Abstract

Abstract; The research was aimed at finding out effectiveness of backward chaining method in teaching self managenet skills, especially in putting on T-shirt skills to the  imbeciles of elementary level. The research objects incvluded imbeciles student of elementary level III of special scholls “C” in Makassar City.The research applied an exceptional method with Posttest Only Control Design. The research has two group, experiment and control group.The treatment was self management skill exercises, especially putting on T-shirt excercises using backward chaining method. Data collection was conducted through the direct observation to the students performance in doing the tasks given, especially in putting on T-shirts.The result of research show the existence of difference of efficacy of child of imbecil elementary class three in special scholls “C” Makassar City in putting on T-shirt among the student was trained using backward chaining method with conventional method. This matter indicate that there is influence of applying of backward chaining method to ability in putting on T-shirt of imbecil elementary levels in special scholls “C” Makassar City, so that can be used as an alternative method  in the teaching of self management skills to the imbeciles.

Abstract

The ability of blind students of class VII in SLB-A YAPTI Makassar in operating the multiplication decker is still very low. To improve the ability of the tiled multiplication operation attempted by applying techniques used polamatika. This study uses a quantitative approach and use this type of experimental research methods. Experimental research design used is Single Subject Research ABA (A (Baseline 1) - B (Intervention) - A (Baseline 2)). Subjects examined in this study is one student with low vision, 7th level at SLB-A YAPTI Makassar. Data collection techniques in this research is through tests and observation. The data obtained were processed by descriptive quantitative. The results showed that the ability of the tiled multiplication operation on low vision students of class VII in SLB-A YAPTI Makassar after using the technique of polamatika on the number of tens of tiled multiplication operations with units, with dozens to tens able to achieve the target behavior, although the operations Stackable multiplying numbers with hundreds and hundreds to tens unit yet fully achieve the target behavior. Based on these results it can be concluded that an increase in the ability of the tiled multiplication operation on low vision students in SLB-A YAPTI Makassar after using the polamatika techniqueKemampuan siswa tunanetra kelas VII di SLB-A YAPTI Makassar dalam mengoperasikan perkalian bersusun masih sangat rendah. Untuk meningkatkan kemampuan operasi perkalian bersusun dicoba dengan menerapkan teknik polamatika. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan jenis metode penelitian eksperimen. Desain penelitian eksperimen yang dipergunakan adalah Single Subject Research A-B-A (A (Baseline 1) - B (Intervensi) - A (Baseline 2)). Subyek penelitian adalah Subjek yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini adalah satu orang siswa tunanetra laki-laki jenis low vision, inisial HD, kelas VII di SLB-A YAPTI Makassar. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah melalui tes dan observasi. Data yang diperoleh diolah secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kemampuan operasi perkalian bersusun pada siswa low vision kelas VII di SLB-A YAPTI Makassar setelah menggunakan teknik polamatika pada operasi perkalian bersusun bilangan puluhan dengan satuan, dan puluhan dengan puluhan, dapat mencapai target behavior, meskipun pada operasi perkalian bersusun bilangan ratusan dengan satuan dan ratusan dengan puluhan belum dapat sepenuhnya mencapai target behaviour. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kemampuan operasi perkalian bersusun pada siswa low vision di SLB-A YAPTI Makassar setelah menggunakan teknik polamatika.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.17977/um029v4i22017p136

Abstract

This study aims to determine personality competence, social competence and academic supervision of high school supervisors as well as the influence of personality and social competencies on the implementation of academic supervision conducted by high school supervisors. The type of research is ex post facto research. The study population was all permanent teachers with the status of civil servants (PNS) in State High Schools in Luwu Regency. The study sample consisted of 152 teachers obtained by the proportional simple random sampling technique. The data of this study were collected using the personality and social competency instruments of the supervisor and the implementation of academic supervision in the form of questionnaires with a Likert scale model. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that: (1) the competence of personality and social competence of high school supervisors is in the very high and high category, and the implementation of supervisory academic supervision in high schools is in the good category. (2) The supervisory personality and social competencies in high school together have a positive effect on the supervisory academic supervision, and (3) Personality competency and supervisory social competence each have a positive influence on the implementation of supervisory academic supervision in high school.

Abstract

This research is a survey research that is focused on the ability of students to solve mathematical problems. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between learning motivation and self-concept of students with the ability to solve mathematical problems, both together and individually. The population of the study is 2017/2018 odd semester students of Mathematics Education Study Program FMIPA UNM Makassar. Sampling is used random class. Data obtained through instruments: 1) learning motivation scale, 2) self concept scale, 3) test mathematical problem solving ability. Data were analyzed by multiple regression. The conclusions obtained are 1) learning motivation has a positive relationship with mathematical problem solving abilities, 2) self-concept has a positive relationship with mathematical problem solving abilities, and 3) contribution of motivation and self-concept to mathematical problem solving by 71%. It is expected that other researchers to expand the population and add independent variables that theoretically adhere to mathematical problem solving abilities

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei yang difokuskan pada kemampuan mahasiswa dalam pemecahan masalah matematika. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan motivasi belajar dan konsep diri mahasiswa dengan kemampuan pemecahkan masalah matematika, baik bersama-sama maupun sendiri-sendiri. Populasi penelitian yaitu mahasiswa semester ganjil 2017/2018 Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika FMIPA UNM Makassar. Pengambilan sampel digunakan random kelas. Data diperoleh melalui instrumen: 1) skala motivasi belajar, 2) skala konsep diri, 3) tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika. Data dianalisis dengan regresi ganda. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh adalah 1) motivasi belajar mempunyai hubungan positif dengan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika, 2) konsep diri mempunyai hubungan positif dengan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika, dan 3) kontribusi motivasi dan konsep diri terhadap pemecahan masalah matematika sebesar 71%. Diharapkan kepada peneliti lain untuk memperluas populasi dan menambah variabel bebas yang secara teoretis mempengatuhi kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika
