Abstract

Abstract

Background: Pleural effusion is a fluid above the normal in the pleural space. Widespread pleural effusions will cause shortness of breath that affects the fulfillment of oxygen demand, so that nursing interventions can be arranged one of them is to set the semifowler position and collaborate in the giving of O2. The purpose of this study was to obtain a picture and experience in providing nursing care significantly for patients with pleural effusion with respiratory disorders. Method: This study uses data analysis method that is comparing the results obtained from two patients with pleural effusions who experienced ineffective breathing disorder and then compared with case study journal or other sources. Result: Based on the results of interviews and observations concluded that with the same diagnosis and performed the same implementation there are differences in outcomes in the intervention group with the control group. Conclusion:  Forward in this study is the need to pay attention to accuracy in conducting assessments to maximize data in determining the priority problems that occur in patients and interventions based ONEC (Observation, Nursing Treatment, Education, Collaboration). Keywords: Pleural Effusion; Breath Pattern Not Effective

Abstract

Background: Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) is a condition in which the heart is unable to pump blood normally, causing disturbed venous return pressure to cause edema. The problem that arises is hypervolemia or intracellular fluid resuscitation to the interstitial that causes edema so that can be arranged nursing intervention one of them is giving diuretic and monitor fluid balance. Describes nursing care performed in Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) patients with hypervolemia. Method: This study uses data analysis method that is conducting the nursing process of two patients Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) who suffered from Hypervolemia disorder and then compared with case study journal as well as other sources. Result: After nursing action in both patients the Hipervolemia problem is equally partially resolved by fluid restriction nursing interventions, and the administration of diuretics. Conclusion: In providing nursing care to patients with Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) should pay attention to fluid restriction and appropriate diuretic administration to reduce edema. Keyword: Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), Hipervolemia, Nursing Care

Abstract

Abstract : Level Of Ability Of Nurses, ECG Interpretation. American Heart Association (AHA) in 2011, recorded more then 1.000.000 people have heart attacks every year, half died from the heart attack and in Europe figures reach 20,000-40,000 CHD patients than 1,000,000 population. In Indonesia in 2002 with acute myocardial infarction disease is the first cause of death with a mortality rate of 220,000 (14%). The purpose of this study to determine the level of ability to interpret ECG nurse in RSUD dr. Soeratno Gemolong Sragen. This research is an experimental approach to Pre-Test-Post Test Group design. through research hypothesis testing. The study population was a nurse amounted to 50 respondents divided into two groups. 30 respondents as the treatment group and 20 respondents as the control group. Statistical tests on the group in pairs using the nonparametric Wilcoxon test and unpaired pad groups using the Mann-Whitney test. Based on the results of the Wilcoxon test can be concluded that the 30 respondents who do the training interpretation of ECG by means of training and training using the modules can be drawn the conclusion that the majority of nurses had good knowledge in terms of ability to interpret ECG with p value  0.001, which means there are significant differences between before and after doing the training. While the results of the Mann-Whitney test the difference between training and training in how to use the module p value 0.001, which means there is a significant difference training by way of training and training in how to use the module. Keywords: Level of ability of nurses, ECG Interpretation

Abstract

Abstract: Early Mobilization, Respiration, Acute Myocardial Infarction. Myocard  Infarction is the death of myocard cells caused by prolonged lack of oxygen. American Heart Association (AHA) 2011, recorded over 1.000.000 people have heart attacks every year. Program of early mobilization (EM) is currently developed by nurses (as part of a component in cardiac rehabilitation hospitals), which can improve physical health. The Objective of research is Proving the influence of early mobilization on changes in vital signs in patients with acute Myocard infarction. This study uses Experimental reseach design with Randomized Pre-test-Post-test Control Group Design.  Sample of this study is IMA patients were 90 respondents who had normal haemodynamic, consisted of 45 respondents provided an early mobilization as the intervention and 45 respondents as a control group were random selected. Data were analyzed by univariate frequency distribution table, while the bivariate data using, Wilcoxon and independent samples t-test. Research procedures performed by observing respiration before and after intervention.  Early mobilization influence the change in respiration. In the group of pairs  p-value  0,01 temperature, where as the unpaired group after treatment p-value of respiration 0,05  Early mobilization of acute myocard infarctionin patients with normal haemodinamic, changes respiration  remained normal haemodinamic although there is a difference between pre-test and post-test

The fact of the Center for Disesase Control (CDC), namely the prevention of Hospital Acquire Pneumonia (HAP) that most of the procedures to prevent VAP conducted by nurses. Nurses should have knowledge of how prevention of VAP. Where knowledge is influenced by several factors, including internal and external factors. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with nurse’s knowledge on the prevention of Ventilator Associated Pneumonia (VAP) in ICU of RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta. The study was descriptive correlational with cross sectional approach. The results of this research indicate that there is no relationship between education with the knowledge of nurses on the preventing of VAP evidenced by the r value of -0.036 count is smaller than r table 0.4005. There was no relationship between years of service with the knowledge of nurses on the preventing of VAP evidenced by the r value of 0.026 count is smaller than r table 0.4005. There was no relationship between training with the knowledge of nurses on the preventing of VAP evidenced by the r value of -0.312 count is smaller than r table 0.4005.
