Promotion constitutes the most effective instrument as an effort to influences and appeal members of society to make use of firm’s services and products so that it will increase the number of clients or customers. In the frame of conducting its promotion, the firm (the bank) must understand as deep as possible about its own capability. Promotion could be conducted by means of media or increasing services to customers, namely by paying attention to customers’ pleasure in connection with their saving account

Abstract

The aims of the research were to increase the activities and learning result by using two stay two stray model and graphic media. The method of research was Classroom Action Research that consist of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The instrument of data collection used observation sheet and test. The technique of data analysis used qualitative and quantitative. The result of this research showed that implementation of two stay two stray model with graphic media can increase activities and learning result of students. This case can be seen from the average score of the activities and learning result of students given categories active and very goodTujuan penelitian untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar melalui model two stay two stray dan media grafis. Metode penelitian menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan dua siklus yang setiap siklus terdiri dari tiga kali pertemuan dengan tahapan setiap siklus, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Alat pengumpul data penelitian menggunakan lembar panduan observasi dan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model two stay two stray dengan media grafis dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai rata-rata aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan kategori aktif dan sangat baik.Kata kunci: aktivitas, hasil belajar, media grafis, two stay two stray

Abstract

The action research figured out about the effectiveness exploration of a new alternative in Think Pair Share (TPS); with Kemmis & Taggart Model, for science, Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) subject. The research cycled the TPS within listening, observing, mentality, emotionality, and motoric activity. First of all, the cycle I signified that the students have lower inquiry in mentality. It had been observed on the lower frequency of asking-giving opinion portions. Secondly, the cycle II signified that there is a not slightly difference of inquiry, however, the students indicated response more than the previous cycle. The third cycle signified a response to the executed activity. It projected students’ determination and enthusiastic in asking-giving opinion within the activity. The cycles mean score estimated 65 for the first one, increased to 74 in the second cycle, and reached 85 in the last cycle. The students’ achievement stimulated the test instruments significantly. In conclusion, the action research about the new alternative in TPS; with Kemmis & Taggart Model proves effective to SD Negeri Gampong Teungoh, Kota Langsa. It is suggested to be applied in science for elementary school subjects as one of the teaching techniques. Keywords: Think Pair Share, learning Activity, and Students’Achievements.

Abstract

Pengembangan teknologi yang cepat dapat digunakan untuk memenuhi permintaan yang meningkat untuk sebuah proyek, terutama di berbagai organisasi pemerintah umum seperti E-Government (layanan teknologi informasi berbasis elektronik yang digunakan oleh pemerintah) untuk menghadapi berbagai kendala sumber daya dan oleh karena itu harus membuat pilihan. Secara umum, dalam hal memilih antara lusinan dan ratusan alternatif untuk proyek, portofolio organisasi dan prioritasnya adalah masalah pengambilan keputusan multi-kriteria yang kompleks solusi yang membutuhkan teknik yang jelas, metode, dan definisi faktor untuk pengambilan keputusan dan prioritisasi pengambilan keputusan (decision-making). Pada studi literatur ini terdapat perumusan masalah yakni kriteria faktor model pembanding untuk model prioritisasi serta menemukan kerangka kerja dan metodologi yakni mengenai prioritisasi manajemen portfolio di bidang pemerintahan khususnya pada E-Government. Tinjauan pustaka dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik organisasi publik yang diusulkan untuk memulai penelitian tentang penerapan prioritas manajemen portofolio, serta metodologi dan praktik yang digunakan dan aspek lain yang relevan dari topik tersebut. Studi ini mengeksplorasi penggunaan dan teknik manajemen portofolio dari beberapa studi sebelumnya yang telah diuji dalam praktek dan metodologi prioritas proyek dalam layanan pemerintah umum. Hasil penelitian ini berkontribusi untuk memperkaya teori tentang teknik, metode, terutama prioritas manajemen proyek portofolio dalam kasus pemerintah.

Abstract

Purpose of this research is to know the impact of the independent variable (achieving motivation, job satisfaction, and managerial principal) toward of dependent variable (teachers’s performance). The research was conducted on SD Negeri 7 Idi East Aceh with 30 respondents. The questionnaire was selected as a research instrument. The results of the analysis of the data indicates that (1) partially, independent variables of achieving motivation have a positive impact on teachers’s performance (t = 4.86 > ttable = 2.36); (2) the independent variable (achieving motivation, job satisfaction, and managerial principal of job satisfaction also positively impact on teachers’s performance (t= 3.20 > ttable = 2.36); (3) the principal managerial independent variables take part give a positive impact on performance guru (t = 3.21 > ttable = 2.36); (4) the simultaneous, independent variables does not give a significant impact on teachers’s performance (F = 2.00 < Ftable = 2.92); and (5) were obtained the equations of the regression of Y = 7, 71a + 0, 02X1 + 0, 33X2 + 0, 26X3 it means that when there is an increase in the motivation of overachievers, the satisfaction of teachers, and the principal managerial it will automatically improve the performance of teachers.

Abstract

Educational Statistics is considered as one of the most difficult subjects, where most of students try to avoid or postpone to take it. This condition has increased the anxiety among non – mathematics’ students. SPSS is one of statistics software that assists students in analyzing data. This paper examined the non mathematics students’ anxiety after using SPSS and the SPSS’s contribution in reducing non mathematics students’ anxiety in studying statistics. The questioner and test are given to 25 non mathematics students, who are selected randomly from teacher training faculty. The finding revealed that SPSS is effective enough to help reducing the non mathematics students’ anxiety. The positive contribution of SPPS was showed on finding result, which are 23% for lower level of anxiety, 60% for the middle level of anxiety and 79% for panic level.
