Abstract

Abstract. Science and technology have been rapidly evolved in some fields of knowledge, including mathematics. Such development can contribute to improvements on the learning process that encourage students and teachers to enhance their abilities and performances. In delivering the material on the linear equation system with two variables (SPLDV), the conventional teaching method where teachers become the center of the learning process is still well-practiced. This method would cause the students get bored and have difficulties to understand the concepts they are learning. Therefore, in order to the learning of SPLDV easy, an interesting, interactive media that the students and teachers can apply is necessary. This media is designed using GUI MATLAB and named as students’ electronic worksheets (e-LKS). This program is intended to help students in finding and understanding the SPLDV concepts more easily. This program is also expected to improve students’ motivation and creativity in learning the material. Based on the test using the System Usability Scale (SUS), the design of interactive mathematics learning media of the linear equation system with Two Variables (SPLDV) gets grade B (excellent), meaning that this learning media is proper to be used for Junior High School students of grade VIII.Keyword: SPLDV, Learning Media, Students’ Electronic Worksheet (e-LKS) *Judul ini telah dipresentasikan pada Seminar Nasional: Indonesian Students Conference on Science and Mathematics(ISCSM) 11-12 November 2015, Banda Aceh Indonesia

Abstract

This research aims to find out the effect of phosphorus fertilizer doses at various concentrations of gibberellins, gibberellin concentration on various doses of phosphorus, the main effects of phosphorus fertilizer and gibberellin which is better for growth and the yield of eggplant plants. The research was conducted at the UPT of the Faculty of Agriculture Universitas RiauPekanbaru starting from January to April 2018 was experimentally arranged in divided plot design using arandomized block design. The main plot is the gibberellin concentration (0, 5, 10 and 15) ppm. The sub plot is the dose of phosphorus fertilizer (92, 138 and 184)kg of P2O5ha-1. The parameters observed: plant height, days to flowering, amount of flowers per plant, harvesting day, amount of fruits per plant, fruit length, fruit diameter and fruit weight per plant. The combinationtreatment phosphorus 184 kg P2O5.ha-1 and giberellin of 15 ppm is better on plant height, days to flowering, amount of flowers and harvesting age. The treatment 92 kg of P2O5.ha-1 and without being given giberellin can increasebetter on the amountof fruits and fruit weight. The treatmentphosphorus at the dose of 92 kg P2O5ha-1 produced the better amount of fruits and fruit weights. The treatment of without gibberellin increased the amount of fruits and the better fruit weight until 90 days of planting. Key words: eggplant plant, phosphorus fertilizer and gibberellins.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the growth of oil palm seedlings (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) Which are continuous puddles for 30 days by planting together with giberelin growth regulators. The study was conducted in the Riau Faculty's lithology garden from August to December 2017, in the form of plot design experiments divided by random patterns repeated three times. Main plot: leaf fertilizer concentration (D), consisting of d0: without leaf fertilizer (0 ppm), d1: 1,500 ppm, d2: 3,000 ppm. Subplots in the form of gibberellin concentration (G), consisting of g0: without giberelin (0 ppm), g1: 15,000 ppm, g2: 30,000 ppm. The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaf midribs, tuber diameter, number of adventitious roots, root volume, root canopy ratio, seed dry weight and seed quality index. The results showed that there was no interaction between leaf fertilizer concentration and gibberellin concentration on the growth component of oil palm seedlings which were harvested for 30 days continuously by air inundation. The height of the oil palm seedlings which ignite the inundation continuously for 30 days can be increased as high as 7.47 cm with the administration of giberellin, but cannot improve on other growth components. The application of leaf fertilizer cannot be used to repair oil palm growth with 30 days of inundation, even increasing seed dry weight 47.40 g. Palm oil seedlings that are prolonged stressed inundation, initiate adventitious plant formation. Keywords: Palm oil seedlings, waterlogging stress, foliar fertilizer and gibberellin.

Abstract

ABSTRACT            The present study aims to improve the growth of palm oil seedling periodically covered with puddle by giving foliar fertilizer and gibberellin. The research was experimentally conducted at an experimental garden of Faculty of Agriculture, Riau University, Pekanbaru from August until December 2017 using completely random split plot design under 3 replications. The main plot is foliar fertilizer concentration (D) consisting of d0 = non foliar fertilized (0 ppm), d1 = foliar fertilized 1,500 ppm, d2 = foliar fertilized 3,000 ppm and the sub plot was gibberellin concentration (G) consisting of g0 = no gibberellin (0 ppm), g1 = gibberellin 15,000 ppm, g2 = gibberellin 30,000 ppm. The observed consists of: seedling height, total leaf midribs, bar diameter, total adventive roots, roots volume, shoot root ratio, dry seedling weight and seedling quality index. The data were analyzed using analysis of variance and orthogonal contrast tests at a level of 5%. The results that dry weight and quality index of palm oil seedling which are periodically covered with puddle are affected by an interaction between foliar fertilizer and gibberellin, while height seedling and dry seedling weight are affected by gibberellin concentration. The height of palm oil seedling which are periodically covered with puddle can be improved use by gibberellin. The weight of dry seedling can be improved through giving foliar fertilizers with gibberellin, provided that the concentrated are both equal. The improvement of seedling quality index with foliar fertilizer is determined by the gibberellin concentration given. Keywords: Palm oil seedling, periodic coverage of the puddle, foliar fertilizer and gibberellin.

Abstract

Sejarah pada masa-masa pertama adalah pertarungan antara dunia Barat Nasrani abad pertengahan dengan dunia Timur Islam, baik dalam keagamaan maupun ideologi. Islam menurut RW. Soutren “merupakan problema masa depan dunia Barat Nasrani secara keseluruhan di Eropa. Disamping unsur ke-Nasranian, orientalisme juga tumbuh subur sejalan dengan sejarah imperialisme dan kolonialisme. Para orientalis dengan dukungan penjajah telah berhasil memalsukan dan memutarbalikkan ajaran-ajaran Islam. Artikel ini ini mengupas kiprah orientalisme dalam dunia Barat dan Islam. Kata Kunci: Orientalisme, Perang Salib, Islam dan Barat.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze: 1) the design of Learning Implementation Planning and the implementation of IPS learning (Social Studies) by using an interactive Indonesian map media, 2) the students’ activity in learning can increase students’ learning motivation, 3) learning evaluation system, 4) the increase of students learning achievement  in Social Studies learning on the material of various nature and human-made appearance  and the time division. The research method used was classroom action research. The research subject were teacher and students of class V of SDN 2 Gotong Royong of  Tanjungkarang Pusat sub-district. The result of the research showed that: 1) RPP design was designed by learning syntax that consisted of four activities, such as the explanation of learning. , 2) students’ activity in learning was delivering questions, giving opinion, answering questions and accomplishing assignments, 3) the evaluation system used multiple choice items, 4) by using interactive Indonesian map media in Social Studies learning could increase students’.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis: 1) desain Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran dan Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran IPS dengan menggunakan media peta Indonesia Interaktif, 2) aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran dapat meningkat kan motivasi belajar siswa,3) sistem Evaluasi Pembelajaran,4) peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS pada materi keragaman kenampakan alam dan buatan di Indonesia serta pembagian wilayah waktu.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian adalah guru dan siswa kelas V SDN 2 Gotong Royong Kecamatan Tanjungkarang Pusat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) desain RPP dirancang dengan sintak pem belajaran, 2) aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran mengajukan pertanyaan, mengemukakan pendapat, menjawab pertanyaan dan menyelesaikan tugas, 3) sistem evaluasi menggunakan soal pilihan ganda, 4) dengan memanfaatkan media peta Indonesia interaktif  dalam pembelajaran IPS dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa secara keseluruhan.Kata kunci: prestasi belajar, IPS, media peta indonesia interaktif

Abstract

This article discusses about the characteristic of woman leadership which described in the Alquran.  The Alquran specifically dokumenting a women who success leading her country in al-Naml. Moreover in the letter of the verse the are signs or symbols of interest that indicate the characteristic of leadership. Therefore, interest to research by using semiotic. Through a semiotic understanding, on surah An-Naml verse 23-44 not only describes the existence of woman leadership, but also describes the characteristics of  Balqis in leading the country of  Saba’. Some of the Balqis’s characteristic leadership are democrasy, wisdom, intelligent, diplomasy and she also loves peace. This story shows that phenomeno woman leadership there was in Alquran and she has good characteristics of woman leadership.

Abstract

The purpose of this observation was determine the level of student motivation through model STAD application, find the model STAD in enhancing learning activities and determine the STAD model in increasing student learning outcomes. Data Collecting Technique in this research was using, test methods, and observation methods. Based on the analysis and discussion, it could be concluded that: Application of STAD cooperative learning model was by reporting the results of the group work in the group at standards of competency of knowing the social deviation, and understanding the factors that influence. The students application of STAD Cooperative learning model by giving different tasks for each group on the standarts of competency knowing the social deviation, and understanding the factors that influence. Application of STAD Cooperative learning model by giving different tasks for each group and report on the work in batches around between groups of standard of competency know the social deviation, and understanding the factors that influence the students.Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa melalui peanerapan model pembelajaran STAD, mengetahui model pembelajaran STAD dalam meningkatkan aktivitas belajar dan mengetahui  model pembelajaran STAD dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode tes, dan metode observasi. Berdasarkan analisis dan pembahasan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa: Penerapan model pembelajaran Cooperative tipe STAD dengan melaporkan hasil kerja kelompok secara berkeliling antar kelompok pada Standar Kompetensi mengenal penyimpangan sosial, pengertian dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi siswa. Tugas yang berbeda untuk setiap kelompok pada Standar Kompetensi mengenal penyimpangan sosial, pengertian dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi siswa. Penerapan model pembelajaran Cooperative tipe STAD dengan pemberian tugas yang berbeda untuk setiap kelompok dan melaporkan hasil kerja kelompok berkeliling antar kelompok pada Standar Kompetensi mengenal penyimpangan sosial, pengertian dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi siswa.Kata kunci: aktivitas, hasil belajar ips, motivasi, stad

Abstract

This research aimed to improve 7th grad students mathematical concepts understanding through the application of STAD type cooperative learning model. This research is a Classroom Action reseach which was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages: action plan, action execution, observation and reflection. Each cycle consists of two meetings and one final test. The subject of this research were 20 students of class VII SMP Plus Nurul Islam Sumber Jaya, Jati Agung Subdistrict, South Lampung Regency. Technique of collecting research data is test. Data analysis used in this research was descriptive analysis. Based on the results of research and discussion can be concluded that the application of STAD type cooperative learning model can improve students mathematical concept understanding.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas VII melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan, yaitu: perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Masing-masing siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan dan satu kali tes akhir. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 20 siswa kelas VII SMP Plus Nurul Islam Sumber Jaya, Kecamatan Jati Agung, Kabupaten Lampung Selatan. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian adalah tes. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah analisis deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa.Kata kunci: Kooperatif, Pemahaman Konsep Matematis, Student Teams Achievment Division

Abstract

Education is the process of humanizing human beings, in other words, education is a humanization process, thus the learning process must be adapted to the human condition. However, there are differences in interpret humanizing human beings, so, resulting the differences in opinion between humanist education according to Islam with humanist education according to western theory. Islam seeshumanizinghumanbeingsbygivingfreedomtohumans as long as it is not contrary to Islam, thus human freedom is not unlimited freedom. This is contrast to the western-based view of humanist education which states that humanist education is education by giving freedom to the students during the learning process. The implication of humanist learning according to Islam which came to be known as humanistic Islamic Education. It is the applicative learning of Islamic Boarding School. Learning with this model, student practice directly about the material that they have learnt. Thus, education is a habit. This means that to improve the quality of outcome needs to be given the education through habituation. The higher level of habituation performed, the higher quality of outcome. The outcomes quality in Islamic Boarding School Darunnajah is quite good. It can be seen that the alumni of Islamic Boarding School Darunnajah are accepted in Gajah Mada University (UGM), Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB) and Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Sunan Ampel. Even many of them are continuing their education abroad, such as : Malaysia, Cairo (Egypt), Madinah and England, while with Pakistan, the cooperation is just opened in 2017. Keywords: Islamic boarding school, Islamic humanistic education, Applicative learning, Outcome. Pendidikan merupakan proses memanusiakan manusia, dengan kata lain pendidikan merupakan proses humanisasi, dengan demikian proses pembelajaran harus disesuaikan dengan keadaan manusia. Namun terdapat perbedaan dalam memaknai memanusiakan manusia, sehingga timbul perbedaan pendapat antara pendidikan humanis menurut agama Islam dengan pendidikan humanis menurut teori Barat. Islam memandang memanusiakan manusia adalah dengan memberikan kebebasan kepada manusia selama tidak bertentangan dengan agama Islam, dengan demikian kebebasan manusiabukanlahkebebasantanpabatas. Hal ini berbedadengan pandangan pendidikan humanis versi barat yang menyatakan bahwa pendidikan humanis adalah pendidikan dengan memberikan kebebasan pada siswa selama proses pembelajaran. Implikasi dari pembelajaran humanis menurut Islam yang kemudian dikenal dengan nama Pendidikan Humanistik Islami adalah pembelajaan aplikatif pondok pesantren. Pembelajaran dengan model ini, santri/siswa mempraktekkan langsung tentang materi yang sudah dipelajarinya. Dengan demikian, pendidikan merupakan pembiasaan. Hal ini berarti untuk meningkatkan kualitas outcome maka perlu diberikan pendidikan melalui pembiasaan. Semakin tinggi tingkat pembiasaan yang dilakukan maka semakin tinggi pula kualitas outcome. Kualitas outcome pondok pesantren Darunnajah cukup baik, hal ini bisa dilihat bahwa alumni pondok pesantren Darunnajah diterima di Universitas Gajah Mada (UGM), Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB) dan Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Sunan Ampel atas beasiswa dari Departemen Agama. Bahkan banyak diantara mereka yang melanjutkan pendidikan ke luar negeri, yaitu : Malaysia, Kairo (Mesir), Madinah dan Inggris, sedangkan dengan Pakistan baru pada tahun 2017 ini dibuka kerjasama. Kata Kunci: Pondok Pesantren, Pendidikan Humanistik Islam, Pembelajaran Aplikatif, Outcome.
