Abstract

The aims of this research are to increase the discipline and study result of the students through the implementation of cooperative learning type make a match model at the first grade of A class at state junior high school Metro Utara. The kind of this research is classroom action research with planing, acting, observing, and reflecting step. Collecting the data use observation sheet to the discipline data, and worksheet test to the learning result data. The discipline data is analyzed with the qualitative analyzes technique. Whereas the learning result data analyzed with quantitative analyzes technique. The research showed that implementation of cooperative learning type make a match model can increase the discipline and the learning result.Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk meningkatkan disiplin dan hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan model cooperative learning tipe make a match kelas I A SD Negeri I Metro Utara. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi untuk data disiplin dan lembar tes untuk data hasil belajar. Data disiplin siswa dianalisis dengan teknik analisis kualitatif, sedangkan data hasil belajar dianalisis dengan teknik analisis kuantitatif. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan penerapan model cooperative learning tipe make a match dapat meningkatkan disiplin dan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci: cooperative learning tipe make a match, disiplin, hasil belajar.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to produce an effective worksheet based problem based learning model in social studies for the fourth grade students of elementary school. The method of this research used research and development method with eight step included potential and problems, data colecting, product design, design validation, design revision, limited product testing, product revision and expanded used trials. The collecting data used questionnaire, multiple choice and description. The data were analyzed by using N-Gain formula. The research saw that worksheet based problem based learning model was effective to improve learning outcome in social studies for the fourth grade of elementary school.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menghasilkan produk bahan ajar LKS berbasis model problem based learning pada mata pelajaran IPS yang efektif bagi siswa kelas IV SD. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan delapan tahapan meliputi potensi & masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba produk terbatas, revisi produk dan uji coba pemakaian diperluas. Alat pengumpul data menggunakan lembar angket, soal pilihan ganda dan uraian. Data dianalisis menggunakan rumus N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKS berbasis model problem based learning efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran IPS di Kelas IV SD.Kata Kunci : problem based learning, LKS, hasil belajar.
