Abstract

A High Power Efficiency of Optical Waveguide for Logic X-OR gate has been investigated numerically bymeans of FD-BPM (Finite Difference Beam Propagation Method). The proposed structure is designed by usingof three Y-branches. Two of Y-branches structure is parallel combined in the input section and the other one islocated with the opposite direction of the output section. The whole guiding structure is called 2x3 channelwhich having two-input ports and three-output ports. One of the gap between three output arms in the claddingregion is assumed to be a nonlinear materials which will produce the phase shifting between its output opticalfields. The magnitude of phase shifting is depending on the nonlinearity of material and the optical input power.Y-branch leg angle is also a significant parameter to increase efficiency of optical power switch. The numericalschemes showed that the proposed structure is suitable for optical switching especially for logic X-OR gate.Keywords: Cladding, nonlinear, optical switching, gate, FD-BPM

Abstract

As a primary factor in satisfaction and loyalty, service quality and image has been given a lot of attention. This research used a sample of 120 respondents and analyzed the data using structural equation modeling. Findings reveal that service quality and corporate image are antecedents of customer satisfaction, but customer satisfaction surprisingly does not have positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. The implications for service providers in any platform service industry is that customer satisfaction has not key success to loyalty but continuously improves the quality of service and corporate image of satisfaction, but it creates loyalty to buy services and recommend to others.

Abstract

Shariah Islam is the completed of the rules law, that basede on the Qur’an and Sunnah. It was connected to the law of kewarisan sharia with clearly. Suppose whoever can be ahli waris if same one of moslem was die and wathever of the parts that they got from the warisan. But in the grouth of the sharia Islam, Al-Qur’an was analysied of the fuqaha, suitable for the mind and the life time. each other. This condition had caused the burden to the nash countain the warisan. Depend on change of ahli waris, before walked the Kompilasi Hukum Islam, be confessed can get the warisan (patah titi). By walking the KHI that based on pasal 185, the right of change of ahli waris to get the warisan from the death father can be excepted. KHI is new pruduct of the law that be answeared by the scholar of Moslem which it the previous or the modern of them. The KHI is one of the solution about all problems depend on the marriage, the wakaf and the waris special about the change of ahli waris.

Abstract

Tanakeke Island have the potential of natural resources. The potential is there agriculture, fishing, and tourism, wich require proper utilization so that existing activities meet the fulfiil of carrying capacity. This research was conducted in Tanakeke Island in October 2005, by surveying and interviewing techniques. The data were analyzed by using Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM). In MCDM, weighted values that most influence on the selection criteria, based on factors that include factors bioteknis assessment, consisting of water quality (brightness, current, substrate, pH, salinity and temperature), land area, the availability of fresh water, biological diversity, technology, resource availability and suitability of land; environmental factors which include linkages mangrove ecosystems, coral reefs, seagrass and excessive exploration; Economic factors include market and financial analysis; socio-cultural factors include motivation, work experience, number of indigenous labor / hereditary habits and institutional factors include farmers, capital institutions, regulations, and informal leadership to determine the priority aspects of resource use will be developed. The analysis showed that seaweed farming activities have the highest scoring at level 1 with a value of 2.65 compared to other activities that include fishing, aquaculture, tourism, conservation and residential

Abstract

Islamic influence in Bugis residential planning in Sidenreng Rappang Regencyis believed to have been exist since hundreds years ago. It was since the arrival of Islam inSidenrengRappang Regency around the 16thcentury. The influence can be seen inBugis traditional homes, especially the home of Bugis nobles so-called Saoraja. Bugis people also knew the pecking ordersystem that can affect the form of their homes marked with special symbols in the home. Until now, the existence ofSaorajacan still be found its track even though some have changed or renovated in terms of the forms. The object of this study is 4 (four) Saoraja representing 4 districts or villages in Sidrap Regency. They are SaorajaKulo, Lise, Bilokka and Massepe. It is interesting to be studied and hopefully it will be adopted into the concept in building Islamic modern home.

Abstract

Abstrak_ Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara yang memiliki banyak atlet balap berprestasi dalam taraf internasional. Keberadaan sirkuit balap sangat dibutuhkan para atlet untuk menunjang kegiatan dan mengasah kemampuan balap yang dimiliki. Namun, ketersediaan sirkuit yang sesuai dengan standar internasional di Indonesia masih sangat minim. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini memberikan ide desain sirkuit balap mobil formula satu di Makassar dengan pendekatan arsitektur modern. Melalui metode eksplorasi desain yaitu metode penjabaran ide dan gagasan yang dirumuskan dalam bentuk gambar. Hasil yang diperoleh berupa tata massa bangunan dipilih sistem terpusat, dimana lintasan yang menjadi pusatnya. Sehingga bangunan disekitarnya berorientasi ke lintasan. Sistem  sirkulasi dari dan menuju tapak dibagi menjadi dua dimana sirkulasi untuk pengunjung dipisah dengan sirkulasi untuk team balap. Jalur masuk dan keluar untuk pengunjung juga dipisah, dengan lebar masingmasing jalan 15 m. Sedangkan bentuk bangunan mengambil analogi bentuk dari mobil formula satu dan bentuk aerodinamika dari mobil formula satu. Aerodinamika adalah pergerakan udara ketika berinteraksi dengan benda padat. Dalam hal kendaraan, aerodinamika adalah kecepatan kendaraan dan hambatan udara ketika kendaraan itu melaju. Penerapan tema arsitektur modern pada bangunan dapat dilihat dari bidang-bidang kaca yang lebar, jenis material yang digunakan diekspos secara polos, dan dari bahan material yang digunakan.Kata kunci : Aerodinamika, Arsitektur Modern, Eksplorasi Desain, Sirkuit.Abstract­_ Indonesia is one of the countries that have many athletes of racing achievement in international level. The existence of a racing circuit is needed athletes to support activities and hone the ability of racing owned. However, the availability of circuits that comply with international standards in Indonesia is still very minimal. Therefore, this study provides the idea of the design of the formula one race circuit in Makassar with the approach of modern architecture. Through the method of exploration design is the method of elaboration of ideas and ideas formulated in the form of images. The results obtained in the form of building mass order selected centralized system, where the path to be the center. So the surrounding buildings oriented to the track. The circulation system from and to the tread is divided into two where the circulation for the visitor is separated by circulation for the racing team. Entrances and exits for visitors are also separated, each width by road 15 m. While the shape of the building takes the analogy of the form of the formula one car and the form of aerodynamics of the formula one car. Aerodynamics is the movement of air when interacting with solid objects. In terms of vehicles, aerodynamics is the speed of the vehicle and the air resistance when the vehicle is driving. A set  is a weak edge-edge domination set notated by WEED-set if every edge in  is e-dominated weakly by an edge in  with the condition  and . Weak edge-edge domination number notated by . This final project we study about strong edge-edge domination set, weak edge-edge domination set and application edge-edge domination set namely determining the optimal number of security personnel that will be used to secure an area.

Abstract

Indonesia as one of the biggest tuna fish produsers in the world, produce tuna fish bones large enough. Since tuna fish bone contain high calcium it is potentially to be the raw material of hydroxyapatite. Hydroxyapatite are inorganic compounds constituent of bones and teeth has the moleculer formula Ca5(PO4)3OH. Synthesis of hydroxyapatite can be done with precipitation method through tuna fish bone calcination process at the temperature 900°C for 5 hours to obtain calcium compounds in the form of calcium oxide. Calcium wich has been obtained added phosphoric acid 0,6 M with flow rate/rapid 1 mL/minute. Controlled synthesis process parameters are pH 10 of solution. Yield of hydroxyapatite generated after synthesis with of the precipitation time 12 hours are of 91.15%. hydroxyapatite product obtained was analyzed by FTIR(Fourier Transform Infrared) and XRD (X-Ray Diffraction). FTIR analysis indicate the presence of OH groups, PO4 and CO3. Based on the resulting diffraction of XRD analysis, crystallite size obtained each of 211.29 nm structure is hexagonal. Scherrer method was used to obtain crystallite size.

Abstract

Abstrak— Kota Malino merupakan salah satu Daerah Tujuan Wisata (DTW) Sulawesi Selatan, yang   terletak   ±   80   km   dari   kota   Makassar. Dinas Kebudayaan Dan Pariwisata menjelaskan pada tahun 2013  “minatnya wisatawan   yang   berkunjung   dan   menginap   di   Malino   terus   mengalami peningkatan yang cukup signifikan bahkan di hari-hari tertentu seperti hari libur dan   malam  pergantian   tahun   jumlah  pengunjung   yang  datang  di   Malino mengalami   peningkatan   hingga   dua   kali   lipat   di   banding   dengan   tahun sebelumnya” (travel.okezone.com).   Seiring dengan melonjaknya kunjungan wisatawan yang berkunjung membuat perkembangan pariwisata khususnya yang bergerak di jasa perhotelan dan resort semakin di perhitungkan untuk direncanakan demi memenuhi kebutuhan wisatawan yang hendak menghabiskan waktu untuk berlibur. Tujuan dari perencanaan ini adalah merancang hotel resort dengan pendekatan tropis modern,. Hasil dari perencanaan ini meninjau hal-hal spesifik dari bangunan yaitu pola pengolahan tapak, konsep kebutuhan ruang, material dan struktur serta utilitas bangunan yang mempertimbangkan iklim pegunungan serta sesuai dengan pola penataan bangunan yang tertata secara fungsional . Kata kunci: Malino, Hotel Resort, Arsitektur Tropis Modern.  Abstract- Malino city is one of the Tourism Destination Regions (DTW) in South Sulawesi, located ± 80 km from the Makassar City. "interest of tourists for visiting and staying in Malino increases continues in significant even on certain days such as holidays and New Years Eve the number of visitors who come in Malino increasing two times in then the previous year "(travel.okezone.com). Along the of tourists, it makes tourism development, especially those engaged in  and resort service increase consideraly to being planned in full filling the of tourists who want to spend the time on vacation. The purpose of this planning is to design a hotel resort  with a modern tropical approach. The results of this planning is reviewing the specifics of the building such as that is processing the tread pattern, the concept of space requirements, material and structure and building’s utility which considering the mointans climate and also appropriate with the pattern of building’s arrangements which are arranged functionally. Keywords: Malino, Hotel Resort, Modern tropics Architecture
