Abstract

Abstract: This research directed to collect data to arrange dakwah’s (religious proselytizing) map at Sumbang Sub district, consist of systematic and detailed outlook of subject, object, and surrounding on geographical dakwah. From the research we can conclude tat mosque amount not quite enough, and it’s distribution uneven. But the good news is this number increasing every year. Dai (Islamic missioner) also need to add, and its institution still uneven distributed. About education back ground of dakwah target, mostly with elementary education, therefore dakwah must be adjusted with their condition. With this dakwah’s map data, policymaker on religious domain can make development plan with more appropriate target, and dakwah’s agent use it as referent to design dakwah strategy according to social condition. Abstract

Abstract: Semar in wayang show is a mysterious figure. His ambiguous character makes various kinds of interpretation. His history, existence and character in wayang show are always studied by many observers for study purpose. Semar is the assistant of royalty and also a joker. The existence of Semar at the story of Sudamala emphasized and reappeared divinity concept. According to Hazeu, Semar really is a joker or assistant commonly. The jokes are especially a primitive inheritance from ancient era. So, actually Semar is a name of Javanese ancestor and its imagination had been appeared at wayang show from the ancient era. Abstract

Abstract: Pesantren represent "father" of Islamic education in Indonesia. Pesantren borne by the awareness of dakwah Islamiyah (disseminating Islam) obligation, or propagate and develop Islamic teaching, and at the same time yielding the cadre of Moslem scholar or da´i. There are three characteristics as main bases pesantren´s culture. First, traditionalism, namely that pesantren salaf/traditional maintain the classic books as core of education. Second, cultural resistance, namely maintain the pesantren culture that exist for centuries and remain to rely on the elementary teaching of Islam. Third, religious education, namely pesantren constituted, activated, and instructed by worldview which coming from the Islam teaching. This basic teaching is intertwines with the social structure or social reality that experienced in everyday life. Keywords: Pesantren, pesantren’s historical context, Islamic education, curriculum.

Abstract

Abstract: From the development of human family, from the beginning actually woman position dot different with man. Anyway, there’s change when man become superior and dominate woman. Woman became subordinate before man. Recent days there’s effort from woman to take position equal to man. In Java, without intentionally woman from low economic class or grass roots more or less successful to place them self independent from man. Especially on this class, even noticed a form of matrifocality organization where woman can become center of attention, love, and loyalty from their family member, more than used to receive by man or father. Abstract

Dakwah is not only normative understanding of Islamic values, but also understanding human and environment condition as dakwah’s target. In Dakwah activity, we often found many problems as Islamic values bias, poverty, illiteracy, violence, moral decadency, backwardness, etc. These problems cant be solved only with normative teaching. Therefore, proper Dakwah strategy is Dakwah bil hal (practice) or development Dakwah to give solution appropriated with problem faced by umat.Keywords: Strategy, Problem, and Dakwah.

Abstract

dakwah obligation isn’t an easy task. A dai (preacher) have to have appropriate competence to attain dakwah’s goal. These competences are substantive competence and methodological competence. Substantive competence consists of knowledge, understanding, comprehension, and application of religious teaching. Methodological competence related with dakwah planning and methodology. If these two competence mastered by juru dakwah (preacher), his dakwah will be successful.Keywords: competence and dai.

Abstract

Its really a complicated matter to find solution aout madrasah’s position. Various problem which emerge before a period of autonomy, not yet completed, added by new problem which always emerge one another. By otonomization of madrasah institute, madrasahhave to be given the authority to arrange its own bussiness; improving its human resource and managing effort to financing institute self-supportingly, not depended to institute National Religion Departement. Madrasah (state) is under authority of district’s Religion Departement, the duty is only limited to observation structurally and have no authority to intervence the institute. To realize it, madrasah have to apply total quality management to face the free competition.

Abstract

Community Bonokeling is an Islamic community that maintains traditional heritage of their ancestors. They have built a community based on the teachings from their ancestors. Bonokeling is an ascetic and rural community in Pekuncen that is surrounded by the dominance of puritan and goverment. As a subordinate society, Bonokeling community face pressure from and against domination of puritan using mimicry and mokery. They imitate what have been done by puritan with a modification of language and culture. They did it in order to maintain their existence as well as their tactics of resistance and negotiations toward the domination. Komunitas Bonokeling adalah komunitas masyarakat Islam penganut kepercayaan yang mempertahankan warisan tradisi nenek moyangnya. Mereka membangun komunitas berdasarkan pada ajaran leluhurnya. Komunitas Bonokeling di desa Pekuncen merupakan masyarakat yang asketis yang terkepung oleh dominasi agama puritan maupun negara. Sebagai masyarakat yang tersubordinasi, komunitas Bonokeling melawan tekanan dominasi agama puritan dengan melakukan mimikri dan sekaligus mokeri. Mereka meniru apa yang dilakukanoleh Islam puritan dengan permainan bahasa dan perumitan-perumitan budaya. Hal itu mereka lakukan demi untuk menjaga eksistensi mereka sekaligus sebagai taktik resistensi dan negosiasi terhadap yang dominan.

Abstract

This study is intended to find the influence of the Multimedia Flash and VCD in the teaching and learning of plant movement that used POE learning model overviewed from verbal ability and student‘s creativity. The research took 2nd graders of SMP Nuris Semarang. The research took place in the beginning of the second semester of 2011/2012 academic year. There were two classes selected at Nuris junior high school as research groups. The research instruments were in the forms of lesson plan, teaching-learning materials, students activity sheets, observation sheets, tests. The influence of Multimedia Flash and VCD on the students‘ learning results and data’s were analysed by ANOVA with three way analysis of variances. The study showed that (1) there were no effect of the use of Multimedia Flash and VCD with POE learning model, (2) there were an effect of verbal ability on affective and psychomotor aspect, (3) there was no effect of creativity for achievement affective and psychomotor aspect, but there is an influence of cognitive aspect, (4) there was no interaction between Multimedia Flash and VCD with verbal ability on achievement affective and psychomotor aspect, but there is an interaction influence for cognitive aspect, (5) there was an interaction on creativity with Multimedia Flash and VCD from cognitive and affective aspect, (6) there were no interaction between verbal ability and creativity of students, (7) there were no interaction between Multimedia Flash and VCD, verbal ability and creativity for cognitive, affective and psychomotor. Keywords: Media Education, Verbal Ability, Creativity and Plants Movement

Tipologi Nalar Fiqh Wakaf dalam Bahth al-Masâ’il NU

Abstract

Many argued that the NU discourse concerning the idea of endowment is rather static and textual. This can be seen particularly from the so-called Bahth al-Masâ’il, the discussion forum being held regularly by the NU to address various legal issues faced by the community. The forum often comes to no veil. Since 1998 however, the younger generation of the NU initiated the idea of reading the classical thought in contextual terms. This paper addresses this issue by mapping out the typology of NU thinking particularly regarding the notion of endowment. This typology is drawn up from the Bahth al-Masâ’il being held from 1926-2006, and found that there are at least four types of thinking within the organization. First, the restrictivetextual thinking, which looks at the issue of endowment by referring to the Shafi‘ite classical works; second, the electivetextual thinking, which tends to select the most preferable view on a particular issue of endowment; and third, progressive-contextual thinking, which tends to employ the method of collective ijtihâd. The paper discusses these three variants by explaining their characteristics and development.
