Abstract

Physical Chemistry 5 is a main and diffi cult course for students because of itsrelation to microsspic properties and abstract with the result that the visualization isnecessity. Therefore, the appealing learning that can manure the students’ creativenessand innovation and motivate students to be entrepreneurs is necessity. Such learning is alearning using chemo-entrepreneurship (CEP) approach. Lesson study activity is potentialin learning community and collaboration development effectively. Therefore, the learning ofPhysical Chemistry 5 using CEP approach through lesson study activity is necessity. Thisresearch was aimed to improve the students’ achievement on Physical Chemistry 5 lectureusing CEP approach through lesson study activity. This research was conducted by quasiexperiment method involving students on seventh semester of Chemistry Programme assubject. Lesson study activity was conducted by three stages i.e. planning, doing, andrefl ecting. The instrument of research included the achievement test, observation sheets,and questionnaire sheets. The results showed that the achievement of experimental groupwas higher than of controlled group. The learning completeness of experimental group washigher than of controlled group. It was shown that this learning can improve students’ life skill. Key words: achievement, chemo-entrepreneurship, lesson study

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe CIRC dengan evaluasi pada produk berbasis Chemo-Entrepreneurship pada materi sistem koloid dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik dan apakah model tersebut efektif diterapkan. Populasi penelitian ini adalah kelas XI IPA suatu sekolah menengah atas di Magelang tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI IPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol, teknik sampling dilakukan dengan subjek sampel. Rata-rata hasil belajar pada kelas eksperimen 79,28 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 71,10. Uji ketuntasan belajar menunjukan bahwa kelas eksperimen telah mencapai ketuntasan belajar (baik individual maupun klasikal) sedangkan kelas kontrol belum mencapai ketuntasan klasikal. Hasil dari uji perbedaan rata-rata pada dua kelas menunjukan adanya perbedaan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Nilai t-hitung hasil posttest menunjukan 3,948 sementara pada t-kritis 1,998. Uji pada perbedaan rata-rata dua kelas menunjukan terdapat perbedaan rata-rata antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Uji perbedaan rata-rata satu pihak (pihak kanan) menunjukan bahwa nilai t-hitung adalah 3,95, sementara t-kritis adalah 1,998 sehingga bisa disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar peserta didik kelas eksperimen lebih baik dibandingkan kelas kontrol. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the type of cooperative learning model CIRC with the evaluation based products Chemo-Entrepreneurship on the material colloidal systems can improve student learning outcomes and whether the model is effectively applied. The study population was a class XI IPA a high school in Magelang academic year 2013/2014. Samples in this research is class XI IPA 1 as an experimental class and class XI IPA 2 as the control class, sampling techniques performed with the subject sample. The average learning outcomes in experimental class and control class 79.28 for 71.10. Test completeness study showed that the experimental class have achieved mastery learning (either individually or classical) while the control group had not reached the classical completeness. Results of the test the average difference in the two classes shows the difference between the experimental class and control class. Value t-test results showed 3.948 posttest while on tcritical 1,998. Test on the difference in average there are two classes showed an average difference between the experimental class and control class. Test average difference one side (right side) shows that the value of t-test was 3.95, while the t-critical was 1,998 so it can be concluded that the results of the experimental class students learn better than the control class.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition based Contextual Teaching and Learning. This research population is XI Sciences of senior high school 1 brebes 2011/2012. First data analysis showed that the population data are normally distributed and homogeneous, so the sampling technique which used is cluster random sampling. From the result of the draws, XI Science-1 as an experiment class (Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition Based contextual Teaching and Learning) and XI Science-5 as a control class (conventional learning). Final data analysis showed that learning product both classes are normally distributed and have equal variances. In the test of correlation, obtained 0,732 of rb value, which showed a height correlation, so Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition Based Contextual Teaching and Learning has height effect on student learning product in colloids. This learning contributes to student learning product=54%. The learning product of experiment and control class had reached completeness. classical learning completeness which achieved by experiment and control class are respectively 95% and 87,5%. The average value of affective and psychomotor in experimental class is better than the control class. Based on this research, we can conclude that Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition based Contextual Teaching and Learning assisted has a positive effect on learning product in senior high school 1 brebes.
