Abstract

Krisis energi yang melanda dunia mengharuskan pelaksanaan hemat energi di segala lini dan tempat, termasuk di dalamnya energi listrik.  Kampus Kasipah UNIMUS memiliki tingkat pemakaian ruangan yang cukup tinggi pada saat jam kerja dan daya listrik yang terpasang sering trip karena kelebihan beban. Untuk itu diperlukan audit energi untuk menentukan (klarifikasi) nilai indeks konsumsi energi (IKE) dan membandingkannya dengan standar IKE Asia. Hasil penelitian berupa nilai IKE gedung kampus Kasipah UNIMUS adalah 117,4 kWh/m2. Nilai ini masih di bawah standar IKE gedung perkantoran (240 kWh/m2). Dari hasil ini dapat direkomendasikan dua hal yaitu : pemakaian daya di gedung kampus Kasipah masih dapat ditingkatkan guna mencapai standar minimal peralatan ruangan  dan penaikan kapasitas daya terpasang menjadi 33 kVA agar tidak sering terjadi trip. Kata kunci : krisis energi, audit energi, konservasi energi.

Abstract

Low impedance grounding is necessary to anticipate the return flow that can be directly on the ground. Research caruied out by field observations to determine the impedance value which is derived by a single rod electrode: Testing the impedance by the planting depth electrode arrangement and frequency settings. The results obtained were impedance value to a depth of 50 cm for 3.2 to 4.8 Ω, the depth of 100 cm for 3-4 Ω and 150 cm depth of 0.4 to 0.1 Ω. Abstract

Bayi lahir prematur memerlukan alat bantu untuk membuat lingkungan si bayi sesuai dengan suhu dalam kandungan ibu yang disebut sebagai inkubator bayi. Inkubator bayi biasa menggunakan kontrol temperatur dimana pengolahan datanya dilakukan secara analog dengan memakai lempeng binetal untuk mengontrol pemanas listrik. Penelitian ini bertujuan membuat kontrol temperatur inkubator bayi berbasis mikrokontroler dengan cara membuat model inkubator bayi dan sistem kontrolnya. Dari hasil penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa dengan sistem mikrokontroler maka pengambilan data, pengolahan dan hasil pengamatan dapat dilakukan dengan lebih teliti dan dapat berjalan dengan lebih baik.kata kunci : inkubator bayi, sistem kontrol temperatur, mikrokontroler

Abstract

Metode PDKB dalam pemeliharaan SUTET 500 kV memegang peranan yang sangat penting untuk menjaga keandalan dan kontinuitas sistem penyaluran sistem tenaga listrik. Metode PDKB mengalami kendala dalam pemeliharaan isolator link pendek karena peralatan Cold End Yoke keluaran manufactur tidak sesuai konstruksinya untuk kontruksi tower tension dengan aksesoris isolator link pendek. Untuk itu sangat perlu dilakukan rekonstruksi Cold End Yoke yang ada agar dapat difungsikan pada konstruksi tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Cold End Yoke rekonstruksi dapat dipakai dan kuat menahan tegangan tarik sesuai kebutuhan SUTET 500 kV.

Abstract

Use of utility electric motor in an industry become is a basic requirement, electric motor serves as a means of supporting drivers / mechanics of a tool such as pumps, chillers, conveyors etc. The electric motor takes energy consumption in the worlds greatest industrial and motors is expected to use about 70% of the total electrical load in the industry. This research aims to analyze unbalanced load on electric motor and how to solve that problems. Unnecessary consumption of energy from the electric motor is usually caused inefficiencies and unbalanced load burden. Abstract

Poultry demand increasingly higher demands adequate supply of poultry meat in the community. Utilizing modern farming technology for the mass production of seedlings poultry egg incubator that uses electrical equipment. The tool have a manual thermostat can not adjust the type of eggs that will be hatched and can not compensate for extreme weather changes. Microcontroller technology produces devices that can regulate the temperature of the egg incubator and compensate for extreme climate change. Abstract

20 kV distribution of PLN is not free from distractions short circuit. Greatest short circuit fault current occurs at 20 kV bus bar. This led to widespread outages as a result of the major security operation. The aim of this study was to identify the final interruption of short circuit current, short circuit fault current to calculate and determine the values Over Current Relay (OCR) and Ground Fault Relay (GFR). This study purposed to calculate short circuit current. The subject of research is the disturbances that occurred in Cimalaka feeders. The data required for this study were obtained from the Area Manager Distribution of Bandung. The data is analyzed to determine the magnitude of short circuit current and Over Current Relay (OCR) and Ground Fault Relay (GFR) adjustment. The results show the short circuit fault current at 0% distance from feeder is 2428,391 A and short circuit current for 3 phase is 2103,049 A short circuit fault current and the second phase of 570,406 A short circuit fault current one phase to the ground. The difference in the relay settings data from the field with the calculation results showed that the differences are not too significant, so the ability of the relays is still good. Thus, the feeder protection relays Cimalaka at 70 kV substation Sumedang still good and doesn’t need to be reset. Keywords: Over Current Relay

Abstract

Energy is one important part of everyday life, especially electrical energy . Electrical energy must be consider the level of economic needs, so that the availability of electrical energy in accordance with thus the availability of electricity and energy fuel for power supply is very limited as a result of the energy crisis . People should be selective in the use of electrical energy for daily life in order to save in financial terms as well as the availability of energy sources. The aims of this research is to analyze of electrical load in Faculty of Public Health, Diponegoro University based on their need alignment with their subscription. Abstract

Power Plant units are responsible for providing power generation in the power system so that the load can be served.Poer Plant units may trouble each time. The disorder resulting plants cannot operate. If this interference occurs at the same time on several large generating units, it is possible that the power available in the system is reduced such that the system is not sufficient to serve the load. Reliability cf the electrical system must be maintained and enhanced, so that the load needs to be served. Thus it is necessary to investigate whether or not the reliability of the system every year. Reliability of the electrical system can be determined by calculating the value of (loss of load probability) LOLP with units of days / year. The smaller the value, the better the level of LOLPkendalan an electrical system. In 2009 the electrical system of Central Java and Yogyakarta not meet the standards, ie the value of LOLP 4.088 days / year. For the years 2010 and 2011 has increased reliability and meet the standards, with the value of 0.043 days in 2010 and 0.017 in 2011 days.Keywords: LOLP, reliability of Electric Power Systems

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan membuat rancangan alat pengendali nyamuk yang lebih baik dari segi keamanan, kecepatan dan ketepatannya. Alat penyengat nyamuk yang dibuat berfungsi menarik nyamuk dengan lampu ultra violet dan kipas angin listrik dan menyengatnya dengan rangkaian penyengat listrik. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan jumlah nyamuk yang tersengat lebih banyak pada ruangan yang gelap (selisih rata-rata 1,11) dan menggunakan lampu ultra violet (selisih rata-rata 5,45).   Kata Kunci : Nyamuk, Penyengat Listrik, Rancang Bangun.
