Abstract

The research aim to develop student worksheet based science process skills on factors affecting reaction rate topic. This research use research and development (R & D) method according to Sugiyono (2008).  But in this research, the steps are only done until main product revision. This research have three steps. The 1st step is needs analysis that consist of literature study and field study. The 2nd step is planning and development that consist of planning preliminary product, develop preliminary product, validation, and preliminary product revision. The 3thstep is preliminary field test and main product revision. The results of this research are student worksheet based science process skills on factors affecting reaction rate topic have very good quality for contents suitability aspect with score 98,46%; for readability aspect according to teacher is 98,00% & 87,88% according to students; for beauty aspect according to teacher is 98,46% & 86,52% according to students.Key words :  student worksheet, science process skills, factors affecting reaction rate topic.

Abstract

Abstract : This research is aimed to find out the students’ perception on the use of L1 in English classes by teachers and students at SMAN 2 Pekanbaru in the academic year 2017/2018. This is a survey research. The participants answered questions administered through questionnaire which consisted of 34 questions. The population of this research is 772 students of SMAN 2 Pekanbaru. The sample is 34 students of X IPS 3 class, 34 students of XI IPS 3 class, and 38 students of XII MIPA 1 class. The total is 106 students as the sample. The data of this research were collected by giving questionnaire to the students which then was measured on a Likert scale on scale of 1-5. The results of data analysis showed that the teacher often use English during class and still include Bahasa Indonesia as L1 in a limited portion. The students agree about the inclusion of L1 by teachers when necessary. The students also agree if they are allowed to use Bahasa Indonesia during class. The inclusion of L1 help the students learn more motivated and enjoyable. It was found that there is an improvement in the students’ English skill when English is the language mostly used during class. The students agree that the more they practice using English, the more their English improved.Keywords: Perception, Survey Research, L1

Abstract

The high level of corruption in the Indonesian government sector makes good governance difficult to achieve. Accountability and transparency is a must in the effort to realize good governance. The efforts to reduce the level of corruption in Indonesia is the awareness of civil servants to disclose the fraud in the workplace agencies. This research uses qualitative methods with the aim to describe the implementation of accountability and transparency of local government financial reporting as well as identify potential whistleblowing for misuse of funds. This research uses primary data in the form of in-depth interviews with informants and secondary data in the form of financial statements of Salatiga local government that has been audited by BPK. The resource persons in this research are civil servants domiciled in Salatiga City and work in SKPD Salatiga City in the finance department of each SKPD. The results of this research indicate that Salatiga City Government has been accountable and transparent in local government financial reporting as well as there is no potential whistleblowing for misuse of funds. The results of this research can be used as an evaluation material for government agencies to establish a good whistleblowing mechanism so that civil servants working in government agencies are more willing to disclose the fraud.
