Abstract

Supported liquid membrane (SLM) was prepared by reacting host material with carrier compounds. Carrier compound was Polyethylene Glycol-400 (PEG-400) that have been used with the variation of concentration 0, 2, 4, and 6%. The effect of its variations in SLM was characterized by FTIR and the performance was examined by transporting feed solution Pb(NO3)2 with variation 1, 5, 10, 15, and 25 ppm for 3 hours in pH 3. FTIR spectra depicted that the increasing concentration of PEG would arise the intensity of typical PEG?s functional groups such as -OH, C-O-C, and CH2-CH2 sp3. The optimum transport Pb(II) was achieved by SLM with 6% PEG. Variation of feed solution concentration showed the main effect in SLM activity. The higher of feed solution concentration would decrease of transport activity. The % extract and % recovery 1 ppm was higher than 25 ppm with 72,5% and 70,27% than 6,1% and 3,59%, respectively. Abstract

DAS Martapura merupakan salah satu DAS yang mengalami masalah pengelolaan berkaitan dengan kerusakan hampir semua DAS di Kalimantan. Hal ini yang menjadi alasan diperlukan suatu kajian pengelolaan hulu DAS Martapura yang meliputi Sub DAS Riam Kanan untuk bisa menentukan aspek teknis dan aspek non teknis kerusakan DAS yang mengakibatkan banjir sehingga bisa dilakukan studi lebih lanjut untuk mengurangi banjir sebagai alternatif pengelolaan DAS Martapura secara terpadu.Berdasarkan kajian teknis dan kajian non teknis yang meliputi analisis isu-isu strategis yang diperoleh maka dapat dirumuskan suatu analisis pemecahan masalah.Berdasarkan hasil kajian teknis diperoleh peningkatan debit rancangan dengan untuk degradasi hutan menjadi 25% terjadi peningkatan debir rancangan sebesar 12,5%. Di sisi lain, berdasarkan analisis SWOT hulu DAS Martapura yang meliputi kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang dan tantangan, masih banyak peluang dan kekuatan yang bisa dimanfaatkan untuk mencegah banjir yang terus-menerus sepanjang tahun terjadi di DAS Martapura dengan peningkatan kesadaran dan kerjasama instansi pemerintah dan masyarakatdalam pengelolaan lahan yang baik, selain itu dengan pengawasan yang diperketat maka tantangan dan kelemahan dari pengelolaan DAS Martapura terutama pengelolaan DAS bagian hulu bisa di eliminir.

Abstract

Kegiatan bermain di Taman Kanak-kanak dapat dilaksanakan melalui model pembelajaran yang berpusat di dalam sentra-sentra. Melalui kegiatan di dalam sentra anak bermain sesuai dengn keinginan mereka sendiri dan guru hanya sebagai fasilitator yang membantu anak ketika anak mengalami kesulitan. Penggunaan model pembelajran berbasis sentra akan lebih maksimal ketika didukung dengan kondisi fisik ruang bermain yang menyenangkan dan menarik serta guru yang mampu mendukung proes kegiatan bermain di dalam sentra. Dilihat dari segi penataan ruangan model pembelajaran sentra idealnya memerlukan ruangan yang luas dan menarik serta alat permainan edukatif yang mendukung, sehingga kegiatan bermain dapat terlaksana dengan maksimal. Pemilihan warna, penataan ruangan dan bahan yang digunakan dapat memberikn pengaruh negative dan positif pada anak.Saat ini model pembelajaran berbasis sentra yang awalnya ditetapkan di Taman Kanak-kanak yang besar dan berkelas menengah ke atas, kini sudah mulai diterapkan di lembaga-lembaga pendidikan di Taman Kanak-kanak di daerah, salah satunya adalah di TK Al-Hikmah Kecamatan Garum Kabupaten Blitar meskipun penataan ruangan, fasilitas, dan pemahaman guru mengenai pembelajaran di sentra kurang maksimal. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi bagaimana pengelolaan kelas berbasis sentra di Taman Kanak-Kanak Al-Hikmah Kecamatan Garum Kabupaten Blitar.Penelitian yang digunakan merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitiannya adalah Taman Kanak-kanak Al-Hikmah Kecamatan Garum Kabupaten Blitar. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Untuk data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan interactive model yang dikemukakan Miles.Dari penelitian ini diketahui bahwa dari lima sentra yang di evaluasi terdapat tiga sentra yang sudah dapat untuk dikatakan sebagai sentra. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengelolaan kelas berbasis sentra sudah sesuai dengan teori dan praktek di lapangan. Dengan hasil tersebut, maka Taman Kanak-kanak Al-Hikmah Kecamatan Garum Kabupaten Blitar dapat menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis sentra dalam memberika kegiatan bermain untuk anak.Kata kunci : Pengelolaan kelas, sentraAbstractPlaying activities in kindergarten could be done through leraning model in the based of centrals. Through activities in the playgroup children center according to their own wishes, and teacher only as a facilitator to help children when experiencing difficulties. The us of model based learning centers would be maximal when supported by physical playing funny and exciting room, also teachers who were able to support playing activities process at central. In terms of room arrangement learning model centers ideally required spacious and excitibg room also supporting educational games devices, so that playing activities able to carry out maximumly. Colours selection, room arrangement and materials that used could provide positive and negative effects on children.Currently, learning model based central that was originally implemented in big and upper middle class kindergarten, but it had been deployed now at educational institutions at suburb kindergarten area, one of them is at TK Al-Hikmah Garum Blitar although room arrangement, facilities and teachers comprehention of learning center based central less than maximum. Therefore, this study aimed toevaluate how to arrange classes based central in TK Al-Himah Garum Blitar.The research use qualitative descriptive study. The subject of research was TK Al-Hikmah Garum Blitar. Data collection used observations, interviewes, and documentation. For data obtained and analyzed by using interactive miles model proposed.From research was found that five centrals evaluated, there were three centrals that have been able to say as a central. It could be concluded that arrangement of classes based central at TK Al-Hikmah Garum Blitar was consistent with the teory and practice in field. With these result, TK Al-Hikmah Garum Blitar could use learning model based central to provide playing activities for children.Keywords : Classroom Arragement, Centra.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the effectiveness of problem solving learning model in solubility and solubility product concept to enhance giving reason and identifying conclusion skills.  Students who became the subject of this research was  XI grade of Science 1 Batanghari Senior High School in Batanghari Academic Year 2011/2012.  This research used the pre-experimental method and one group pretest-posttest design. The effectiveness of problem solving learning model was determined based on the average value of n-Gain.  The results of this research showed that the average value of n-Gain of giving reason and identifying conclusion skills were 0,39 and 0,72.  Thus, it can be concluded that the problem solvinglearning model in solubility and solubility product concept effective to enhance giving reason skill in medium category and effective to enhance identifying conclusion skill ept in high category.Keywords: problem solving learning, giving reasons skill, and identifying                    conclusions skill.

Abstract

Flood in Banjar’s Regency was caused by high frequency rainfall. Rainfall is the most important input component in the hydrologic process. This aim of this study is to give the hydrologic analysis at the Riam Kanan Sub catchment. Specific Model needed in study of stream characteristic with the approach to existing system complexity in a catchment, hence compatible model used is such as Even Model and Continuous Model. Based of both study, even in high flow analysis or low flow analysis there was a similar cause the flood at the Riam Kanan Sub catchment, landuse changed. The result of this study indicated that the hydrologic analysis of Banjar’s Regency flood been caused by effect of land use changed, by reduction of forest area become the area of settlement and opened mining.

Abstract

Background: Indonesia ranked 5th in the world for highest number of toddler suffering stunted growth and 7.7 millions toddler are below the red line. In 2014, the incident below red line in Awal Terusan public health center of 2 toddlers. But in 2015, The incidence below red line having an increase significantly of 53 toddler. BGM is a severe malnutrition rate so that when weighed weight is below the red line at KMS. This research aims at examining the determinants occurrence of below red line toddler in health center of Awal Terusan. Method: This type of research is analytic survey research using cross sectional design. The sample was obtained by the formula Lemeshow, with the sampling technique of convenience sampling of the population, namely children under 12 to 24 months and a total sample of 53 toddler. Result: The results showed that the variables that had correlation with the incidence of below red line is an infectious disease (p value=0.024), diet of children (p value=0.000), participation of mother in Posyandu (p value 0,006), mother knowledge (p value = 0,006) and socioeconomic status (p value=0.002). While the variables that are not correlated with the incidence of below red line is excluxive breastfeeding (p value=0,451) and birth spacing (p value=0.177). Conclusion: This research could be reference in order to participate and minimize the risk of below red line toddler that might not be continued.Keywords: Determinants, toddler, below red line DOI: https://doi.org/10.26553/jikm.2016.7.1.48-63

Abstract

The growth ofBanjarmasinCitycause increase of water burden which must be dried and land used increase caused by city growth, it’s caused that incoming rainfall concentration into surface runoff and groundwater decrease. Garbage which change the water quality in river cause the river unable to again run its role as natural drainage system. The aim of this research is give an instruction of Matrix Program of Drainage System of Banjarmasin city by root causes program. It’s consisted of identify the problem, analysis, solution and planning program.Evaluate of drainage system of BanjarmasinCity, by comparing and analysis result of technical calculation with the condition existing, obtained result that channel of exiting drainage still be adequate. So drainage system in BanjarmasinCitydoesn’t have to see as diffraction (macro) and general, but have to handing as micro solution. Existing channel need the handling O&M, also require public participate in lowest-level of drainage system management. And also need the existence of integrated system from all stakeholder that is involved in drainage system management.

Abstract

Flocculation is one of processes to obtain clean water. Starch-graft-polyacrylamide (St-g-PAM) is a copolymer flocculant. This flocculant is synthesized by the “grafting to” method. This study aims to determine the effects of initiator concentration ratio, the terminator concentration and the termination time towards the obtained flocculant performance. Polymerization was carried out in a glass reactor equipped with a stirrer and isothermal conditions. The resulting products were analyzed by FT-IR. The analysis shows the existence bonds of starch and acrylamide. The presence of these groups proves that St-g-PAM was formed. The effect of initiator concentration ratio showed that the performance bioflocculant from mocaf more effective than bioflocculant from modified taro strach, with the higher change value is 76,19 %. Meanwhile, the effect of the terminatorconcentration and the termination timeshowed that the performance bioflocculant from modified taro strach more effective than mocaf, the higher change valuesare 68,57% and 71,76%, respectively.

Abstract

SNI 03-2847-2002 requirement that the water used in the concrete mix should be clean and free of damaging substances containing oil, acids, alkalis, salts, organic matter, or other substances harmful to concrete or reinforcement. But in fact, often we see the use of water as an ingredient in concrete mixtures that do not follow the requirements of SNI. Work in the field often use water that is in that location without regard to the content that is in them that would negatively affect the compressive strength of the concrete. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of water contained in the PDAM water, brackish water in the estuary of the Barito, peat water in the area Sambang Lihum, Martapura river water, Polder Alabio water, and water wells in the area Banjarbaru.This test uses several tools, pH Meter to determine levels of acid and alkali in the water, EC Meter to determine levels of salt in the water, and Water Quality Meters to determine water quality. As for the sulfate content in water testing performed Basic Laboratory Faculty of Science, University of Mangkurat, Banjarbaru.On water quality testing, only Brackish Water samples in estuaryof the Barito ineligible pH and salinity, whereas the content of TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) Brackish Water samples in the estuary of the Barito and Water Wells in Banjarbaru ineligible the standard.
