Abstract

Abstract: This reaserch aimed to reveal the effect of a Problem Solving and a Problem Posing learning model assisting by media instrument to the mathematics achievement based on the students’ learning creativity. We used the second grade students of Junior High Schools in Pontianak as the population. This was a 3 x 3 factorial design quasi-experimental research. The techniques of data collection were a test, questionnaires and documentation method. The balance test, a prerequisite tests analysis (normality and homogeneity test), and hypothesis test using unbalanced two ways analysis of variance were the techniques of data analysis that used in this research. The result indicates: (1) a Problem Solving learning model assisting by media instrument gives the same mathematics achievement as a Problem Posing learning model assisting by media instrument, but it gives better mathematics achievement than a directed learning; Furthermore, there is no difference of mathematics achievement between a Problem Posing learning model assisting by media instrument and a directed learning; (2) the students with high, medium an low learning creativity have the same mathematics achievment; (3) for all category of the learning creativity, a Problem Solving learning model assisting by media instrument gives the same mathematics achievement as a Problem Posing learning model assisting by media instrument, but it gives better mathematics achievement than a directed learning; Furthermore, there is no difference of mathematics achievement between a Problem Posing learning model assisting by media instrument and a directed learning; (4) for all category of the learning models, the students with high, medium an low learning creativity have the same mathematics achievment.Key words : Problem Solving assisting by media instrument, Problem Posing assisting by media instrument, directed learning, learning creativity, mathematics achievement

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap perilaku metakognisi siswa kelas X SMA yang berada pada tingkat kemampuan atas, menengah, dan bawah dalam pemecahan masalah pola bilangan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian non eksperimen yang bersifat survey-deskriptif dengan siswa kelas XB SMA Negeri 2 Pontianak sebagai partisipannya yang dibagi ke dalam tiga kelompok tingkat kemampuan yaitu atas, menengah dan bawah. Berdasarkan analisis data, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) pada tingkat kemampuan atas, perilaku metakognisi siswa dalam pemecahan masalah pola bilangan termasuk kriteria aktivitas cukup (57,14%) (2) pada tingkat kemampuan menengah, perilaku metakognisi siswa dalam pemecahan masalah pola bilangan termasuk kriteria aktivitas cukup (64,28%) dan (3) pada tingkat kemampuan bawah, perilaku metakognisi siswa dalam pemecahan masalah pola bilangan termasuk kriteria aktivitas tinggi (78,60%).Kata Kunci: perilaku metakognisi, pemecahan masalah

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi solusi siswa kelas X SMA dalam menyelesaikan masalah pola bilangan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian non eksperimen yang bersifat survey-deskriptif dengan siswa kelas XB SMA Negeri 2 Pontianak sebagai partisipan yang dibagi ke dalam tiga kelompok kemampuan yaitu tingkat kemampuan atas, menengah dan bawah. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa dalam memecahkan masalah pola bilangan ditemukan empat macam strategi yang digunakan siswa untuk menghasilkan jawaban benar, yaitu Strategi solusi I (pola bilangan ganjil), Strategi solusi II (tabulasi), Strategi solusi III (mendaftar), dan Strategi solusi IV (pola bilangan kuadrat).Kata kunci: Pemecahan masalah, strategi solusi siswa

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendekripsikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika mahasiswa calon guru semester VI IKIP-PGRI Pontianak. Secara khusus, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika mahasiswa calon guru semester VI IKIP-PGRI Pontianak pada masing-masing aspek pemecahan masalah matematika. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitiannya adalah studi kasus. Berdasarkan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Pada aspek memahami masalah, mahasiswa sudah menuliskan informasi yang ada pada soal namun masih terdapat kekurangan dan kesalahan dalam menentukan apa yang ditanyakan pada soal, (2) Pada aspek merencanakan penyelesaian, mahasiswa masih belum menuliskan rencana penyelesaian secara sistematis dan detail pada tiap langkah-langkahnya, (3) Pada aspek melaksanakan rencana penyelesaian, masih terdapat kesalahan dalam perhitungan sehingga menghasilkan jawaban yang kurang tepat, (4) Pada aspek memeriksa kembali hasil yang diperoleh, masih terdapat kesalahan dalam kesimpulan akibat dari kesalahan dalam memahami masalah dan juga kesalahan dalam perhitungan. Kata kunci: pemecahan masalah, program linear Abstract This study aims to decrypt the problem solving skills of mathematics students prospective teacher semester VI IKIP-PGRI Pontianak. Specifically, this study aims to describe the mathematical problem solving skills of prospective teachers of semester VI of IKIP-PGRI Pontianak in each aspect of solving mathematical problems. In this study used descriptive method with the form of research is a case study. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that: (1) In the aspect of understanding the problem, the students have written information on the problem but there are still deficiencies and mistakes in determining what is asked on the question, (2) In the aspect of the plan of settlement, the student still has not written the plan (3) In the aspect of executing the settlement plan, there are still errors in the calculation so as to produce a less precise answer, (4) In the aspect of re-examining the results obtained, there is still a mistake in the conclusion of the result of Error in understanding the problem and also the error in the calculation. Abstract

Penelitian yang bertemakan Bahan Alam ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan kemampuan dari bahan alami dengan bahan kimiawi sintetik dalam memperhambat pertumbuhan dari biakan murni bakteri, sehingga daya antiseptik dari masing-masing bahan tersebut mampu ditentukan kemampuannya dalam mencegah terjadinya infeksi pada tubuh manusia. Bahan alami yang peneliti gunakan dalam adalah bawang putih (Allium sativum). Sedangkan untuk bahan kedua peneliti menggunakan bahan kimia sintetik betadin yang merupakan antiseptik buatan yang sudah teruji kemampuannya dalam menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri baik secara medis atau uji laboratorium. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan cara kualitatif yaitu dengan mengelompokkan diameter zona hambatan bakteri menjadi 3 kategori: 1) Diameter > 12 mm termasuk kategori Sensitif. 2) Diameter 4 – 12 mm termasuk dalam kategori Intermediet. 3) Diameter < 4 mm termasuk kategori Resisten. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan daya hambat antiseptik alami bawang putih Allium sativum dengan antiseptik sintetik terhadap pertumbuhan biakan murni bakteri Staphylococcus aureusn dan Escherichia coli

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the ability of adaptive reasoning of junior high school students in Pontianak, which is divided into categories of secondary, middle and lower schools. This research is descriptive research with research form is survey. Sampling in this research using stratified cluster random sampling technique. Of the 23 existing schools thereafter were randomly assigned to each school to represent high school, middle class, and low school. Categorization of schools based on the value of students National Exam. Based on the result of research analysis, it is found that the average of adaptive reasoning ability of junior high school students in Pontianak is 42,96% with enough category. While the average adaptive reasoning ability of high, medium and low students is 48.82% (enough), 41.06% (enough), and 39% (enough), respectively.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the mistakes made by students of Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika in solving the equation of straight line problem. This research was conducted in Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika IKIP-PGRI Pontianak in the odd semester of Academic Year 2017/2018. This research uses a descriptive method with research form is a case study. The subject of his research is the third-semester students who have studied the equation of straight line material. The results of this study indicate that systematic errors are as many as 18 errors or equal to 47.37%, random error that is as much as 3 errors or equal to 7.89%, mistake carelessness as much as 17 mistakes or by 44, 74%.

Abstract

Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa latar belakang terjadinya aksi protes pejuang kemerdekaan Laskar Lipan Bajeng di Polongbangkeng dikarenakan faktor ekonomi, politik, dan budaya (siri’ na pacce). Adanya rasa kecewa terhadap sikap pemerintah dari para gerilyawan akan nasib mereka yang selama ini berjuang. Adapun bentuk dari aksi protes yang dilakukan yaitu pertama, mengadakan pengrusakan, kekacauan seperti pembakaran rumah maupun pasar, dan penculikan, serta pengancaman. Kedua, adanya aksi perampokan dan pencurian berupa binatang ternak dan barang berharga lainnya. Ketiga, penyerangan terhadap aparat pemerintah, seperti penyerangan terhadap Kepala Distrik Sanrobone dan seorang polisi kampong. Disimpulkan bahwa hasil aksi protes pejuang kemerdekaan Laskar Lipan Bajeng adalah terbentuknya batalyon Infanteri 721 Lipan Bajeng dan pengangkatan para pejuang menjadi Tentara Nasional Indonesia. Aksi protes ini turut memberikan dampak bagi kehidupan masyarakat yaitu menimbulkan rasa tidak aman dan merosotnya perekonomian masyarakat.Kata Kunci: Aksi Protes, Pejuang Kemerdekaan, Laskar Lipan Bajeng di Polongbangkeng
