Abstract

Abstract: This study describe to investigate : (1) the implementation of the program of On The Job Training to prepare the students of State Vocational High School 6 of Surakarta to enter the world of work; (2) the constraints encountered in the implementation the program of On The Job Training at State Vocational High School 6 of Surakarta; and (3) efforts taken to cope with the constraints in the implementation of the program of On The Job Training at State Vocational High School 6 of Surakarta. This research used the descriptive qualitative research method. The results of the research are as follows: (1) the implementation of the program of On The Job Training at State Vocational High School 6 of Surakarta has been in compliance with the prevailing procedures an can prepare its students majoring in the Office Administration particularly in the expertise competencies in terms of hard skills and soft skills to enter the world of work; (2) the constraints encountered in the implementation of the program are as follows: the students are not mentally ready to follow the program of On The Job Training, the advising teachers have a low frequency to visit the world of business and industry, (c) not all of the competencies can be done by the students, the theories accepted by the students in the class do not conform to the work practicum in the world of business and industry; and (3) the efforts taken to deal with the constraints are as follows: motivating the students, warning the advising teachers, implementing the rolling system at the work department, the advisors of the institutions give guidance to the students.   Keywords: implementation, the program of On The Job Training, students

Abstract

Abstract: The objectives of this research are to investigate: (1) the direct effect of the work division on the employees’ work effectiveness; (2) the direct effect of the work motivation on the employees’ work effectiveness; (3) the direct effect of the cooperation ability on the employees’ work effectiveness; (4) the indirect effect of the work division on the employees’ work effectiveness through the cooperation ability; and (5) the indirect effect of the work motivation on the employees’ work effectiveness through the cooperation ability at the Limited Liability Company of PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Surakarta in 2012. his research used the quantitative research method. The population of the research was all of the employees of the Limited Liability Company of PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Surakarta in 2012. The samples of the research were 53 employees or 25% of the total number of employees of the company, and they were taken by using the proportional random sampling technique. The data of the research were gathered through questionnaire supported by documentation method. The data of the research were analyzed by using the path analysis with the computer program of SPSS 17. The results of the research are as follows: (1) there is a significant and positive direct effect of the work division on the employees’ work effectiveness as indicated by the value of ρ YX1 = beta = 0.356 with the probability (sig) = 0.003; (2) there is a positive and significant direct effect of the work motivation on the employees’ work effectiveness as shown by the value of ρ YX2 = beta = 0.342 with the probability (sig) = 0.003; (3) there is a positive and significant direct effect of the cooperation ability on the employees’ work effectiveness as pointed out by the value of ρ YX3 = beta = 0.240 with the probability (sig) = 0.046; (4) there is a positive and significant indirect effect of the work division on the employees’ work effectiveness through the cooperation ability as suggested by the value of ρ X3X1 . ρ YX3 = (0.308) . (0.240) = 0. 074; and (5) there is a positive and significant indirect effect of the work motivation on the employees’ work effectiveness through the cooperation ability as specified by the value of ρ X3X2 . ρ YX3 = (0.277) . Abstract

The purpose of this study is, 1) to determine the use of facebook as a medium supporting distance learning course on Introduction to Anthropology on program Sociology Anthropology of Education Program in 2012, 2) To know the benefits of facebook as a medium supporting distance learning course on Introduction to Anthropology Education Program Sociology Anthropology in 2012, 3) To determine the barriers and the efforts to handle the media supporting distance learning course on Introduction to Anthropology on program Sociology Anthropology Educational Studies academic year 2012.This study used a qualitative approach and study research. The data source is the informant, place and events, archives, respondents, and document analysis. The sampling technique used was snowball sampling. Method of collecting the data is interviews and documentation analysis. The validity of data using triangulation data (source), while the analysis of the data using interactive analysis.Based on the analysis it can be concluded: (1) Implementation of the Learning Activities by Leveraging Social Media Facebook as a Learning Support. Facebook is not only used as a medium of support but also be used in full for one semester, as a lecturer abroad. Facebook is used as a medium for distance learning because almost all students use facebook. Facebook is used for communication between faculty and students and among students to discuss courses, announcing assignments and exams so that all members can see all the information on group. 2) Excellence in Learning by Using Facebook as a Media Support Distance Learning: a) Increasing levels of interaction between students with learning educators, b) Enables the interaction of learning from anywhere and at any time, c) Reaching learners in coverage, d) Increasing activity in the learning activities. 3) Obstacles in Learning Using Facebook as a Media Support Distance Learning: a) The difference in speed access and delays with predetermined targets, b) error application, c) Lack of character, d) inadequate facilitiesTo cope with such the. Abstract

Salah satu masalah pendidikan yang dihadapi adalah metode pembelajaran yang kurang tepat dan kurangnya interaksi sosial diduga merupakan variabel yang memiliki hubungan dengan prestasi belajar siswa. Diperlukannya metode pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa. Pada penelitian ini metode yang digunakan adalah metode Student Teams Achievement-Divisions (STAD).Tujuan penelitian untuk mendapatkan: 1) perbedaan yang signifikan antara metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dan metode pembelajaran ceramah terhadap prestasi belajar IPS Ekonomi 2) perbedaan yang signifikan interaksi sosial  tinggi dan  interaksi sosial rendah terhadap prestasi belajar IPS Ekonomi 3) interaksi metode pembelajaran dengan interaksi sosial terhadap prestasi belajar IPS Ekonomi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Tawangmangu Tahun Pelajaran 2012/ 2013.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen semu (quasi-eksperimen). Populasinya semua siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Tawangmangu. Sampel diambil dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Jumlah sampel 60 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, kuesioner dan tes prestasi belajar. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis variansi dua jalan sel sama .Hasil penelitian: 1) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok metode kooperatif tipe STAD dengan kelompok metode pembelajaran ceramah terhadap prestasi belajar dengan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05.  2) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara interaksi sosial tinggi dengan interaksi sosial rendah terhadap prestasi belajar dengan signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. 3) terdapat interaksi metode pembelajaran dengan interaksi sosial terhadap prestasi belajar dengan signifikansi sebesar 0,012 < 0,05. Dengan demikian hasil penelitian dengan metode STAD lebih baik daripada siswa yang diajarkan dengan metode ceramah dan interaksi sosial berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar.

Abstract

The research objective was to determine: 1) the influence of computer anxiety to the TAM, 2) TAM effect on work overload, 3) the influence of computer anxiety against job insecurity, 4) effect of work overload and job insecurityto technostress of teacher in SMK Karanganyar. This research is quantitative survey methods. The study population was all vocational teachers SMK Karanganyar Business and Management. The research sample was taken as the population by purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques used were observation and questionnaires. Techniques of data analysis done with path analysis. Results of this study are as follows: 1) computer anxiety significantly affects the TAM, 2) TAM significant part of affects the work overload, 3) computer anxiety effect is not significant to job insecurity, 4) work overload and job insecurity significant part of affects technostress vocational teachers in SMK Karanganyar, 5) directly, technostress influenced by the work overload and job insecurity by 58%, 6) effective overall contribution models is 83%.Keywords: Computer Anxiety, Technology Acceptance Model (TAM),Technostress

Abstract

The objectives of research and development were: (1) to formulate the need for entrepreneurship teaching material in Accounting Education Study Program of Teacher Training and Education Faculty (FKIP) of Palembang PGRI University; (2) to develop the entrepreneurship teaching material prototype using contextual teaching and learning; and (3) to obtain a feasible entrepreneurship teaching material with contextual teaching and learning approach to be applied to Accounting Education Study Program of FKIP of Palembang PGRI University.The research method employed research and development model simplified into three steps: preliminary study, model development, and model testing. The preliminary study applied a descriptive qualitative research by means of interview, observation and documentation as the methods of collecting data. The data validation was conducted using method triangulation. The model development step applied quantitative research in both restricted and broad trial. The model testing step applied an experimental research that compared the test result of experiment and control groups. The sample of research included the students of Mathematics Education and Accounting Education Study Programs of FKIP of Palembang PGRI University.The results of research showed: (1) the entrepreneurship learning conducted at college that should be improved through a module with contextual teaching and learning approach; (2) design of module with contextual teaching and learning approach; and (3) the effectiveness of module with contextual teaching and learning approach in improving the students’ learning outcome. Implication and recommendation: the use of module with contextual teaching and learning approach could help the students understood the entrepreneurship material because it was equipped with examples, figures, summary, exercise and case study.Keywords: Model Development, CTL, Entrepreneurship Learning, research and development design.

Abstract

Students are encouraged to become entrepreneur as a career option. By the time they graduate from their study and get their degrees, they are expected to be able to create jobs for themselves and others. Student co-operative has a role in the development and regeneration of entrepreneurship amongst students through attending some particular educations and trainings. The contribution of student co-operative in achieving the interest in entrepreneurship is influenced by the participation and the soft skills of its members. This study aimed to determine the interaction between secondary co-operation education and training, members’ participation, and members’ soft skills towards the interest in entrepreneurship. The method used in this study was ex-post facto with a quantitative descriptive approach.  The population of the study was taken from the members of Student Co-operative in Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. Study sample was divided into two groups, which were members who have already attended in education and training program with a total of 70 students collected by purposive sampling, and members who have not been attended in education and training with a total of 70 students taken in quota sampling. Data was collected through questionnaire, documentation, and interviews. This data was analyzed by using three-way ANOVA analysis 2x2x2 factorial.The result of the study showed that: 1) there was a significant difference on the interest in entrepreneurship between members who were attended in the secondary co-operation education and training and members who were not attended in the secondary co-operation education and training, 2) there was no significant difference on the interest in entrepreneurship between active and passive members’ participation, 3) there was a significant difference on the interest in entrepreneurship amongst members with high and low soft skills, 4) there was no significant interaction between secondary co-operation education and training and the members’ participation towards the interest in entrepreneurship, 5) there was a significant interaction between secondary co-operation education and training and soft skills towards the interest in entrepreneurship, 6) there was a significant interaction between members’ participation and soft skills towards the interest in entrepreneurship, 7) there was a significant interaction between secondary co-operation education and training, members’ participation and soft skills towards the interest in entrepreneurship.Keywords: education and training, interest in entrepreneurship, member participation, soft skills

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Reseach and Development menggunakan aturan linear sequential (waterfall). Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sistem informasi market basket analysis dengan metode algoritma Apriori menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP. Data yang akan digunakan pada untuk pengujian sistem ini adalah data hasil transaksi pada bulan September 2013 dari hypermarket Assalam. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendapatkan pola pembelian produk yang kemudian dapat dikembangkan menjadi strategi pemasaran, mendapatkan model tata letak produk untuk memudahkan konsumen dalam mencari produk, menghasilkan program aplikasi Market Basket Analysis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan aplikasi metode data mining market basket analysis  yang dibuat dapat digunakan untuk menampilkan informasi pola pembelian produk yang sering dilakukan oleh konsumen dalam satu keranjang belanja dan model tata letak produk sesuai dengan pola pembelian produk yang dilakukan oleh konsumen. Informasi yang ditampilkan berupa nilai support dan confidence dari hubungan antara dua barang dan tiga barang. Semakin tinggi nilai confidence dan support maka semakin kuat nilai hubungan antar atribut.Kata kunci : Market Basket Analysis, Marketing, Algoritma Apriori, Association Rule, Data Mining

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine: (1) Whether there is any influence of self-efficacy on student interest in entrepreneurship Commerce Education Program Faculty, State University of Malang, (2) Whether there is influence of entrepreneurship education on student interest in entrepreneurship Commerce Education Program Faculty, State University of Malang, and (3) Whether there is any influence of self-efficacy and entrepreneurial education together toward student interest in entrepreneurship Commerce Education Program Faculty, State University of Malang.This research is a descriptive study with a comparative approach. The population was students Prodi Commerce Education FE UM in 2013 as many as 153 students. The study sample of 61 students of department of Commerce Education FE UM has administer entrepreneurship education, taken proportionate stratified random sampling technique. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire method. Data analysis techniques performed by multiple linear regression.The results of this study are as follows: (1) The results of the t test showed that the significant value of t is 0.044. This value is smaller than 0.05. The first hypothesis states that there is a significant effect of self-efficacy on student interest in entrepreneurship proved significant. (2) The results of the t test showed that the significant value of t is 0.697. The second hypothesis states that there is a significant influence of entrepreneurship education on student interest in entrepreneurship proven positive effec, but not significant at 0.05. (3) that the F test significance value of t is 0.088. The third hypothesis states that there is a significant effect of self-efficacy and entrepreneurial education together proved to be a positive influence, but not significant at 0.05.Keywords: Entrepreneurship Education, Theory of Planned Behavior, Entrepreneurial Intention

Abstract

This study is aimed at finding out (1)  the effect of STAD and Jigsaw cooperatives learning toward economics learning achievement; (2) the effect of high and low motivations toward economics learning achievement; (3) the interaction between motivation and teaching learning, STAD and Jigsaw types toward economics learning achievement.              This study was quantitative research by using experiment method. The population of the study was all students of tenth grade of SMA Negeri 1 Keruak Lombok Timur, in the academic year 2012/2013, the sample was determined by using cluster random sampling and got 2 classes. The teaching learning model in the first experimental class used STAD of XB consisting of 36 students while in the second experimental class used Jigsaw of XF consisting of 35 students.             The techniques of collecting data were test for economics achievement, questionnaires for students’ motivation, and documentation. To analyze the hypothesis, the researcher used two-way analysis of variance with a 2x2 factorial design and the significant level was 5%.  The prerequisite test of normality and homogeneity were analyzed by using SPSS 17 software.               From the analysis, it can be concluded that: (1) there is effect of STAD and Jigsaw cooperatives learning toward economics learning achievement; (2) there is effect of high and low motivations toward economics learning achievement; (3) there is no interaction between motivation and teaching learning types STAD and Jigsaw toward economics learning achievement.Keywords: Cooperative Learning, Student Teams Achievement Divisions, Jigsaw, Motivation, Economics Achievement.
