Abstract

This study aims to determine the drawing based modeling implementation aid eBeam Capture in stimulating the Microscopic Representation of Prospective Biology Teachers in the Digital Era. This type of research is Mixed Methods Research (qualitative and quantitative mixed methods) with embedded experimental research designs. Data collection is done through interviews, observation and documentation, and tests. The results showed that in general it was seen that the microscopic representation ability of students was 77 people who scored high. The results of this study also showed that Drawing-based modeling aid eBeam Capture was able to stimulate microscopic representations of prospective teachers in Cell Biology lectures, namely by contributing 81% in Cell Biology learning. From the results of the study it can be concluded that Drawing-based modeling assisted by eBeam Capture in Biology Cell lectures can stimulate the microscopic representation of prospective biology teachers.

Abstract

Questioning plays an important role in teaching learning process. The effect of prompting question and non-prompting question in biology teaching learning process on increasing student’s understanding and student’s retention was evaluated in this study.  The method used in the study was experimental involving students in control group who used student experiment and non-experiment worksheet without prompting question and students in experimental group who used student experiment and non-experiment worksheet with prompting question. The study was carried out in 4 concepts, i.e. the environment sustainability, water pollution, environment study, as well as sight organ in Invertebrate. To evaluate the different effect of student worksheet with prompting question and student worksheet without prompting question on increasing student’s understanding and retention posttest 1 and post-test 2 was given to the two groups in time interval of 2,3 and 4 weeks. From the result of the two tests the retention was measured. The study revealed that in the concept of Environment sustainability, environmental study and water pollution the use of student worksheet with prompting question as well as without prompting question was effectively increased student’s understanding to the concept, and the increasing of student’s understanding to the concept between control and experiment group was equally the same. Meanwhile in the concept of the organ sight in invertebrate the use of experiment student worksheet with prompting question more effectively increased student’s understanding to the concept than the use of experiment student worksheet without prompting question. Student in the experiment group performed better retention on the concept than student in control group.

Abstract

Karbon merupakan suatu material yang memiliki berbagai keunggulan dari segi sifat fisika dan kimia, sehingga banyak dikembangkan oleh para peneliti saat ini. Keunggulan yang dimiliki oleh karbon ini menjadikannya sebagai material dengan aplikasi yang luas. Performa dari karbon ini dipengaruhi oleh morfologi (seperti: karbon koloidal, nanotube, fullerenese, grafit, grafen, colloidal sphere, nanofiber, porous carbon, nanowire, dan karbon aktif) yang dimiliki akibat metode dan kondisi sintesis. Paper ini terbagai kedalam tiga bagian utama, yaitu: pendahuluan yang berisikan tinjauan umum tentang material karbon, kemudian akan dikaji beberapa metode yang dapat digunakan dalam proses sintesis partikel karbon, diantaranya: metode karbonisasi, metode hidrotermal, dan metode template untuk sintesis karbon berpori. Bagian terakhir dari paper ini adalah aplikasi yang meninjau pemanfaatan dari keunggulan partikel karbon tersebut dalam berbagai bidang, seperti: sensor antibodi, elektroda baterai, dan penyerap limbah.

Abstract

Berbagai bahan baku lokal dapat dibuat menjadi pangan untuk kondisi darurat (food bar), namun bahan baku tersebut perlu dikarakterisasi lebih dahulu. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan bahan baku pisang nangka murni, tepung pisang nangka, tepung kedelai dan tepung ubi jalar. Tepung pisang nangka dihasilkan melalui tahapan pengupasan, pengirisan, perendaman dalam larutan Na-bisulfit, pengukusan, pengeringan, penepungan, dan pengayakan. Tepung kedelai dihasilkan melalui tahapan perendaman, pengupasan kulit, pengukusan, pengeringan, penepungan dan pengayakan. Metode karakterisasi bahan baku yang dilakukan adalah: kadar lemak, kadar protein, dan kadar karbohidrat. Hasil karakterisasi untuk ke-empat bahan baku  tersebut untuk kadar lemak adalah 0.39; 1.53, 15.12 dan 0.48 persen., untuk kadar protein 1,57; 4,085; 39,705; dan 0,34 persen, dan untuk kadar karbohidrat  36,14; 40,00, 36,94; and 68,44 persen. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan energi 2100 kkal perhari, maka susunan formulasi pangan darurat yang dibuat berdasarkan karakterisasi di atas adalah 38.88 persen pisang nangka murni, 28.32 persen tepung pisang nangka, 7.6 persen tepung kedelai, dan 1.00 persen tepung ubi jalar.. Kata kunci: karakterisasi, bahan  baku, pangan darurat

Abstract

Mutu biji kakao sangat dipengaruhi oleh proses penyangraian. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui karakteristik biji kakao sebelum dan setelah proses penyangraian. Metode eksperimental deskriptif digunakan untuk pengujian kadar air, abu, lemak, protein, karbohidrat dan bulk density terhadap bahan baku biji kakao. Proses penyangraian pada mesin penyangrai (roaster) tipe silinder horizontal dilakukan dalam 3 variasi volume, yaitu; 7,5; 10; dan 12,5 kg  dengan tiga kali ulangan.  Analisis kimia dilakukan terhadap biji kakao yang telah disangrai untuk mengetahui kadar air, kadar abu, kadar lemak, kadar protein dan karbohidrat. Dari hasil uji coba diketahui bahwa semakin besar volume biji kakao yang dimasukkan pada mesin penyangrai maka semakin lama proses penyangraian berlangsung yaitu berturut-turut 30, 50, dan 60 menit. Hasil analisis kimia memperlihatkan bahwa biji kakao sebelum disangrai memiliki kadar air 5,55 %, kadar abu 4,60 %, kadar lemak  42,54 %, kadar protein 14,77 % dan kadar karbohidrat 11,88 %. Sedangkan hasil analisis kimia setelah disangrai menunjukkan kadar air biji kakao pada kisaran antara 2,67 - 2,94 %, kadar abu antara 3,44 - 3,58 %, kadar lemak antara 39,00 - 42,38 %, kadar protein 11,19 – 12,5 % dan kadar karbohidrat terukur antara 8,50 – 12,62 %. Kata kunci : biji kakao, penyangraian, roaster, sifat kimiawi

Abstract

Based on literature studies, theoretical based for discontinue prosecution in Indonesia is hard to found. However, in develop countries such as US, England or Australia, theoretical based for discontinue prosecution can be identified as first, “realistic prospect of conviction” and second “prosecution on the public interest” theories. These two theories actually can be found in reasoning for SP3, SKPP and article 32 section c Prosecution Act. The primary difference is, in Indonesia, the discontinuity of public prosecution (SP3 and SKPP) is not discretional. In matters when the decision for discontinue the case appears, it put the Public Prosecutor and the Police Officer on dilemmatic position. For example, on the case No.04/Pi.Pralan/2008/PT.SBY and No. 01/Pdt.Praper/2005/PN.Sby, the Police Officers which handle the case still “freeze” the case because they think there is no reasonable prospect of conviction. The same thing happens on the case No.14/Pid.Prap/2010/PN.JktSel.and No: 149/PID/PRAP/2006/PT.DKI, the Public Prosecutor think there is no reasonable prospect of conviction and they think the prosecution is not on the public interest. On these matters, we suggest that there should be comprehensive studies if we putthe discontinuity of prosecution as discretional of power. Furthermore, “reasonable prospect of conviction” or “prosecution on the public interest” should become guidance or theoretical based for discontinue prosecution in Indonesia.

Abstract

Washer and dryer hand automatic system is one of the few applications of control systems. Research on control system washer and dryer hand automatic is aimed to know the working principle and how to implement sensors Passive Infra Red (PIR) as detection sensors, microcontroller ATMega32 as the main controller and Selenoid Valve, Dryer and Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) as an output device into a system that can be controlled automatically so that the activities of hand washing and drying can be done easily and practically. This research conducted with qualitative methods based on experiment which will be designed a washing system and automatic hand dryer using a PIR sensor-based microcontroller ATMega32. Washer and dryer hand automated system operate based on reaction Passive Infra Red sensor (PIR) on the human body, namely the hands of users. If one of the three mode buttons have been pressed and the users hand is detected by the PIR sensors located around the faucet then the sensor will provide a response to the microcontroller to manage the data that will instruct the output device to work automatically.

Abstract

Queue Tree is one of the Bandwidth management becomes essential for multi-service networks, more and varied applications that can be served by a network effect on the use of links in the network. The links that exist should be able to handle the needs of the application client will tesebut even though in a state of congestion, there must be a guarantee that the link still works properly despite an explosion in demand for application. Bandwidth management has animPortant role in the distribution of quotas for these types of applications that can access the link, in addition to Bandwidth management to provide better Bandwidth guarantees to applications that have been allocated Bandwidth to continuously transmit data in accordance with the allocation though there is congestion in the network or the client even in Under certain circumstances when the Bandwidth allocation that is owned by an application or client is not used, then the Bandwidth Manager idle Bandwidth can be temporarily transferred to the classroom who are experiencing Queues, this gives the advantage of a class Queue accelerating loss while optimizing the use ofexisting links. Hierarchical Token Bucket (HTB) as the implementer of the available bandwidth management can be run on linux operating system platform is also available on Mikrotik Router which are Queue HTB tree is proper bandwidth management analysis, is expected to use a precise and accurate will make the network work optimally.Keywords: Bandwidth, HTB, Queue Tree.

Abstract

         This research is motivated by empirical data, the potential for problems in the field with regard to the growing problem of propaganda in the spread of Islam. Deployment is meant as the spread of Islam through the study of classical texts, recitals in taklim to male and female students who live in boarding Bustanul Wildan as well as to the communities in surrounding and also spread through the typical tradition traditional pesantren like tahlilan, berzanji, Rajaban, Muludan and other events. Pesantren Bustanul Wildan be of interest to researchers as objects related research.          Research conducted at the Islamic Schools Bustanul Wildan. The paradigm used in this study is a constructivist paradigm (qualitative). constructivist paradigm, uses the case study method. Abstract

Konektifitas sebuah smartphone bisa dicontoh, terdiri dari dual-sim yang dapat digunakan keduanya atau dijadikan backup jika salah satu rusak atau paket data habis. Begitupun koneksi internet pada perusahaan atau instansi dibutuhkan dua jalur baik itu virtual ataupun fisik interface agar proses bisnis yang menggunakan koneksi internet tidak terganggu ketika salah satu gateway internet down, terlebih jika perusahaan memiliki kantor cabang untuk membuat agar saling terhubung akan butuh biaya mahal jika harus membangun infrastruktur fisik baik, oleh karena itu dapat dibuat infrastruktur virtual atau bisa disebut terowongan. Jaringan GRE-tunnel berperan sebagai vpn dari kantor pusat ke kantor cabang, sebagai jalur untuk bandwidth international, dapat melakukan file sharing, akses web intranet. Jika kantor cabang satu tidak sedang membutuhkan banyak bandwidth international dapat dialokasikan pada kantor cabang yang lain. Interface gre-tunnel dibuat pada router kedua sisi dengan memasukkan ip publik yang dimiliki pada ip remote, selanjutnya terbentuklah interface virtual. Pada interface virtual diberikan ip address private yang akan menjadi gateway ketika akses ke bandwidth international. Addres-list ditentukan untuk membedakan jalur pada mangle, pada Nat dilakukan modifikasi menjadi dua source-nat untuk memisahkan sesuai pada address-list, marking juga dibuat pada koneksi sesuai address-list, paket dan routing sehingga pada kantor cabang memiliki management routing dengan multiple gateway dan gre-tunnel. Dengan pembahasan pada penelitian ini, maka gre-tunnel dapat menunjang dengan baik dan pada selanjutnya gre-tunnel dapat di riset dengan hal yang lain seperti hotspot dengan radius-server.Kata Kunci: Routing, Gateway, Tunnel
