Abstract

Riau  yang  notabenenya  Melayu  diprediksi  memiliki banyak  naskah,  namun  jumlah  yang  pasti  belum  diketahui  secara tepat karena pelacakan naskah  terus  berlangsung  sehingga koleksi naskah terus bertambah. Selain itu penelitian yang dilakukan belum sampai  kepada  tempat  yang  diprediksi  memiliki  naskah  misalnya istana  Asserayah  Al-Hasyimiyah  Kerajaan  Siak  di  Riau  belum pernah disentuh tangan ahli sampai sekarang. Berdasarkan Daftar Pertelahan Arsib Kerajaan Siak terdapat 290 file naskah. Setiap íle berisi banyak naskah. Beberapa naskah berbentuk lembaran dipajang di dalam lemari kaca meskipun lembaran naskahnya sebagian besar rusak dan lapuk bahkan sebagiannya telah dilapisi dengan kertas lain dan  disambung-sambung  sehingga  menjadi  naskah  yang utuh  lagi. File  naskah  tersebut  jauh  dari  pemeliharan  sehingga  kemungkinan naskah akan hancur. Naskah yang banyak itu belum diketahui siapa yang menulisnya. Sehubungan dengan itu, maka dicoba melakukan penelusuran terhadap naskah dan penulisnya dan hasilnya menjadi bahan penulisan artikel ini.

Abstract

Kingdom of Riau in the 19th century recognized by many historians as the center of culture and intellectual development. While at the same time, the kingdom of Riau no longer holds hegemony and succeeding in politics, economy and trade, but they have a tradition of excellence in the form of writing that many writers with works of quality that is not only in the field of literature and language alone but also in the fields of religion, history, socio-political, legal, and cultural. Although the tools for writing like paper and ink difficulty encountered in those days, and must be imported from European countries, but the author and the authors Riau while still concentrating on the activities making up the reef. For instance, Raja Ali Haji (1808-1873) is the third descendant of Raja Haji Fi Sabilillah most productive in writing activities. One of his works, entitled The Book of Knowledge of Language, Slang Dictionary Pahang Malay Johor Riau linga which was completed in 1858 is a Malay Dictionary Malay First Nature books can even be regarded as Malay Einsiklopedi containing approximately 2000 sentences basic and advanced script written as Bustanul Katibin which intends to foster Malay language became the language of the standard on its own. The manuscript of the book, now the mistress Foundation Indrasakti in Penyengat. In connection with that paper will review the history of the manuscript and are contained in the text.

Abstract

Tamadun Melayu sering disinonimkan dengan Islam. Ia bagaikan dua entitas yang tidak dapat dipisahkan karena orang Melayu sudah lama menganut agama Islam. Alam Melayu adalah kawasan yang menerima pengaruh Hindu dan Buddha akan tetapi dengan kedatangan Islam ia telah berjaya merubah kawasan ini kepada pusat perkembangan Islam sehingga dikatakan kebangkitan tamadun Melayu ini sejalan dengan berkembangnya Islam di Nusantara. Islam di Alam Melayu sebenarnya berlangsung dalam jangka waktu yang panjang dan melalui berbagai peristiwa. Hubungan Islam dengan orang Melayu menarik perhatian pihak bangsa luar dan timbul perasaan iri hati terhadap kemakmuran orang Islam sehingga bangsa Eropah datang memasuki kawasan Nusantara guna mengambil kekayaan alamnya. Sistem sosial masyarakat Nusantara sebelum kedatangan Islam dipengaruhi oleh sistem kasta Hindu yang melahirkan dua kelompok yang sangat jauh berbeda. Perbedaan tersebut sangat menentukan status sosial masyarakat dan perbedaan inilah yang terkikis habis dengan kedatangan Islam yang mengajarkan bahwa manusia itu sama dan yang membedakannya adalah iman. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut, tulisan ini melihat sejauh mana implementasinya terhadap perilaku sosial masyarakat Melayu Riau pada waktu sekarang

Abstract

Literacy is a tool of communication which could help people to know the natural surroundings without any real experience, but they could know the events of the past. As a relic, the literacy cannot be ignored. For example, the literacy of Arabic-Malay is a tool to write Malay language for the people who live in the archipelago. With the help of the Arab-Malay literacy, Moslem sholars, kiais, and teachers are able to produce real works that characterizes the traditional writing of citizens. The works of the past people implemented in Arabic-Malay and Malay are called Malay manuscripts. The number of Malay manuscripts is innumerable and has been saved by 28 countries in the world. The Malay manuscripts will not contribute to society nowadays if they are not read and the people do not understand their contents. Therefore, it is important to do a research for the existence of the Arab-Malay literacy in the archipelago. Moreover, the deep research is needed to know its role to read the Malay manuscripts which are ones of the intellectual treasures of the archipelago till the manuscripts can be understood by the people now. It is very necessary to do because the Arab-Malay literacy as a part of the archipelago culture has been "forgotten" for a long time. In studying the Arabic-Malay literacy existence and its role, the writer prefers using literatures. It means that this article focuses on library research because the analysis is directed to the books and writings related to the discussion.

Abstract

This paper is part of the results of research, one of the objectives is to know the penetration of Islam on religious social, especially the field of education that occurred in the community Rokan Hulu. Due to this study of social science research, the method used is in accordance with the social science method guided by theoretical framework by using qualitative approach done in four stages of work namely (1) heuristics, (2) criticism, (3) interpretation, and ( 4) historiography. The research is descriptive form of research that gives a description or describes a complex reality so that the explanation and analysis and interpretations are met. The research location is Rokan Hulu Regency because predicted Riau Islamization comes from Barus adjacent to Rokan Hulu. The results prove that Barus became an important port after Melaka in the world of commerce. In addition to trade, they are traders also broadcast the religion of Islam and make emotional connection with the local community and marriage so that many tombs of Middle Eastern communities in Barus that can be witnessed today and has been studied also by scientists from various countries. The spread of Islam in Barus spread to the surrounding area like South Tapanuli known as “Serambi Mekah” of North Sumatra. By looking at the position of Rokan Hulu adjacent to South Tapanuli, it can be predicted that will be affected by the Islamization so that it will affect the religious social community of Rokan Hulu including education. The nickname of “Negeri Seribu Suluk” to Rokan Hulu is an indication that Rokan Hulu is a temple of Barus Islamization so that it affects the religious education that grows and develops in Rokan Hulu Malay society such as the number of houses of worship and “surau-surau suluk” which until now still become the icon of the area. The birth of the Sufis who developed the Naqsyabandiyah congregation in Rokan Hulu was an implementation of the religious life of the Malay Rokan Hulu people, in which they chose a special way of nicknaming to draw closer to Allah SWT.

Abstract

Islamization is a process in which someone is invited to apply Islamic teachings purely in all aspects of life such as religious ritual, economic, social and cultural, politics, law and governance. The existence of cemetery of Syekh Burhanuddin and all its historical story are evidences that Islam exists in Kuntu which also influence others region in Riau for its religion, culture, social, and so on. From the investigation, historically, in Riau, Syekh Burhanuddin – a famous Islamic Arabian preacher has come to Kuntu and developed Islam. The Islamic teachings delivered by Syekh Burhanuddin remains well in the society until today. He spread Islam and its teachings peacefully, like others preachers of Islam do generally. The way of Syekh Burhanuddin delivered the Islamic teachings and its contents influenced the culture and characters of people in Kuntu, Riau or Indonesian people in general.

Abstract

Zapin is one of the  culture  that derived from Arabic culture which was growing in the  Indonesia through a process of Islamization. Zapin in Indonesia grow and develop accordance with the customs and conditions of local communities. Zapin is composed of three elements namely music, song and dance. Three elements are complementary each other and create harmony of movement and  rhythm which are eyecatching and earcathing. In the Indonesia of the past, especially in the region of the Kingdom of Siak, Zapin is an palace art that is patented by the sultan for certain events such as welcoming guests and celebrations in the kingdom so that when Zapin displayed much rule that must be understood and practiced by zapiner, both musicians, singers and dancers. For example, not allowed to dance in pairs between men and women, wear clothes that are neat and cover the body as religion rule, polite, indicates a movement that glorifies and many other procedures. When  reviewed and examined in depth the whole that rule, in essence teaches ethics and akhlakul karimah to the performers and audience of Zapin. Expiration of the kingdom in the Indonesia as the kingdom of Siak did not make Zapin faded, Zapin defended in the community because its content suitable with appoint teaching and attitude life of the Indonesia’s people who are prioritize the religiosity. It means the presence of  Zapin as one of the traditional art form still exist for people now even the value contained in the Zapin never faded though modern art has become popular. Therefore, this paper tries to explore the existence of Zapin especially akhlakul karimah value contained in it, so Zapin become one of the traditional arts and empowering for the life of society and state even act as strengthening the curriculum in 2013 as the government declared today Kata kunci: Zapin, exploring, value, akhlakul karimah, curriculum 2013

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini dilakukan karena proses pembelajaran masih berpusat pada guru dengan metode konvensionalnya seperti ceramah dan mengerjakan soal yang mengakibatkan siswa tidak termotivasi, kurang semangat dan tidak aktif bertanya dalam kelas ketika penyampaian materi pembelajaran dilakukan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar PAI pada siswa kelas V A SDN 001 Pulau dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V A SDN 001 Pulau yang berjumlah 25 orang terdiri dari siswa laki–laki 11 orang dan siswa perempuan 14 orang. Alat ukur yang dipakai adalah aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa, hasil belajar, serta ketuntasan belajar. Rata–rata aktivitas guru pada siklus pertama adalah 70,92% (baik). Pada siklus kedua adalah 77,92 % (baik). Pada siklus ketiga adalah 79,48 % (baik). Rata–rata hasil belajar pada siklus pertama adalah 56,92 % (cukup). Pada siklus kedua adalah 73,84 % (baik). Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa belajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif Tipe STAD dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar PAI pada siswa kelas V A SDN 001 Pulau. Bagi guru yang selama ini masih menggunakan metode pembelajaran dengan verbal (ceramah), agar dapat mengganti dengan model pembelajaran yang lain yang lebih variatif seperti model pembelajaran kooperatif Tipe STAD. Dengan model pembelajaran yang baru siswa akan lebih aktif dan bersemangat dalam belajar.

Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the contents of the text of the Risalah Asal Ilmu Tabib  (RAIT) collection of the Sang Nila Utama Museum in Pekanbaru. This text is a copy of the manuscript of Raja Haji Daud bin Engku Haji Ahmad bin Almarhum Fi Sabilillah. The text is one proof that the people of the past have a high intellectual level. This paper is a preliminary study to uncover the content of the text using the philology method. At the end of the study it was found that this text contained a message to humans to maintain the balance of the four elements in their bodies, namely wind, fire, water and land. The four elements must be balanced because if there is a deficiency or excess one of them, then the disease will come into the human body. There are four characteristics of diseases that attack humans, namely: (1) ash-shafrawi, which is the pain of mirrat, the nature is hot and dry because of its element of fire and its place around bile; (2) as-sudawi, which is ill, it is cool dry because of the element of the soil and its place in the spleen; (3) al-balghomi, a slimy disease, the nature is wet because of the element of water and its place in the lungs; (4) ad-damawi, which is blood pain, the nature is hot and wet because of the element of the wind and its place in the heart.     --   Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kandungan teks Risalah Asal Ilmu Tabib (RAIT) koleksi Museum Sang Nila Utama Pekanbaru. Naskah ini merupakan salinan dari naskah Raja Haji Daud bin Engku Haji Ahmad bin Almarhum Fi Sabilillah. Naskah tersebut merupakan salah satu bukti bahwa masyarakat masa lalu memiliki tingkat intelektual yang tinggi. Tulisan ini merupakan kajian awal untuk mengungkap kandungan teksnya dengan menggunakan metode filologi. Di akhir kajian ditemukan bahwa naskah ini mengandung pesan kepada manusia untuk menjaga keseimbangan empat unsur yang ada dalam tubuhnya, yakni angin, api, air dan tanah. Keempat unsur tersebut harus seimbang karena jika terjadi kekurangan atau kelebihan salah satunya, maka penyakit akan datang ke dalam tubuh manusia. Ada empat sifat penyakit yang menyerang manusia, yaitu: (1) ash-shafrawi, yakni sakit mirrat, tabiatnya panas dan kering karena unsurnya api dan tempatnya sekitar empedu; (2) as-sudawi, yakni sakit pitam, tabiatnya sejuk kering karena unsurnya tanah dan tempatnya di limpa; (3) al-balghomi, penyakit yang berlendir, tabiatnya basah karena unsurnya air dan tempatnya di paru-paru; (4) ad-damawi, yakni sakit darah, tabiatnya panas dan basah karena unsurnya angin dan tempatnya di hati.
