Abstract

Dalam mengembangkan alat-alat praktikum yang dirancang khusus untuk kelas inklusif maka perlu diperhatikan karakteristik terpenting dari sekolah inklusi sebagai satu komunitas yang kohesif (menyatu dengan siswa noremal lainnya), menerima dan responsive terhadap kebutuhan individual siswa. Permasalahan yang seringkali muncul dalam pembelajaran anak berkebutuhan khusus adalah pada saat mereka harus praktikum. Kondisi ini juga sangat terasa pada saat pembelajaran Fisika yang karakteristik ilmunya memang berlandaskan pada kemampuan eksperimen.Pengalaman belajar yang realistik (seperti praktikum yang melibatkan kegiatan eksperimen dan demonstrasi) sangat diperlukan dalam pembelajaran Fisika. Padahal keterbatasan fisik karena tuna netra dan tuna rungu sangat menggangu bagi siswa penyandang tuna netra dan tuna rungu baik disekolah umum (pendidikan inklusif) maupun di sekolah khusus penyandang cacat. Namun kesiapan sistem pembelajaran yang dapat diakomodasi oleh penyandang cacat ternyata belum memadai. Hal ini terutama ketika siswa penyandang cacat akan mengikuti pengelaman belajar yang bersifat realistik, eksperimen Fisika misalnya. Belum ada model eksperimen Fisika yang dirancang khusus untuk melayani kebutuhan belajar anak penyandang tuna netra dan tuna rungu. Berdasarkan kenyataan itulah telah dikembangkan alat praktikum sains yang bersifat manual menggunakan indra peraba dan Voice Equipment (MFE) yang berbasis perubahan tegangan (potensial listrik) menjadi suara yang digunakan dalam praktikumfisika untuk anak penyandang tuna netra dan tuna rungu. Kata kunci : Alat praktikum sains (fisika), kelas inklusif, penyandang ketunaan.

Abstract

The aims of this research are 1) to produce science learning device based on Science Series which is feasible according to the validators, 2) to know the students response to Science Edutainment learning, 3) to know the improvement of students learning motivation after using learning device which developed, 4) to know the improvement of students cognitive learning achievement after using learning device which was developed. This research is categorized as R&D research with 4 d model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). Instruments which were used in this research are validation forms of learning device, students questionnaire response to Science Education learning, students questionnaire of learning motivation, pretest and posttest, and learning task observation form. The data analysis techniques used in this research are qualitative and quantitative. The results of this research are: 1) it has been produced science learning device based on Science Series which is feasible with excellent category (A) according to the validators, 2) science learning which used learning devices based on Science Edutainment get students response with good category (B), 3) science learning device can improve students learning motivation with percentage 10.74%, 4) science learning device can improve students cognitive learning achievement with result of gain score is 0.73 and categorized as high category.

Abstract

Tujuan program pengabdian (PPM) ini adalah meningkatkan penguasaan uji statistik yang bersifat terapan dalam bidang penelitian pendidikan bagi guru IPA di Sleman, Yogyakarta dengan menggunakan buku ajar statistik terapan. Kegiatan PPM ini diperuntuk bagi guru-guru IPA di Sleman, Yogyakarta. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini akan disatukan dengan agenda kegiatan MGMP guru IPA di Sleman, Yogyakarta yang dilakukan secara rutin. Pelatihan dilakukan di Laboratorium Komputer Jurusan Pendidikan IPA FMIPA UNY. Bentuk kegiatan PPM yang akan dilaksanakan dalam kegiatan PPM ini meliputi: tutorial, praktik, tugas terstruktur, dan konsultasi tugas. Pelatihan ini diikuti oleh 10 peserta dari target 20 peserta dari guru-guru IPA SMP di Sleman, Yogyakarta. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan ini yaitu guru memiliki pemahaman dasar dalam uji statistik untuk penelitian pendidikan dan mampu memiliki kemampuan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS dalam uji statistik. Kata Kunci: Bahan Ajar Statistik, Penelitian, Guru IPA.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to produce the integrated education management information system as database for  education budget policy formulation. The database that is precise, accurate, complete and taransparan is  accessible to the public via the web in the android system, is a key element in any policy formulation and budget proposals in the field of education, that it can  be used to reduce the corruption in the education area in a systematic which began drafting the state budget and regional budget. this research is a development that adapt the model Borg and Gall (1983). aikens formula v is used to analyze the instrument by the validator. The concept is to package products and services in one unit. To produce a product, a common cycle passed are: system specification, design, production, distribution, setup, use, maintenance, and renewal. The results of research is already made education management information system based on national education standards and geografic information system that has been tested is limited in some schools in the district region in indonesia. The policy recommendations of this research will support the government to modernize management of the education budgeting sector.

Abstract

Curriculum 2013 requires a paradigm shift in the teachers manage learning, including assessment. Research on the implementation of integrated science instruction assessmentis an attempt to overcome the problems in science learning assessment in Junior High School. Rate the former tend to simply measure cognitive ability, so that teachers rarely pay attention to ratings on science process skills of students and social attitudes. This research aims to; (1) produce integrated science assessment practical instruction through the feasibility test in science learning class (2) to get the measure of science process skills and social attitudes of learners using instruments developed. This research is a development that adapt the model Borg and Gall (1983). Aikens Formula V is used to analyze the instrument by the validator. This research resulted in: (1) integrated science instruction assessment practical through feasibility testing in the classroom science lessons with the following characteristics: (a) the observation sheet form checklist used by teachers to observe the science process skills of learners is only at the stage of observing, measuring, inferring, classifying, predicting, communicating as well as observing the social attitude on stage mental and neural state, of readiness to respond, organized, through experience, and  exerting a directive  (b) science process skills is not observed from the behavior of learners assessed by working the worksheet (c) the self-assessment of social attitudes among learners friends used only at the stage of evaluate; (2) the instrument has been developed fit for use because it meets the content validity by experts and reliability was good value. (3) Results of measurement using observation sheet science process skills get a very good category and the results of measuring social attitude of learners using observation sheets, self-assessment and peer assessment obtained either category on aspects of mental and neural state, of readiness to respond, organized, through experience, and  exerting a directive .

Abstract

Tujuan program pengabdian (PPM) ini adalah untuk meningkatkan penguasaan penggunaan aplikasi computer “CMI-SIPSMA” guru IPA di Sleman, Yogyakarta dalam bidang penilaian hasil belajar. Kegiatan pelatihan ini diperuntuk bagi guru-guru IPA di Sleman, Yogyakarta. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini direncanakan di salah satu SMP di Sleman Yogyakarta yang dikolaborasikan dengan kegiatan MGMP atau pertemuan guru IPA secara rutin, sehingga memudahkan akses bagi semua guru yang akan mengikuti pelatihan ini. Pelaksanaan PPM pada hari Sabtu, 9 September 2017, di Laboratorium Komputer Jurusan Pendidikan IPA FMIPA UNY, mulai pukul 07.00 – 11.30. Kegiatan PPM dilaksanakan dengan cara tutorial (Tatap Muka), workshop, penugasan terstruktur, dan konsultasi via on-line. Hasil kegiatan PPM ini yaitu guru memiliki pemahaman dasar tentang problem dan solusi dalam implementasi penilaian berdasarkan K-13 dan memiliki kemampuan menggunakan aplikasi yang ada di CMI SIPSMA untuk analisis butir soal untuk menghasilkan butir soal yang berkualitas. Kata kunci: CMI-SIPSMA, Penilaian, Guru IPA.Workshop Use of Computer-Based Applications "CMI-SIPSMA Information System of School Assessment" For Science Teachers of SMP in Sleman, YogyakartaAbstract           The purpose of this program of dedication (PPM) is to increase the mastery of the use of computer application "CMI-SIPSMA" science teachers in Sleman, Yogyakarta in the field of assessment of learning outcomes. This training activity is intended for science teachers in Sleman, Yogyakarta. Implementation of this activity is planned in one of Junior High School in Sleman Yogyakarta which is collaborated with MGMP activity or IPA meeting regularly, making it easier for all teachers who will attend this training. Implementation of PPM on Saturday, September 9, 2017, at the Laboratory Computer Science Department IPA FMIPA UNY, starting at 07:00 to 11:30. PPM activities are conducted by way of tutorial (Tatap Muka), workshop, structured assignment, and consultation via on-line. The result of this PPM activity is that teachers have a basic understanding of the problems and solutions in the implementation of the assessment based on K-13 and have the ability to use existing applications in CMI SIPSMA for item analysis to produce quality items. Keywords: CMI-SIPSMA, Assessment, Science Teacher.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kompetensi guru IPA SMP se-kecamatan Mlati, Sleman Yogyakarta dalam mengerjakan soal IPA model Programme Internationale for Student Assesment (PISA). Kompetensi PISA yang diujikan mencakup menjelaskan fenomena secara ilmiah dan mengevaluasi dan mendesain penyelidikan ilmiah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah survei yang dilaksanakan di SMP N 2 Mlati Yogyakarta. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru IPA dengan jumlah 12. Jumlah subjek penelitian ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik cluster sampling yang terbagi menjadi empat wilayah yaitu bagian timur, barat, selatan, dan utara sehingga bisa mewakili secara guru-guru IPA di SMP Mlati Yogyakarta. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah butir soal IPA model PISA berjumlah lima yang telah divalidasi oleh dosen ahli. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan cara kuantitatif deskriptif dengan cara mengkonversi ke dalam kategori. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi guru IPA dalam mengerjakan soal IPA model PISA masih bervariasi. Nilai prosentasi guru IPA mampu mengerjakan soal untuk kompetensi menjelaskan fenomena secara ilmiah, mendesain penyelidikan ilmiah, dan mengevaluasi terkait dengan penyelidikan ilmiah dan masing-masing 41,67%, 25%,  dan 87,5%  dengan kategori masing-masing cukup (C), kurang (K), dan baik sekali (BS).

Abstract

This research aimed at (1) producing Subject Specific Pedagogic (SSP) of integrated science learning with  nationalism values by utilizing Indonesian megabiodiversity which is valid and practical for the students of border areas, (2) obtaining empirical test results on the effectiveness of SSP integrated science learning with  nationalism values by utilizing Indonesian megabiodiversity to improve the quality of students’ learning outcomes and soft security in border area. The SSP was prepared through a research design referring to  "Prototypal Studies" as put forward by Akker (1999) and Plomp (2001). The important thing that needs to be considered in the development research is the quality of the produced learning tools (product). Plomp (2001) has pointed out the product quality criteria, namely: valid (reflects state-of-the-art knowledge and internal consistency), added value, practical, and effective. This research is intended to solve the problems of junior high schools in the region of (1) Atambua, Belu Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province, and (2) Entikong, Sanggau Regency, West Kalimantan Province. The reserach results showed that SSP science learning integrating Indonesian megabiodiversity utilization with nationalism values was valid, practical and effective to develop concepts understanding and soft security among students in border areas schools.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi sel surya dan pemanfaatannya di berbagai negara telah mengalami peningkatan yang sangat pesat. Untuk kepentingan dunia pendidikan sel surya dapat digunakan sebagai media alternatif pengganti luxmeter. Pada kajian ini sel surya dimanfaatkan untuk mengenalkan persamaan Lambert – Beer yang bermanfaat untuk kajian yang lebih mendalam berkaitan optik nonlinier. Penelitian ini menganalisis karakteristik koefisien attenuasi bahan plastik menggunakan sel surya secara sederhana dengan variasi ketebalan lapisan bahan plastik/filter dari satu sampai enam lapis. Adapun warna filter yang digunakan adalah merah, kuning, dan biru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan intensitas cahaya setelah melalui bahan berubah seiring perubahan ketebalan dan warna bahan filter yang digunakan. Berdasarkan tren ? (attenuation coefficient) filter bahan plastik warna merah dan biru cenderung masih relevan untuk tren linier (lebih besar dari 0,8) dibandingkan filter warna kuning (kurang dari 0,8) ditinjau dari nilai R2. Pada sel surya yang digunakan, memiliki respon dan efisiensi kuantum yang lebih tinggi pada warna kuning daripada warna biru yang menghasilkan tegangan output yang lebih besar, terutama setelah mencapai ketebalan 5 dan 6 lapis filter.

Abstract

The study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of Web-Based Simulation (WBS) on Physics learning to enhance digital literacy skills of Grade XI students in high school. The level of digital literacy skills of the students in the experiment and control group before and after they study using WBS learning and none was determined respectively. The comparison of their levels before and after the study was done to determine the effectiveness of the WBS learning. The participants of this study were 49 students of science class, with 14-16 age. The research design in this study were descriptive-comparison and pretest-posttest experimental design. Data analysis using Anova mixed design with significant 5%. The result of this study are level of students' digital literacy skill before learning process is generally very low; but after the treatment these skill was comparatively increased. In addition, there was a significant difference in the level of digital literacy skill of the classes where the WBS learning is the more effective than direct learning to enhance students’ digital literacy skill.
