Abstract

Web technology has developed into a medium for sharing very large informations, global, interactive and dynamic. In website, information about number of visitors daily and for more attractive this information could be presented in multimedia. Researcher propose an application which facilitate the administrator for managing website with providing information which pages has been visited frequently or attract many visitors, other name is monitoring web log analyze to Nanotech Company. Refer to this information, the administrator could improve and manage pages in future. The application contain statistical data concerning all matters related to the activity web server specifically requests that successfully responded by the web server, and is presented in the form of graphs. Researcher used Rapid Application Development (RAD) for development method, because it can make the application built quickly and accurately, before did for next stage with tools help in form of graphs about web server traffic.

Abstract

Bali cattle is one of local beef cattle in Indonesia, up to present its performance indicated an inbreeding occurrence. This study was aimed to analyze the genetic diversity and relationship among Bali cattle from several locations in Indonesia based on ETH10 microsatellite marker. Ninety-four (94) DNA samples (89 Bali cattle; 5 Banteng) were analyzed. The Bali cattle samples were from 6 locations in Indonesia (15 Pulukan; 15 Nusa Penida; 14 Bima West Nusa Tenggara/WNT; 10 Mataram, WNT; 20 Riau; 15 South Borneo). DNA Banteng samples were collected from Prigen Malang of East Java. Microsatellite marker of ETH10 labelled HEX was used for amplification. Alleles were analyzed by using Cervus 3.0.7 and GenAlex 6.5. Result showed that there were five (5) alleles found in ETH10 marker i.e., 209; 213; 215; 217; and 219 bp. Average of observed (Ho) and expected (He) heterozygosity were 0.46±0.05 and 0.60±0.03, respectively. Five (5) out of 6 locations were in breeding occurrence except Bali cattle from Mataram was not inbreeding. The longest genetic relationship was between Bali cattle from Mataram and Riau whereas the closest distance was Bali cattle from South Borneo with Mataram. Banteng was closest to Bali cattle from Nusa Penida and the longest was to Bali cattle from South Borneo. This finding indicates there is inbreeding in Bali cattle, therefore it needs to be concerned in bull rotation and semen distribution for increasing the Bali cattle performance.

Abstract

Background: One of criteria of an alert village is the availability of Poskesdes. Poskesdes activities can be carried out in a new building, the house of a midwife or village polyclinic (polindes). The function of Poskesdes associated with promotive activities is to encourage active role of the community as early alert against  risks for various public health problems and as a foundation for networking of community based health efforts in the village.Objective: To identify the process of promotive activity implementation at Poskesdes Subdistrict of Rimbo Bujang District of Tebo Jambi. Method: The study used qualitative method. There were 16 informant consisting of 3 midwives, 6 Poskesdes cadres, 2 community leaders, 2 heads of village, 1 staff of health center, 1 staff of Tebo district health office, and 1 staff of Jambi provincial health office. Data were obtained from indepth interview, document study and observation at Poskesdes. Triangulation, member checking and debriefing were made to ensure data validity. Data analysis used content analysis method. Result: Promotive activities at Poskesdes were implemented in terms of preparation for alert village program by Jambi Provincial Health Office and Tebo District Health Office. The activities included encouragement for active role of the community by involving midwives in coordination with heads of villages, community leaders and cadres. Health centers took role in increasing capacity of cadres and supervising midwives of Poskesdes. Activities to improve alert for disease risk factors were implemented through surveillance that involved integrated service post (posyandu) and the utilization of religious activities. Poskesdes built network across sector through community organizations. Conclusion: Promotive activities at Poskesdes were influenced by active role of midwives, cadres, heads of villages, and community leaders. Community empowerment needed cooperation with community organizations and organizations that had similar objectives and worked across sector.   Keywords: evaluation, Poskesdes, promotive activities, alert village

Abstract

Adanya suatu perbedaan di dunia adalah suatu hal yang mutlak. Dan seringkali adanya perbedaan, terlebih perbedaan agama, membuat orang atau kelompok saling berseteru. Telah banyak sejarah yang menceritakan tentang hal itu. Namun berbeda dengan ini, ada jamaah islam dan jemaat kristen yang tempat peribadatannya saling berdampingan namun mereka tetap berrelasi dengan baik. Kami mencoba meneliti pola keberagamaan apa yang mereka pakai. Kami menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, dengan metode pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi. Dari penelitian panjang yang kami lakukan maka kami mendapatkan kesimpulan bahwa jama’ah masjid Al-Ikhlas menerapkan cara berteologi yang eksklusif, dan jemaat gereja menerapkan tipe teologi inklusif monistik.

Abstract

UNSOED has LAN connection which covers almost all of its units, with minimum bandwidth consupmtionat anaverage of275,318 Kbpsfrom a total of 3 Mbpsso we may apply VoIP system in order to replace voice communication system whichis still using PSTN and PABX. Thereforewe need to know aboutjitter and packet loss ofLAN,and also the codec needs tobedetermined due to voice quality expected and also bandwidth consumpted. Measurementscarried out in two scenariosbased on topologies used in UNSOED (star and ring), in the first scenario (star and ring)server placed on serverfarm meanwhile the second scenario(ring) server placed on Pertanian node. Codec adjusted to the available bandwidth capacity and total of phone number that has to handled. The result show that 0,759 ms jitter obtained from scenario 1 and 0,513ms from scenario 2, both of them included in good category with 0-20 ms of range value, otherwise 0% of packetloss obtained from both scenarios these indicated that LANincluded in good category. There is iLBCcodec with 30 ms packet size which is the mosteconomic on bandwidthcost among G.729, G.711, and iLBC (20 ms), because it cost1995,84Kbpsof total bandwidth usedforhandling 140 phone number. Beside that, it has good voice quality with 4,138996 MOS value. So if we use iLBC (30 ms) codec on the VoIPsystem, there will be still a lot of free bandwidth which can used for other applications, it is about 695,873 Kbps(worst condition) and also get a good-voice quality-VoIP.

Abstract

Students learn according to their learning style, and every learning styles are affecting the process of mathematical reasoning and learning outcomes. The combination of how to absorb, manage and process information is the definition of learning styles. To maximize the students ability to absorb, manage and process information, first identified learning styles of the students are visual, auditory or kinesthetic (V-A-K). This research aims to reveal the profile of mathematical reasoning abilities of students in terms of learning styles visual, audio and kinesthetic on the material function composition and inverse function. This research is a qualitative descriptive approach ethnography and research subject is grade XI of senior high school. The results of the research of profile learning styles (V-A-K) that profile visual students mathematical reasoning skill, have the ability to manipulate, draw conclusions, giving reasons or evidence is sufficient. While the ability to deliver his argument lacking. Profile auditory students mathematical reasoning skills, have the ability to manipulate, giving reason or evidence, and provide argument or the validity of the answer is both. While the ability gets conclusion to enough. Profile kinesthetic students mathematical reasoning skills have the ability to manipulate and give reasons or evidence is sufficient. Abstract

Scientific information about the composistionand structures of mangrove community and zonation patterns, became a basic data to support further fisheries research and development. As one of the reference for Dompu government policy on the fisheries recovery plan in Cempi bay data and information of mangrove in this area were very important. The study was conducted at Cempi bayon the year 2011-2012 by exploration the area nearby research station. The results showed that the mangrove forest has already been heavy disturbed and degraded. The mangrove forest at Mbawi only which has a high density and  good crown coverage. The mangrove species grown in these areas were belonging to the family Rhizophoraceae and Aviciniaceae. The presences of mangrove spesies were supported by environmental factors, such as muddy sandysubstrats and extreme deferences of salinity (3-36o/oo). Recovery of mangrove forest was important to be conducted in order to support the catch shrimp productivity in bay of Cempi. Key Words : Mapping, Composition,  Mangrove, Management of Fish Resources, Cempi Gulf

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of different varieties of cabbages and organic mulches on cabbage growth. The research was carried out in the Langaleso Village, District of Dolo from October to December 2012. This study used a Randomized Block Design in two factorial experiment. The first factor was the mulch consisted of control, rice husk, rice straw, and sawdust. The second factor was the variety of cabbage consisted of Grand 11 and Grand 22. There fore, there were 8 treatment combinations, each combination was repeated 4 times to obtain 32 unit experiments.  The use of rice straw mulch resulted in better plant heightthan control, while the use of sawdust mulch produced larger leaf area and leaf number compared to control. The grand 11 varietyhad higher plant height at 22, 29, 36 and 43 days after plantingcompared to the 22 grand variety. The mulch additionand the cabbage variety showed no interaction effect on the growth      of cabbage. Key Words : Cabbage, growth, mulching, and variety.

Abstract

Infeksi virus hepatitis C (HCV) merupakan penyebab utama penyakit hati kronis di seluruh dunia. Polisakarida dari mikroalga memiliki kemampuan melawan infeksi HCV. Ekstrak mikroalga BTM 11 mampu melawan HCV dengan cara menghambat RNA helikase. Penelitian ini ditujukan untukmemurnikan polisakarida dari ekstrak mikroalga BTM 11. Tahapan penelitian ini meliputi isolasi RNA helikase HCV dari bakteri Escherichia coli BL21 (DE3) pLyss yang membawa gen NS3 helikase dalam plasmid pET 21b menggunakan kromatografi afinitas, dan pemurnian polisakarida dari mikroalga BTM 11 dengan kromatografi gel filtrasi dan ion-exchange. Aktivitas inhibitor diketahui dari besarnya aktivitas ATPase yang dimiliki oleh RNA helikase. Analisis SDS-PAGE menunjukkan RNA helikase terpurifikasi dengan bobot molekul 54 kDa. Kromatografi gel filtrasi menghasilkan fraksi aktif polisakarida inhibitor RNA helikase dengan aktivitas sebesar 78,76% dan kandungan gula sebesar 2,97 mg/mL, sedangkan kromatografi ion-exchange memiliki aktivitas polisakarida inhibitor sebesar 74,6% dengan kandungan gula sebesar 3,21 mg/ mL. Profil inhibitor pada kromatografi lapis tipis (KLT) menunjukkan satu spotsenyawa aktif, namun hasil kromatografi cair kinerja tinggi (KCKT) diperoleh tiga puncak senyawa yang menunjukkan bahwa hasil fraksi polisakarida inhibitor belum murni.
