Abstract

Abstract Study of dispute management related to irrigation water use for agriculture and fishery at Kelingi irrigation area was conducted to determine the irrigation water management solution which is mutually beneficial between rice production and fish production of swift water pond. Kelingi Irrigation Area which is formerly planned for rice cultivation was built during the Dutch colonial era. Former water management pattern and its instruments were incapable to balance the rapid development found in the field which results in interest dispute among the water users. The study methods were consisted of PRA, interview by using questioner aids, and discussion/round table. Dispute management of irrigation water use for agriculture and fishery can be approached by using collaboration system in which all parties gain the advantage because this system is a truly and permanent solution. The recommendations from this study were as follows: 1) irrigation system improvement and increased service capability of the existing irrigation network, 2) balance planting pattern regulation and rice planting schedule as well as cultivation of fish and swift water pond fish at irrigation area level which was decided by using Decree Letter of Governor because this area was classified as district/city crossed irrigation, 3) farmers group empowerment and P3A/GP3A by related councils and institutions, 4) government provision for communication and collaboration between farmers and owner of swift water fish pond through justice and strict approaches in applying the existed regulations, 5) issuing of Local Irrigation Regulation at Province and District/City levels which consisted of swift water fish pond and irrigation water allotments, and 6) law enforcement in permit, supervision and action for every transgression by water users based on Local Regulation and the existed legislation. Abstract

Theobjective of this research was to analyze burning and heating on the stove ofjatropha-seeds with various of diameters and sarangan holes, in order to achieve the higher efficiency of the stoveof jatropha-seeds.  Thisresearch has been conducted in the machinery and workshop laboratory of TheAgricultural Engineering Program, The Agricultural Technology Department,Agriculture Faculty, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya from April 2011 to October2011.  Themethod which is used in this research is block randomized design factorialmethod which consist of two treatment factors and each treatment factor consistof two stages and each treatment combination is repeated three times. The firsttreatment with two stages is the diameter of the sarangan holes (3 mm and 4mm), the second treatment with two stages is the amount of the sarangan holesper cm2 (2 pieces/cm2 and 4 pieces/cm2).  The parameter observed include the mainparameters and the supporting parameter. The main parameter is the fuel combustion rate, flame height ,efficiencyof water heating, the rate of water heating, and the supporting parameter includingflame temperature, fuel efficiency, burning time of the jatropha fuels, waterheating time, the difference temperature on the components of the stove.  The research result showed the best that sarangancontained on D1X1 with a combination of diameter (3 mm)and the amount of sarangan holes per-cm2 (2 pieces/cm2)with 0,69 kg/jam of combustion rate, 30 cm of flame height, the rate of waterheating 0,1245kkal/s, and the efficiency of waterheating 8,86 %. Keywords :The jatropha-seeds stove, Jatropha-seed fuels, and Sarangan of the jatropha-seedsstove

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginventarisasi partisipasi masyarakat dalam kinerja sistem drainase Sungai Bendung dan mendapatkan skenario pengelolaan sistem drainase dengan partisipasi masyarakat untuk mencapai sistem drainase berkelanjutan.Waktu penelitian dilakukan selama 4 (empat) bulan, yaitu mulai bulan Juni 2014 hingga bulan September 2014. Penelitian ini meliputi survey lapangan, pengumpulan data primer dan data sekunder. Metode pengumpulan data primer berupa data partisipasi masyarakat didapat dengan cara wawancara dan kuisioner kepada warga masyarakat penghuni Perumahan Kelurahan Sekip Jaya, 20 Ilir, dan 9 Ilir, sedangkan data sekunder berupa data jumlah penduduk kelurahan dan data kriteria penilaian PKPD-PU 2013. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa partisipasi masyarakat dalam menunjang kinerja sistem drainaseSungai Bendung sangat baik. Hal ini terlihat dari pencapaian indikator Kriteria Penilaian PKPD-PU Tahun 2013 Untuk mendukung agar sistem drainase Sungai Bendung memenuhi kriteria penilaian tersebut, maka upaya yang dilakukan yaitu menaati kebijakan tentang larangan membuang sampah, gotong royong, dan pemberian aspirasi berupa saran serta skenario pengelolaan sistem drainase Sungai Bendung dengan partisipasi masyarakat untuk mencapai drainase berkelanjutan yaitu berbentuk partisipasi dana dan tenaga kerja yang berasal dari pemerintah maupun masyarakat. Kata Kunci : Partisipasi masyarakat, skenario partisipasi, sistem drainase.

Abstract

 Untuk mengantisipasi pesatnya peningkatan alih-fungsi lahan sawah ke lahan industri non-pangan, telah dilakukan penelitian penanaman padi dalam polibag dengan irigasi dan dikombinasikan dengan metode SRI (system of rice intensification).  Percobaan dilakukan dengan perlakuan irigasi irigasi tetes, penyiraman dan tanpa penyiraman.  Besarnya pemberian air irigasi diberikan sesuai dengan kebutuhan air tanaman (ETp) yang diprediksi menggunakan model Blaney-Creadle. Pengamatan dilakukan di lahan padi sawah dan padi ladang. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa dari segi pertumbuhan tanaman, produktivitas per-rumpun tanaman dan berat biji padi tidak ada bperbedaan nyata, baik  antara tanaman yang tumbuh di ladang maupun di sawah,  sehingga disimpulkan budidaya padi dapat dilakukan di dalam polibag sebagai solusi alternatif ketika produksi padi di lahan sawah sudah tidak memungkinkan lagi. Kata kunci : Padi, Polibeg, Irigasi tetes, Produksi

Abstract

In the interests of regional development, regional development and improvement of the economy has made many changes and conversion of areas in South Sumatra. Over this function especially for the area as the capital of Palembang, South Sumatra Province occur in lowland areas, especially wetlands. Regions that experienced the greatest change in Palembang, namely in the area of Jakabaring. Jakabaring area converted into international sports facilities Jakabaring Sport Center, athlete housing, shops, offices, recreation and pemukimanan population such as housing Ogan Permata Indah (OPI). This marsh land conversion has consequences for water infiltration and runoff water in wetlands, it is necessary to balance the OPI retention pond soil conditions of the region.For that conducted the study in order to obtain the determination of flood control and inundation scenarios in the study site of the present and future. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kualitas sungai kundur melalui pendekatan biotic index dan biotilik. Penelitian ini telah dilakukan pada bulan Mei 2014 sampai dengan November 2014 di sepanjang aliran sungai Kundur, kelurahan Mariana, kecamatan Banyuasin 1. Penentuan lokasi pengambilan sampel dengan cara purposive sampling. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan pada enam stasiun penelitian. Analisa data dilakukan dengan perhitungan indeks toleransi makrozoobentos melalui biotic Index dan biotilik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai biotic index yaitu 8,72 dan nilai biotilik yaitu 1.Penilaian tersebut sama – sama menggambarkan bahwa kualitas sungai kundur berada pada kondisi tercemar berat. Kondisi ini ditunjukkan oleh jenis makrozoobentos yang ditemukan pada perairan ini memiliki nilai toleransi yang cukup tinggi terhadap pencemaran.KATA KUNCI: Biotilik, biotic index, makrozoobentos, sungai.

Abstract

Perairan Waduk Gajah Mungkur merupakan tipe perairan yang tergenang mempunyai dan arti penting bagi perikanan. Plankton di perairanWadukmempunyai peranan bagi sumberdaya perikanan, antara lain sebagai produsen primer dan dapat dijadikan sebagai indikator kualitas lingkungan perairan. Kelimpahan plankton di suatu perairan dipengaruhi oleh parameter lingkungan perairan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmengetahui tingkat kesuburan perairan, kelimpahan dan keanekaragaman plankton Penelitian dilakukan bulan Pebruari - Nopember 2010 dengan frekuensi pengambilan contoh sebanyak empat kali yaitu pada bulan Pebruari, Mei, Juli dan Nopember. Analisis tingkat kesuburan perairan dengan metode Carlon’s dapat diketahui perairan Waduk Gajah Mungkur termasuk katagori perairan dengan tingkat kesuburannya tinggi.Waduk GajahMungkur termasuk perairan dengan kelimpahan plankton tinggi dan keanekaragaman plankton rendah yang didominansi oleh Synedra ulna Gajah Mungkur reservoir is a lentic water and has significance impact for fishery. Plankton in the reservoir as the primary producer has an important role on fisheries, could be used as an indicator of aquatic environmental quality. Abundance of plankton will be influenced by environmental condition including water quality. The purpose of this study to determine the productivity level of water quality, abundance and diversity of plankton. The study was conducted from February to November 2010, with schedule of sampling was in February, May, July and November 2010. Based on analysis by Carlon’s method, the results showed that the water quality at Gajah Mungkur reservoirwas eutrophic level. Gajah Mungkur reservoir has high plankton abundance and low plankton diversity the species of plankton was dominated by Synedra ulna.

Abstract

Bengawan Solo merupakan sungai yang sudah banyak mengalami perubahan oleh Waduk, Bendungan, Sodetan, dan lain-lain. Bengawan Solo melewati Provinsi Jawa Tengah dan Jawa Timur yang padat penduduk, sekitar 15,2 juta jiwa berdomisili di satuan wilayah Sungai Bengawan Solo dan juga banyak terdapat industri. Permasalahan tersebut dapat berpengaruh langsung terhadap kehidupan organisme air kajian tentang parameter físika-kimia perairan diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi tentang status kualitas perairan di Bengawan Solo. Parameter yang diamati dalam penelitianini adalah oksigen terlarut, karbondioksida, pH, fenol, minyak-lemak, amonia, Cd, Cr, Zn, Pb, Cu, dan CN. Terdapat indikasi bahwa Bengawan Solo di daerah Solo-Sragen dan sekitarnya telah tercemar bobot dengan kualitas air buruk yaitu oksigen rendah (beberapa lokasi kurang dari 2 mg/L, karbon dioksida tinggi (8,8-34,32 mg/L), NH3-N bebas tinggi (beberapa lokasi lebih dari 0,2 mg/L), COD tinggi (1,64-172 mg/L), fenol tinggi (0,087-1,431 mg/L), minyak lemak tinggi (2,6-54,6 mg/L).Konsentrasi logam bobot pada beberapa lokasi yaitu Kampung Sewu, Bak Kramat, dan Tundungan cukup tinggi yaitu Cr= 0,180- 0,375 mg/L, Cu=0,026-0,293 mg/L, dan Zn=0,515-2,892 mg/L. Demikian juga kandungan logam bobot pada ikan sapu-sapu (Liposarcus pardalis) cukup tinggi pada beberapa lokasi Kampung Sewu, Tundungan, Bak Kramat, dan Butuh; Cr=0,856- 2,154 mg/kg, Cu=3, 69-198,48 mg/kg, Pb=1,067 - 2,006 mg/kg, dan Zn=53,516-102,285 mg/kg. Perlu dilakukan pengendalian pencemaran di Bengawan Solo dengan cara meningkatkan kesadaran bersama, pemantauan pembuangan limbah, dan penindakan bagi para pelanggaran. Bengawan Solo River is highly modified by dams, impoundment, reservoir, channelization, etc. It traverse through Central Java and East Java province in its passage from headwaters to the sea. Industries and heavy population (approximately 15.2 million people) near the river have potentially wreaked havoc upon the river. Study on physical and chemical parameters expected provide enough information on water quality condition in Bengawan Solo River. Parameters under study were disolved oxygen, carbondioxid, pH, fenol, NH3-N, oil, and grease, COD, Cr, Cd, Pb, Zn, Cu, and CN. An overview of water quality of Bengawan Solo River in Solo-Sragen region indicates that the segments is already strongly polluted as indicated as low oxygen (some location less than 2 mg/L) and high amount of CO2 (8,8-34.32), high free NH3-N (some location more than 0,2 mg/L), COD (1,64-172 mg/L), fenol (0.087- 1,431 mg/L), and oil and grease (2,6-54.6 mg/L). Heavy metals content of some location at Kampung Sewu, Bak Kramat, and Butuh were Cr=0,180-0,375 mg/L, Cu=0,026-0,293 mg/L, Zn=0,515-2,892 mg/L. Heavy metals content in fish tissue of sapu-sapu were high enough at some location (Kampung Sewu, Tundungan, Bak Kramat, and Butuh); Cr=0,856-2,154 mg/kg, Cu=3,69-198,48 mg/kg, Pb=1,067- 2,006 mg/kg, and Zn=53,516-102,285 mg/kg.
