Abstract

Peramalan harga tanaman pangan perlu dirancang untuk memberikan stimulus kepada para pengambil keputusan terkait dengan kebijakan stabilisasi harga pangan, tendensi harga masa depan, dan jadwal tanam yang dapat memaksimumkan  laba.  Kajian dilakukan berdasarkan tingkat harga bulanan komoditas tanaman pangan  bulan  Januari 2000-Juli 2011 di Kabupaten Sleman, D.I. Yogyakarta. Metode penilaian Mean Square Error (MSE) dan Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) dengan toleransi validitas 15 persen digunakan untuk menentukan komoditas tanaman pangan dari 324 percobaan yang memiliki performansi terbaik. Dari 6 jenis komoditas tanaman pangan yang menjadi objek kajian, arsitektur JST yang paling baik diperoleh dari komoditas beras IR64 dengan arsitekur [12 – 32 – 1], nilai laju pembelajaran 1,75 dan kisaran transformasi data terletak pada [0 dan 1], dengan nilai MSE dan MAPE pelatihan, pengujian dan validasi berturut-turut adalah [0,00125 dan 2,807 %], [0,0219 dan 3,289 %], [0,0244 dan 3,575 %]. Kata kunci: sistem pendukung keputusan, jaringan syaraf tiruan, peramalan harga,                          tanaman pangan.

Abstract

The determination of the main product of plantation commodity in kolaka has not been done. The purpose of this research were to composing an order of main product of plantation commodity in Kolaka. The object of this research were alternative 17 of plantation commodity. The determination of strategic indicators as the selection criteria of the main products were done by a panel of researchers that experts in different fields in plantation scope. In the effort to reach of the consensus, they were accordance with the Delphi Method. There are seven strategic indicators used as the criteria in determination of the main product of plantation commodity in Kolaka as followed: (1) based on the local resource potential, (2) enhancing to acces domestic and global market, (3) to produce high added value, (4) supported by technology and qualified human resources, (5) eco-friendly product by applying eco-friendly technology and have optimum agriculture waste as well as apply good waste management, (6) implement cooperation principle and business oriented, and (7) administratively and economically feasible for business development. The result of score calculation on the each indicator showed that the main product of plantation commodity were cacao on the first with score 4.6, clove and pepper on the second with score 4.3, and cashew, coconut, and coffee on the third with score 4.2.ABSTRAKPenentuan produk unggulan komoditas perkebunan di Kabupaten Kolaka selama ini belum dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memunculkan suatu urutan produk unggulan komoditas perkebunan di Kabupaten Kolaka. Objek penelitian ini adalah 17 alternatif komoditas perkebunan. Penetapan indikator strategis sebagai kriteria pemilihan produk unggulan komoditas perkebunan dilakukan oleh sekelompok panel peneliti yang memiliki latar belakang kebidangan berbeda dalam lingkup perkebunan.  Dalam upaya mencapai konsensus, maka dilakukan dengan Metode Delphi. Ada tujuh indikator strategis digunakan sebagai kriteria penetapan produk unggulan komoditas perkebunan: (1) berbasis kepada potensi sumber daya lokal, (2) memiliki kesempatan yang tinggi untuk akses pada pasar domestik dan dunia, (3) menghasilkan nilai tambah yang tinggi, (4) didukung oleh teknologi dan sumber daya manusia yang handal, (5) ramah lingkungan, dengan menerapkan teknologi yang ramah dan bersih terhadap lingkungan,  pemanfaatan limbah pertanian yang optimal, serta menerapkan manajemen limbah yang baik, (6) melaksanakan prinsip-prinsip kerjasama dengan orientasi bisnis, dan (7) secara administratif dan ekonomi layak bagi pengembangan bisnis. Hasil perhitungan skor setiap indikator menunjukkan bahwa sebagai produk unggulan komoditas perkebunan adalah kakao di urutan pertama skor 4,6, cengkeh dan lada di urutan ke dua skor 4,3, jambu mete, kelapa,dan kopi di urutan ke tiga skor 4,2.

Abstract

Decision Support System Based on Artificial Neural Networks For Food Crop Commodities Price Forecasting was designed to provide a stimulus for decision makers concerning food price stabilization, future price trend and available planting schedule policies which enable to maximize the profit. The main purpose of this study is to make the design of Decision Support System (DSS) by firstly analyzing the architecture of Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) that appropriate to be used as forecasting method/model base of the DSS. The study was done by using the monthly prices of the food crop commodities in Sleman Regency, D.I. Yogyakarta province, from January 2000 to July 2011. The best architecture was selected based on the lowest value of Mean Square Error (MSE) and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) from system training, testing and validation result. Then, the best architecture was designed to be the model base of the DSS as well as the database, user interface and elements of knowledge by using the decision support system developing phases and programmed with delphi programming. From the 324 trials unit of the ANN architecture analysis for each commodity, it has been obtained that there was a best ANN architecture for each commodity and valid to be used as the forecasting method with 15% tolerance of MAPE. From 6 varieties of food crop as the object of study, the very best ANN architecture derived from rice IR64 with the architecture [12 – 32 – 1], learning rate 1,75 and the transformation range of the data [0 and 1], with consecutive value of MSE and MAPE in training, testing and validation process was [0,00125 and 2,807%], [0,0219 and 3,289%], [0,0244 and 3,575%]. Based on the validation result, the limit of the forecasting period that still valid to be done by the system was in the next 12 months. The result show that the performance of ANN architecture decrease in terms of price fluctuating sharply, due to the lack of some factors that force price fluctuation. Therefore the development of the ANN architecture was needed as the model base of the DSS in order to improve the ability of the system to provide the better decision support.AbstrakSistem pendukung keputusan berbasis jaringan saraf tiruan untuk peramalan harga tanaman pangan dirancang untuk membantu memberikan stimulus bagi para pengambil keputusan perihal kebijakan stabilisasi harga pangan, tren harga masa depan dan jadwal tanam yang memungkinkan untuk memaksimalisasi keuntungan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah rancang bangun Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) dengan terlebih dahulu menganalisis arsitektur Jaringan Saraf Tiruan (JST) yang paling tepat untuk digunakan sebagai metode peramalan/subsistem model SPK. Kajian dilakukan dengan menggunakan tingkat harga bulanan komoditas tanaman pangan di Kabupaten Sleman, D.I. Yogyakarta bulan Januari 2000 – Juli 2011. Arsitektur JST terbaik dipilih berdasarkan pada nilai Mean Square Error (MSE) dan Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) yang paling kecil dari hasil pelatihan, pengujian dan validasi sistem. Arsitektur terbaik kemudian dirancang menjadi subsistem model SPK bersamaan dengan basis data, tampilan antarmuka dan komponen pengetahuan dengan menggunakan fase-fase perancangan sistem pendukung keputusan dan diprogram dengan bahasa pemrograman delphi. Dari 324 percobaan analisis arsitektur JST untuk masing-masing komoditas, diperoleh satu arsitektur JST dengan performa terbaik untuk masing-masing komoditas dan valid untuk digunakan sebagai metode peramalan dengan toleransi MAPE 15%. Dari 6 jenis komoditas tanaman pangan yang menjadi objek kajian, arsitektur JST yang paling baik diperoleh dari komoditas beras IR64 dengan arsitekur [12 – 32 – 1], nilai laju pembelajaran 1,75 dan kisaran transformasi data terletak pada [0 dan 1], dengan nilai MSE dan MAPE pelatihan, pengujian dan validasi berturut-turut adalah [0,00125 dan 2,807%], [0,0219 dan 3,289%], [0,0244 dan 3,575%]. Berdasarkan hasil validasi, batas jangka waktu peramalan maksimal yang valid untuk dilakukan oleh sistem adalah selama 12 bulan ke depan. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa arsitektur JST yang digunakan mengalami penurunan performa pada bagian pola harga yang berfluktuasi dengan tajam, hal ini disebabkan karena arsitektur JST yang digunakan tidak memperhitungkan faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya fluktuasi harga, untuk itu perlu pengembangan arsitektur JST sebagai subsistem model SPK guna meningkatkan kemampuan sistem memberikan dukungan keputusan yang lebih baik.

Abstract

The development of plantation agro-industry should refer to primary commodity approach. Until now there is no accurate reference for government Kolaka. The diversifications of products and by-product have not developed yet. The objectives of this research were to formulate development strategy of regional potential of the prime plantation agro industry. The object of this research is six primary commodities of plantation; those are cacao, clover, pepper, cashew, coconut, and coffee in Kolaka Regency with Delphi and SWOT methods. The research results showed that the development strategy of regional potential of the prime plantation agro industry there are at quadrant I or that strategy was created by using all the power to take advantage of opportunities that an aggressive strategy by doing independence improvement of the farmers through development and counseling, partnership development on agro-industry activities in the effort of giving additional value of production.

Abstract

Consumer of wheat flour in Indonesia have at present more possibilities to choose the wheat flour because of more wheat flour products in market since governmental deregulation in October 1998. They choose the wheat flour based on their proposed final products and characteristics. Informations such nutritional facts, usage, expired date of wheat flour written in their packaging, but unfortunately those information does not depict the real condition. This can influence on the consumer preference. The research was conducted to identify the consumers preferences on packaging design and nutritional fact in the wheat flour. Straified random sampling with the family welfare level based on BKKBN criteria was used in this research. Questionnaire was tested for validity and reliability by confidence level 95%, significance level 5 % and error sample 10 %. The result depicted that consumer index of packaging design for middle level 4.113 and 4.142 for high level respectively. The information of nutritional fact was ranked in second place for the second family welfare level. Based on the chi square test, the result depicted there were no differences among education level, age, sosial level and occupation to the consumer preferences on the nutritional facts. The result of t-paired test showed, there were significance differences on water and carbohydrate contents between the laboratorys determination and nutritional fact label. Meanwhile the ash and protein contents showed no differences.

Abstract

Local tuber crops are increasingly forced to exist, both because of the absence of market needs and the decrease of cultivation. In line with the carbohydrate diversification program, it is necessary to reformulate the current government policies related to tubers. The purpose of this study was to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in the development of tubers, and formulate development strategies in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach, with SWOT techniques and disaggregation strategies. Based on this study, the government must improve coordination between agencies or institutions related to tubers, develop subsidy schemes to improve farmers competitiveness through a more equitable system, and empower farmer groups, as well as develop cooperation in distribution networks and tubers information.

Abstract

The aim of this study research was to indentify wheat flour segmentation based on household consumer. Samples of this research were CK, KB and SB. The research method was "Stratified Random Sampling". Respondents for questionaire were chosen from consumers who were divided into three level based on welfare society of BKKBN Yogyakarta called higher, middle and lower consumer welfare. The three different level society had different decision to buy products for their need. The segmentation due to the consumer need was needed to homogenize their needs. The result of this research showed that there was an interantion between level of societys welfare and knowledge of wheat flour utilization. It mean that the highest class level knew more about wheat flour utilization. The processed product depended on chosen brand of wheat flour, but there was not an interaction between consumer society level and the chosen product brand of wheat flour. Consumer had difference knowlegde on utilization of CK and KB. For lower and middle class level, and middle and higher class level had similar decision of wheat flour utilization. For higher and lower class level, there was difference knowledge of utilization of wheat flour KB.

Abstract

The growth of income, knowledge, jobs, and work places supported the existence of the food service industry to fulfill the societys need To increase the consumers satisfaction, it was needed to measure the service quality. The service quality was measured based on several variables: tangibles, responsiveness, reliability, assurance, and empathy, which ordered by SERVQUAL instruments. The research was conducted by using questionnaire which was spread out to the consumers. The research methodology was purposive random sampling. The data were analyzed by product moment correlation test and Alpha technique for reliability test. The assumption for the double regression model had to fulfill following criterias: no multicolinearity no autocorrelation, and heteroscedasticity which could be ignored. The results showed, that consumers acceptance level for service quality was high, which could be ranked as follow: reliability (highest), assurance, tangibles, responsiveness, and empathy (lowest). Double regression model for the quality service was : Y = 1.377 + 3.99x10-2X17.278x104X2– 4.673x10-2X3 + 0.118X, + 2.381x102X3, which meant variable assurance (X4) gave the highest contribution to the consumers satisfaction

Abstract

This research investigated the feasibility study on the development of silkworm (ulat sutera) industry. First investigation was conducted on must aspect for demand and supply condition, product price, market share, and marketing strategy. Second, technical aspect includes product capacity, break even point, process technology, location, and lay out. Third, financial aspect was focused on the pay back period, profitability index, internal rate of return, and net present value. Finally, organization and management aspect was analyzed for companys effectivity and efficiency.

Abstract

Level of the product availability becomes a problem at the company, because of the fluctuation and the uncertainty of demand from the consumer and happened when the company determined the cycle service level which is the indica- tor of supply chain performance in fulfilling the availability of the product and avoiding either stock out or over stock in replenishment cycle. This research was conducted at UD As-Salam. The aim was to improve supply chain perfor- mance through determining the optimal cycle service level of product availability. Therefore, it was needed to set up the optimal level of product availability to optimize the profit. There were some steps that were taken in this research: determining the optimal cycle service level, optimal order size, expected profit, and sensitivity analysis between optimal cycle service level and expected profit. The result showed that the cost of under stocking and over stocking were 4,144 rupiahs and 6,573 rupiahs, respectively. The optimal cycle service level was 63 % with optimal order size was 2,842 kgs/month. This value improves the company’s profit in the amount of 11,043,570 rupiahs. The improvement of supply chain performance based on product availability analysis could increase profit up to 127,891 rupiahs.ABSTRAKLevel ketersediaan produk menjadi permasalahan pada objek penelitian ini karena adanya fluktuasi dan ketidak- pastian permintaan dari konsumen yang timbul ketika pelaku usaha telah menentukan cycle service level. Hal ini menjadi indikator kinerja supply chain dalam memenuhi ketersediaan produk dan menghindari kekurangan stok atau- pun kelebihan stok di siklus replenishment. Penelitian dilakukan di UD As-Salam, dan bertujuan untuk memperbaiki kinerja supply chain dari sisi product availability. Perlu ditetapkan optimal level of product availability agar mampu mengoptimalkan profit. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan penentuan optimal cycle service level, optimal order size, expected profit, dan analisis sensitivitas terhadap optimal cycle service level dengan expected profit. Hasil peneli- tian menunjukan bahwa nilai cost of understocking adalah Rp 4.144,00 dan cost of overstocking adalah Rp 6.573,00. Nilai optimal cycle service level dapat dicapai pada level 63% dengan optimal order size 2.842 kg per bulan. Nilai ini mampu memberikan profit sebesar Rp 11.043.570,00. Peningkatan kinerja berdasarkan analisa product availability akan  memberikan peningkatan profit sebesar Rp 127.891,00 pada perusahaan.
