Developing Distributed System With Service Resource Oriented Architecture

Abstract

Service Oriented Architecture is a design paradigm in software engineering with which a distributed system is built for an enterprise. This paradigm aims at providing the system as a service through a protocol in web service technology, namely Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP). However, SOA is service level agreements of webservice. For this reason, this reasearch aims at combining SOA with Resource Oriented Architecture in order to expand scalability of services. This combination creates Sevice Resource Oriented Architecture (SROA) with which a distributed system is developed that integrates services within project management software. Following this design, the software is developed according to a framework of Agile Model Driven Development which can reduce complexities of the whole process of software development.

Abstract

Tantangan ketika sebuah perusahaan akan berpindah menggunakan sistem ERP adalah adanya ketakutan untuk menyediakan infrastruktur beserta kebutuhan lainnya. Dengan menggunakan cloud computing, perusahaan tidak perlu untuk menyediakan infrastruktur, konfigurasi perangkat lunak dan pemeliharaannya, akan tetapi hanya tinggal menggunakannya langsung sebagai suatu layanan yang dapat diakses melalui berbagai media seperti komputer desktop, laptop, mobile device selama terkoneksi dalam jaringan internet. Sistem ERP  yang dibangun menerapkan prinsip multi tenant pada cloud computing. Implementasi prinsip multi tenant dilakukan dengan pendekatan basis data terpisah (separated database). Dengan prinsip ini, satu perangkat lunak, akan mengakses banyak sekali basis data, sehingga data antara satu perusahaan, dengan perusahaan lain, tidak akan saling tercampur dan lebih memiliki tingkat integritas yang tinggi. Selain itu, perangkat lunak yang dibangun menyediakan beberapa konfigurasi yang dapat digunakan apabila suatu perusahaan ternyata memiliki proses bisnis yang berbeda. Dengan penerapan sistem ini, kekhawatiran perusahaan mengenai infrastruktur dan pemeliharaan sistem dapat diatasi sehingga tujuan penerapan ERP sebagai langkah mempermudah proses bisnis perusahaan dapat tercapai.

Music fingerprinting based on bhattacharya distance for song and cover song recognition

Abstract

People often have trouble recognizing a song especially, if the song is sung by a not original artist which is called cover song. Hence, an identification system might be used to help recognize a song or to detect copyright violation. In this study, we try to recognize a song and a cover song by using the fingerprint of the song represented by features extracted from MPEG-7. The fingerprint of the song is represented by Audio Signature Type. Moreover, the fingerprint of the cover song is represented by Audio Spectrum Flatness and Audio Spectrum Projection. Furthermore, we propose a sliding algorithm and k-Nearest Neighbor (k-NN) with Bhattacharyya distance for song recognition and cover song recognition. The results of this experiment show that the proposed fingerprint technique has an accuracy of 100% for song recognition and an accuracy of 85.3% for cover song recognition.

Abstract

Full-text search and metadata-enabled search have weakness in the precision of the searched article. This research offers weighted tree similarity algorithm combined with cosine similarity method to count similarity in semantic search. In this method metadata is constructed based on the tree of labelled node, labelled and weighted branch. The structure of tree metadata is constructed based on semantic information like taxonomi, ontologi, preference, synonim, homonym and stemming. From testing result, the precision of search using weighted tree similarity algorithm is better that full-text search and metadata-enabled search.

Abstract

Salah satu penunjang untuk pengamanan jaringan listrik kapal adalah mengetahui berapa besar arus hubung singkat pada bus-bus tertentu di jaringan listrik kapal. Selama ini PT.PAL dalam hal menghitung hubung arus hubung singkat dilakukan secara manual. Untuk lebih meningkatkan efektifitas dan effisiensi kerja, maka pada penelitian ini penulis akan membuat program komputer untuk menghitung besar arus hubung singkat pada sistem distribusi listrik di kapal. Untuk ini penulis akan merancang suatu program yang terkenal dengan istilah user friendly yaitu dengan menggunakan program yang dapat menggambarkan diagram satu garis system tenaga listrik. Program ini mendukung interaksi langsung antara pemakai dan diagram satu garis Metoda yang dipakai dalam perhitungan ini adalah metoda matrik impedansi Z-bus. Dengan mengetahui besar arus hubung singkat 3 fasa maka dapat ditentukan besar breaking capacity dari peralatan pengaman. Manfaat lain yang dapat diperoleh adalah untuk menentukan setting pengaman. Abstract

Enterprise resource planning (ERP) is a business management system which integrates several domains of enterprise business processes. Among several ERP domains, inventory is one of the basic requirement domains of an enterprise. Inventory holds three important functionalities, i.e., stock request, delivery, and stock control. In this paper, we have designed inventory domain using Service-oriented Architecture (SOA) to accommodate data communication between inventory domain and other ERP domains by providing services and employed Workflow approach to automate business process in inventory domain. The implementation confirms that our design has successfully accommodated the business processes in inventory domain. In term of technology, Workflow approach is beneficial to develop inventory domain application which is responsive to sub business process changes. In addition, the usage of SOA makes the developed inventory domain application is capable to provide services to be consumed by the other ERP domains.

Fuzzy MADM Approach for Rating of Process-Based Fraud

Abstract

Process-Based Fraud (PBF) is fraud enabled by process deviations that occur in business processes. Several studies have proposed PBF detection methods; however, false decisions are still often made because of cases with low deviation. Low deviation is caused by ambiguity in determining fraud attribute values and low frequency of occurrence. This paper proposes a method of detecting PBF with low deviation in order to correctly detect fraudulent cases. Firstly, the fraudulence attributes are established, then a fuzzy approach is utilized to weigh the importance of the fraud attributes. Further, multi-attribute decision making (MADM) is employed to obtain a PBF rating according to attribute values and attribute importance weights. Finally, a decision is made whether the deviation is fraudulent or not, based on the PBF rating. Experimental validation showed that the accuracy and false discovery rate of the method were 0.92 and 0.33, respectively.

Analogy Method Development for Cost Estimation of Software Design

Abstract

The important aspect of planning and managing software development project is to estimate the cost of a project. There are several methods for estimating the cost of a software development project, and the Analogy method is a method which gives relatively better estimates. This paper shows that the modified Analogy method selects a closer project reference, estimates more accurate project effort and cost. This study enhances the cost estimate technique by including valid and complete cost parameters, therefore the estimate of a project cost is better than the result of the standard Analogy method.

Abstract

Waktu adalah sebuah konsep penting dalam pencatatan objek-objek warisan budaya dan peristiwa sejarah. Contoh konsep waktu yang sering digunakan dalam pencatatan objek-objek warisan budaya dan sejarah adalah waktu interval (time-interval) dan waktu titik (time-point). Informasi waktu disajikan dalam granularitas waktu primitif yang berbeda seperti tanggal, bulan, tahun dan abad atau bisa juga disajikan dengan hanya menyebutkan keterangan waktu tertentu seperti zaman, era, masa serta keterangan waktu lainnya yang tidak diketahui secara pasti kapan terjadinya. Salah satu cara untuk mencari kedekatan waktu dengan satuan yang beragam adalah dengan memanfaatkan ontologi. Dalam penelitian ini dibuat sebuah skema ontologi untuk pencarian relasi waktu antar entitas warisan budaya. Skema ini merupakan gabungan dari ontologi yang sudah ada yakni OWL-Time dan CIDOC-CRM. Penggabungan ontologi ter-sebut dilakukan menggunakan bahasa Ontology Web Language (OWL) dan dengan bantuan aplikasi Protégé. Berdasar-kan uji coba yang dilakukan, skema ontologi ini dapat menghasilkan fakta-fakta baru mengenai kesamaan dan kedekatan waktu dari objek-objek yang diinputkan. Sehingga relasi temporal antar objek dapat diketahui dengan tepat. Pendokumentasian relasi temporal warisan budaya dapat dijadikan salah satu sumber pembelajaran maupun penelitian terkait dengan warisan budaya. Untuk memudahkan pengujian skema ontologi beserta rule penalarannya, hasil dari pen-carian relasi temporal ini ditampilkan dalam aplikasi berbasis web.
