Abstract

Kejar Paket B is a non-formal education which is the same to Junior High Schools. Curriculum of Kejar Paket B is also the same to a given curriculum on Junior High Schools. Although having the same curriculum, but it has different implementation of the learning process. One of these facilities in terms of the learning process, teachers often make the conventional learning.The objective  of this research is to evaluate the implementation of learning mathematics in Semarang Kejar Paket B using CIPP model (Context, Input, Process, Product). This research consists of four evaluation, namely: (1) the context evaluation, (2) the input evaluation, (3) the process evaluation, and (4) the results evaluation. This research used a qualitative approach. The results showed that the instruments used in the evaluation of the learning process using CIPP model can be used with little revision. Moreover the process of implementation of the researchindicates that the process of learning mathematics in Semarang Kejar Paket  B is not well structured from the procurement needs of students, facilities, and the teaching material of mathematics. It is also supported by the unapproriateness of acquisition results of the Final National Exam score.

Abstract

The establishment of a healthy ecosystem in the industrial revolution era 4.0 begins with the formation of millennial characters who are currently experiencing degradation. The tendency of basic mathematics learning that gives more attention to the cognitive aspects has an impact on the mindset that is formed, which is learning to get value, not learning to form characters that are ready to face the industrial era 4.0. The need to link learning with character values can be realized in the development of an integrated mathematics textbook of character education. The purpose of this study was to determine the validity of integrated basic textbooks in character education. The research method used is research and development methods or Research and Development (R & D) with procedures in accordance with the development model of Borg & Gall. The results of the research shown in the design validation resulting in an average score of 3.13 including the valid criteria. So that the basic mathematics textbooks are integrated valid character education. Further research is needed in the trial class as the implementation of integrated basic textbooks on character education.Keywords : Borg & Gall, textbooks, character education

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Three Step Interviewbased Scientific learning model to ability of mathematical communication. This research is an experimental research conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Ngadirejo in Temanggung District.Sampling with Purposive Sampling technique. The research population is all students of class VIII with sample of class VIII B (experiment) and class VIII C (control). The independent variable used is motivation and communicative, the dependent variable of mathematical communication ability. Methods of data collection using interviews, documentation, tests, observations, and questionnaires. The results showed: (1) the average mathematical communication ability of the experimental class students reached 83.24 with the percentage of completeness of 79.411%; (2) there was a motivationand communicative influence on the mathematical communication ability 80.4%;(3) there is difference of experiment class average which reach 83,24 and control class reach 73,76. Based on the three criteria above shows that Three Step Interviewbased Scientific learning model to the mathematical communication ability of grade VIII students of building the flatside space effective.Keywords: Three Step Interview, Scientific, Mathematical Communication.

Abstract

Nonparametric regression can be used when the relationship between the response variable and the predictor variables have an unknown pattern form the regression curve. One of the method that can be used to predictproductivity of the wetland paddy is a nonparametric regression kernel. In kernel regression, there are severaltypes of estimator that can be used to modelling productivity of wetland paddy in Central Java, one of which isNadaraya-Watson estimator. Variables used in the study of the productivity of rice as the response variable,while the predictor variables that harvested area, production and rainfall. Based on estimates indicate that thekernel nonparametric regression optimum bandwidth value 1.2 and GCV = 1.7577. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui keefektifan BPD dengan metode Group Investigation berbasis Kontekstual untuk menunjang pembelajaran matematika materi segitiga SMP. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen yang dilaksanakan di SMPN 8 Semarang. Pengambilan sampel dengan teknik convenience sampling. Populasinya adalah semua peserta didik kelas VII dengan sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri kelas VII G sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas VII F sebagai kelas eksperimen. Variabel yang digunakan adalah keaktikfan sebagai variabel bebas dan prestasi belajar sebagai variabel terikat. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi untuk keaktifan peserta didik dan pemberian tes untuk mengukur prestasi belajar. Metode pembelajaran yang digunakan adalah metode Group Investigation berbasis kontekstual pada materi segitiga SMP. Metode ini diharapkan dapat menuntut keaktifan peserta didik. Hasil yang diperoleh setelah dianalisis adalah (1) prestasi belajar siswa mencapai kriteria ketuntasan klasikal yaitu 70.53 lebih besar dari KKM sebesar 70 serta mencapai ketuntasan individual lebih dari 75%. (2) Keaktifan siswa berpengaruh positif terhadap prestasi belajar siswa sebesar 61,80%. (3) Prestasi belajar siswa kelas uji coba BPD dengan rata-rata 70,53 lebih baik dari pada prestasi belajar siswa pada kelas kontrol dengan rata-rata 65,00. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa BPD dengan metode Group Investigation berbasis kontekstual efektif untuk menunjang pembelajaran matematika materi segitiga SMP.

Abstract

Aim of this study was to develop learning tools of mathematics by model of Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, and Transferrin (REACT) which was valid and practical. Learning tools developed include syllabi, lesson plan, Student Worksheet, and the student book. The development refers to the Plomp models of development model of learning device, which consists of five phases, namely the initial investigation phase, the design phase, the phase of realization, evaluation and revision of the test phase. The research instruments used in this study were the validation sheet of learning tools, questionnaire sheet of student responses to the learning implementation, and questionnaire sheet of teacher responses to the learning tools. Validator assessment results indicate that the learning tools developed were valid with an average value for validation of syllabus, lesson plans, student worksheets, and the student book were 3.23 (good), 3.21 (good), 3.29 (very good), and 3.39 (very good), respectively. Field trials showed that the application of the learning tools developed was practical. A total of 82.40% of students responded positiv to the application of the learning tool in class, while the teacher assess that learning tool that is used with a value of 4.29 (good criteria)Keywords: React, lerning tool, mathematical connection, three-dimensional

Abstract

Lecturers are required to be able to analyze errors in working on the problem along with the causative factors. Through an analysis of errors in doing some exercises, it can be used as a basis in conducting the process of delivering material in the next learning. Through implementing true and mature concepts, students will not face difficulties in applying the material learned. Based on the observations, there are still many students who getdifficulties in doing the exercises of Education Statistics course. Besides, students of Universitas Terbuka in Kaliwungu 2017.2 are lack of learning outcomes in education statistics courses, 2). many students, but do notapply it in learning , 3). Many students do not pass the Education Statistics course. Based on these problems, it is necessary to conduct research related to the analysis of student?s errors and the causal factors in solving the Satistika Education problem. The purpose of this study is to find out the errors and causal factors in solving the questions in the Educational Statistics material. The subject of this research is UT students Semarang 2018.1 in Pokjar in Boja Subdistrict, Kendal Regency. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative research. Based on the analysis of student?s errors in the Education Statistics subject, conclusions are obtained 1). There are 4 student errors, namely: a). conceptual error, b). procedural error, c). Computation / calculation errors, and d).Errors in drawing conclusions; 2). The most mistakes of the students happened on procedural errors; 3). Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keefektifan metode guided discovery learning bernuansa multiple intelligences terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang mendapat perlakuan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen. Metode pengumpulan data kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis melalui tes (pre-test dan post-test), angket untuk motivasi, dan observasi untuk keaktifan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 87% siswa yang mendapat perlakuan tuntas dengan kriteria ketuntasan minimal 77. Hasil uji pengaruh menunjukkan adanya pengaruh motivasi dan keaktifan belajar siswa terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa sebesar 72,8%. Hasil uji banding diperoleh lebih besar dari , artinya kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang mendapat perlakuan lebih baik daripada pembelajaran konvensional. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode guided discovery learning bernuansa multiple intelligences efektif terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Sedangkan hasil perhitungan indeks gain menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang mendapat perlakuan sebesar 0,7 dengan kriteria peningkatan tinggi. Kata kunci: guided discovery learning, multiple intelligences,kemampuan pemecahan masalah.

Abstract

Evaluasi proses pembelajaran matematika yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran secara menyeluruh, tentunya tidak sekedar dilakukan oleh guru saja. Namun proses evaluasi dilakukan oleh seluruh masyarakat sekolah yang berada pada lingkungan tersebut. Diantaranya oleh : kepala sekolah, guru, siswa, orang tua, tenaga kependidikan dan lingkungan sekitar sekolah. Untuk menghasilkan proses evaluasi pembelajaran matematika yang maksimal dan sesuai dengan tujuan evauasi maka perlu adanya perencanaan dan desain evaluasi proses pembelajaran matematika secara matang. Proses evaluasi pembelajaran tidak hanya pada sekolah formal namun pada sekolah nonformal dalam hal ini khusus pada kejar paket B, dimana perlu adanya evaluasi pembelajaran matematika. Hal ini dikarenakan pada proses pembelajaran matematika pada kejar paket B masih terkesan seadanya. Sehingga perlu adanya perencanaan dan desain evaluasi proses pembelajaran matematika yang menggunakan model CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product), dengan objek evaluasi adalah pengelola, tutor/guru matematika, dan siswa kejar paket B..Kata Kunci: Desain evaluasi pembelajaran matematika, Model CIPP.
