Abstract

Today, stock market activity influenced by many thinks or factors, where could be from internal or external factors company it self. This study analyzed profitability ratio which measured by Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return On Assets (ROA), and Return On Equity (ROE) banking company and the effects to stock market activity. The result showed that only ROE ratio influenced significantly to stock market activity, while others ratio, who is NPM and ROA did not influence significantly to stock market activity.

Abstract

Many companies use more than one currency in doing business, which make them being exposed to exchange rate risk fluctuation. Accordingly, the Company’s financial manager needs to understand how to measure the risk exposure in order to determine when and how to protect the company from the risk. PT Pura Daya Prima (PDP) is one of that companies which has long been concerned on how to mitigate its economic and transaction exposure. The purpose of this project is to help the company mitigate its risk exposure and find the best hedging technique or other mitigation strategy to minimize their risk. The result of the project is to determine the most favorable hedging policy and the best way to implement the financial instruments or products available in the market or simulated. It is expected that PT Pura Daya Prima would be able to quickly execute hedging techniques in order to prevent financial loss due to foreign exchange exposure.

Abstract

Many components in a software house company can be used in controlling and measuring its information technology projects.  The financial component is not only the numbers that tells how a company generates its profits. It also can tell how a project performance related to its scope, cost, schedule, and quality. For example, many information technology projects’ budget increases as more work time needed to complete the planned schedule due to problems occurred whilst project execution. These correlations between cost, schedule and the execution performance can be measured from a project financial component using a method called as Earned Value Analysis. The purpose of the research is to help PT. Aprisma Indonesia to properly and comprehensively analyze the Global Cash Management financial performance and find the most feasible recommendation to improve the projects performance in the future. The result of the research is to measures on how the Global Cash Management project performed according to the time and budget plan at PT. Aprisma Indonesia. Hopefully by knowing the components that influencing the Global Cash Management project cost and understand how to measure them, PT. Aprisma Indonesia would be able to quickly execute management strategies to address specific project problems.

Abstract

Stock price movement is influenced by many factors such as actions taken by the government, interest rates fluctuating, as well as a variety of other internal or external factors. The authors discuss the internal side of the company and the use of liquidity ratios, solvency, activity, and profitability ratios on the Current Ratio, Return on Equity (ROE), profit margin, Debt Ratio, and Total Assets Turnover. The authors discuss whether there is a relationship between each of the five ratios with stock price movement. The authors showed that each of the Current Ratio, ROE, Profit Margin and Debt Ratio Total Assets Turnover, Profit Margin and ROE only affected the stock price movement, while the Current Ratio, Debt Ratio, and Total Assets Turnover had no significant effect on stock price movements.
