Abstract

Kondisi ekonomi yang rendah berdampak pada kemampuan mengelola lingkungan sehingga mengakibatkan munculnya permukiman kumuh. Konsep penanganan permukiman kumuh ialah membangun Rusunawa untuk masyarakat berpenghasilan rendah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui manajemen  pemeliharaan Rusunawa di Kelurahan Ujuna Kecamatan Palu Barat. Metode penelitian yang dipakai adalah melakukan pengumpulan data primer melalui observasi, dan  wawancara   kepada 96 responden sebagai penghuni Rusunawa dan 3 responden sebagai pejabat pengelola Rusunawa. Serta mengumpulkan data yang telah tersedia dari pihak UPTD Rusunawa Ujuna sebagai data sekunder. Pengolahan  data menggunakan  metode statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan  bahwa manajemen  pemeliharaan  pada UPTD Rusunawa Ujuna belum maksimal, untuk  prasarana; masih ada kebocoran instalasi air, drainase tidak terawat, dan jalan masih tergenang pada musim hujan

Abstract

DEVELOPMENT OF BRACHYTHERAPY MEDIUM DOSERATE . Brachytherapy has proven to be an effective treatment for different types of cancers and it become a common treatment modality in most radiotherapy clinics. PRPN has had experience in development of Low Dose Rate Brachytherapy for cervic cancer treatment. However the treatment process using LDR device needs 5 hours which makes the patient feel uncomfort. Therefore PRPN develops Medium Dose Rate Brachytherapy with radiation activity not more than 5 Currie. By using this system the expsure time will be shorter. The project is divided into two stages. Purchasing of TPS software and TDS design are held in 2010, and the construction will be in 2011. PEREKAYASAAN BRACHYTHERAPY MEDIUM DOSERATE. Brachytherapy telah menjadi suatu pengobatan yang efektif dari berbagai jenis kanker dan merupakan suatu modalitas pengobatan yang umum pada kebanyakan kilinik-klinik radiotherapi. PRPN telah memiliki pengalaman dalam pengembangan brachytherapy tipe Low Dose Rate (LDR)untuk terapi kanker servik (leher rahim). Namum proses penyinaran menggunakan tipe LDR dibutuhkan waktu lebih dari 5 jam sehingga kurang nyaman bagi pasien. Oleh karena itu PRPN mengembangkan brachytherapy tipe Medium Dose rate (MDR) dengan aktivitas sumber tidak lebih dari 5 Currie. Dengan sistem ini, diharapkan waktu penyinaran menjadi lebih pendek. Kegiatan ini dibagi menjadi dua tahun. Tahun 2010 terdiri dari pengadaan perangkat lunak TPS dan desain Treatment Delivery System (TDS) dan konstruksi tahun 2011.

Abstract

DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF STEPPER MOTOR CONTROLER FOR BRACHY-THERAPY EQUIPMENT. Based on a microcontroller, a stepper motor controller for brachy-theraphy equipment has been designed and prototyped. The embedded control program routine and its other associated routines enable the microcontroller to generate required pulses via external commands for stepper motor based position control. The controller receives ASCII text command via a serial port. The constructed algorithm implements the widely used method that allows motor to rotate in three phases, i.e: acceleration, constant speed, and deceleration.   RANCANG BANGUN PENGATUR GERAK STEPPER MOTOR UNTUK PERALATAN BRAKITERAPI. Telah dilakukan perekayasaan sistem pengatur gerak stepper motor untuk brakiterapi dengan menggunakan mikrokontroler. Kode program subrutin pengaturan gerak dan subrutin yang berkaitan ditanamkan agar mikrokontroler dapat membangkitkan pulsa yang diperlukan untuk melakukan kontrol posisi berbasis stepper motor dengan perintah eksternal. Perintah pengaturan berupa teks ASCII diberikan melalui saluran komunikasi serial. Algoritma umum dipakai dalam pengaturan gerak motor, yaitu terdiri dari 3 fase: gerak dengan percepatan, kecepatan konstan, dan perlambatan.

Abstract

THE DESIGN OF ENVIRONMENTAL RADIOACTIVITY MONITORING SYSTEM SOFTWARE FOR BATAN NUCLEAR INSTALLATIONS AREA. The software for the environmental radioactivity monitoring system for use in the BATAN area has been designed. This software was written in the assembly language for the MCS51. The software is designed to run on the atmospheric radioactivity monitor in the Serpong BATAN nuclear installation area. The hardware is based on the AT89S8253 microcontroller and communicates with a master computer using a wireless modem. The data received by the master computer is to be stored in a database to b processed and displayed in the monitoring system in the form of graphs and data. The database includes date, month, year, and dose rate. The system is controllerd through a provided control panel  RANCANGAN PERANGKAT LUNAK MONITORING RADIOAKTIVITAS LINGKUNGAN KAWASAN INSTALASI NUKLIR BATAN. Telah dirancang perangkat lunak sistem monitoring radioaktivitas lingkungan di kawasan Batan. Perangkat keras yang menggunakan perangkat lunak ini adalah pemantau radioaktivitas udara di kawasan instalasi nuklir BATAN Serpong. Program aplikasi ini bekerja pada perangkat keras berbasis mikrokontroler AT89S8253 yang berkomunikasi dengan suatu komputer master melalui modem nirkabel. Selanjutnya data yang diterima komputer akan disimpan dalam bentuk basis data, dan diolah untuk tampilan dalam sistem monitoring berupa grafik dan data. Basis data yang dihasilkan meliputi tanggal, bulan, tahun dan laju dosis. Pengontrolan sistem ini dilakukan dengan menekan tombol-tombol control panel yang telah disediakan.

Abstract

Community Development Programme by Private Sector almost charity to avoidsocial conflict, so people who live around the forest still poor. The aims of the study are tounderstand issues of social economic of the people living around the Forest Plantation inRiau. Case study has been done in Teluk Meranti and Pulau Muda village in PelalawanDistrict. Data has been collected through household survey and indepth interviews, andanalyzed using a descriptive-comparative methode. Results showed that people who livearound the Forest Plantation less involved in forest management. Most of people in this bothvillage is a farmer, but dominant of land used in Teluk Meranti are oil palm and rubber plantation,whereas in Pulau Muda are wet rice fields and swidden agriculture. Agriculture pattern in thisboth village is still traditional, but industrialize agriculture have in Teluk Meranti with oil palmplantation domination. Nevertheless, income rate of household in Teluk Meranti still lowerthan Pulau Muda because many oil palm plantation existing owned by landlords.

Abstract

This research aimed to understanding the consumer attitudes on the organicvegetable attributes, and the influence of the consumer’s social environment toward thesubjective norm in the making the purchasing decision on the organic vegetable in Pekanbaru.Source of data was primary data from interview with respondents using purposive sampling.Method of analysis used Fishbein model to analysis the consumer’s attitudes and tounderstanding the consumer’s decision making process. The attributes was used tounderstanding the consumer’s attitudes is freshness, colour, taste, brand, ingredients,advantage for health, price and the availability. And the attribute was analyzed to analyzedthe influence of the consumer’s social environment is the product’s legal aspect and thefamily members. The research result showed that there was a positive attitude of consumer toconsume the organic vegetable. Attribute “the advantage of organic vegetable for health isowned the higher positive score to influence the consumer’s attitudes to consume the organicvegetable. And the social environment is not influence the subjective norm of consumer inmaking the purchasing decisions of the organic vegetables.

Abstract

The study aimed to identifivcation the household expenditure structure and food coasumption in Pelalawandistrict. The data used in the study was collected from survey In July to November 2(K)2. The result of studyshows that the avarage of houseliold income was Rp 803,135 per month, and the gini ratio of household incomewas 0.20. The household expenditure structure shows that the proportion of non-food expenditure is greaterthan the food expenditure. The consumption of rice and sugar was higer than the expected food consumption,wliile the consumption offish, meal, egg, vegetable and fruit was lower than the expected food coasumption.

Abstract

Much has been charged particle detector radiation detector made by the industry, especially those engaged in the development of detection equipment and components; The d~veloi>iiient and further research will be made solid state detector with silicon mat~iifll. : To be able to detect charged particles (radiation), required the processing of silicon material into the detector material. The method used to make silicon detector material is a lithium evaporations. Having formed an intrinsic region contactor installation process, and with testing Telah banyak detektor pendeteksi radiasi partikel bermuatan dibuat oleh industri, khususnya yang berkecimpung da/am pengembangan peralatan dan komponen deteksi,. Perkembangan dan penelitian lebih Ian jut akan dibuat detektor solid state dengan bahan silikon. Untuk dapat mendeteksi partikel bermuatan (radiasi), diperlukan pengolahan bahan silikon menjadi bahan de,tektor. Metode yang dipakai untuk menjadikan silikon menjadi bahan detektor adalah evaporasi lithium. Setelah terbentuk daerah intrinsik dilakukan proses pemasangan kontaktor, dilanjutkan dengan pengujian.

Abstract

SOFTWARE DESIGN AND MODELLING OF A MUL T/PURPOSE IRRADIA TOR SYSTEM. Software design and simulation model for a multi-purpose irradiator has been done. The studied irradiator consits of 19 carriers which move along a defined irradiation path where 9 stoppers are also located. These stoppers are used to control the movement of the carriers. Commands are sent from the stoppers in order to move a carrier along the irradiation path or to stop its movement. Mathematical model based on state machine method is applied for simulating the carriers movement along the irradiation path. Based on this mathematical model, an algorithm is made and its corresponding interactive computer program will be developed using the standard graphical interface  DESAIN PERANGKAT LUNAK DAN PEMODELAN SISTEM IRADIATOR SERBAGUNA Dilakukan desain perangkat lunak dan model simulasi sistem iradiator serbaguna. Sistem iradiator yang diteliti memiliki 19 carrier yang berjalan pada lintasan medan iradiasi di mana terdapat 9 stopper. Stopper ini berfungsi untuk mengendalikan gerakan seluruh carrier. Pada stopper terdapat mekamisme untuk memerintahkan carrier bergerak sepanjang segmen lintasan atau tetap diam. Metode state machine dipergunakan dalam pembuatan model matematis untuk menirukan mekanisme gerakan carrier pada lintasannya. Berdasarkan model ini maka akan dibangun algoritma dan kemudian perangkat lunak interaktif yang menggunakan antarmuka grafis

Studi Pengembangan Kelapa Sawit Rakyat di Provinsi Riau

Abstract

The study aimed to analyze development of smallholder oil palm plantations in Riau, focusing on patterns of partnership between farmer and estate companies, financial intitutions, marketing agents, and industries, and analyzed profit margin and farmer incomecontribution to household income. Data had been collected by household survey and indepth interviews, and analyzed using a descriptive-comparative method. The study identified that smallholder oil palm plantations were developed by finance scheme of Nucleus Estate Smallholder (NES), KKPA (Kreedit Koperasi Primer untuk Anggota), and pure self finance. According to the poverty criteriaby Sayogyo, most of the oil palm farmers are not in poor category. The productivity of pure self finance smallholder plantation is 15.5% to 44.0% from the research-based palm oil standart productivity, while smallholder plantations by NES and KKPA have 61,3% to 83,8% and 39,7% to 70,6% of the standart, respectively. It is due to diferences in seed used and agricultural technology applied. Marketing of fresh fruit bunches in smallholder plantations by NES and KKPA integrated with nucleus estate or company, while marketing by pure self finance smallholder plantations used intermediate sellers.
