Abstract

Hydrocracking spent catalyst is a hazardous residue produced in large quantities in petroleum refining industries, it contains non metals or metals  which are important components for advanced material. Leaching is a hydrometallurgical process which is an effective technology for metal extraction from low grade metal sources with appropriate solvent, low processing cost and relatively low pollutant. The waluable metals extraction was conducted using both organic and anorganic acids. Temperature (90 ̊C) and pH (1,5, 2) were varied to observed the performance of both acid with solid ratio of 1:20 in the atmosphere condition. Sample were analice using x-ray flourescence (XRF) before exraction and after extraction. From the result, it can be conducted which citric acid process ability to extract valuable metals as high as organic acid.

Abstract

Integrating technology and literature in English language teaching has been quite useful nowadays, especially for undergraduate students. One of the technologies which promotes literature is Wattpad. The use of Wattpad in this research was to gain students’ attention to read more, find the stories they were interested in, and apply their ability to think critically by giving comments or express their feelings. The study aimed at investigating the reading comprehension achievement of the students after being taught by using short story through Wattpad. The 60 non-English students of Bina Darma University were selected. The results suggested the short story through Wattpad significantly affected the students’ reading comprehension achievement.

Abstract

Penelitian Konversi minyak biji alpukat menjadi fraksi bahan bakar cair melalui proses catalytic cracking menggunakan katalis zeolit alam aktif terimpregnasi oksida logam Cu (CuO/ZAA)  bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk bahan bakar cair setaraf fraksi biogasoline dan biodiesel. Penelitian ini telah dilakukan dengan 3 tahapan utama yaitu 1) Ekstraksi Minyak Biji Alpukat, 2) Preparasi dan Karakterisasi Katalis CuO/ZAA, 3) Catalytic Cracking Minyak Biji Alpukat dengan Katalis ZAA dan CuO/ZAA pada temperatur proses 450oC. Hasil konversi pada katalis ZAA dan katalis CuO/ZAA berturut-turut sebesar 8,39 % dan 10,32% untuk produk cair, 0,83% dan 0,99% untuk kokas dan 56,89 % dan 88,69% untuk residu. Dari analisis GC diperoleh selektivitas katalis ZAA dan CuO/ZAA berturut-turut adalah 61,70% dan 56,34% untuk fraksi bensin, 4,82% dan 10,88% untuk fraksi diesel dan 33,48% dan 32,78% untuk fraksi minyak berat. Dengan demikin disimpulkan bahwa impregnasi oksida logam CuO pada bahan pengemban zeolit sebagai katalis (CuO/ZAA) meningkatkan aktivitas katalitik katalis, namun selektivitas katalis CuO/ZAA terhadap fraksi bensin lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan katalis ZAA.Kata kunci: katalis, catalytic cracking, minyak biji alpukat, CuO/ZAA, fraksi bahan bakar

Abstract

Erosi yang terjadi setiap tahun pada tebing sungai di Desa Meunasah Buloh, Kabupaten Aceh Barat semakin parah terutama pada bagian tikungan sungai. Hal ini dikarenakan aliran sungai pada tikungan sungai lebih cepat jika dibandingkan dengan sungai yang berpenampang lurus. Bangunan perkuatan tebing sungai untuk mengurangi erosi pada Desa Meunasah Buloh direncanakan menggunakan bronjong. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan desain bronjong yang sesuai dalam mengurangi erosi tebing sungai di bagian tikungan atau belokan sungai di desa tersebut. Berdasarkan survei awal, perkebunan masyarakat yang berada di dekat tepi sungai terkikis akibat erosi, bahkan ada perumahan penduduk yang jaraknya sudah mendekati sungai. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan perencanaan bangunan pengaman tebing sungai tipe bronjong untuk mengatasi erosi. Analisa yang dilakukan meliputi analisa curah hujan rencana, debit banjir rencana, profil muka air banjir, desain ukuran bronjong, dan stabilitas bronjong. Desain dan ukuran bronjong yang sesuai adalah bronjong bentuk I kode D dengan dimensi 2,0 x 1,0 x 0,5 m dan ukuran batu sebesar 40 cm.  Hasil perhitungan stabilitas terhadap guling diperoleh FSguling sebesar 2,39 dimana nilai ini lebih besar dari 1,5. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan dapat dilihat bahwa struktur konstruksi bronjong aman terhadap gaya guling. Hasil perhitungan stabilitas bronjong terhadap gaya geser diperoleh struktur konstruksi bronjong aman terhadap geser dimana nilai FSgeser sebesar 1,87 dimana nilai ini lebih besar dari 1,5. Hasil perhitungan diperoleh tegangan maksimum lebih kecil dari tegangan izin maka daya dukung tanah untuk pondasi bronjong sebagai perkuatan tebing sungai aman. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, menunjukkan bahwa struktur desain konstruksi bronjong aman terhadap gaya guling, gaya geser, dan daya dukung tanah. Peletakan bangunan bronjong pada tebing sungai bagian tikungan/belokan sungai di Desa Meunasah Buloh  mulai cross sungai A11 – A19 sepanjang 620 m

Abstract

Quantitative Reasoning is students ability to concluded a problem solved. The purpose of this research has information about algebraic thinking processed on the student with low ability based on Quantitative Reasoning ability. Methods used qualitative descriptive with a purpose for a description of algebraic thinking processed on mathematics problem solving basic material on function with the low ability of student based on quantitative reasoning ability. This paper used algebraic ability paper test and interview transcript. The subject cluster used purposive technic with appreciation high value on report and teacher review which are known about students characteristic. The results showed that algebraic thinking processed on mathematics problem solving on the student with low ability based on quantitative reasoning ability obtained LESS category because the subject doesn’t capable used deductive reasoning on clarifying n symbol on problem and representation on arrow diagram and Cartesian diagram for the first problem test. With the result that Quantitative Reasoning subject on analyzing problems to extract and quantify essential features with deductive reasoning obtained “Less” category. The second problem test, the subject doesn’t capable used inductive reasoning on concluding highest bounce of the ball from the graphic and function table. With that result that Quantitative Reasoning subject on analyzing problems to extract and quantify essential features with inductive reasoning obtained “Less” category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan kesiapan guru kimia dalam mendukung penerapan Kurikulum 2013 ditinjau dari aspek-aspek: pelatihan, RPP, dan pembelajaran di kelas. Penelitian deskriptif ini bersifat eksploratif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan triangulasi teknik dengan subjek 13 guru kimia kelas X SMAN Palembang. Data dianalisis melalui langkah-langkah reduksi, penyajian, dan verifikasi. Kendala-kendala guru dalam penerapan Kurikulum 2013 adalah pelatihan guru, ketersediaan buku, dan fasilitas yang kurang memadai. Sedangkan di kelas, guru harus menghadapi siswa yang melebihi kapasitas ruang sehingga menghambat beberapa penerapan pendekatan saintifik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan guru belum siap dikarenakan pelatihan bersifat informasi teoritik dalam waktu yang singkat, RPP telah dikembangkan sesuai permendikbud nomor 81A, namun penerapannya tidak konsekuen dan konsisten. Direkomendasikan agar pelatihan guru dilaksanakan secara merata dan berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan kreatifitas dan profesionalitas, seperti melakukan PTK dan menerapkan teknologi multimedia dalam pembelajaran inovatif. Sarana dan prasarana sekolah perlu ditingkatkan untuk memudahkan guru melaksanakan kewajibannya sesuai tuntutan perundang-undangan dalam mendukung kesuksesan Kurikulum 2013.

Abstract

Planting tolerance education in kindergarten is still lacking, this is indicated by the child not listening to the teacher while speaking in front of the class, impatient in waiting for the queue, not sharing with friends, and lack of gratitude for the assistance given. The purpose of this study was to find out how the application of tolerance learning through the method of telling the impact of using the method of telling stories in the al-qur'an ruhama takengon kindergarten. This study uses a type of qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The results of the study show that the application of tolerance learning through the method of telling stories in al-qur'an kindergarten ruhama takengon, namely, the effort given by teachers to children to apply tolerance in daily life through habituation methods , as children accustom themselves to greeting others, patiently waiting for their turn, through the method of telling the teacher it will be easier to attract children's attention and easier to form good habits in the child.

Abstract

Abstract: The phonological system is a language system used by a society to distinguish itself from other societies. Bangka language is part of Malay cluster. This paper was written to describe Bangka language phonological system in Mentok dialect used in Pusuk based on (1) vowels, (2) consonant system, (3) diphthong, (4) distributions of vowels, consonants, and diphthongs, and (5) phonemic principle. The method used in this research was qualitative method. The data in this study was 248 basic vocabularies of Swadesh-based UnCen-SIL Wordlist. The data was collected with basic technique ?conversation technique?, followed by ?noting and recording technique?. The finding of Bangka language phonological system in Mentok dialect used in Pusuk was 9 vowels, 19 consonants, and 4 diphthongs. The distributions of vowel and consonant were incomplete. There was an allophone found in the study.  Keywords: Phonology, Phonemes, Vowels, Consonants, Diphthongs. Abstrak : Sistem fonologi adalah sistem bahasa yang digunakan oleh suatu masyarakat untuk membedakan dirinya dari masyarakat lain. Bahasa Bangka adalah bagian dari gugus Melayu. Penelitian ini ditulis untuk menggambarkan sistem fonologis bahasa Bangka dalam dialek Mentok yang digunakan di Pusuk berdasarkan pada (1) vokal, (2) sistem konsonan, (3) diftong, (4) distribusi vokal, konsonan, dan diftong, dan (5) prinsip fonemik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah 248 kosakata dasar dari UnCen-SIL Wordlist yang berbasis di Swadesh. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik dasar "teknik percakapan", diikuti oleh "teknik mencatat dan merekam". Temuan sistem fonologis bahasa Bangka dalam dialek Mentok yang digunakan di Pusuk adalah 9 vokal, 19 konsonan, dan 4 diftong. Distribusi vocal dan konsonan tidak lengkap. Ada alofon yang ditemukan dalam penelitian.   Kata kunci: Fonologi, Fonem, Vokal, Konsonan, Diftong

Abstract

In this paper, the researcher wanted to find out the factors of Amy?s mental disorder, how Amy?s character and what effect of mental disorder to the movie. The method of data analysis was descriptive, because the researcher explained and interpreted the data from the action of Amy in the movie. The books of literary theories were used to understand the theory that was relevant to this research. The approach used in this research was psychological of anxiety approach to identify the factors of Amy?s mental disorder in describing Amy?s character. The result of this analysis showed that there were three types of anxiety as the factors of Amy?s mental problems in this movie, realistic, moral, and neurotic anxiety. She experienced anxieties because of her husband that caused Amy had a mental disorder. Amy was described as an antagonist, cruel, manipulative, liar, psychopath, and antisocial. The effect of mental disorder to the movie was the story had different atmosphere and made the story more complicated.
