Abstract

This research is based on fact that creativity and learning output of religion subject of students grade III in SDN 17 Batang Anai are still low. This research is aimed to improve creativity and learning output of students grade III SDN 17 Batang Anai by implementing Learning Tournament method. This is a class action research that consists of two cycles including four steps: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data of research were obtained through observation, note, and test. Obtained data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. In cycle I, percentage of student’s creativity score is 28.48%and become 78.33% in cycle II. Meanwhile, percentage of student’s learning output score in cycle I is 50.00% and become 83.33% in cycle II. Hence, it can be concluded that Learning Tournament method can improve creativity and learning output of students grade III SDN 17 Batang Anai.

Abstract

This research is underpinned by the lack of blame for students ' science process skills that can result in no achievement of learning objectives. The proper application of learning models is one of the alternatives to addressing the problem. One of the learning models that can be applied is the learning model predict observe explain (POE). This research aims to determine the implementation of the learning model predict observe explain and its influence on the skills of the students ' science process on electrolyte and nonelectrolytic solution material in grade X MIA SMAN 9 Jambi City. The approach used in this research is a mix method by using both qualitative data and quantitative data. Sampling techniques are performed with purposive sampling. The instrument used is an observation sheet for the implementation of the model by both teachers and students and the observation sheet of Students ' science process skills. Qualitative data analysis techniques using Miles and Huberman and quantitative data analysis techniques using the correlation test of product moment and test-T. The management of the POE model by the teacher has increased each meeting, the percentage of the implementation of POE models by students is 74.56% with good categorize, and the percentage of students ' science process skills is 73.33% categorized. The implementation relationship of POE model by students with the skills of students ' science process categorized very strongly with the value of Rxy 0.849. The signification test was obtained Thitung > this (9,013 > 2,036) with DK 32 and ? = 0.05 so that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. Based on the results of the research can be concluded that the implementation of POE learning model on electrolyte and nonelectrolytic solution material affects the students ' science process skills in X MIA class SMAN 9 Jambi City.

Abstract

Menopause occurs exactly at the end of the last menstrual cycle, but the new certainty is obtained if a woman has not experienced the cycle for at least 12 months. When the levels of estrogen and progesterone decline, the hypothalamus and the pituitary gland trying to correct it and this leads to disruption of the normal operation of other body systems, including metabolism, brain chemistry, and bone conditions. The resulting changes include changes in the physical and psychological conditions are very individual (there are experienced and some not). Common physical changes experienced by menopausal women include: skin wrinkles or loosened, urinary incontinence (urinary control disorders), heart palpitations during activity, body temperature increases abruptly, headache, and easy to forget. While the changes in psychological conditions often lead to feelings of depression, and quick to anger. In addition it is the threat of osteoporosis (bone loss), which makes easy fractures impaired calcium absorption and poses a risk of cardiovascular disorders that contribute to raise the risk of heart disease and stroke.

Abstract

Energy conservation in buildings is a serious attention in Indonesia, including as one of the focus in the Roadmap Research, Development, and Application of Science and Technology Field of New and Renewable Energy Sources from the Ministry of Research and Technology. This study aims to determine the thermal calculator PMV” provided by Luma Sense Technologies to get the value of PMV-PPD and thermal comfort employee feels comfortable with the PMV value of 0.7 (slightly warm) and PPD value of 16.89 (mean 16.89% of people feel uncomfortable in the room), but when the air conditioner off at 12.00 am, the PMV value rose to 2.76 (Hot) and PPD 96.57 (mean 96.57% of people feel uncomfortable). As for the condition of the hall with AC On the value of PMV = 1.8 (warm), PPD value of 67.89 (mean 67.89% of people feel uncomfortable), and so the AC off at 12.00 pm, the PMV value rose to 3.1 (Hot) with PPD 99, 5 (mean everyone does not feel of State Islamic University of Suska Riau at Islamic center relies heavily on the use of air conditioning, so the AC Off the thermal comfort is reduced drastically, especially in the middle of the day and hot weather during the term of the study. Based on the analysis and discussion of design concepts found most appropriate to the condition of the building with the addition of the IC is the insulation of the building, with one of the alternative types of polyurethane foam insulation is spray applied a simple and practical and appropriate for buildings that have been standing.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan pada fakta bahwa kemampuan siswa dalam memahami mata pelajaran mendengarkan dan berbicara masih rendah. Untuk mengatasi maslah tersebut, penulis menggunakan metode kombinasi snowball throwing dan simulasi yang prinsisp dasarnya untuk melibatkan siswa secara aktif dalam proses pembelajaran dan pengajarn. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengahasilkan pengajaran mendengarkan buku pegangan berbiacara yang menggunakan metode kombinasi snowball throwing dan simulasi. Lenih jauh lagi, penelitian ini bertujuan pula untuk mengetahui dan menganalisa (1) pola desain dari pengajaran  mendengarkan dan berbicara dan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode kombinasi snowball throwing dan simulasi, (2) proses belajar mengajar mendengarkan dan proses belajar mengajar berbicara dengan kombinasi metode snowball throwing dan simulasi, dan (3) keefektifan belajar mengajar mendengarkan dan berbicara pada kemapuan mahasiswa PGSD tahun ke 2 dalam memahamim pelajaran. Penelitian ini adalah percobaan quasi dengan menggunakan ketidaksamaan dari pola kelompok kontrol. Pada pola ini, dua kelompok diberikan pre-tes untuk mengetahui jika jika ada perbedaan diantara kelas percobaan dan kelas control.setelah diberikan laporan terhadap kelompok tersebut, pos-tes akan dilakukan untuk mengetahui peningkatan setiap grup.  Beberapa instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini anatara lain observasi dan pendapat siswa. Data dianalisa dengan menggunakan t – tes. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa belajar mengajar mendengarkan dan berbicara dengan menggunakan metode kombinasi dari snowball throwing dan simulasi efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dalam pelajaran. Kondisi ini dapat terlihat dalam hasil dari t-tes. (ujian t). hasilnya menunjukan kepada kita bahwa pemahaman dari kelompok percobaan naik dengan baik dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. berdasarkan hasil, metode kombinasi dari snowball throwing (Melemparkan bola salju) dengan simulasi dapat digunakan sebagai alternative model dalam pengajaran membaca di sebuah universitas

Abstract

Pemukiman nelayan di kawasan perkotaan belum banyak diperhatikan oleh pemerintah. Seharusnya sebagai bagian dari perencanaan kota, pemukiman nelayan mempunyaI urgensi yang sama untuk diatur sehingga dapat dikelola dengan baik. Makalah ini mempunyai tiga tujuan utama, yaitu: 1) Mengidentifikasi kondisi eksisting kawasan pemukiman nelayan; 2) Mengidentifikasi hambatan perencanaan pemukiman nelayan di perkotaan; dan 3) menganalisis peran perencanaan kota pada tatakelola pemukiman nelayan. Observasi hanya dilakukan di pantai utara Teluk Jakarta (Kamal Muara) terkait kondisi eksisting dan hambatan perencanaan pemukiman nelayan. Data primer diperoleh dari hasil wawancara informan kunci dengan menggunakan bantuan topik data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi pemukiman nelayan masih jauh dari kondisi ideal, yang mulai dari sanitasi, desain pemukiman, drainase dan sebagainya. Sedangkan terdapat 3 stakeholder yang  bertanggungjawab atas kesulitan pengaturan pemukiman nelayan yaitu masyarakat nelayan, pemerintah dan instansi swasta termasuk  pengembang dan perbankan. Ketiga elemen stakeholder tersebut harus bersamasama melakukan upaya untuk perbaikan tata kelola pemukiman nelayan dengan tanpa melupakan pemahaman bahwa nelayan tidak dapat dipisahkan dari laut dan tepi pantai sebagai tempat  bekerja, komunitas dan budaya.Title: Fisherman Settlement Management in Urban Region of Northern-Coast of Jakarta Fisherman settlements in urban areas have received less attention by the government. As a part of urban planning, fisherman settlements should have the same urgency to be well governed. This paper has three main objectives: 1) to identify existing conditions of fishermen residential areas; 2) to identify barriers on planning of fisherman settlements in urban area; and 3) to analyze the role of urban planning on fisherman settlements governance. Observation toward existing conditions and the barriers on fisherman settlements planning were only completed in Kamal Muara, the northern coast of Jakarta Bay. Primary data were obtained from key informant interviews using data topic tool. The results show that the conditions of the fisherman settlement is still under ideal level, including its sanitation, settlement design, drainage, etc. There are 3 stakeholders who are responsible for the difficulties in regulating fisherman settlements, they are fishing communities, government and private institutions including developers and commercial banks. These three elements must jointly improve the governance of fisherman settlements under the same perception that fishermen cannot be  separated from the sea and coast area as a work place, community and culture.

Abstract

Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan Kependidikan II merupakan pengalaman mengajar bagi mahasiswa sebagai gambaran akan tugas-tugas guru secara praktis agar mahasiswa memperoleh bimbingan mengenai kependidikan. Guru yang profesional adalah guru yang memiliki seperangkat kompetensi (pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan perilaku) meliputi kompetensi pedagogik, kepribadian, sosial, dan kompetensi profesional. Oleh karena itu, PPLK merupakan pengalaman penting dalam menunjang pencapaian keterampilan mahasiswa  sebagai seorang guru yang profesional. Permsalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana keterampian dasar mengajar mahasiwa PGMI dalam perspektif pamong, sedangkan tujuannya untuk mengetahui keterampilan dasar mengajar mahasiwa Prodi PGMI pada PPLK II dalam persepsi guru pamong. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif karena penulis memaparkankan secara faktual dan objektif mengenai keterampilan mengajar mahasiswa berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan guru (pamong), observasi, dan dokumentasi. Pendekatan yang dilakukan adalah pendekatan kualitatif untuk mendapatkan data lebih mendalam, kredibel dan  bermakna sehingga tujuan penelitian dapat dicapai. Lokasi penelitian adalah Madrasah Ibtidaiyah se-Kota Palembang. Kesimpulan keterampilan terkategori cukup baik, yaitu keterampilan membuka dan  menutup pelajaran serta keterampilan  menjelaskan, sedangkan tergolong baik, yaitu keterampilan bertanya, memberi penguatan, dan   mengadakan variasi.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to examine the model and the style of communication used in the Special Effort Program for Increasing Paddy, Corn and Soybean Production (UPSUS PAJALE). This research was conducted in Tulungagung Regency, East Java Province. This research was a descriptive qualitative research. The research strategy used was a case study. Data collection techniques used in this study were: (1) Observation, (2) In-depth interview, (3) Reviewing documents and archives, and (4) Data collection with Focus Group Discussion (FGD) as a support. The communication model used in UPSUS program in Tulungagung District was a communication model of chain structure in the form of coordinative and linear relationship. UPSUS program communication model in Tulungagung Regency was considered not effective in UPSUS program delivery so there was still a lot of miscommunication at the implementation level below between extension worker with Babinsa and Extension Worker with Mantri Tani. This was because there is no cross-sector coordination and was caused by the controlling style of the stakeholders because of pressure from their superiors, which in the end the interactive communication or effective participatory communication didn't occur.

Abstract

Basicly, the teaching of sex education for the child is the same as giving immunisation to him/her. The child who has got the sex education expected will has a high self control and impenetrability to the virus attack of sex unrighteous, for example pornography, deviation, or sex abused, so that the child is not easy to infects by irresponsible sex. The Sex education for the child conducted step by step as according to his/her age. Instruction of sex is conducted squarely, easy going, and does not with negative enragement to the problem of sex. Parents have to develop sportive communications, so that the child will has a emotional openness toward parents, growing up the child trust toward parents, The problems of sex are not only a problem of intimate relationship, but many problems are there, either biological, psychological, and social. In Islam, the sex education is a part of the integration of aqidah, moral, and religious education.
