There are several problems of potato seed in the production center of Kerinci. The purpose of the study was to develop strategies for developing potato seed farming at the production center of Kerinci. The primary data gained from the Focussed Group Discussion (FGD) to formulate internal and external factors in the development of potato seed farming. FGD’s participants were expert respondents stakeholders in potato farming in Kerinci. The analysis technique uses SWOT analysis and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). The results showed that there were four internal factors of strength such as of agroecological conditions, the existence of Potato Seedling Hall, the presence of breeders, and the development of processing industries. While three internal weaknesses were non-strategic locations, the dependent on seeds from outside the area, and limited seed supervisors. External factors of opportunity were preferred superior varieties, opportunities to be seed suppliers, and investment, as well as three threat external factors such as faked labeled seed, continuity of supply is not guaranteed, and the government is not paying enough attention to potato agribusiness. From these factors, eight alternative strategies were formulated. The results of AHP followed by sensitivity analysis indicate that the alternative policy that must be taken is strengthening the breeder to produce certified seeds and produce massively certified seeds at affordable prices.

The “native” or pribumi term as a narrative emerged into the public sphere and raises questions since October 16, 2017, whether the term is merely a conversation on the surface or more deeply describes the narrative that represents the socio-cultural aspect of Indonesian society. The study was conducted using twitter as a locus of observation within the period of November 8-16, 2017. Based on the idea that a social text reflects a narrative building constructed socio-cultural and leaves a long history trail, preliminary findings indicate that Indonesian society has a historical heritage of Dutch colonialism on native and non-native (Chinese/Tionghoa). The "native" narratives of the present are not only built on the issue of social inequalities between native versus Chinese, but rather show imaginations about the influence of the Chinese groups economic resources on power. The narrative does not only touch on the economic and political aspects, but also the religions, historically potentially becoming a conflict played by interest groups ahead of the 2018 elections and the 2019 presidential election. Suggestions for anticipating vulnerabilities are to conduct media literacy programs involving multiple stakeholders, both government and civil society, include scholars.

Improving the level of public health can be started by increasing sufficient knowledge about healthy lifestyles. The period of the elderly is a period of life that needs attention because this period is susceptible to disease. Community service activities aim to broaden the views on the importance of health for the elderly. This activity was carried out at the elderly Posyandu, Jiken Village, Tulangan, Sidoarjo in March to April 2019. The method used was observation, Point of Care Testing (POCT) training for Posyandu cadres, counseling and consultation regarding healthy lifestyles. The result of this activity is that Posyandu cadres can do Point of Care Testing (POCT) and can implement it continuously because the simple medical devices they have are complete. In addition, the elderly people are increasingly enthusiastic to come to the posyandu. This can be seen from the list of visits and activeness of the elderly in participating in the whole series of activities while in the posyandu.

Mango seeds containing oil of about 20-37%, is one source of vegetable oil that has not been touched. Mango seed oil contains polyphenols, so the potential is developed as a functional food. Mango seed oil contains high solid, it can be developed into a product resembling spreadable margarine. The aim of this study was to determine the ratio of solvent, temperature, and time is optimum for extracting mango seed oil. Mango seed oil has been extracted by multistage extraction with hexane and ethanol. Extraction process was performed using reflux method at 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60°C, for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 hours, with solvent ratio of 1: 2, 1: 3, 1: 4, 1: 5, 1: 6. The results showed that the ratio of solvent 1: 4, 50°C for 4 hours is the best condition for extracting mango seed oil by multistage extraction using n-hexane and ethanol.

This study was conducted to determine and analyze the effect of Location (X1) and Brand Image (X2) on The Purchase Decision (Y) on the consumer KFC Pier Point Palembang. This study uses primary data obtained through questionnaires, samples taken by 100 respondents using method purposive sampling. The analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis, F test and T test results of research on the F test showed a significant value of 0.000, which means independent variables consisting of Location (X1) and Brand Image(X2) together (simultaneously) the positive effect and significant impact on Purchase Decision (Y) in purchase and consume products in KFC Pier Point Palembang. The study also showed partial that variable Location (X1) and Brand Image (X2) has positive and significant influence on the Purchase Decision (Y) in purchase and consume products in KFC Pier Point Palembang. Keywords : location and brand image, purchase decision

Typhoid fever is a disease caused by Salmonella typhi infection. This disease is still a global problem. The purpose of this study was to develop a rapid detection method for Salmonella using molecular methods utilizing Inv A and Fim-C Genes. Two methods compared, which are Multiplex and monoplex PCR. The sample is in the form of the patient's blood, which is stored at 3 ml EDTA vacutainer tube consisting of 10 positive samples and five negative samples. The criteria for samples used previously have tested by widal/ immunoserology (titer more than 1/160). The results showed that multiplex PCR for detection of Salmonella using the Inv A gene and fim c gene not recommended because too many bands produced. The application of monoplex in the Inv A gene gives better results than the Fim C gene. In conclusion, the monoplex application on Inv A gene recommended than Fim C gene used to detect S. typhi in human blood samples.

Type II Diabetes Mellitus is a disorder caused by genetic and environmental factors. Molecular analysis of T2DM abnormalities has been carried out. But the analysis in sample preparation especially the stages of DNA isolation has not been done much. The aims of this study are to investigate the effect of temperature, storage duration and level of white blood cell (WBC) with Genome Quality in T2DM. The treatment (n:10) which were divided into several tubes and then stored at 4 °?, 25 °? and 32 °? for 21 days. To determining storage duration effect, we use periodically isolation of DNA (3, 15 and 30 days) after sampling. The effect of WBC with DNA quality was carried out using 17 samples. DNA isolation was done by the DNA Isolation Kit manual without modification and then tested qualitatively and quantitatively. Based on this research, it can be concluded there is a correlation between the numbers of WBC with DNA quality. The higher the number of WBC, the higher DNA concentration (r: 0.818. p value: 0.000). The concentration of DNA at a temperature of 4°? (135.1 ± 165.2 ng / µl) was higher compared with the temperature treatment 25 ° ? (29.7 ± 36.5 ng / µl) and 32 ° ? (22.14 ± 7.13 ng / µl) (p
