Abstract

Perkembangan jaringan internet mendukung masyarakat untuk dapat mengirimkan informasi baiktext, citra dan media lainnya dengan cepat. Namun, informasi terutama citra digtal yang dikirimkan melaluiinternet sangat rentan untuk disusupi oleh hacker sehingga dapat diketahui, dimodifikasi dan diduplikasi olehorang yang tidak berhak. Oleh karena itu telah dikembangkan cabang ilmu yang mempelajari tentang cara-carapengamanan data salah satunya yaitu kriptografi. Pada penelitian ini diterapkan kombinasi struktur warnaCIELab dan pengacakan kunci dengan persamaan logistik dari Chaos sebagai cipher baru pada aplikasikriptografi citra digital. Cipher ini diterapkan pada proses enkripsi dan dekripsi. Aplikasi kriptografi citradigital untuk menerapkan cipher dibangun dengan Matlab R2010a. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telahdilakukan maka diperoleh bahwa CIELab dan Chaos dapat diterapkan sebagai cipher pada proses enkripsi dandekripsi untuk aplikasi kriptografi citra digital dengan waktu proses kurang dari 1 detik. Dengan kemungkinanrentang kunci maksimum pada citra RGB sebesar 5.2x〖10〗^33 , cipher cukup aman terhadap serangan bruteforceattack. Kualitas citra dekripsi diperoleh maksimal dengan PSNR >50dB untuk format citra digital “tiff “dan “png”.

Abstract

WiMAX technology has high data transfer speed, large access range and mobility capability. To access the WiMAX network required Customer Premise Equipment (CPE). CPE require a little dimension antenna and integrated it easily. Therefore, microstrip antenna is a good candidate for this application.  This paper, discuss design of 6 elements planar array rectangular microstrip patch antenna that can be used for CPE WiMAX application in 3.3 GHz (3.3-3.4 GHz). Microstrip antenna is designed using Aperture Coupled technique to improve the bandwidth. The design and simulation of microstrip antenna require Ansoft HFFS v.13. The simulation results show that antenna can operates in 3.3-3.4 GHz frequency. The value of the impedance bandwidth is 203.5 MHz (3.2405 to 3.444 GHz) or 6.09 % at VSWR ≤ 1.5 and gain is 7.4358 dBi. Abstract

Wireless sensor networks  (WSN)  consists of a large number of sensor nodes.  It has been pervasive in various applications including health care system, battlefield surveillance system, environment monitoring system and so on.  The main issues of WSN is about how to extend lifetime by reducing  power consumption of sensor nodes. Since  the most energy is used for transmitting and receiving packet, and replacing batteries as a main power source of sensor nodes are impossible due the location of sensor nodes that is hazardous, routing protocol become the best solution for minimize power consumption of sensor nodes. Many routing protocols have been proposed to increase lifetime of WSN. One of these protocols called LEACH (Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy). LEACH is the first clustering based routing protocol, many researcher proposed new protocols and compared it’s performance with LEACH. So, we decided to analyze LEACH using MATLAB. We found that LEACH can be more effective  if more number of nodes in networks with the right number of cluster, more initial energy and if location of base station is near from the plan. Abstract

Kebutuhan jaringan internet LTE  tidak hanya dibutuhkan oleh masyarakat perkotaan, tetapi juga masyarakat pedesaan. Kuantan Singingi adalah salah satu kabupaten yang terdapat di provinsi Riau, dimana daerah ini memiliki banyak potensi yang dapat dikembangkan, terutama pariwisata. Untuk mengembangkan potensi tersebut, Kuantan singingi membutuhkan jaringan internet dengan kualitas sinyal yang lebih baik. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan jaringan internet dengan level sinyal yang  lebih baik di Kuantan Singingi, maka pada penelitian ini telah dilakukan perancangan jaringan internet LTE di daerah Kuantan Singingi dengan menggunakan metode Coverage Dimensioning dengan jenis duplex FDD pada bandwidth 5 MHz. Perancangan dilakukan untuk perencanaan hingga 2020. Dari hasil perancangan yang telah dilakukan diperoleh bahwa Kuantan Singingi membutuhkan 54 eNodeB dengan jari-jari sel sebesar 6690 Meter. Selain itu diperoleh RSRP rata-rata -80dBm dengan  cakupan area terluas mencapai 99,5%. Kemudian service area uplink mencapai 100%  untuk modulasi 16QAM 3/5, sedangkan service area downlink mencapai 71% untuk modulasi QPSK 3/5.

Abstract

Chevron Pacific Indonesia ( CPI ) is one company that has a long establish the CATV network operation using coaxial cable system. CATV over time networks with this system experienced a slump of quality or reliability. This is certainly not desired by the CPI, due to the failure resulting in service less than the maximum. Therefore CPI change the system using fiber optic system that can boost reliability. Reliability is one of the important performance, because the results of the reliability prediction can be used to determine the option to use an instrumentation and implementation on a CATV network. Reliability parameters of a network include the availability (availability), system downtime and Mean Time to Failure (MTTF) or prediction of the lifetime of a network. By analyzing the above parameters obtained the level of system CATV network availability in the CPI, rumbai district greater than 99.99%. The level of availability (availability) is obtained in fiber optic systems have an average 99.9923655%, with the value system down time at 40.1266692 min / year, and Mean Time to Failure (MTTF) is 29.0259193 years. With the above calculation can be concluded that the fiber optic system on CATV networks in the CPI has reached the applicable standards, even much better.Keywords: Down Time System, CATV networks, coaxial cable, fiber optic reliability Engineering Markov Methode

Abstract

This research discuss the designing of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) in Engineering Faculty of Riau University. LAN of Engineering Faculty is connected through fast ethernet 100baseT cable and the backbone is connected through fiber optic. The project is designed using OPNET Modeler 14.5 Educational Version which consist of two skenario, VoIP network without router and with router. In the VoIP network with router, the network performance is measured by First-In-First-Out Queuing (FQ), Priority Queuing (PQ) and Weighted Fair Queuing (WFQ). The results showed that the value of MOS network with router (4.1 ) is more steadier than the network without router. The best performance of voice application is found in the routerand PQ network, where packet delay, jitter and Mean Opinion Score (MOS) are 330 ms, 0.9 ms, 4.1 respectively. Furthermore the best performance of video conference application is found in the same network where packet delay and jitter are 0.6 secondsand 0.2 seconds.Keywords :VoIP, network, Packet Queuing

Abstract

Internet network that has been developed at this time is a network architecture based on TCP / IP.Each layer of the TCP / IP on the Internet provides an opportunity for a security hole. One of manyways of closing the security hole is to set the Access Control List (ACL) on the Internetwork layer.ACL is used to permit or deny the package from the host towards a specific purpose. ACL consistsof rules and conditions that determine and define the process network traffic at the router whetherthe package will be passed or not. Methods ACL is created on an existing VLAN network, thusincreasing the security of the network. Results of this research is with implement an ACL can blockinternet sites that can not be accessed by the user in a network. Then by applying ACL on VLAN,the access rights of a user on the network can be segmented, thus reducing the chance of spreading"a network virus" which can make a network busy.Kata kunci : TCP/IP Security, Virtual LAN, DHCP Server, Access Control List

Abstract

The development of telecommunications today make the need for communication of data quickly and efficiently is also one of his company besar.IPv4 scale to support 32-bit addressing and developed IPv6 supports up to 128 -bit addressing and also developed a routing protocol that works padaIPv6.Routing protocol always to update the routing table, with the use of IPv6 has a huge addressing whether the effect on the quality ofnetwork.Skripsi is structured to determine the Quality of Service of the Routing Information Protocol version 1 , Routing Information Protocol version 2 , and Routing Information Protocol next-generation data networks PT . Pertamina RU II Dumai . Performed using the general network simulator 3 software and software wireshark . Analysis of the results of the design using three perangka trouter counted Quality Of Service obtained the value of total delay RIPv2 routing smaller average 11.2 % of the RIPv1 routing . While smaller RIPng routing of routing RIPv2 19.4 % and 28.5 % smaller than the total packet routing RIPv1.Nilai lossrouting smaller RIPv2 routing RIPv1.Sedangkan 15.9 % from 5.2% RIPng smaller than RIPv2 routing and 20.3 % smaller than RIPv1 routing. The total value of RIPv2 routing throughput greater than routing RIPv1 43.6 % and 63.9 % greater than the total value RIPng.Sedangkan routing throughput greater routing RIPv1 routing RIPng.Dengan 35.9 % compared to the use of six devices total RIPng router routing delay average , total packet loss , and total troghput small compared to most other routing .Keywords: Routing RIPv1, RIPv2, RIPng, IPv4, IPv6, QOS,GNS 3

Abstract

The development of information and communication technologies growing more rapidly, as well as wireless communications technology. At the same time, theneed for information is also greater with the higher mobility. Technology Long Term Evolution (LTE) is believed to be able to answer that question.LTE is a technology developed by 3GPP as the development of mobile communication technology before. In theory LTE in this thesis is to make an LTE network simulation based methods duplex Frequency Division Duplex (FDD) with a frequency of 1800 MHz in the city of Pekanbaru using software Atoll. In this paper used the method of planning coverage to support the model propagated COST-231 hata are in use by means of simulation.The simulation results show Pekanbaru require at least 99 LTE site that is covered Ratio Signal (RS) and Carrier to Interference Noise Ratio (CINR) of at least 97%. The results of the simulation throughput, customers who successfully connected to the network at abandwidth of 5 MHz amounted to 82.7% and to a frequency of 10 MHz by 86.4%, while for a frequency of 15 MHz at 86.4%, and to a frequency of 20 MHz by 66%.Keywords: LTE, Atoll, Bandwidth, Coverage

Abstract

The development of telecommunications technology based on Internet Protocol (IP) is now growing with the competitiveness of the telecommunications company to improve the quality of service to consumers. It can be obtained by increasing the quality backbone network using Multi Protocol Label Switching (MPLS). MPLS is a new technology to forward the packet to the backbone network without changing the existing network structure. The main idea is to construct a replacement MPLS paths using label switching and distribute traffic into it. This paper compare the Qualty of Service (QoS) on Non-MPLS backbone network to MPLS backbone network with OSPF routing protocol on the PT. Telecommunication Indonesia, Tbk. Witel Ridar Riau. The Software simulation using Graphical Network Simulator (GNS3) is analyze by observing QoS are delay, packet loss, throughput, and jitter with Wireshark. In this research, there are two scenarios that will be analyzed. The first scenarios analyze the customer site make deliveries to one another customer site and the second scenarios analyze two customer sites make deliveries to the customer site simultaneously. The results show that the highest delay in the first scenario is better MPLS backbone network at 0.029999 s and 0.0124 s in the second scenario than Non-MPLS backbone network. It Followed by the highest value of packet loss on the network backbone MPLS and non-MPLS are equal 0% and in the second scenario, MPLS is better 0% than non-MPLS. The Throughput has same trend with the highest value in the first scenario MPLS backbone network is better 0.0085 Mbps and 0011 Mbps in the second scenario than Non-MPLS backbone network. Meanwhile the highest jitter values in the first scenario MPLS backbone network is better too at 0.3595995 s and 1.544403 s on the second scenario than the non-MPLS.Keywords : MPLS, OSPF,GNS3, QoS, Wireshark.
