Abstract

The research background was the deflation of breast-milk production during the first day after bearing. The objective of this research was to perceive the effectiveness of combination of marmet techniques and oxytocin massage to breast-milk production on post cesarean section women. This was an quasi experiment research using post test only design with a control group. Samples were collected with non-probability sampling techniques which was consecutive sampling, involving 54 total samples. Research result shows there is a difference between the proportion of breast milk production smoothness among controlled group and intervention group (p value=0.000). This study also shows that post cesarean section women given combination of marmet technique and oxytocin massage have 11.5 greater opportunity to have smooth breast-milk production compared to controlled group (OR= 11.500).

Abstract

Background: Many breastfeeding mothers find that their milk production decreases or even stops when they return to work due to reduced breastfeeding hormones. Massage can stimulate the oxytocin hormone, and to replace the manual massage, a digital massager of oxytocin (DMO) is developed.Purpose: This study aimed to identify the effects of the DMO on the milk production of the breastfeeding working mothers. Methods: This study employed a quasi-experiment with pretest-posttest control group design. The samples were 93 breastfeeding working mothers in the community with a baby below 6 months. The samples were assigned into the intervention group (n=46) and the control group (n=47). An intervention of using the DMO was given to the mothers in the intervention group by applying the electrodes on the first intercostae of BL-17 and Bl-18 acupoints for 20 minutes in 3 consecutive days. Meanwhile, a standard treatment was given to the control group. Breast milk expression was carried out before and after the use of DMO. The data were analyzed using the Mann-Whitney and the Wilcoxon tests. Results: The results showed that there were differences in the volume of the expressed breast milk before and after the use of the DMO (p=0.00). The mothers in the intervention group increased their milk production on an average of 23 ml when other variables affecting the breastfeeding were controlled.Conclusion: The DMO stimulated and increased the milk production of working mothers. It can also be an alternative to the complementary therapy, especially for the nursing care management of breastfeeding mothers.

Abstract

Mother facing a period of menopause will experience problems physiologically psychological and like sweating nocturnal, dryness of vagina resulting pain in bone when correlating sexual, worries and less self confidence. Sigh is not balmy when correlating deductible sexual by giving intervention of treatment appropriate causing can increase quality of life at menopause mother. Intention of this study is to know massage effectivity with aromatherapy frangipani to comfort of the relation of sexual at menopause mother. 40 responders involved in this research consisted of 20 responders at group of intervention and 20 responders at group of control. This research applies method quasi experiment of type pre and post test with group control. Result is showing existence of difference having a meaning balmy taste when correlating sexual at group of intervention at before and after intervention (p < 0,0005). From result of research is recommended by massage with aromatherapy frangipani to health officer in public and clinic climaterium as part of treatment upbringing as a mean to increases comfort of the relation of sexual at menopause mother.

Abstract

Introduction: The maternal mortality remains high in developing countries such as Indonesia. Three most common reasons for this incidence are hemorrhage, infection, and eclampsia. Some of these conditions can be infl uenced by Iron Defi ciency Anemia (IDA). A lot of programs for nutrition have been provided by Indonesian government, but the nutritional condition of pregnant women still be big problem in Indonesia. This study explored the nutritional status of pregnant village women in Banten Province, Indonesia and assessed interventions in dealing with nutrition problems among pregnant women especially in the rural area. Method: The design was a longitudinal descriptive study with operational study by empowering village midwives and cadre to intervene pregnant women nutrition in rural area. The measurements were focused on the rate of anemia, body mass index (BMI), and weight. Three stages were applied in this study with community development as intervention. Result: This study reported some changes in the midwife practises after Intervertion, while cadres more talkative when explaining about nutrition after intervention. However, the intervention did not affect the overall nutritional status of the pregnant women and the intervention was not able to influence the community’s health in the medium term in the intervention villages. Analysis and discussion: This study recommend the government and educational institutions to improve the competencies of health care providers especially in communication skill. Keywords: Community development, Indonesia, nutritional status, pregnant women, rural nursing.

Abstract

Introduction: Ability to care of  postcaesarean mother affected by multifactor; moternal  characteristic, knowledge and cultural values. Postcaesarean mother has high level of dependency in performing selfcare and baby care. The aim of this study was  to  identified  of selfcare and baby care and relation with that factors  and cultural behaviour associaated pospartum care. Method: this study used cross sectional design with a purpossive sampling of 66 post caesarean mother ini five hospital in West Java. Instrumen used consisted of  maternal  characteristic including ages, parity,job, income, knowledga,  cultural values, cultural behaviour  and observasional instruments of  the ability to care. Result: there was a significant relationship between job characteristic and cultural values with the ability to care, for the correlation r 0.295 an 0.355 (p value = 0.003). Discussion: nurses must perform a cultural approach in facilitating the mother to care for themselves and care for the baby in accordance with their cultural values, so that the mother can perform optimally care. Abstract

This research aim to assess the determinants of success of Cassava Chips Gerus, assess the competitive position of Cassava Chips Gerus, and formulate the alternative strategies for SME Sumekar Pratiwi in order to market their products. The basic method used in this research is descriptive analytic. Subject of this research is determined purposively. The data used in this study are primary and secondary data. This study used Competitive Profile Matrix (CPM) as its analysis data method. The result shows factors that determined the success of cassava chips Gerus brand. Based on CPM analytic, the product of cassava chips Gerus brand (3.116) occupies the second position in comparison to its competitors, namely cassava chips C (2.058) and cassava chips D (1.655). Cassava chips B (3,171) occupies the first position. Alternative competitive strategy that can be applied to the cassava chips Gerus is to promote the brand Gerus brand through sales-force promotion, conduct product positioning to create the image of quality products: that taste more savory, has the most recognized brands, more attractive label design and label information is more informative, and benchmark color, taste of the final product after the meal and set prices quantity discounts to final consumersKey words: Cassava Chips, Competitive Profile Matrix, Competitive Strategy

Abstract

The research aims to determine the cost, revenue, profit of industry milkfish presto Bu Jumiati,  identify internal and external factors that affecting the development industry milkfish presto Bu Jumiati, to determine alternative strategy and strategy priority in development of industry milkfish presto Bu Jumiati. The basic method of research is descriptive with case study implementation technique. The location of the research is determined by purposive in industry milkfish presto Bu Jumiati. Analysis of the data used are (1) Analysis of cost, revenue, and profit, (2) IFE, (3) EFE, (4) SWOT, (5) QSPM. The results showed (1) Total cost of expenditure of Idr 69.043.750, the receipt of Idr 83,4 million, profit of Idr 14.356.250; (2) IFE indicates there are eight strengths and six weaknesses; (3) EFE shows there are five opportunities and five threats; (4) Alternative strategies that can be applied is to seek certificates of PIRT, halal certificate and include expiration date on product packaging, make improvements to bookkeeping management, design sales promotion with online media to increase sales and increase market development, foster strong motivation Owner of industry milkfish presto to attend information technology training and financial management; (5) A good strategic priority to apply is to obtain a PIRT certificate, a Halal certificate and include an expiration date on the product packaging.

Abstract

Pada proses produksi pembuatan komponen HVAC (Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning) dari perusahaan manufaktur di Indonesia, memerlukan proses pengecekan kebocoran pada bagian HVAC. Proses pengecekan ini dilakukan untuk memastikan tidak ada komponen HVAC yang bocor sebelum dikirim ke pihak pelanggan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk membuat system dan alat air leak test.Mesin air leak test ini menggunakan prinsip kerja differential pressure air leak test, yaitumetode yang membandingkanantaratekananudara yang diberikankeprodukdan master produk. Padapenelitian ini, kami membuat disain mesin air leak test menggunakan system kendali berupa air leak tester, PLC, dan HMI.Berdasarkankondisidengankapasitasproduksi yang meningkat karena bertambahnya permintaan dari customer, dapat ditanggulangi dengan adanya share loading produksi dari HVAC line 4 ke line baru, yaitu HVAC line 6. Hasil yang didapat dari pengujian deteksi kebocoran produk,didapat nilai parameter kebocoran produk sebesar 2.23 ml/min.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to identify the activities of Integrated Marketing Communications Mom Milk in maintaining marketing activities and consumer interest. Then the strategy could be an alternative strategy for the other businesses in the face of the ASEAN Economic Community. The basic method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The location of this study purposively taking case study in Mom Milk considering that Mom Milk is milk bar businesses that are already using some of the activities of integrated marketing communications. Sources of data in this study is a resource, and field observations. Researchers collected data were interviews, records and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study using an interactive model that consists of three basic components: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions with the verification to know each Integrated Marketing Communication activities carried out by Mom Milk. The results showed that the marketing communication activities conducted by Mom Milk is linked activities and support each other to inform Mom Milk to consumers. Each activity has functionality ranging from building awareness through radio advertising and magazine advertising, advertising to persuade consumers via the Internet and social media, and to maintain customer loyalty through the provision of incentives andprom  otion to its customers. Barriers faced by Mom Milk is the number of competitorsand peoples lifestyles are highly volatile change. However, through creativity and innovation Milk Mom both of products and marketing styles, Mom Milk was never afraid to face it.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengindentifikasi kegiatan IntegratedMarketing Communications kedai Susu Mom Milk dalam mempertahankan kegiatanpemasaran dan menarik minat konsumen. Kemudian strategi tersebut bisa menjadialternatif strategi bagi pelaku usaha lain dalam menghadapi ASEAN EconomicCommunity.Metode dasar yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metodedeskriptif kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian ini secara purposive mengambil studi kasus diMom Milk dengan pertimbangan bahwa Mom Milk merupakan usaha kedai susu yangsudah menggunakan beberapa kegiatan komunikasi pemasaran terpadu. Sumber datapada penelitian ini adalah narasumber, dan observasi lapangan. Penelitimengumpulkan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, pencatatan, dan dokumentasi.Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model analisis interaktif yangterdiri dari 3 komponen pokok yaitu reduksi data, sajian data, dan penarikan simpulandengan verifikasinya untuk mengetahui masing-masing kegiatan Integrated MarketingCommunication yang dilakukan oleh Mom Milk.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwakegiatan komunikasi pemasaran yang dilakukan oleh Mom Milk merupakan kegiatanyang saling berhubungan dan saling mendukung untuk menginformasikan Mom Milkkepada para konsumen. Setiap kegiatan memiliki fungsi mulai dari membangun kesadaran melalui iklan radio dan iklan majalah, membujuk konsumen melaluiperiklanan internet dan media social, dan untuk menjaga loyalitas konsumen melaluipemberian insentif dan promosi kepada para konsumennya. Hambatan yang dihadapioleh Mom Milk adalah banyaknya pesaing dan gaya hidup masyarakat yang sangatmudah berubah ubah. Namun melalui kreatifitas dan inovasi Mom Milk baik itu dariproduk maupun gaya pemasaran, Mom Milk tidak pernah takut untuk menghadapinya.
