Abstract

Di Indonesia penyakit malaria masih merupakan masalah kesehatan yang serius, banyak dijumpai di luar pulau Jawa dan Bali terutama di Indonesia bagian Timur, malaria masih sering menimbulkan kejadian luar biasa (KLB). Survei kesehatan rumah tangga (SKRT) penyakit malaria klinis tahun 2001 sebesar 15 juta dengan 43 ribu meninggal dunia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan penggunaan kelambu berinsektisida dan kejadian malaria. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi adalah seluruh masyarakat yang diberi kelambu berinsektisida di Desa Teluk Kepayang Kecamatan Kusan Hulu Kabupaten Tanah Bumbu dengan sampel sebanyak 275 orang. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara penggunaan kelambu dengan kejadian malaria. Responden yang menggunakan kelambu sebanyak 208 orang, 190 orang diantaranya (91,3%) negatif malaria (p<0,05).

Abstract

Background: Adolescent reproductive health program is a description form of the mission of National Family Planning Coordination Body?s Program (BKKBN), which is preparing early qualified human resources in order to create qualified family in 2015. In order to guarantee the rights of sexual and? reproductive health youth provision, it is required an integrated and cross-sector effort. Reproductive health education activities that have been conducted in the schools is that health education is integrated into physical education and health lessons and biology.Objectives: This study aims to know the satisfaction of the senior high school students to adolescent reproductive health?s counseling, to know the implementation of adolescent reproductive health counseling and find out the coordination of reproductive health high school adolescents by BKKBN.Method: This research is experimental research with non-analytical with retrospective approach supported quantitative with qualitative methods.Results: Analysis of univariable that students who are not satisfied with adolescent reproductive health?s counseling are important as 30 respondents, the least important of 30 respondents. Bivariable analysis is bivariate relationship between counseling and satisfaction is significantly proven (at 5% error level).Conclusion: Counseling adolescent reproductive health in high school by BKKBN District Klaten not give satisfaction to the students. Implementation counseling adolescent reproductive health by BKKBN District Klaten not meet the needs of students, Espionage activities by BKKBN District Klaten program is still only knowledgeable about the needs of the urgency of adolescent reproduction, School has a new initiative to request assistance from the BKKBN but can not manage the service needs of adolescents. National Family Planning Coordination Body?s Program (BKKBN) is hoping to involve students in implementation strategy program to reach an effective activity.Keywords: satisfaction, implementation, counseling, coordination

Abstract

Introduction: Along with global tendency of increasing life expectancy, the number of elderly in Indonesia also tends to increase. To monitor the well-being of the elderly, both from the mental and the physical standpoints, the government-run integrated health service posts (Posyandu) hold a special program for the senior citizens. Aims: To analyze the association between families support and elderly visitation in Danau Panggang Health Center. Methods: This study used analytic survey with cross sectional design. The population were 378 elderly age 59 years old and older in Danau Panggang Health Center in 2015, and with Taro Yamane, the chosen sample was 194 elderly. The chi-square test was used for statistical analyses. Results: The study showed most of the respondents (56.7%) do not support and a majority of elderly do not actively participate (57.2%). Hypothesis test results showed that there is a correlation between family support and elderly participation to Posyandu with p-value = 0.000 < (α = 0.05). Conclusion: Family supports can increase elderly visitation to Posyandu. Participating in Posyandu activities and following the health officers’ directions prove beneficial to improve health conditions among the elderly. This research is expected to be an input for Posyandu to enhance its elderly program by optimizing the performance and presence of cadres in each activity.

Abstract

Traditionally, Dayak people in Central Kalimantan consumption Stenochlaena pallustris plants to stimulating milk production for new mothers. This is due to the nutritional value of Stenochlaena pallustris that contains lots of Fe. Fe element is useful in overcoming anemia problem, so consuming Stenochlaena pallustris can increase blood volume that stimulate milk production. This study aims to determine the effect of consumption of leaves Stenochlaena pallustris to the production of breastfeeding of postpartum mothers at the public health center of Gambut. This research use analytic survey design with cross sectional approach. The population of this research is all postpartum in Public Health Center of Gambut counted 75 people with sampling technique that is total sampling. The research instrument used is a checklist.The result of this research was the most of the respondents (66,7%) not consuming the Stenochlaena pallustris and the most of the respondents have production of ASI is sufficient that is 58 respondents (77,3%).&nbsp; Based on correlation analysis there is no influence of leaves consumption of Stenochlaena pallustris to milk production. It is expected that health workers, especially midwives, provide counseling or health education on how to process leaves Stenochlaena pallustris

Abstract

Inactive Medical Record is a medical record document that reaches for 5 years and never used to visit health service. Often the storage of inactive medical records is not properly managed. Many inactive medical record documents are stored and stacked on the floor because of insufficient shelf capacity.The purpose of this study is to understand the management of inactive medical records In ulin banjarmasin hospitals.The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive.The study subjects were inactive medical record storage officer, which consisted of a medical record head and two storage officers. Storage of inactive medical records is on the 6th floor and active medical records are on the 2nd floor, outpatient and inpatient are combined, on retention of inactive medical records are not stored in the form of microfilm and disk but stored in books and computer. In medical record room, there is no room temperature control, there is no humidity control room, and light arrangement of room using lamp. Maintenance of the record room cleaning inactive medical record storage is done by cleaning service, on the exchange of air through the door. There is no maintenance of the inactive medical record file, such as hygiene, air exchange and medical record control. In today's inactive medical record storage still uses a centralized system and an active medical record file using a decentralized system. The requirements of inactive medical record storage room on temperature control, storage shelves and humidity of the room do not use air conditioner. And there is no control on the maintenance of inactive medical records files such as cleanliness, air exchange. &nbsp;

Abstract

According to WHO, 40% of maternal death in the developing countries related to anemia in a pregnancy. The highest factor which influence anemia occurrence is obedience in consuming Fe tablet i.e 60% compare to other factors. The aim of this research is to know the relationship between obidiencein consuming Fe tablet and anemia in Aranio Health Center. This research using analytic survey with cross sectional approach. Subject of this research are the pregnant women of trimester II and trimester III amount 52 respondents which are taken by total population. The result of the research showed that most of pregnant women were not obedient in consuming Fe tablet were 38 women (73,1%), Most of them with anemia that are 44 women (84,6%). The result of statistical using chi square test showed there is correlation between the obidience in consuming Fe tablets with anemia occurrence in the Work Area of Aranio Health Center (p value = 0,000). Midwifes as care provider have to motivate the pregnant woment to understand about how important to consume Fe tablet during pregnancy in order to decrease anemia occurrence to the pregnant women.

Abstract

Ministry of Health, 2010 declare, besides of malnutrition, there are a lot of problems related nutritions that need more attention, they are; stunting or inhibition of body growth. Stunting is one form of malnutrition which is characterized by body length according to the age measured by WHO anthropometric standard. WHO data shows that Indonesian’s Children body length still left behind than childrens body length from another countries. Tanah laut health profile reports that prevalences of malnutrition in 2011 as 19,9% and short toddlers as 20%, very short as 8%. Bati-bati health center work area in 2012 obtained data nutritional status monitoring malnutrition as 13,9%, short 18,2%, and very short 7,8%. This research is to find the description of girls and boys body length for-age 0-36 month in banyu irang village year 2012. The type and design of the study was a discriptive,using toddler chart. Results, boys 0-36 month has a very short bodies as 4 peoples (5,5%) and short 9 peoples (12,3%), while the girls 0-36 months wich has very short bodies as 6 peoples (10%) and short 9 peoples (14,7%). The result of median anthropometric standard describe that the growth of girls body length for-age 0-36 months shows the pattern of growth is under the median standard line compared than boys median standard 0-36 monthsare mostly aligned with anthropometric median. The pattern of boys body length growth for-age 0-36 months is more stable when compared with the girls in banyu irang village bati-bati distrcit year 2012.

Abstract

Background : Cancer constitutes disease that really been discouraged society because frequent causes death. Breast cancer happens since be troubled sistem cell growth at deep breast network. To the effect : Knowing mother’s knowladge and attitude about early detection of breast cancer at Indonesian Cancer Foundation, South Kalimantan’s branch. 2014. Observational method : This research utilize descriptive method. Research is done April May 2014. Population are exhaustive mother about cancer early detection breast as much 70 person and sample that taking to utilize accidental is sampling . Observational instrument by use of kuesioner. Analysis did by analisis's data univariat's ala. Observational result: knowladge Level description and mother attitude about cancers early detection breast as much 70 mother that do early detection of breast cancer which is available 29 respondents (41,42%) with enough knowledge, 25 respondents (35,72%) with good knowledge, 16 respondents (22,86%) with subtracted knowledge. Meanwhile mother attitude to early detection of breast cancer available 45 respondents (64,28%) with positive attitude, and 25 respondents (35,72%) with negative attitude.

Abstract

Dysmenorrhea experienced by woman. The pain felt by every woman is different, it &nbsp;can be mild pain, moderate, or severe that interfere with daily activities and women's health. Turmeric, tamarind is a traditional herb that is believed to be hereditary cope with menstrual pain. This study aims to determine the effect of acid turmeric to the intensity of pain during menstruation in young girls at the senior high school level at Boarding School Darul Hijrah Puteri. This study is a pre-experimental with sampling technique with total sampling are 52 respondents. Measurement of menstrual pain using a pain scale from 0-10 (Comparative Pain Scale) on a checklist. Based on the research before giving turmeric, tamarind majority of respondents experienced mild pain as many as 32 respondents (61.5%), and after giving turmeric acid responde majority do not experience menstrual pain as many as 25 respondents (48.1%). Results Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test, obtain p value= 0.000 &lt; 0.05, so the hypothesis is accepting H1. Which means there are effect giving of turmeric tamarind against the current intensity of menstrual pain in adolescent senior high school level in Boarding School Darul Hijrah Puteri. Abstract

Background, achieve optimal growth and development, in the Global Strategy for Infant and Young Child Feeding, WHO / UNICEF recommend four important things to do, those are, first giving breast milk to the infant immediately within 30 minutes after the baby has born and then exclusive breastfeeding from birth until 6 months old infant, the third is supplement feeding (MP-ASI) since infants aged 6 months to 24 months besides breastfeeding, and continue breastfeeding until 24 months or more. Fact, there are still many mothers who are not breastfeed their babies exclusively, more than 50% infants in Indonesia have got extra food prematurely. The purpose of this study is to describe the level of mother’s knowledge about feeding in 0-6 months old infants. This is a descriptive study. Research sites in the Karang Bintang Public Health Centre, the sample study were mothers with babies 0-6 months ie 55 people. With the sampling method is Accidental sampling. Results showed that mother's knowledge of supplement feeding in infants aged 0-6 months in the Work Area of Karang Bintang Public Health Center in 2013 is just a few mothers who have good knowledge of infant feeding, which is 11 mothers (20.0%), while enough knowledge is 19 mothers (34.5%) and a less knowledge only 25 mothers (45.5%).
