Abstract

The experiment was conducted to find of the effects of using sardine oil in rations on the performance of laying hens and quality eggs, especially the omega-3 fatty acids content in the chicken egg. There were four group of in this experiment: L0 (commercial feed) as control treatment, L1 (L0+5% sardine oil), L2 (L0+10% sardine oil) and L3 (L0+15% sardine oil). Data analyzed Completely Randomized Design (CDR) and each group consisted 24 quails. Results of this research showed that there are has a significant (P<0,05) effects on laying hens performance productions. The used of sardine oil in rations significantly influenced the omega-3 fatty acids and cholesterol content (P<0,05). The omega-3 fatty acid content on the egg consumption from the used of sardine oil in rations was highly (P<0,05) and the cholesterol content lower (P<0,05) than not the used of sardine oil in rations. The result showed that used of sardine oil in rations made the performance of laying hens better than the used of control rations. The increasing of sardine oils usage in rations to increased the omega-3 fatty acids content and to decrease of cholesterol content in the chicken egg. It was concluded that using sardine oil in the rations gave effect on the good performance of laying hens.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of supplementation lemuru fish oil protected and L-carnitine on digestibility value of lactating dairy cows. The materials used were 12 lactating dairy cows with average body weight 400 ± 5 kg. The study design was a randomized block design with 4 treatments and each treatment consisting of 3 blocks, each block contains one period of lactation dairy cows. Treatments were P0 = 45% rice straw + 55% concentrate; P1 = 15% rice straw + 30% fermented rice straw + 55% concentrate; P2 = 15% rice straw + 30% fermented rice straw + 55% concentrate + 1000 ppm L-carnitine; and P3 = 15% rice straw + 30% rice straw fermented rice straw + 55% concentrate + 1000 ppm L-carnitine + 4% protected lemuru fish oil. . The results of variance analysis showed that supplementation protected lemuru fish oil and L-carnitine in the diet rice straw fermentation was high significantly increased (P <0.01) on dry matter intake, consumption as well as dry matter digestibility and digestibility of organic matter in lactating dairy cows. It could be concluded that supplementation protected lemuru fish oil and L-carnitine in the diet of rice straw fermented able to reduce the consumption of dry matter and organic matter and increase the value of dry matter and organic matter digestibility.

Abstract

This research was aims to determine the effect of formaldehyde using as a protective material in the soy groats and lemuru fish oil mixtured to escape of the protein and poly unsaturated fatty acid (PUFA) by in vitro. The rumen fluid was derived from donor of the Ongole crosbred fistulated as much as 3 heads. The experimental design used completely randomized design factorial 2x3 pattern consists of two factors:the first factor (soybean groats:lemuru fish oil in the ratio 2:1 and 4:1) and the second factor (the use of formaldehyde at levels of 0%, 2% and 4% base on the dry matter) and was repeated 5 times. The parameters are consist of the nutrient content, the substrates soybean groats and lemuru fish oil the rumen fluid fermented PUFA content by in vitro. Results of the study are levels of protein, fatty acids  oleic, linoleic and arachidonic much available on soybean groats:lemuru fish oil protected formaldehyde at levels of 2% and 4%. The difference between the ratio of soybean groats with lemuru fish oil had no significant (P≥0,05) but significantly different at different levels of formaldehyde (P≤0,05). The conclusion are formaldehyde content of 37% with a level of 2% can be used for protection the soybean groats and lemuru fish oil with a ratio of 4:1 and is able to provide protein as well PUFA. Keywords: soy groats, lemuru fish oil, in vitro, PUFA, formaldehyde protection

Abstract

This study aims to determine differences of production, the physical quality and chemical quality of dairy cattle mastitis patients before and after treatment with antibiotics penicillin-streptomycin. This research was conducted in farmer group (KTT) Subur Makmur, Banyuanyar Village, District Ampel, Boyolali. The material used is 15 cows PFH suffering from mastitis in lactation period 3rd trimester, aged 3 to 5 years. Combinations of antibiotics used is penicillin G 3 grams of mixed powder injection streptomycin sulfate injection of 1 gram powder is then dissolved with aquadestilata until volume of 15 ml. Antibiotics do 1 times a day for 5 days intramuscularly and intramammae. This research was carried out experimentally with two treatments and 15 replications. Data were analyzed by paired sample t-test (paired sample t-test). The analysis showed highly significant (P<0,01) on milk production, protein content, lactose, fat, nonfat dry (BKTL) and the Californian Mastitis Test (CMT), significant differences (P<0,05) pH, color, smell and consistency as well as the difference was not significant (P>0,05) against density. The conclusion of this research is the treatment of penicillin-streptomycin antibiotic use in dairy cows mastitis patients effectively improve the production, chemical quality and physical qualities but can not improve the density of milk. Abstract

This study aim to know the relationship between body size, body weight and carcass weight of male Simmental Ongole crossbred at various age. The study was conducted in Jagalan abattoir in Surakarta for 2 months from December 2016 untill Januari 2016. Ninety heads of male Simmental Ongole crossbred were grouped into 3 groups (each 30 heads) that are Group 1 (1,5-2 years old), Group 2 (2-3 years old) and Group 3 (3-3,5 years old) according to dental anatomy observation at the incisivus replacement. Body length and chest circumference were respectively observed then correlated with body weight and carcass weight. Result shows a strong correlation between body weight and carcass weight by r value 0.931. The correlation between body length with body weight, chest circumference with body weight of Group1, Group 2 and Group 3 also shows in similiar pattern, with r value 0.647, 0.787, 0.666, and 0.661, 0.851, 0.661 respectively. A strong correlation also expressed between body length with carcass weight and chest circumference with carcass weight in each of groups as shown by r value 0.638, 0.740, 0.551 and 0.572, 0.803, 0.603 respectively. It is conculded that body size, body weight and carcass weight of male Simmental Ongole crossbreed have strong correlation among others.

Abstract

This study was aimed to determine the effect of protected soybean groats-Lemuru fish oil in the diet on performance of males Simental Ongole Crossbred. The materials used in this study were 9 heads of males Simental Ongole Crossbred cattle with an average initial weight of 467.55 ± 30.89 kg. The experimental design used was a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting 3 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments were P0 = 30% rice straw fermentation + 70% basal concentrate; P1 = 30% rice straw fermentation + 55% basal concentrate + 15% ogf unprotected soybean groats-lemuru fish oil, and P2 = P1 = 30% rice straw fermentation + 55% basal concentrate + 15% of protected soybean groats-lemuru fish oil. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance followed by Duncans Multiple Range Test. The results showed that the use of protected soybean groats-lemuru fish oil in the diet did not affect the initial body weight, final body weight, average daily gain, FCR and FER. Additionally, the treatment significantly affected dry matter intake and the income of the feedlot has increased. Conclusions of this study was the use of 15% protected soybean groats-lemuru fish oil in the diet increased production performance and income of male simental Ongole Crossbred feedlot.

Abstract

This study aims to determine of the reproductive performance of beef cows consists are Simpocow, Limpo cow and PO cow reared on the livestock. The research was conducted by survey on beefcattle 60 head in the District Mojogedang, Central Java Province from December 2014 throughFebruary 2015. The research parameter is post partum estrus (PPE), post partum mating (PPM),service per conception ( S / C), days open (DO). Results of the study were analyzed descriptively.Reproductive performance of Simpo cow, Limpo cow and PO cow are consecutive PPE: 3:56 ± 0.73months, 3.93 ± 0:40 months, and 6.75 ± 4.68 months, PPM: 3.85 ± 0.70 months, 3.79 ± 0:51 months,and 4:42 ± 1.23 months, S / C: 1.45 ± 0:20 times, 1.74 ± 0:07 time, and 1:38 ± 0:38 times, DO: 5:33 ±0:58 months, 8:44 ± 4.65 months, and 9:27 ± 5.93 months, CI: 14:33 ± 0:58 months, 14:44 ± 0.66months, and 14:44 ± 0.66 months. The conclusion shows that the reproductive performance of theSimpo cow, Limpo cow and PO cow in District Mojogedang appears that the value of post-partumestrus (PPE) and post partum mating (PPM) is panjang.Service per conception (S / C) is high. Daysopen (DO) and calving interval (CI) are both still long.

Abstract

Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas lulusan lembaga pendidikan adalah dengan cara meningkatkan kualitas kinerja guru dalam proses mengajar. Maka dari itu dibutuhkan penilaian kinerja guru di sekolah agar meningkatkan kualitas lulusan suatu sekolah. Maslah –masalah dalam penilaian kinerja guru sering bermunculan antara lain Tak jarang guru hanya menampakkan kinerja baiknya hanya pada saat dikunjungi, kepala sekolah menilai kinerja guru secara subjektif, kepala sekolah  mengevaluasi kinerja guru hanya dari satu kriteria saja, sehingga penilaian tidak objektif. Sehingga perlu adanya sistem pendukung keputusan untuk membantu menilai kinerja guru. Proses pembuatan sistem pendukung keputusan pada sistem penilaian kinerja guru ini menggunakan metode  Weighted Product dan Simple Additive Weighting. Metode Weighted Product dan Simple Additive Weighting Dipilih Karena Mampu menyeleksi alternatif terbaik dan terburuk dari sejumlah alternatif, dalam hal ini alternatif yang dimaksud adalah kinerja guru sebagai bahan evaluasi kepala sekolah, untuk meningkatkan kualitas lulusan sekolah, berdasarkan kriteria-kriteria yang telah di tentukan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mencari nilai bobot untuk setiap atribut dengan cara memberikan siswa kuisoner, kemudian dilakukan proses perengkingan yang akan menentukan alternatif yang optimal, yaitu guru dengan kinerja terbaik dan guru dengan kinerja kurang baik. Berdasarkan pengujian yang dilakukan sistem yang dibuat mampu memberikan hasil yang baik sesuai dengan perhitungan yang digunakan, agar dalam penilaian kinerja guru lebih objektif, dan juga sistem dapat mengurangi kesalahan dalam menilai kinerja guru.
