Abstract

In this article we discuss several methods for predicting nickel ore content inside the soil under a given area/region. The prediction is the main objective of the exploration activity which is very important for conducting the exploitation activity from economic point of view. The prediction methods are based on the data obtained from the drilling activity at several ‘points’. The data yields information on the nickel density at those points. Nickel density over the region is approximated (with an approximate function) by applying interpolation and/or extrapolation based on the data from those points. The nickel content is predicted by applying integral of the approximate function over the given region

Abstract

Radio frequency identification (RFID) is a tool for identifying objects using radio waves. RFID reader consists of a reader and a tag as the object is read. This technology is efficiently used in the manual library UNTAD as library card for its use without having direct contact (Contacless). Results of identification RFID reader in the form of a unique series of numbers. RFID reader is connected directly to a PC via a USB cable (Universal Serial Bus), so that the identification appear on the LCD monitor screen. The identification result is managed by the application that is made from Visual Basic 6 with GUI (grapichal User Interface) that simple connected in Acess 2007 database so that the library data is stored properly. Microcontroller ATMega8535 serves as a voice recorder module controller ISD 1820 remind visitors to fill out the list of visitors of the PIR sensor detection results when there are visitors who come in and as recipients visitor data contained in the application is then displayed on the LCD 2x16. From the combination of these technologies can overcome UNTAD library system is still manual because it produces a rapid and accurate data.

Abstract

Traffic Police Unit resorts Kampar is an agency of the Traffic Police organizations which are directly under the Chief of Police located in the center of the city Bangkinang responsible for Kampar Riau either a traffic violation or accident lintas. Based on data from Laka Police Kampar the number of accidents in Bangkinang City in 2015 amounted to 24 accidents in which learners more of these casualties are 12 casualties, and for a traffic violation in terms of profession, high school students is quite alarming from one month to a year 2015 is a 712 violations in which the position of the highest student ranks first in the list of violations. With the above problems Traffic Police Kampar conduct socialization activities traffic regulations with the intent and purpose of that public road users especially students know, understand and believe the traffic police as protectors and servants of the people in the activities of Community Education of traffic, traffic enforcement, assessment of traffic problems, registration and identification of motor vehicle and the driver, for the achievement of security, order and smooth traffic. The method used in this research is quantitative method. Collecting data using questionnaires, and documentation. To determine the influence of the socialization of traffic regulations on the attitudes of high school students, the authors use simple linear regression analysis. Variabel X in this study is an activity socializing traffic regulations, while variable Y is the attitude of high school students in City Bangkinang. Number of samples in this study were 92 students by using the sampling technique is Taro Yamane. data processing program tested using Statistical Product And Service Solution (SPSS) Windows version 20. The results showed the influence of the socialization of traffic regulations on the attitudes of high school students in City Bangkinang. This is based on data analysis using simple linear regression is Y = 6.009 +, 565 X. Numbers constant (a) of 6.009 and a coefficient of socialization variables, t 7.790 565 with greater when compared with t table 1, 987 and a significance level , 000 is smaller than α = 0.05. Therefore H1 accepted and H0 is rejected because there is significant influence between socialization activities regulation "traffic" with the attitude of high school students in City Bangkinang. Abstract

Research on the acute toxicity test of methanol extracts of keji beling leaves (Strobilanthes crispus BI.), stems and flowers of jarak tintir (Jatropha multifida L.) against Artemia salina Leach larvae using Brine Shrimp Lethality Test method (BSLT) had been carried out. The purpose of this study was to determine the potency of acute toxicity of methanol extract which were shown by LC50 value. In this research, the sample methanol were obtained from a previous research. Acute toxicity tests was conducted to determine the LC50 values of plant extracts according to the method of Brine Shrimp Lethality Test. Results of the research showed methanol extract of keji beling leaves were not toxic with LC50 value 4427,95 μg/mL, meanwhile stems and flowers of jarak tintir had low toxicity with LC50 225,09 and 253,26 μg/mL, respectively. The value of LC50 influenced by the content of secondary metabolites in plants.Keywords : Acute toxicity test, Brine Shrimp Lethality Test, LC50, J. multifida, S. crispus

Abstract

The effect of Cu2+ and Mg2+ metal ions on the antioxidant activity of anthocyanins of ethanol extract from the red dragon skin fruit (Hylocereus polyrhizus) has been done. Anthocyanin pigments from ethanol extract the red dragon skin fruit, content and antioxidant activity of anthocyanins from the red dragon fruit skin with ethanol solvent, and the effect of Cu2+ and Mg2+ metal ions on the antioxidant activity of anthocyanins. Identification of anthocyanin was done by identification of color test, using spectrophotometer analysis of UV-Vis and FTIR. The anthocyanin content was determined using pH difference method, and determined effect of metal ions extract was done by adding 50 ppm, 100 ppm, and 150 ppm of metal ions Cu2+ and Mg2+ into the anthocyanin extract that was been acidified by HCl , using spectrophotometer analysis of FTIR. Antioxidant activity test using DPPH method. The results show that ethanol extracts the red dragon anthocyanin by content is 12.5241 mg / L and antioxidant activity (IC50) is 0.478 μg / mL and with addition of2+ and Mg2+ metal ions can be increased antioxidant activity (IC50) of anthocyanins to be 0.2259 μg / mL for Cu2+ at concentration 50 ppm and 0.3351 μg / mL for Mg2+ at concentration 50 ppm.Keywords: The red dragon skin fruit, anthocyanin, Cu2+, Mg2+, antioxidant.
