Background : Aim of the research was to acknowledge the effect of neonatal baby weight, age of birth giving, breast milk feeding on neonatal baby’s health status. Methode : The research design was a cross sectional study, with interview method and homevisit of 160 respondents. Samples were withdrawn with simple random sampling method. Data was analyzed with simple linier regression test, continued with multiple linier regression test. Results : Results of the research indicated that the weight of neonatal baby, the age of birth giving mother, age of pregnancy, and breast milk feeding have influences on the neonatal baby’s health status. Of the four variables, two of them were observed to have dominant influences of the baby health status in neoantal period in Siti Fatimah RSKDIA Makassar, i.e (?) 0.374 p=0,000 (37.4%) and mother breast feeding (?) 0.306 p=0.000 (30.6%). Background: Many factors influence the decision to commit abortions, among all are marital status and educational status which most are still in school, economic pressure, multiparity or contaception failure. The social interaction is a connection between t the people who perform abortion and their suggestive environment.Objective: to observe the social interaction that happend among the person who perform abortion and the surrounding society.Method: This research makes use of qualitative method to understand the motives behind abortion practice, through an indepth interview. The sample collection is performed on H. A. Sulthan Dg Radja Hospital and Daffiku Hospital Bulukumba.Result and Discussion: Subject who performed abortion was influenced by internal and external factors. The internal factors include anxiousness, financial worrisome to support the child and fear of embarrassing the family in an unmaried women. As for the external factor includes pressure from families and friends who insist on performing abortion and the help from traditional healer on performing abortion. These two factors are not independent, and between them there are interactions to materialize abortion practice.Conclussion: Social interaction between individuals and between individual and the environment are an important role against abortion in decision making to have an provocative abortion.Keywords: Social interaction, abortion, factors for abortion

Background: Surgical Patient Safety is essential to be carried out in operating theatre to prevent mortality and surgical complication. Patient safety is the basic principal in medical care and a major component of medical care management in hospital (WHO, 2009).Objective: To investigate association between SSC implementation among surgical team, surgical site infection and duration of hospital stay.Method: This is an analytical cross sectional study. Population of this study was women who underwent cesarean section with live birth in Barru general hospital during 1 December 2016-30 April 2017. This study was carried out in Barru general hospital, 137 samples met inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data was obtained from medical records. Maternal outcome were duration of hospital stay, surgical site infection, and maternal mortality. Besides, this study also assesed knowledge and compliance of surgical team in implementation of SSC. The result of this study was analysed with computer statisctics analysis program.Result adn Discussion: One-hundred thirty seven patients met study criteria. Compliance of surgery team in SSC was 64%,. SSC was not implemented precisely in 36% patients (49 patients). There is no significant association between surgical team compliance with surgical site infection in cesarean section patients (p=0.078). A significant association was found between surgical team compliance with duration of hospital stay (p=0.006).Conclusion: The surgical team compliance in implementation of SSC was not yet optimal. An intensive socialization is needed to improve compliance of team in order that SSC implementation run promptly. This was part of efforts to reduce post operative complication and shorten hospital stay.Keywords: SSC, cesarean section, compliance, infection, duration of hospital stay
