Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang modifikasi lempung dengan cara pilarisasi menggunakan oksida besi dengan bantuan surfaktan CTAB. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan pengaruh konsentrasi surfaktan CTAB pada proses modifikasi lempung dengan oksida besi sebagai pemilar. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tahap awal yaitu preparasi lempung untuk memisahkan pengotor dalam lempung alam kemudian diaktivasi menggunakan larutan NaCl dan diperoleh lempung homoionik Na. Modifikasi lempung dilakukan dengan penambahan surfaktan CTAB dengan variasi konsentrasi dan hasilnya dikarakterisasi menggunakan FTIR dan XRD. Pilarisasi lempung dilakukan dengan larutan pemilar polioksokation besi kemudian dikalsinasi dan hasilnya dikarakterisasi menggunakan BET. Spektra FTIR menunjukkan bahwa modifikasi lempung menggunakan surfaktan CTAB telah berhasil dilakukan. Difraktogram XRD menunjukkan bahwa interkalasi surfaktan CTAB menyebabkan peningkatan basal spacing terbaik pada CTA-Mont1 sebesar 2,35 nm dari basal spacing lempung awal sebesar 1,59 nm. Hasil analisis BET menunjukkan peningkatan jari-jari pori rata-rata, luas permukaan, dan volume pori total Oksida Besi-Mont1 dari 5,76 nm, 52,83 m2/g dan 0,15 cm3/g menjadi 8,14 nm, 80,73 m2/g, dan 0,33 cm3/g.

Abstract

This article will argue that intuition-based description by native speakers to some extent may not be accurate in depicting what people really say and think about the language. Since the problem of learning a second language is essentially lexical, the introduction of machine-readable text corpora has been seen as an alternative for describing lexical behaviour of a natural language and media which second language teachers and learners can benefit from (see Fox, 1988, Willis, 1990, Francis, 1993). The corpus programs such as Concordancing, Sentence, and Collocation are capable of providing data of lexical properties, and thus, overcoming the failings of intuition. In addition, it also helps learners and teachers understand the characteristics of lexicon, various meanings of the word and acquire its syntactic properties

Abstract

Radiation shield frame holder is an important part of scintigraphy which is used to support in various operating conditions, so that the strength of the frame must be considered in the manufacturing process and material selection. In this analisis two operational conditions was considered, namely when the position detector towards the bottom (directly above the patient) and at the detector to one side direction, because the conditions have maximum loads on the operational. The analisis process was carried out on the section by giving a static load and simulated in ANSYS software. The purpose of this analisis was to determine the deformation or vector transition and critical areas of the structure that has been created. Analisis result shows that Von Misses stress has maximum of 2.2399 x 107 N/m2 for the position under the direction of the detector with vector shift or deformation value of 0.2626 mm and a maximum Von Misses 2.6452 x 107 N/m2 for the position detector to one side and shift vector or deformation value of 0.25329 mm. Analisis result is expected to be good suggestion to the structure that has been made or will be developed both in the safety and selection of the material.  ANALISIS STATIK RANGKA PEMEGANG PERISAI RADIASI PADA ALAT SCINTIGRAPHY MENGGUNAKAN SOFTWARE ANSYS. Rangka pemegang perisai radiasi merupakan bagian penting dari alat scintigraphy yang berfungsi sebagai peyangga perisai radiasi dalam berbagai kondisi operasionalnya, sehingga kekuataan rangka harus diperhatikan dalam proses pembuatan maupun pemilihan materialnya. Dalam analisis ini ditetapkan dua kondisi operasional yaitu saat posisi detektor kearah bawah (tepat di atas pasien) dan pada saat detektor kearah samping, dikarenakan beban maksimum terjadi pada kondisi operasional tersebut. Proses analisis dilakukan pada kondisi tersebut dengan memberikan beban statik yang disimulasikan dalam software ANSYS. Tujuan analisis ini adalah untuk mengetahui deformasi atau vektor peralihan yang terjadi serta daerah kritis dari struktur yang sudah dibuat. Setelah proses analisis dilakukan maka didapatkan tegangan Von Misses maksimum sebesar 2,2399 x 107 N/m2 untuk posisi detektor kearah bawah, juga didapatkan vektor peralihan/ deformasi sebesar 0,2626 mm serta Von Misses maksimum sebesar 2,6452 x 107 N/m2 untuk posisi detektor kearah samping dan vektor peralihan/ deformasi sebesar 0,25329 mm. Hasil analisis ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan masukkan yang baik untuk struktur yang sudah dibuat maupun yang akan dikembangkan baik dalam proses keselamatan maupun pemilihan material.

Abstract

Theory of Electromagnetism and Planck constant have important role in the development of light theory. Electromagnetism theory explains the velocity of light is constant and finite because light is phenomenon of propagation of Electromagnetism Wave. Distribution of Planck Radiation that introduces Planck constant also based on the theory of Electromagnetism, however, now light treated like as a particle. Planck constant not only radically changes concept of light but also has be main source of the birth of Modern Physics. An interesting thing to investigate connection between Maxwell equation that well known with concept of classically Physics and Planck constant, a constant that often used in Quantum Mechanics. Deriving Planck constant from Maxwell Equation can be done by understanding study of Radiation Quantization that based on the assumption. First, Electromagnetism wave is on the vacuum space so there is no charge and current. Second, Hamiltonian of Radiation stated by Hamiltonian of Harmonic Oscillation. Third, mass of Photon regarded does not affect Hamiltonian of Radiation because it is difficult to determine rest mass of Photon. Fourth, Dirac postulate used as non commutable multiplication rule of position and momentum coordinate. In this research has obtained an elaborate explanation deriving Planck constant from Maxwell equation that can be shorted as follow. From Maxwell equation will be derived Maxwell wave equation that consist of Vector Potential Fields. Its form similar with Harmonic Oscillation function so Hamiltonian Radiation can be stated as Hamiltonian of Harmonic Oscillation. By Using Dirac postulate, Oscillation Harmonics can be studied in Quantum Mechanic so will be obtained  Planck constant that contained on the Fourier Coefficient Operator.   Keywords : Maxwell Equation, Planck Constant, Fourier Coefficient Operator.

Abstract

Abstract Ferrite as magnetic material has been exploited for various the application for exampleas electronic peripherals and optic like hard magnetic also soft magnetic materials. For theapplication of high frequency usually exploited as circulator, phase shifter and absorber and antidetection material. In research has been done synthesis and characterization of sewer structuresnanocristall barium phase hexaferrite substitution is partial with ion Manganese and Titaniumthrough mechanics engineering alloy. Indicated that monophase formation of Barium Hexaferriteis substitution by Mn+2 and Ti+4 happened at growth temperature above 7500 C. At low relativetemperature 5000 C and 750 0 C , 8500 C and 10000 C  result of plant from mechanics processalloy is not happened formation of phase, but only experiences recrystallization to returnfollowed with magnification growth of grain its. Above heating 7500 C plant grain desisted andhappened orthogonal transformation of off the cuff phase towards formation of bariumhexaferrite substitution by Mn+2 and Ti+4 ions. Abstract

The Barium hexaferrite well known by permanen magnet which have prime properties for microwave application. The properties of Barium hexaferrite modified by substitution of MnCo and Ti have been investigated. Material was produced by sol-gel processing. Analysis of composition, crystal structure, refinement, microstructure and grain size, hysterisies and microwave characteristic respectively done by means of EDX, XRD, GSAS, SEM, magnetometers and wave guide at frequency1-17GHz. The formed crystal structure were hexagonal with the grain size is 500 nm, saturation magnetisation, field of coercivities , and remaneninduction respectively is 0.32 T,  3.8 kA/m and 0.04 T. The substitution of Fe3+ ion, resulted on decreasing the value of Ms, Hc , Rr and range of microwave absorbtion respectively. Abstract

Cationic interaction of Mn+2and Ti +4substitution on conventional hexaferriteBaFe O have been studied using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and  analysis by the Rietveld method. These Research was conducted by combining compound of Fe O12 19 TiO2 to form  (Fe,MnTi)2O  phase3BaCO3 phase and heated at 1200. Then, Compound of (Fe,MnTi)0 C to form of BaFe12-2xresult of rietveld analysisshowed that the composition of Hexaferrite BaFe22 3, MnCO  and3O  phase mixed withMn Ti O3x x 19 compounds. The  as main phase and Fe2Oas a second phase. At all compositions showed that the largerfraction of ions Mn+23  and Ti+4 ions able to change latice parameter from  the volume unitcell of conventional hexaferrite. The results reatveld iteration of the phaseBaFe MnTiO (x = 1.0) obtained values of lattice parameters a = 5.9116 Ǻ and c =23.2532 Ǻ or shrinkage abaut 5,0 % volume unit cell and at  BaFe Mn Ti O10 19 (x=2.5)the volume unit cell 7,0% lower  than conventional hexaferrite.Keywords: Rietveld, unit cell, substitusi io,  hexaferrite, 12-2x7 2.5 2.5 19Mn Ti Ox x 19

Abstract

Bali cattle is one of the Indonesian germplasm that well adapted to suboptimal areas including East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). Difficulties in accessing capital became one of the factors that hamper effort the development of Bali cattle in larger scale. One alternative to access capital is through partnership model of Bali cattle fattening based on local resources. Partnership model of Bali cattle fattening was intiated by village cooperative centre (pusat koperasi unit desa =PUSKUD) since 2002 in Kupang District, South Central Timor District, North Central Timor District, and Belu District. Profit sharing in this program is 70% for farmers and 30% for PUSKUD NTT. The partnership program has been performing well and growing rapidly. On the other hand, some problems occurred such as cattle death and forced sale due to lack of feed, especially during dry season. In its development, the partnership model has resulted in empowering farmers through increasing income and employment.

Abstract

Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan aplikasi Web GIS untuk membantu proses pengambilan keputusan dalam penanggulangan bencana banjir lahar terutama pada tahap tanggap darurat dan pemulihan dari dampak bencana pada infrastruktur di Kabupaten Sleman. Kuesioner dan wawancara semi-terstruktur yang digunakan untuk menginventarisir kebutuhan sistem, ketersediaan data, prosedur kolaborasi, dan evaluasi dari prototype aplikasi yangtelah dibuat. Aplikasi yang telah dibangun dilengkapi dengan analisis spasial khusus untuk pemilihan lokasi hunian sementara, dan beberapa alat untuk memilih prioritas pada perbaikan infrastruktur menggonakan hexagonal grid model. Hasil evaluasi dari prototype menunjukan bahwa hampir semua responden memberikan penilaian yang baik untuk sistem. 80% dari mereka setuju bahwa aplikasi ini akan sangat berguna. Namun, beberapa saran dan masukan perlu diakomodasi untuk membuat sistem sepenuhnya diimplementasikan dan user friendly.Kata kunci : lahar, manajemen bencana, Web GIS, dan MCDA

Abstract

Indonesia has a lot of mining material of iron ore that could be used for various purposes in the steel industry or for pigment manufacturing. This research, has synthesized the Hematite (α-Fe2O3) pigment manufacture through a precipitation mechanism. The iron ore powder is mixed with HCl and NH4OH, then it is dried at a temperature of 150oC and calcinated at a temperature of 500oC and 800oC for knowing the formation temperature of  α-Fe2O3 crystal’s structure. Next, the synthesis results are characterized with XRD at 2θ from 10o to 80o with a sampling pitch of 0,02o. Synthesis results show that the raw material has a lattice parameter values a = b = 5,017 Ǻ and c = 13,652 Ǻ after purifying, the values of lattice parameter become a = b = 5,030 Ǻ and c = 13,739 Ǻ which appropriate with standard of ICDD No. 33-0664. The crystallite size is at range of 40 nm while the lattice strain at 1,700 x 10-4 to 3,500 x 10-4. The results of the color test indicate calcination value L * a * b * = 28,36, 27,86, 30,24 at temperature of 500oC where as at 800oC of the calcination temperature obtain values L * a * b * = 20,47, 22,42, 18,17.Keywords: iron ore, pigments, α-Fe2O3, precipitation
