Evaluation of Integrin avβ3 Endometrial Tissue in Infertile Women by Immunohistochemistry Technique

Abstract

Successful implantation and placentation are important factors needed for pregnancy. Therefore, an optimal endometrial condition is needed for success implantation process. Recently, several morphologic and biologic marker can be used as marker of the implantation window. One of these which is highly expressed at lutheal phase of endometrium, namely, intregrin avβ3. Integrin avβ3 is a protein adhesion molecule which play an important role in communication between trophoblast cell and endometrial epithelium cell during implantation process. Expression of integrin avβ3 may be used as a determination factor for endometrial receptiveness, thus it was important to evaluate integrin level in infertile women. The aim of this study is to evaluate the expression of integrin avβ3 in endometrium of lutheal phase of infertile women. Research subjects were infertile women who came to Yasmin Clinic RSCM-FKUI. Forty-five infertile women, 20-41 years-old, underwent biopsy of endometrium at lutheal phase. The endometrial tissues were processed and immuno-stained at Makmal Integrated Laboratory Faculty of Medicine University of Indonesia. The staining results were assessed based on H-score system. Five endometrium tissue sample (11.11%) expressed very strong intensity, 4 sample (8.88%) showed strong staining intensity, 29 sample (64.40%) revealed a medium staining intensity and 7 sample (15.55%) revealed low-staining intensity. The expression of integrin avβ3 in endometrial tissue of infertile women revealed a medium staining intensity (64.40%).Keywords: Integrin avβ3, Endometrial tissue, women infertile, immunohistochemistry technique

Abstract

This study is aimed to improve students’ reading comprehension through the use of Student Teams-Achievement Division (STAD). Students at VIIIA grade students have difficulty to comprehend reading materials especially on report text. Most of them often fail in reading comprehension tests caused by the lack of language mastery. Therefore, their achievements do not achieve the minimal score. The important of written test is not avoided. It is one of learning measurement tools in educational setting. Student Teams-Achievement Division (STAD) is chosen to solve this problem. STAD is one of cooperative learning provides a chance for students to learn, share, exchange, and assist each student to reach group goals. The social value of STAD as cooperative learning allows students to help each other improve a student learning achievement and others during teaching and learning process. This study is a classroom action research. The data will be collected through test for measuring reading comprehension, observation checklist, field note and interview. The finding is expected that the teaching technique effective to improve reading comprehension.

Abstract

Tujuan artikel ini untuk menemukan strategi penganggaran modal yang berasal dari hibah pemerintah untuk desa wisata Mloko Sewu. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif konstruktif. Hasil yang didapatkan dari analisis kebutuhan desa wisata adalah konsep anggaran berdasarkan estimasian perkembangan arus kas masuk dan keluar dalam rentang waktu yang sempit untuk keberlanjutan pengadaan sarana dan prasarana. Cara ini dipandang sesuai dengan sumber pendanaan yang tidak berasal dari investor, tidak diniatkan untuk balik modal, dan hanya ada dana terbatas untuk modal.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah dengan bantuan teman dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar sikap lilin dalam pembelajaran senam lantai pada peserta didik kelas VI A SD Negeri 9 Pekanbaru Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017. Peneliti menggunakan tes hasil belajar sikap lilin sebagai instrumen penelitian yang dinilai berdasarkan kriteria penilaian yang dilakukan pengamatan gerak dari sikap awalan, pelaksanaan sampai sikap akhir dengan menggunakan lembaran portofolio. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa telah bertambah 10% peserta didik yang mencapai ketuntasan dari siklus I ke siklus II. Akan tetapi, masih 15% peserta didik yang belum memperoleh ketuntasan belajar per-individu walaupun nilai yang diperoleh sudah meningkat dibandingkan pada siklus sebelumnya. Hal ini disebabkan beberapa faktor, diantaranya karena keadaan fisik peserta didik yang sedang sakit, gemuk atau peserta didik yang kemampuan psikomotoriknya lemah dibanding dengan temannya yang lain dan badan peserta didik terasa lelah. Karena 85% peserta didik sudah mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimum, penelitian tindakan kelas ini dihentikan pada siklus II.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the experience of internship and the role of teachers in the interests of student entrepreneurship. This study uses the ex-post facto method with a quantitative approach. The study population was vocational students in the Technical and Informatics Expe rtise Program in Buol District, which was precisely 160 students. The number of research samples is 113 students using proportional random sampling techniques. Data collection uses questionnaires. Data analysis used multiple regression analysis. The results showed that partially the internship experience (24.19%) and the role of the teacher (13.61%) had a positive and significant influence on the interest in entrepreneurship. While simultaneously the two variables are insightful for entrepreneurship interests of 37.8%. These results indicate that the experience of internship and the role of teachers are more so that it can produce vocational graduates not only ready to work but also able to entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this article is to describe the results of implementing ideas through community service activities in answering the problem of inorganic waste at Mloko Sewu tourist sites, accompanied by steps and procedures for implementation. This article writing method uses qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach. The solution was given in the form of a smart rubbish concept with the final result in the form of a photo corner that has been realized in the Mloko Sewu tour. The application of the smart rubbish concept is expected to provide tourists with education on how inorganic waste should be handled in smart and creative ways, so that this concept can become a tourism identity especially in Mloko Sewu tourism.Keywords: Rubbish Recycling, Photo Spot, Outreach Program, Tourism Village Abstrak. Penulisan artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil implementasi gagasan melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam menjawab permasalahan sampah anorganik di lokasi wisata Mloko Sewu, disertai dengan langkah serta prosedur pelaksanaannya. Metode penulisan artikel ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Solusi yang diberikan berupa konsep smart rubbish dengan hasil akhir berupa photo corner yang telah terealisasi di  wisata Mloko Sewu. Penerapan konsep smart rubbish ini  diharapkan mampu  memberikan nilai edukasi kepada para wisatawan tentang bagaimana sampah anorganik selayaknya harus ditangani dengan cara-cara cerdas dan kreatif, sehingga konsep ini dapat menjadi identitas wisata khususnya di wisata Mloko Sewu.Kata kunci: Daur Ulang Sampah, Spot Foto, Pengabdian Masyarakat, Desa Wisata

Abstract

This study aims to determine the contribution of living laboratory and examine the advantages of living laboratory in MSMEs in Madiun in learning Accounting education, to know and formulate the forms of living laboratory, and formulate living laboratory steps for MSMEs in Madiun in learning Accounting Education. This research method used descriptive-qualitative with a case study approach. The subjects of this study were students who took a course of the business feasibility study of the University of PGRI Madiun. The object of this study was MSMEs in the city of Madiun. The data source in this study consisted of primary and secondary data. The technique of collecting data used observation, interviews and document analysis. Data analysis techniques consisted of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion (verification). The contribution of living laboratory to MSMEs is that management of living laboratory activities starts from activity planning to the implementation and evaluation of living laboratory activities. The living laboratory learning process supports students’ skills. Living laboratory learning is designed and implemented based on procedures and real work standards. Learning activities of Living laboratory are in addition to achieving mastery of competencies, also emphasizing the development of soft skills that are instilled in the individual students which includes intellectual, emotional, spiritual, and social intelligence.
