Abstract

 The research is preliminary study to purpose of exploration to the develop of building model of student obedience to school norm in SMA KORPRI Banjarmasin with ordering of school climate and attitude or behavior of teacher toward students. This research background is because of disobedience toward law, culture and tradition norms a happened in line across of life, so it worries of more powerful disobedience to students. The Research method is qualitative with observation, interview, and document study for data collect of technique. Research finding shows the develop of building model of student obedience base to concept about obedience and disobediece of students personal category; ordering of school climate include physical organize to give for free space to activity and expression; setting of class position not base class ordering, but orientation toward orderliness, tranquillity, respectful, responbility and example of conduct; every where be found of banners and writes give about faith, takwa, nobel morals, achievement, creative, innovative, outonomous, and discipline; sets of tools to invite for neat, clean, orderly, and gender respect of conduct. Attitude or counduct of teachers link to programmed action (action of daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly) and accidental (cooperation with local community, handle of casus and give to sanction)

Abstract

 Internalizing the value of honesty is a development of learning strategies that includes learning the value of honesty in fostering discipline and self-reliance of students on MTs Negeri Banjar Selatan . This effort to develop a learning Civics teaching materials that are integrated with the values of honesty in order to improve student learning outcomes and changing attitudes of students in learning in junior secondary school which raised self-awareness high magnitude of God and knowledge of God. The purpose of this research to know program and internalization strategy honesty value that to do by teacher of lesson Civic Education to students and implementation of honesty value that to do by students MTs Negeri Banjar Selatan. Method who used in this research is qualitative. Collection data technique used observation method in order that researcher saw in direct internalization proses honesty value by teacher, interview in order that researcher can know in direct of informant as data source, and documentation to easier researcher in collection data in a writen document or pictures as data source. The result of this research showing the program and internalization honesty value strategy by teacher carried out excellently using kinds of method and strategy, but be still less in implementationthat to do by students MTs Negeri Banjar Selatan who caused by factor area and level of perspicacity students. Based on this research , the reseacher give suggestion that the teacher have to more increase invesment honesty value to students variously and method of learning who pleasurably effective in order that honesty students level increasingly. And suggestion to school to made culture school that character until conclude students who not only smart according to academic but have moral and characters with honesty.

Abstract

 The role of teachers in implementing the character of students in school discipline is required. Because it is the duty of teachers as a profession that includes educating, teaching, and training. Teachers in the field of humanitarian tasks in the school should be able to make itself as the second parent. Teachers as tutors, teachers, educators and trainers indispensable role in educating students to behave in accordance with the values, character, norms are not only in schools but also in society. This study aims to determine the discipline of students in schools and the role of teachers in applying the discipline of character, as it also investigate the factors inhibiting and supporting teachers face in implementing the disciplined character in SMA Negeri 11 Banjarmasin. The method used in this study is a qualitative method. Data was collected through observation techniques, interviews and documentation. Analysis of the results of the study is a step-by-step analysis of the data reduction, data display and verification.The results suggest that the role of teachers in SMA Negeri 11 Banjarmasin quite a role in applying the discipline of students of all these characters as much support as the cooperation of teachers in implementing student discipline code. Although still a violation, but the discipline of students in SMA Negeri 11 Banjarmasin been categorized properly.Based on these results, it can be suggested that the students realize the importance of character and discipline that continues to build the character of the discipline not only in schools but also in the family and in society

Abstract

 The learning process of Civics in MAN 3 Marabahan does not likely achieve the expected result all this time. The students’ average grade is still under the specified minimum criteria, which is 70. Beside that, the students do not participate a lot during the learning process, and this makes their concentration down. The reason why such can happen is because the teachers dominantly apply the narrative technique in the teaching process. Thus, the learning outcome is under the average.  This research aims to: (1) find out the application of teaching model Problem Based Learning (PBL) on standard competence of Political System in Indonesia in MAN 3 Marabahan grade X-B; (2) improve the students’ participation in the class by using the teaching model PBL on standard competence of Political System in Indonesia in MAN 3 Marabahan grade X-B; (3) improve the learning outcome by using the teaching model PBL on standard competence of Political System in Indonesia in MAN 3 Marabahan grade X-B.The data collecting technique conducted in this research are observation, documentation, and achievement test which is administered through several cycles: Cycle I and Cycle II.The result of the research shows that : (1) the teacher’s teaching process is improved by the application of the teaching model PBL. On Cycle I, the teaching process is qualified: Fair, that is 3,2%. On Cycle II, it is even more improved into 4,8%; (2) the students’ participation during the class is improved from 3,1% on Cycle I to 4,5% & on Cycle II, with the qualification: Good (Participation); and (3) the learning process by using the teaching model Problem Based Learning on standard competence of Political System in Indonesia in MAN 3 Marabahan grade X-B improves the learning outcomes or students’ classical learning results very siginificantly to achieving the specified criteria, that is from 57,14% on Cycle I to 92,85% on Cycle II.

Abstract

Each school would have a rule each including at SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Banjarmasin, Regulations made is expected to be obeyed by all citizens sekolah.Namun realities in SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Banjarmasin, not all students abide by the rules. This study aimed to reveal the students´ compliance, internal factors and external compliance underlying class X in implementing school rules at SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Banjarmasin. The method in this study used a qualitative research approach.The research site is at SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Banjarmasin.Source of data used primary and secondary data, informants selected by purposive sampling.Instrument is the researcher´s own research using interview guides, booklets, camera as a documentation tool.Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation.Technical analysis of the data using an interactive model of analysis steps are data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verification.To test the validity of the data, use of data and triangulation credibility test. These results indicate that adherence to class X in implementing school rules at SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Banjarmasin has been implemented, although there is a small portion of students who break the rules like not wearing a uniform by the rules or do not wear a full attribute flag during the ceremony, and so forth.Internal factors that lie behind them is the health of students, following the inability of the child in the learning and high intellectual ability has also contributed in the implementation of school rules.While external factors are the family atmosphere the students themselves, the way parents instill discipline, parental guidance, state supported schools and neighborhood students. Advice from the research results, the party for the SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Banjarmasin and teachers to more effectively implemented school rules should be stricter sanctions and coaching for students who melanggar.Bagi students, should further abide by the school rules so that learning activities as expected.

Abstract

The fact that are seen in the activity of class XII students IS-2 SMA PGRI 7 Banjarmasin in teaching Civics are still very low which ultimately have an impact on student achievement were not optimal. It can be proved by the value of class XII student achievement IS-2 SMA PGRI 7 Banjarmasin on the material as ideology Pancasila Open only reached an average of 5.0 below 7.0 as determined mastery learning curriculum. The research objective is: (1) to improve student learning outcomes by using cooperative learning picture and picture type (2) to achieve those goals and then executed action research and meetings with several cycles. Data collection techniques used are observation, questionnaires, documentation, and test learning outcomes through several cycles, the cycle I and cycle II The results of this study indicate (1) cooperative learning type picture and picture on the material as ideology Pancasila Open can improve student achievement, from 47.6% in the classical mastery in the first cycle to 95.2% in the classical mastery on the second cycle. (2) Participation of students in the teaching and learning that is 18.5% in the first cycle to 23.5% in the second cycle, the first cycle of learning and teachers are 59% and then on the second cycle teachers learning to 80%. (3) The results of students´ response to learning that the teacher presented showed that students liked and highly motivated with cooperative learning type of picture and picture. Based on the above results, it is recommended as follows: (1) to the students, it is recommended to follow the active learning in the classroom, (2) To the Civics teacher, it is advisable to always conduct reforms in teaching and learning, (3) To SMA PGRI 7 Banjarmasin, it is suggested that in management and school policy measures such as the use of instructional media, (4) To the Department of Education and Culture, it is expected that the results of this study useful as feedback (feed back) in response to the problems of the current study, (5) To Prodi PPKN, may be able to add in a library pembendaharaan PPKN Prodi, (6) To the researchers, may be a provision in educating future.

Abstract

Globalization has a negative impact on many lives, one as a result of globalization in this life is the lack of even changing moral values ​​in children and adolescents in particular, have no discipline in both time and clean, have an attitude that is less respect for elders. In this case the teacher´s role and attention is needed in the cultivation of the values ​​of nationalism in students. The values ​​of nationalism so to shape the future generation who have moral values, morals and good ethics. This study aims to investigate the implementation of planting the values ​​of nationalism carried Civics teacher on students, factors that affect investment values ​​of nationalism and to know Civics teacher efforts to overcome obstacles planting the values ​​of nationalism in students. The method used in this study is a qualitative method. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Analysis of the results of the study is a step analysis with data reduction, data display and verification. The results showed that the cultivation of the values ​​of nationalism in students held at SMK Negeri 1 Banjarmasin using either discipline planting time and clean, instilling an attitude of tolerance and respect for older people as well as others, in the presence of all the rules of the school discipline can runs fine without exception accompanied by sanctions or awarding points infraction for a violation, as well as to train the attitude or behavior of students who are moral and ethical. Based on these results, so that the teacher can disaran Civics intensified again in the cultivation of the values ​​of nationalism to the students about the discipline of time and clean. It is recommended that schools create a school culture that characterized so as to make students who are not only smart academically but also have a moral, ethical and noble spirit.
