Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa pada materi Sistem Persamaan Linear Dua Variabel (SPLDV). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2017/2018 di Pekanbaru. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP IT Dar Al-Ma’arif Pekanbaru dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 28 orang siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa soal tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah desain penelitian kualitatif. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwasanya kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa SMP pada materi SPLDV masih rendah terutama dalam mengaplikasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Masalah penelitian ini ini berlangsung dari bidang kenyataan bahwa umumnya siswa pada akhir suatu daerah dan ruang masalah geometri analitik yang menghafal pola atau struktur dari pemecahan tersebut , tidak melakukan dengan struktur berpikir untuk memecahkan masalah . Dampak dari cara yang siswa tidak memiliki kemampuan matematika yang nyata karena tahu melakukan matematika . Di sisi lain , kemampuan penting bagi siswa karena selain untuk mereka tetapi untuk mereka moda angkutan juga sebagai kekuatan pendidik . Upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan matematika , saya mencoba dengan menerapkan pembelajaran generatif pada jenis TPS dalam pengaturan koperasi . Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas , dengan subjek adalah 2.011 siswa yang mengikuti daerah dan ruang kuliah geometri analitik . Objek penelitian ini adalah kemampuan berpikir logika dan pemecahan masalah . Penelitian ini termasuk dalam dua siklus , jadi untuk melihat dampak dari perbaikan pembelajaran tidak dengan membandingkan hasil dari siklus I dan siklus II . Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa ditemukan peningkatan mahasiswa kemampuan berpikir logika dan pemecahan masalah setelah mengikuti pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research is a classroom actionresearch aims to improve and enhancethe learning outcomes math. Implementation of the research done in class IIIASDN 008 Salo Kecamatan Salo, were 22 students the first semester of 2012. Theresearch was conducted by two cycles, each cycle performed three learningsessions and one tests. Quantitative data obtained through testing for learningoutcomes and qualitativedata abaut the activities of teachers and students throughobservation sheet. Quantitative analysis of the result of the analysis showed thatthe average score of the class IIIA SDN 008 Salo Kecamatan Salo has increased.Quantitative an increase in motivation, interests, and activities of students andteachers in learning of operation of fraction number math with type cooperativelearning STAD. Based on the results of this study concluded that with theimplementation of cooperative learning model type STAD can improve studentlearning outcomes math class IIIA SDN 008 Salo Kecamatan Salo.Key word: learning outcomes, learning cooperative type STAD.

Abstract

Penelitian ini tentang peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa SMA melaluiPembelajaran Generatif di Kawasan Perkebunan Sagu (Metroxylon sp) Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti,T.A 2014/2015 semester ganjil pada topik sistem persamaan linear dua dan tiga variabel.Tujuan penelitianuntuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis (KKM) siswa SMA melalui PG.Penentuan lokasi dan sampel sekolah secara pourposive sampling yaitu di tiga kecamatan: TebingTinggi (produksi sagu rendah) SMAN-1 Selat Panjang; Merbau (produksi sagu sedang) SMAN-1Merbau dan Tebing Tinggi Timur (produksi sagu tinggi) SMAN-4 Sei Tohor. Pada sampel kelas PKVdanPG, dilakukan pretes dan postes. Pengumpulan data digunakan perangkat pembelajaran: RPP,LAS, media dan silabus; instrumen: tes KKM, lembar aktivitas (guru, siswa). Data dianalisis menggunakanuji Mann Whitney, t, anava dua jalur melalui program SPSS 17.Hasil menunjukkan: pencapaian KKMsiswa melalui PG > PKV untuk setiap kawasan penelitian (tinggi: 7,67> 5,82; sedang:8,43> 6,04;rendah: 9,52 > 6,65). Peningkatan KKM siswa melaluiPG >PKV ( tinggi: 0,58 > 0,43; sedang: 0,64> 0,44; rendah: 0,72 > 0,48). Tidak ada pengaruh interaksi yang signifikan antara pembelajaran dankawasan perkebunan sagu terhadap peningkatan KKM siswa. PG nyata meningkatkan KKM siswa(Sig.1-tailed= 0,00 < 0,05).Kata Kunci: Peningkatan, kemampuan komunikasi matematis, pembelajaran generatif, kawasansagu,Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti.

Abstract

Abstract: The research was classroom action research that aims to improve learning process and mathematics learning outcomes with applied the cooperative learning type of think pair square (TPS). The subject of the research is students of class VIII5 SMP Negeri 11 Pekanbaru in the second semester academic years 2014/2015. There are 38 students in the class, consist of 17 boys and 21 girls who have heterogeneous academic ability. The research are two cycles, each a cycle has four stages, that are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Each end of the cycle of daily tests carried out. Data collected through observation and tests in the form of daily tests. Data analysis was performed with narrative descriptive analysis and descriptive statistical analysis. Results of this research showed that the teacher’s activities and students have done well after doing the action. Most of students were excited and active in learning process. Such as while they were doing the steps of learning, presenting students’ worksheet or questions, responding the friend’s presentation and giving the conclusion of learning. The action is successful if the number of students who achieve a score of minimum mastery criteria increase in daily tests I and II. The number of students who achieve a score of minimum mastery criteria on basic, daily test I (first cycle) and daily test II (second cycle) are respectively 36.8%, 42.1%, and 71.05%. Results of this research indicates that the cooperative learning structural approach type of think pair square can improve learning process and students mathematics learning outcomes math class VIII5 SMP Negeri 11 Pekanbaru in the second semester academic years 2014/2015.Key words: Mathematics learning outcome, Cooperative learning, Think Pair Square, Class action research

Abstract

Abstract: This research is a class action research that aims to improve the learning process and to increase the student’s mathematics learning outcomes by applying learning cycle “6E”. The subjects of this research are the student of class XI Science I MAN 1 Pekanbaru at first semester of academic years 2015/2016, which amounts to 31 students consist of 13 male and 18 female students with the heterogenous level. This research consists of two cycles, each cycle consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The instruments of data collection in this research were observation sheets and students Mathematic tests. The data which collected were analyzed with descriptive analyzed statistically. The action is successful if the scores of teacher’s activities and student’s activities increase in every meeting, improve students’ math achievemsent. From analyzed of teacher and students activity in the learning process showed an improvement of learning process prior to the action on the first and second cycle. The result of this research showed an increasing number of students’ math achievement from the basic score 29 % to 54,8 % on the first daily test and 64,5 % on the second daily test. Based on the result of this research can be concluded that the implentation learning cycle “6E” models can improve students’ math achievemsent at class XI Science I MAN 1 Pekanbaru at first semester of academic years 2015/2016.Key words: Students’ Math Achievement, Learning Cycle “6E”

Abstract

Abstract: This research based on the students’mathematics achievement at class VIII4 Junior High School Islam As-Shofa who haven’t reached passing grade on main topic about Phytagoras. One of the factors to improve students’mathematics achievement is improve learning process, so reacherch try to improve the process by applying Contextual Teaching and Learning on cooperative learning model of Two Stay Two Stray.The research is classroom action research. This aims research to increase learning process and students’ math achievement at class VIII4 Junior High School Islam As-Shofa through the implentation Contextual Teaching and Learning in cooperative learning Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS).The subject of the research are 24 students from class VIII4 Junior High School Islam As-Shofa with the heterogenous level. Instrument to collect the data are observation, attitude assessment sheet, skill assessment sheet and mathematics achivement test. The observation data analyzed by using descriptive and qualitative,and for students’test by using descriptiveand quantitative. The qualitative analysis showed an improvement of learning process prior to action to the first cycle and second cycle. The results of this research showed an increase in students achievement for attitude competence from the based-score with the percentage 41,67% to 58,30% on the first cycle and 87,50% on the second cycle. For knowledge competence showed an increase from the based-score with the percentage 29,17% to 37,50% on the first cycle and 70,83% on the second cycle. And for skills competence showed an increase from the based-score with the percentage 12,50% to 37,50% on the first cycle and 70,83% on the second cycle. Based on the finding can be concluded that the implentation of Contextual Teaching and Learning in cooperative learning Two Stay Two Stray could improve students’ mathematics achievement at class VIII4 Junior High School Islam As-Shofa in the second semester academic years2014/2015.Key Word : Students’ Mathematics Achievement, Contextual Teaching and Learning, Cooperative Learning Two Stay Two Stray, Classroom Action Research.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is a class action research that aims to improve thelearning process and to improve the student’s mathematical problem solving ability byapplying Problem Based Learning (PBL). The subjects of this research are the studentof class X2 Senior High School 1 Tanah merah at first semester of academic years2015/2016, which amounts to 29 students. This research consists of two cycles, eachcycle consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection.Data collected through observation and student’s mathematical problem solving abilitytest. Data analysis is done by observation data analysis and student’s mathematicalproblem solving ability data analysis. The action is successful if the scores of teacher’sactivities and student’s activities increase in every meeting, improve the student’smathematical problem solving ability every cycle and improve the classical’smathematical problem solving ability. The result of observation show teacher andstudents activities are improve better than before in every meeting. Based on dataanalisys of student’s mathematical problem solving ability test show the average N-gainof student’s mathematical problem solving ability in first cycle has improve 0,26, itsmean the student’s mathematical problem solving ability in low classification and insecond cycle the average N-gain of student’s mathematical problem solving ability hasimprove 0,39, its mean the student’s mathematical problem solving ability in mediumclassification. The average score of classical’s mathematical problem solving abilityhas improve 31,46 in first cycle than beginning test and the average score of classical’smathematical problem solving ability has improve 6,15 in second cycle than first cycle.The result of this research showed that Problem Based Learning improve the learningprocess and increase the the student’s mathematical problem solving ability of class X2Senior High School 1 Tanah merah at first semester of academic years 2015/2016.Keywords: Student’s mathematical problem solving ability, Problem Based Learning

Abstract

Abstract: This research is a pre-experimental research with the static groupcomparison study design, that aims to determine whether the application of problemsolvingstrategy in mathematics learning positively affect on mathematical problemsolving ability of students of class VIII SMP Al-Azhar Syifa Budi Pekanbaru school year2015/2016. This research involved experimental and control classes that consists of 24students and 20 students. The test score of students’s mathematical problem solvingability is the data that used to test hypothesis of the research. Based on the test score,obtained the average value of mathematical problem solving ability of students inexperimental class was 3,40 and the average value of mathematical problem solvingability of students in control class was 2,16. From the Mann-Withney test, obtained thesignificance is 0,001 (less than ߙ = 0,05), it is mean that ܪ଴ has rejected and ܪଵ hasaccepted. The average value of test mathematical problem solving ability of students inexperimental class is higher than the average value of test mathematical problemsolving ability of students in control class, it can be conclude that the application ofproblem-solving strategy in mathematics learning positively affects the mathematicalproblem solving ability of students of class VIII SMP Al-Azhar Syifa Budi Pekanbaruschool year 2015/2016.Keywords: Problem-Solving Strategy, Mathematical Problem Solving Ability, Pre-experimentalResearch2
