Abstract

Perangkat pembelajaran materi pencemaran lingkungan yang terdapat di SMA Negeri 1 SoE masih belum dikembangkan secara baik, menyebabkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa menjadi rendah dan menurunnya hasil belajar siswa kelas X. Disebabkan materi pencemaran lingkungan masih bersifat abstrak dan belum mengarah kepada pemahaman konsep. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran bermodelkan example non example berorientasi pada kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa. Desain penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dan pengujiannya menggunakan metode eksperimen. Teknik analisa data meliputi uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji kevalidan, uji ketuntasan hasil belajar. Penelitian ini dikembangkan perangkat pembelajaran bermodelkan example non example meliputi silabus, Rencana Pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP), bahan ajar, Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) dan alat evaluasi, yang divalidasi validator ahli untuk mengetahui validitas, reliabilitas perangkat pembelajaran. Untuk memperoleh data pelengkap dikembangkan instrumen yaitu lembar observasi kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, lembar angket afektif siswa, respon guru dan siswa. Hasil pengembangan pembelajaran bermodelkan example non example yang valid dan inovatif. Pada kelas eksperimen 1 kemampuan berpikir kritis lebih baik dibandingkan kelas eksperimen 2. Respon guru 92,5% dan siswa 96,16% dengan kriteria baik sekali. Hasil belajar sesuai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) kedua kelas eksperimen, sebesar 77,7% dan 88,8% artinya pembelajaran dilakukan secara tuntas. The lesson plan of environment pollution in SMA Negeri 1 SoE, had been not developed well because environmental pollution especially in the school environment was still abstract and  in teaching learning process did not lead the students to understand the concept of pollution itself .It was the reason why the achievement of X.1 students were still low because the students did not have the critical thinking ability. The objective of  the research is produce instrument learning model example non example oriented on students outcome and critical thinking ability. The research design Research and Development (R&D) and  use experimental method. This objective study was to develop a learning model example non example includes syllabus, Lesson Plan, teaching materials, students worksheet (LKS) and evaluation tools, which have been validated  by a validator experts to determine the validity and reliability of the learning device. To obtain supplementary data developed instruments which are; observation sheet of the students critical thinking skills, students’ affective questionnaire sheet, teachers and students response. The result of this study showed that example non example model was valid and innovative. In the first experimental class showed that the critical thinking skills better than the second experimental class. Learning modeled example non example also provided a response to the teachers was 92.5% and 96.16% of students with excellent criteria. The result of the study showed that first experimental class gained 77,7% and the second  experimental class gained 88.8%. It means that both classes passed the Minimum Mastery Criterion (KKM).

Abstract

Objectives to be achieved in service activities is to foster the spirit of starting a new life for the 5 farmers who suffered catastrophic cold lava flood particular group Livestock quail Tani Mulyo Hamlet Quick Village Gondosuli Muntilan district and 5 breeders are joined in Group Livestock quail Rejeki Hamlet Macanan Banyudono Shaman District. Specific targets are the seeds quail ready to lay that out of 1,000 head of targeted quail egg can produce 75%, assuming a quail egg-laying 1 egg / day, sold at a retail price of Rp. 210, - / point. Results of these activities are still limited availability of seedling 3,690 tails with an average weight increase in the age of 2 weeks 28 grams and 3,450 head at the age of 8 weeks to 167 grams. Egg production reached 86% before the arranged marriage which only reached 66% egg production quail. To foster the spirit of entrepreneurship that is able to think of creative and innovative and able to read the opportunities as well as clever use it in accordance with the capabilities and not focused on just one type of work just the wives of farmers tried to create diversified products made from meat and quail eggs.

ESTIMASI NILAI BREEDING BERAT BADAN DAN PRODUKSI TELUR PUYUH (COTURNIX COTURNIX JAPONICA) BERDASARKAN POLIMORFISME GEN GH

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui estimasi nilai breeding berat badan dan produksi telur puyuh (Coturnix coturnix japonica) berdasarkan polimorfisme gen GH. Sampel darah puyuh yang digunakan 100 sampel puyuh betina. Untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya polimorfisme gen GH digunakan metode PCR-RFLP dengan tahapan isolasi DNA, amplifikasi gen GH menggunakan sepasang primer GH Forward 5’-ATCCCCAGGCAAACAT CC TC-3’ GH Reverse 5’-CCTCGACATCCAGCTCACAT 3’. Selanjutnya digesti menggunakan enzim Msp I. Hasil elektroforesis dianalisis statistik berdasarkan frekuensi alel gen GH. Hasil penelitian diperoleh produk PCR 776 bp. Produk PCR-RFLP yang telah dipotong dengan enzim Msp I hasil elektroforesis menggunakan agarose 2% diperoleh adanya polimorfisme gen GH. Polimorfisme gen GH ditunjukkan dengan 3 macam fragmen hasil potongan gen GH pada setiap individu yaitu fragmen yang terpotong menjadi dua pita 239 bp dan 537 bp sebagai genotip AA tidak terpotong satu pita 776 bp genotip BB dan fragmen gabungan tiga pita 239 bp, 537 bp dan 776 bp yang disebut genotip AB. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa gen GH puyuh menggunakan PCR-RFLP bersifat polimorfik. Nilai breeding berat badan genotip AA 26,04; AB 25,53 dan BB 25,01. Nilai breeding produksi telur AA 6,17; AB 2,26 dan BB – 1,66. Nilai breeding berat badan dan produksi telur berkorelasi negatip.

Abstract

The research aimed to identify the effectiveness of the use of  the Butterfly Sanctuary  at Semarang State University (SSU) as biology learning resourcess for  SMP Negeri 24 Semarang students who  learned the Growth and Development topics. It was a Quasi Experimental Research with Non Equivalent Control Group Design and with purposiverandom sampling techniques. The location of research was at both SMP Negeri 24 Semarang and the Butterfly Sanctuary at SSU during the academic semester of 2013/2014. The  research result showed that the  students’ activities of experimental  groups  were more active in biology  learning than of that of the untreated group (control classess),  t-test showed that tcount (12,94) > ttable (1,99) there was significant difference of learning achievement between the two classes (experiment  and control). The  use of  the Butterfly Sanctuary at SSU had significantly  influenced the increased  biology activities and achievements  on  the topics of  Growth and Development. Penilitian ini bertujuan mengetahui efektivitas-pemanfaatan penangkaran kupu-kupu di Unnes sebagai sumber belajar terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di SMP Negeri 24 Semarang pada materi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan Quasi Experimental Research dengan Non Equivalent Control Group Design dan pengambilan sampel secara purposif random sampling. Pelaksanaan penelitian dilakukan di SMP Negeri 24 Semarang dan penangkaran kupu-kupu di Unnes pada semester gasal tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat aktivitas siswa kelas eksperimen pada kegiatan pembelajaran di penangkaran kupu-kupu lebih aktif daripada kelas control. Hasil uji t terhadap rerata nilai hasil belajar menunjukkan thitung (12.94) > ttabel (1,99) hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan signifikan terhadap rerata nilai hasil belajar antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah pemanfaatan penangkaran kupu-kupu di Unnes sebagai sumber belajar berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di SMP Negeri 24 Semarang pada materi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan  

EFEKTIVITAS PEMBELAJARAN RECIPROCAL TEACHING TERHADAP AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA MATERI PROTISTA

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji efektivitas pembelajaran reciprocal teaching pada materi Protista untuk membedakan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMA N 1 Godong antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi experimental menggunakan rancangan the posttest only control group. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas X MIA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas X MIA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian meliputi aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan aktivitas dan hasil belajar (pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan) kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Untuk kelas kontrol, rata-rata nilai pengetahuan = 3,29; sikap = 2,98; keterampilan = 3,34. Untuk kelas eksperimen rata-rata nilai pengetahuan = 3,38; sikap = 3,08; dan keterampilan 3,41. Aktivitas siswa kelas kontrol 71,25% siswa dalam kategori aktif sampai sangat aktif sedangkan kelas eksperimen 78,75%. Siswa dan guru memberikan tanggapan “baik” terhadap model pembelajaran reciprocal teaching yang diterapkan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, pembelajaran model reciprocal teaching materi Protista yang diterapkan “efektif” terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. This research aims to test the effectiveness of reciprocal teaching learning to the matter protist to distinguish activity and study results of class X student SMA N 1 Godong between control class and experimental class. This research is a quasi experimental design was the posttest only control group. The sample in this research is X MIA 2 as a control class and X MIA 1 as experimental classes taken with purposive sampling technique. The research data include student activity and study results of knowledge, attitudes, and skills. The results showed that there are differences in activity and study results (knowledge, attitudes, and skills) control class and experimental class. The average results of experimental class higher than the control class. For the control class, the average value of the knowledge = 3.29; attitude = 2.98; skills = 3.34. For the experimental class the average value of the knowledge = 3.38; attitude = 3.08; and skills 3.41. Activity graders control 71,25% of the students in the category of active to very active while the experiment group 78,75%. Students and teachers responded well against the learning model of reciprocal teaching applied. Based on the results of research learning model of reciprocal teaching materials protist are applied effectively against the activity and results of student learning.

PENGGUNAAN MODEL THINK TALK WRITE (TTW) DENGAN MEDIA BOOKLET PADA HASIL BELAJAR SISWA MATERI INVERTEBRATA DI SMA NEGERI 2 UNGARAN

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hasil belajar siswa melalui penggunaan model TTW dengan media booklet pada materi Invertebrata di SMA Negeri 2 Ungaran. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan teknikpurposive sampling, dengan rancangan penelitian Quasi Experimental Design, model Nonequivalent Control Group Design, kelas X.7 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X.3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Variabel bebas adalah penggunaan model TTW dengan media booklet. Variabel terikat adalah hasil belajar siswa.Hasil belajar siswa diperoleh dari nilai LDS, hasil karya siswa (pada fase write), aktivitas siswa dan nilai aspek kognitif setelah pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen memiliki rata-rata 79,66 lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol dengan rata-rata 71,68 dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 88,57% dan 20,59%. Data tersebut menunjukkan bahwa kelas ekperimen memiliki hasil belajar yang lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol. Hasil uji t menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara model TTW dengan media booklet terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Siswa dan guru memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap pelaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan model TTW dengan media booklet. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penggunaan model Think Talk Write (TTW) dengan media booklet dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi Invertebrata kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Ungaran. This study aims to analyze the result of student learning using Think Talk Write (TTW) model with booklet on Invertebrates material in SMA Negeri 2 Ungaran. The sample of this study is taken with purposive sampling technique, design research isQuasi Experimental Design, Nonequivalent Control Group Design models, X.7 as the experiments class and X.3 as the control class. The independent variable is using of models TTW with booklet. The dependent variable is measured by learning results students. That is obtained by LDS value, students work in write phase value, students activities and after the cognitive aspectof learning value. The result showed thatthe results of experimental class learning has an average of 79.66 is better than the control class with an average of 71.68 with classical completeness of 88.57% and 20.59%. This result shows that the experimental class has a higher learning results than the control class. Ttest results shows that there are significant differences between learning TTWmodels with booklet on the results for students. Studentsand teachers give positive responses to the implementation of learning using TTWmodels with booklet. However from this study isthe use of Think Talk Write (TTW)models withbooklet can improve student learning results in invertebrates material at grade X SMAN 2 Ungaran.

PENGEMBANGAN LEMBAR KERJA SISWA BERBASIS MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCES PADA MATERI PERTUMBUHAN DAN PERKEMBANGAN

Abstract

This study aimed to develop and assess feasibility of student worksheet on Growth and Development topics, based on multiple intelligences theory, as well as to measure the effectiveness of  the student worksheet. Research design used  was one of research and development modified from Sugiyono (2010), and was based on students’ intelligences identification and teaching materials analyzed. LKS validation results were analyzed with descriptive percentages. Small-scale testing was  carried out on 1 teacher and 12 students to assess worksheets legibility. Large-scale field-testing was carried out on one teacher and 36 students to measure student worksheets’ effectiveness. Results of student worksheet development based on multiple intelligences theory in terms of  its material feasibility aspects was  96,87% (obtained score) and media feasibility 89,56% under medium category. Normalized gain score was 0,65, indicating that  there was an increasing learning achievement  from pretest to posttest under medium category. Classical completeness of  students reached 88,89%. The use of  the student worksheet for  learning process was appreciated ‘ very good responses’ by  teachers and students, 100% and 88,69%. Student worksheet development  on the basis of multiple intelligence theories for  Growth and Development topics was  feasible and effectively applied for  learning. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengetahui kelayakan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) berbasis multiple intelligences pada materi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan serta mengukur keefektifan LKS dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dimodifikasi dari Sugiyono (2010) berdasarkan hasil identifikasi kecerdasan siswa dan analisis kebutuhan bahan ajar. Hasil validasi LKS dianalisis dengan deskriptif persentase. Uji coba skala kecil dilakukan terhadap 1 guru dan 12 siswa untuk menilai keterbacaan LKS. Uji coba skala besar dilakukan terhadap 1 guru dan 36 siswa untuk mengukur efektivitas LKS dalam pembelajaran. Hasil pengembangan LKS berbasis multiple intelligences aspek kelayakan materi memperoleh skor 96,87% dan kelayakan media 89,56% dengan kategori sangat layak. Nilai gain ternormalisasi sebesar 0,65 menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar dari pretest ke posttest dengan kategori sedang. Ketuntasan klasikal siswa mencapai 88,89%. Penggunaan lembar kerja siswa dalam pembelajaran memperoleh tanggapan sangat baik dari guru dan siswa dengan persentase 100% dan 88,69%. Pengembangan lembar kerja siswa berbasis multiple intelligences pada materi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan layak dan efektif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran.

PROFIL PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI BERBASIS LABORATORIUM DAN IMPLIKASINYA TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA DI SMA NEGERI SE-KABUPATEN SEMARANG

Abstract

 Abstrak___________________________________________________________________Pembelajaran berbasis laboratorium menekankan kegiatan praktikum di laboratorium sebagai komponen utama dalam proses belajar mengajar. Hal ini akan mewujudkan hakikat Biologi yang menekankan pada pemberian pengalaman secara langsung. Perlu adanya penelitian lebih mendalam mengenai seberapa jauh pembelajaran ini diimplementasikan oleh guru dan bagaimana sebenarnya implikasinya terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) guru dan siswa memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap pembelajaran berbasis laboratorium; 2) guru telah mengimplementasikan pembelajaran berbasis laboratorium pada  materi Biologi kelas XI semester genap tahun pelajaran 2012/2013; 3) guru sudah menyiapkan silabus, RPP dan LKS sebagai perangkat pembelajaran Biologi berbasis laboratorium; 4) kualitas hasil belajar siswa kelas XI pada materi sistem pencernaan semester genap berada dalam kategori baik (72,73%) dan sangat baik (27,27%); 5) Sekolah telah dilengkapi laboratorium guna menunjang proses pembelajaran Biologi berbasis laboratorium. Abstract This learning emphasizes practical activities in the laboratory as the principal component in the teaching learning process. This will attain the essence of Biology which puts emphasis on giving experience directly. It needs the further study about how far this learning has been implemented by the teachers and its implications to the students’ achievement. The results of this research showed that 1) the teacher and the students gave positive responses to laboratory based learning; 2) teachers have implemented laboratory based learning in the Biology materials in the even semester of grade XI in the academic year of 2012/2013; 3) teachers have prepared the syllabi, lesson plans, and students’ worksheets as learning media for laboratory based biology learning; 4) the quality of students’ achievement in grade XI on the digestion system material in the even semester can be categorized as good (72,73%) and very good (27,27%); 5) the schools have  Biology laboratory to support the application of laboratory based learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis proyek pembuatan miniatur ekosistem terhadap hasil belajar ekologi pada siswa SMA dan menganalisis efektivitas  pembelajaran berbasis proyek pembuatan miniatur ekosistem dalam mengoptimalkan hasil belajar ekologi pada siswa SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan Quasi Experimental dengan menggunakan pola the randomized posttest-only control group design, using matched group dengan menggunakan kelas kontrol dan eksperimen. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa hasil belajar siswa (nilai afektif, kognitif, dan psikomotorik), data tanggapan siswa dan guru.  Data hasil belajar siswa dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik komparasi dan uji ketuntasan belajar klasikal sedangkan tanggapan siswa dan guru dianalisis secara deskriptif persentase. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, pembelajaran berbasis proyek pembuatan miniatur ekosistem berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar kognitif dan psikomotorik siswa namun tidak berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar afektif. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis proyek pembuatan miniatur ekosistem efektif dalam mengoptimalkan hasil belajar kognitif dan psikomotorik karena memenuhi kriteria efektivitas yaitu sebagai berikut: 1) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar kognitif dan psikomotorik siswa pada kelas kontrol dan eksperimen, 2) nilai kognitif: 91,17 % siswa mencapai KKM, 3) nilai psikomotorik: 100 % siswa mencapai KKM, 4) tanggapan siswa dan guru mencapai kategori sangat baik.  This research aimed to determine the effect of project-based learning of making ecosystems miniature to the ecology learning achievement at high school students and analyze the effectiveness of project-based learning of making ecosystems miniature to optimize the ecology learning achievement at high school students. This research was Quasi Experimental Design. The design of  this research was  the randomized posttest-only contro group design, using matched group with experimental and control class. Data collected in the form of student learning outcomes (value of affective, cognitive and psychomotor), response data of students and teachers . Student learning outcome data were analyzed using statistical comparative test and classical learning completeness while students and teacher responses were analyzed descriptively percentage. Based on the results of the research, project-based learning of making ecosystems miniature influence students learning achivement on cognitive and psychomotoric but does not affect the affective learning achievement. The results of the research also showed that project-based learning of making ecosystems miniature effective to optimizing cognitive and psychomotoric learning achievement. It was shown by 1)  there are differences cognitive and psychomotor learning achievement of students in control and experimental’s class 2) the cognitive scores of 91.17% students reached KKM, 3)the psychomotoric scores 100% students reached KKM, 4) the responses of students and teacher reached very goo category.

THE EFFECTIVENESS OF HEURISTIK VEE LEARNING MODEL ASSISTED WITH PERDU/EDUCATIVE GAMES (EG) WORKSHEET TOWARDS THE STUDENTS’ LEARNING RESULT ON PLANT MOVEMENT MATERIAL

Abstract

Abstract   ___________________________________________________________________   This study aims to determine student learning outcomes in learning to use the Heuristic Vee-assisted learning model with LKS PERDU. Material of Motion on Plants in MTs Muhammadiyah 3 Masaran Sragen was employed for the study. This study uses a quasi-experimental design. The sample used is a class VIII A (experimental group) and VIII C (control group). Sampling technique was the purposive sampling. The results showed> 75% of student learning outcomes exceed the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) is 75. Cognitively, the average grade student mastery learning experiment was 90% while the control group 77%. In psychomotor aspect in the experimental class 79.2% of students qualify as very good, and the rest on both criteria. On the affective aspects in the experimental class 75% of students qualify as very good, and the rest on both criteria.
