Abstract

This article presents a democratic leadership style of a principal with teacher performance in elementary school in Padang Utara District of Padang City. The teacher's appearance here is very low. Many factors affect teacher performance, one of which is the democratic leadership style of a principal. There were 236 teachers who were the population in the study and 78 taken as samples. The sampling technique uses random sampling proportional to slovin formula. The instrument used in this study is a questionnaire. In general, the results of this study are (1) Democratic leadership style of a good principal that is 90.89%, (2) Teacher performance is high enough that is 72.50%, (3) There is a significant relationship between democratic leadership style with principal with teacher performance at North Padang State Elementary School in Padang City

Abstract

This study was based on the observations of the authors who suggested that the supervision process carried out by the principal was not well implemented. The purpose of this study was to find out how the teacher’s perceptions of the supervision process of principals in Payakumbuh 1 Vocational school, which included several aspects namely: 1) supervision planning, 2) implementation of supervision, 3) evaluation of supervision, 4) follow up supervision. This type of research is deskriptif research. The study population was all teachers in Payakumbuh 1 Vocational School as many as 102 people. While the sample is determined using the slovin formula, which is 48 people. The data collection tol is a questionnaire, which is arranged in the form of a likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using the average  formula (mean). The purpose of this research is to find information about Organizational Culture in vocational high school of the country District Lubuk Begalung Padang City. This is a descriptive research. The population is 137 teachers and research sample is 62 teachers that taken by proportional stratified  random sampling.The instrument of this research was a questionnaire with Likert scale models that had been tested for validity and reliability. Colected data were analyzed by using the average (mean) formula. The results of this research shown the organizational culture in vocational high school of the country District Lubuk Begalung Padang City achieve good category  with an average score 4,00.

Abstract

This research aims to obtain data and information on the management of extracurricular activities. The management of extracurricular activities consists of 3 aspects namely (1) Planning (2) implementation and (3) supervision. Therefore, the problem that will be studied in this research is, "how well the management of extracurricular activities in state vocational High School 1 Ampek Angkek Agam District seen from the aspects of planning, implementation, supervision. The population in this research is X-grade students and XI State Vocational Secondary School 1 Ampek Angkek Agam District and samples amounting to 72 people taken based on the proportional Stratified Random Sampling technique that has been tested for poll validity and The reliability of using SPSS (statistics ISIC Package and Social Science) 16.0 For Window. The results showed that the management of extracurricular activities around the state of vocational 1 Ampek Angkek Agam District: (1) planning to be on a good category with an average score of 4.13, (2) implementation is in the category enough with Average score of 3.29. (3) Supervision is in a good category with an average score of 4.14. Overall the implementation of extracurricular activities in state vocational High School 1 Ampek Angkek Agam District is in a good category with a level of achievement average score of 3.85.The Keyword: plening , actuating, controling

Abstract

This paper discusses about organizational climate. Of this research is based on writer's observation on Badan Kepegawaian dan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia (BKPSDM) Kota Padang has not reflected a good organizational climate. The formulation of the problem is how the organizational climate viewed from: 1) support 2) work pressure 3) freedom 4) familiarity. In general, the purpose of this research is to get an overview of organizational climate, which is viewed from: 1) support 2) work pressure 3) freedom 4) familiarity. This is a descriptive research. The number of population in this research is 54 and this is a research population. The research instrument used questionnaire in the form of Likert scale that has been tested the validity and reliability. The technique of data analysis is using Mean formula (mean). The results showed that the organizational climate in Employees seen from: 1) employee?s support is in quite good. 2) Employee?s job pressure is in good. 3) Employee's freedom in working is in quite good. 4) Employee?s familiarity is in good. Overall, the organizational climate at the Badan Kepegawaian dan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia (BKPSDM) Kota Padang is in a good enough.The Key word: organizational climate

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the excellent service of the administrative personnel of school in SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Padang seen from the standard of excellent service of the administrative personnel of the school. This type of research includes qualitative descriptive research. Determination of the research informant using purposive sampling techniques and the selection of the number of informants using a snowball sampling technique. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using interactive analysis include data reduction, data presentation, withdrawal of conclusions. Validity is seen with triangulation techniques. Research findings show that: (1) The ease of service is not maximally, (2) standard operating procedures have not been carried out properly, (3) TAS are still less emphatically inclined to be busy with their business so that people who need the service often Times neglected, (4) There are still TAS that violate the rules of appearance. (5) TAS less fulfilling promises, (6) TAS that are less friendly and less polite (7) TAS are difficult to contact when needed (8) less communicative TAS.The Key word:    Service Excellent, School Administration Personil

Abstract

This article aims to get an overview of how to analyze teacher pedagogical competencies in implementing character education in Koto Tangah State Elementary School. To realize the competence of teachers with noble values, it is necessary to have student character education so that later the outputs produced are in accordance with the objectives designed in the 1945 Law and education in Indonesia is not only qualified but also has character. However, the author's observations on how the analysis of teacher pedagogical competence in Koto Tangah Elementary School on the application of character education in schools is still not optimal, this can be seen from several phenomena that researchers find in the field which will be explained in the discussion section below.The Key Word: Teacher?s Pedagogic Competence And Character Building

Abstract

Teacher competence is a set of knowledge, skills and behaviors that teachers must possess. One of the competencies that teachers must have is pedagogical competence. Pedagogical competence is a teaching ability that must be possessed by an educator. Associated with character education, teachers are required not only to be able to teach in the local area but also to be able to form students who have good character and good manners. The importance of character to build quality human resources, character education needs to be done properly, so that the formation of character is something that can not be separated from life. Abstract

This paper discusses the organizational culture on Badan Kepegawaian dan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia.(BKPSDM) Kota Padang a review of the: 1) Innovation and risk taking 2) The orientation team 3) Aggressiveness, 4) The prevailing norms in the organization. Type of this research is descriptive research. The population of this research are all employees of the Badan Kepegawaian dan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia (BKPSDM) Kota Padang as many as 54 people. This research is the research population. Instruments used for data collection is now in the form of likert scale proven validity and reliability, The data were analyzed using the formula the average (mean). The results showed that: 1) Innovation and risk taking employees in the BKPSDM Kota Padang, the category good, 2) The orientation team employees in the BKPSDM Kota Padang , the category is quite good, 3) Aggressiveness employees in the BKPSDM Kota Padang, the category is quite good, and 4) The prevailing norms in the organization in the BKPSDM Kota Padang, the category is quite good. Overall, the organizational culture at the BKPSDM Kota Padang is in a category is quite good.The Key word: organizational culture

Abstract
