Abstract

Recently, there are many hospitals as the health-care services choose to use the concept of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) to build the trust bridges between the hospitals and their patients. The implementation of CRM in health caring, especially for pregnant women needs to do; such as the delivery of information related to the pregnant women to get antenatal care as the scheduled or pregnant women desire to obtain information dealing with their pregnancy. The irrelevant, slow and inaccurate information can cause the health care services given to the patients are not optimal, so that they can reduce patients’ loyalty toward the health-care services. This research resulted health care information system based on Customer Relationship Management using Short Message Service (SMS) technology with case study of health care for pregnant women. The resulted information system is produced by the System Development Life Cycle methodology using the Waterfall model. One of the features produced is the pregnant women will receive aconfirmation SMS to obtain antenatal care with a schedule until 28 weeks of their pregnancy check up every four weeks, 28-36 weeks of their pregnancy check up every two weeks, and 36-40 weeks of their pregnancy check up once a week.Keywords: Pregnant Women, Antenatal Care, Customer Relationship Management, Short Message Service

Abstract

Rotating Disk mempunyai beberapa parameter di dalam pembuatannya, salah satunya adalah radius, berat dan ketebalan. Analisa distribusi tegangan pada rotating disk telah lama menjadi masalah dalam teori elastisitas. Untuk menghasilkan efisiensi kerja yang baik pada rotating disk, diperlukan ketepatan dalam perhitungan dan pembuatan desain bentuk. Pada tugas akhir ini profil rotating disk dengan ketebalan bervariasi akan dioptimasi dengan objective function meminimalkan tegangan geser maksimum dan tegangan von-misses. Optimasi adalah suatu metode yang digunakan untuk mencari nilai optimum yang terbaik dari desain yang sudah ada dengan kondisi batas tertentu. Proses optimasi dilakukan secara numerik, yang ditampilkan dalam bentuk kurva isomerit dengan berbagai variasi variabel desain. Dengan kondisi batas Lmin = 0.6 inch, Lmax = 3 inch dan R2>R3>R4>R5>R6. Hasil optimasi berupa tegangan geser maksimum optimal sebesar 1445 psi dan tegangan von-misses optimal sebesar 2548 psi.

Abstract

This article presents the generation and accumulation of cut-off waste in furniture small enterprises. The sequence of processes in observation is aimed at producing a simple wooden component, and consists of five machining processes. The dimension of the component has a bounding box of 3 cm by 17 cm by 81 cm. The average productivity of the machines is 120 pieces per shift. The rate of defected product and waste vary from one to other machines, all of which have less than 10% of waste. However, the observation reveals that the accumulation of defect almost reaches 30%; this by product has potential to be recycled to produce components with bounding boxes smaller than that mentioned above.

Abstract

Fabrication of Rapid Prototyping (RP) of a mechanical part using multi-material powder-deposition is carried out to improve the functional aspect as well as the life time. This RP allows the multi-material fabrication by modifying the material delivery subsystem.This paper reports the fabrication of multi-material free-form parts, hereafter will be abbreviated as MMFF. This paper also presents a method of tool-path generation. The shape and the size of the part are the input of the RP-process; typically, this input is either a 3D-model from a CAD system or a set of coordinates from a CMM. In this report, the input is obtained from a CAD system. The model is sliced at a pre-determined thickness interval, and the results are a set of 2D sections. A section contains a single outer loop and may have inner loops. A tool path is generated for each section, and the path will later be traversed by a deposition nozzle. Scanning gaps between two parallel path is determined based on the geometry of the loops of the section. Tool path generator also facilitates the inputting setting data to appropriate the dimension machine capacity.

Abstract

This article presents an elementary description about the characteristics of cable-direct-driverobot, in particular about the kinematic constraints and kinetics redundancy in cable driving system. Therobot that is observed in this article is one with three-cable driver; as a consequence, this robot will haveone redundancy. Robot’s motion lies on a plane, that is the planar curvilinear motion. Robot’s motion isassumed to be purely translational, and no rotation occurs. The redundancy is represented by a linearcombination of the range space and the multiple of null space of the coefficient matrix of the force systemat the end-effector. An example for a given position and a planar two-dimensional force system ispresented. The results indicate that the use of range space and null space together will produce statbleand consisten results

Abstract

This paper presents a modeling of Bill-of-Material with tree data structure. The BOM represents wooden furniture products. The management of BOM is incorporated into an MRP software which is specially built for a furniture manufacturer. The tree data structure is approached with an object oriented programming to provide the creation and modification of the data. The tree object is designed so that a downstream programmer can create an application with high productivity, using the BOM object of course. Legality of the development is ensured by adapting open source resources, i.e. MySQL database engine, PHP server script, and client-side Javascript. The BOM object is used extensively in the MRP software that is being developed. A couple of screenshots are presented to demonstrate the ease of creation and manipulation of Bill-of-Material. The proper approach of modeling BOM with tree structure allows the programmer to reach high productivity during the development of the aforementioned MRP customized software. Abstract

This article presents an algorithm along with Scilab codes to calculate radial and tangential stresses in rotating disc with varying thickness. The continuous change of thickness is represented by stepped; discrete ones.The geometry of disc is represented by two arrays, each of whose elements represents the radius and the thickness respectively. The stresses arise due to combination of rotation and prescribed pressures at the outer and inner radiuses of the disc. The stresses are limited to linearly elastic cases; loadings and rotation causing either non-linear elastic or plastic strains are beyond the scope of this work. Linear inequality onstraints on the values of the radiuses are prescribed in order to prevent overlapping of radiuses, and thus maintain the validity of the disc geometry. Codes are designated for Scilab for ease of use.

Abstract

Analysis  of  data  to  access  the  server  can  provide  significant  and  useful  information  for  performance  improvement,  restructuring  andimproving the effectiveness of a web site. Data mining is one of the most effective way to detect a series of patterns of information from large amounts of data. Application of  data mining  on  Internet use  called web  mining  is a set of  data mining  techniques  are  used  for the web. Web mining technologies and data mining is a combination of web, which is the integration of technology resources extracted from the  information  world wide web  as  the  implications  of the  web  resources  of interest to  know the  value  of the  model extraction Potentialuse of  data mining  algorithms  over  a variety  of  observational  data for  identify  patterns  of  web resources. Target analysis of web mining is the data from the web, such as data visitors access, web page structure, and format web pages.  Target analysis of the study is that web mining  web  usage  mining  using  association  rules  on  the  website  www.faperta.unja.ac.id  obtained  from  the  log  file  that  is  used  to discover the navigation patterns, and discover the rules of the association between a combination of items.  To  determine the pattern ofvisits  in  a  web,  and  to  identify  what  pages  are frequented by  visitors  of  a  website,  which  can  be used  to  improve  website design  andrecommend the display, as well as the links are often used by visitors, so the quality of services from website www.faperta.unja.ac.id can be provided effectively and efficiently.Keywords : Web Mining; Web usage mining; Data mining; Log file; Website; World wide web

Abstract

Strategy of using of Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) as learning media is needed for solving problems that rise in learning process. Good learning packaging give positive effect in improving human potency. CAI as learning media based on computer microprocessor is built as complement and support learning method that usually use lecturing method, information discussion, and presentation.  The goal of this research is design and build interactive learning media CAI by multimedia technology. Result of this research is CAI visualisation by tutorial model and simulation as physics learning media by computer for senior high school students, XI Grade. This research involve a number of 8 teachers and 90 student XI Grade as respondents. Respondents questionnaire result show that 91.11% of students state that CAI product is qualified, 75.11% of students state that material presentation are qualified, 95.11% of students state that CAI program can increase study motivation.Keywords : Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI); Learning Media; Multimedia; Physics.

Abstract

Quality of human resources faculty can be reflected from the implementation of productivity and quality Tridharma (education, research, community service  and  supporting  field  activities).  Lecturer  Workload  and Evaluation of  Higher Education  Tridharma  (BKD  and theEPT-PT)  aims  to  ensure  the  implementation  of  the  faculty  task  runs  according  to  the  criteria  set  out  in  legislation.  Data  clusteringTridharma  implementation is needed to  get  some  knowledge  of the  pattern of Tridharma  implementation  at  college.  Clustering  as a  data mining  technique  should be  scalable, reliable  and  meet  an  agreed  standard.  CRISP-DM is the standardization of  data mining  is  used  in this study. The results of data clustering found the pattern of proportion of Tridharma  into 3 clusters representing patterns: professionals, managers and teachers.Keywords : Clustering, CRISP-DM, K-Means, Tridharma
