Abstract

Pembelajaran menempatkan peserta didik sebagai subjek bukan sebagai objek. Menurut Piaget sejak lahir peserta didik mengalami tahap-tahap perkembangan Kognitif. Setiap tahapan perkembangan kognitif tersebut mempunyai karakteristik yang berbeda-beda. Berdasarkan Intelegeni Wechsler peserta didik berbakat intelektual tergolong “sangat unggul” (IQ 130 keatas) berjumlah 2,2% dan tergolong “unggul” (IQ 120-129) berjumlah 6,7% dari populasinya. Peserta didik bagaikan aneka macam bunga elok di taman sari yang indah. Mereka memiliki pesonanya masing-masing sehingga tidak bisa diseragamkan begitu saja atau dipangkas sama rata.

Abstract

Sistem pendidikan diharapkan menghasilkan manusia terdidik yang dewasa secara intelektual, memiliki kematangan pribadi, kematangan moral dan karakter. Pembentukan karakter, nilai dan sikap ditentukan oleh pendidikan di keluarga (nilai warisan budaya, agama, tradisi dan nilai-nilai moral), pendidikan di sekolah dan pendidikan di masyarakat. Proses pembudayaan berbagai kemampuan nilai, dan sikap hanya dapat berlangsung melalui proses pembelajaran yang bermakna sebagai proses pembudayaan. Proses kependidikan menjadi bermakna, pemilihan bahan ajar harus dilakukan secara ketat, agar dapat mempelajari sesuatu sampai tingkatan memahami makna yang dipelajari bagi kehidupan.

Abstract

Pengungkapan sikap dengan menggunakan skala Likert sangat popular di kalangan para ahli psikologi sosial dan para peneliti. Skala Likert berwujud kumpulan pertanyaan-pertanyaan sikap yang ditulis, disusun dan dianalisis sedemikian rupa sehingga respons seseorang terhadap pertanyaan tersebut dapat diberikan angka (skor) dan kemudian dapat diinterpretasikan. Metode Likert merupakan metode penskalaan pernyataan sikap yang menggunakan distribusi respons sebagai dasar penentuan nilai skalanya.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop a multimedia learning to improve student motivation and outcomes in studying chemical equilibrium. Development of interactive multimedia development model is adapted from Lee and Owens, the steps were analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The Media developed combined texts, animations, videos, references, summaries, profiles, pictures and narration to visualization abstract concepts of chemical equilibrium. After validation and trials at small group the media was used in a teaching class.  It shoved that the media may be helpful for low motivations students in studying chemical equilibrium and improved students achievement.

Abstract

This research is descriptive qualitative research. the purpose of this research is to analyse the pedagogical content knowledge of science’s teachers SMA Negeri 11 Kota Jambi, by using purposive sampling technique consist of nine teachers, they are two chemistry teachers, three biology teachers, three mathematics teachers and one physic teacher ware taken as a research subject are categorized as experienced, teachers who are competent in their field base on their educational background. Data collection was conducted a questionnaires reseach instruments by using a  Likert scale measurement, then followed by interviews to a mathematics teacher, a physic teacher, a biology teacher and a chemistry teacher which is reinforced by chech of documents and field observations. The result showed that teacher’s knowledge of pedagogical content knowledge still low, it can be seen from the seven aspects of PCK teachers only four aspects that can be mastered by the teacher, they are knowledge learning strategies, knowledge of the subject matter and education learning, knowledge of communication with learners and knowledge of assessment and evaluation. three of PCK teachers who still don’t understand yet are knowledge of learners and their characteristics, knowledge of curriculum development and knowledge of potential learners development.

Abstract

Research and this development is resulted interactive module to design materials the Elements of Periodic System to improve students’ understanding by the concept of materials the Elements of Periodic System. Using the result of the development of materials the Elements of Periodic System makes effective learning base on responsiveness and knowledge of students. To test the feasibility this Audio-Visual Modules made on the basis of expert validation and testing of products in Grade Ten Science Class. Research and development of audio-visual modules by using this song technique is adapted from Lee & Owens with grooves Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The result of tests on the large groups, the skill of the students increased from 74.50 to 88.50 equal with 12%. The result of interviews showed that students responded very positively for an increased understanding by using song technique.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know the characteristics of the developmental product of creative thinking skills rubricsin solving problem in mathematicsof the subject matter of Algebra for the 8-grade students of SMP Attaufiq Kota Jambi. This is also intended to know the eligibilityof the product, through Mathematic teacher assessment as a user and experts judgment (validation). This research and development was adopted the 4D model, that consists of four stages, i.e. define, design, develop, and disseminate. Based on the teachers assesment and experts judgement can be concluded that the developed rubrics is already valid and can to be apply for the 8-grade students on junior high school.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop an assessment instrument to measure creative thinking skills of junior high school students on integrated science of atom, ion, and molecules material. The instrument consists of a number of questions that require creative thinking skills and rubric assessment about material of atoms, ions, and molecules for junior high school students. The results of the experts validation and trials at small and large groups indicate that the product is appropriate and effective to be tested in the field. Assessment instruments were developed to help teachers identify the creative thinking skills of junior high school students on atoms, ions, and molecules.
