Abstract

Konsentrasi dan aktivitas 90Sr saat radioaktif buatan jatuh secara global di bumi pada tahun 1964 dibandingkan dengan konsentrasi dan aktivitas 90Sr di lepas pantai dan daerah pantai Korea-Japan-Russia-China secara tahunan dari tahun 1964 sampai tahun 2000. Konsentrasi 90Sr menunjukkan penurunan secara terus menurus bahkan jauh di bawah exponential decay, hal ini dikarenakan oleh effektifnya lingkungan terhadap waktu paruh. Dari analisa tersebut disimpulkan bahwa konsentrasi dan aktivitas 90Sr di lepas pantai dan daerah pantai Korea-Japan-Russia-China secara original lebih banyak berasal dari radioaktif buatan yang jatuh secara global dari pada dari sumber hasil buangan lokal.Kata kunci: 90Sr, perairan lepas pantai, daerah pantai, exponential decay, globalConcentration and activity of 90Sr in the high seas and coastal regions of Korea-Japan-Russia-China from theglobal fallout to 2000 were studied. The variation of 90Sr in these study areas decreased continuously from1964 when global fallout radioactive was started to 2000. Suggesting that from 1964 to present the 90Sractivity from any local resources at Korea-Japan-Russia-China doesn’t significant, because the 90Sr activitiesmuch lower compared with the exponential decay, it caused by effective environmental half-lives. In conclusion,the activity of 90Sr in the high seas and coastal regions of Korea-Japan-Russia-China originated entirely fromthe global fallout rather than from any local point sources.Key words: 90Sr, high seas, coastal regions, exponential decay, global fallout

Abstract

Distribusi 90Sr di daerah laut lepas dan pantai Korea-Jepang-Rusia-China telah diteliti sejak 30 Juni sampai 2 Agustus 2000. Pengambilan sampel permukaan air laut dilakukan di Laut China Timur, Laut Jepang (LautTimur), Laut Okhotsk dan Barat laut Samudera Pacific. Salinitas, temperatur dan konsentrasi 90Sr bervariasi dan tidak menunjukkan saling berhubungan. Temperatur lebih didominasi oleh pengaruh posisi lintang. Konsentrasi 90Sr banyak dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor seperti sumber limbah buangan radioaktif dan faktor fisika. Dilaut Jepang distribusi konsentrasi 90Sr lebih didominasi oleh pengaruh jarak dari tempat sumber pembuangan limbah radioaktif, tetapi di lokasi-lokasi lain dipengaruhi oleh faktor kondisi fisik.Kata kunci: 90Sr, laut lepas, daerah pantai, faktor fisika.Distribution of 90Sr in the high seas and coastal regions of Korea-Japan-Russia-China have been measured from 30 June 2000 to 2 August 2000. The surface seawaters were collected from East China Sea, Japan Sea (East Sea), Okhotsk Sea and Northwest Pacific Ocean. Salinity, temperature and 90Sr concentration were variable, and did not show correlation each others. The temperature levels dominantly influenced by latitude effect position. The 90Sr activities ranged from not detectable to 2.22 mBq/l (mean: 1.18, n:23). The distribution of 90Sr concentrations were more uniform in the coastal regions than in the high seas regions. The concentration of 90Sr in this study area were caused by some factors such as from source radioactive waste discharge and physical factors condition. The distribution 90Sr in Japan Sea generally was influenced by distance factor from radioactive waste discharge, but the other locations were influenced by physical factors condition.Key words: 90Sr, high seas, coastal regions, physical factors.

Abstract

This study originated from the observation that the author did in SMK Negeri 5 Padang. Low Grade 1 Student Learning Outcomes in Eyes Training Drafting Skills Program Light Vehicle Engineering at SMK Negeri 5 Padang, not in spite of some of the factors that influence it. Motivation is a factor that comes from within the students themselves in the form of encouragement and willingness to participate in learning activities. This research is aimed at revealing correlational and Learning Motivation Relationships with Student Results on the Class Is Training Technical Skills Program Light Vehicle Engineering SMK Negeri 5 Padang. The hypothesis of this study is: there is a liveliness Relations Learning with Student Learning Outcomes in Grade 1s Training and Technical Skills Program Light Vehicle Engineering SMK Negeri 5 Padang. The population in this study were all students of Class I Light Vehicle Technical Skills Program SMK Padang 5 academic year 2012/2013 as many as 98 people. The sample in this study amounted to 50 people taken using proportional random sampling. Learning activity data obtained from questionnaires deployment. The test questionnaire and questionnaire study was conducted on 22 November 2012 until the date of December 22, 2012 in populations outside the study sample. While the learning of training data results obtained from engineering drawings semester grades TA 2012-2013. From the analysis of the research data obtained by calculating the correlation coefficient r> r table (0.4487> 0.279) and to test the significance of correlation obtained t count> t table (3.4785> 1.676) at the 5% significance level. It can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between the activity of learning with students grade 1 in the eyes of Training Technical Skills Program Light Vehicle Engineering SMK Negeri 5 Padang.

Abstract

Prevalensi cacing perut diantara karyawan tambang batu bara Ombilin Sawah Lunto adalah 91,2 persen, 39,8 persen dan 13,persen masing-masing untuk cacing tambang, Ascaris lumbricoides dan Trichuris trichiura. Sebagian besar karyawan tambang bati bara ini menderita anemia (hanya 13,3 persen diantara mereka yang mempunyai kadar haemoglobin dalam batas-batas normal). Ukuran persen diantara mereka yang mempunyai kadar haemoglobin dalam batas-batas normal). Ukuran Unthropometrik menunjukkan bahwa hanya 62,5 persen berat badak untuk tinggi badan karyawan tambang ini termasuk kategori 90 persen atau lebih Standard nasional yang diusulkan. Percobaan pengobatan dengan menggunakan tetramisole (ascaridil) menunjukkan bahwa obat ini memberikan hasil yang memuaskan hanya untuk infestasi A. lumbricoides.

Abstract

AbstractFish culture and shrimp culture has been developing rapidly during the last few decades, itis due to the increase of fish and shrimps demand. Increasing aquaculture activities especiallywith semi-intensive and intensive system have significant effect on waste production, whichhas to be removed or to be reduced quickly because will effect on fish in rearing tank andenvironment when through away to environment such as river and sea. The objective of thisstudy was to know the capability of corrugated plastic to remove or to reduce ammonia,organic matter and Suspended Solids (SS). The result of the study showed that theconcentration of ammonia, organic matter and SS in waste water reduced after were passedto corrugated plastic tank. Reducing of ammonia, organic matter and SS that occurred inshrimps rearing tank for culturing shrimp with treatment different protein concentrationcontain in meal fish were 32% and 28% with removal efficiency for ammonia were 10.95%and 14.37%; organic matter 49.02% and 19.94%; SS were 35.46% and 22.22%. Thistreatment can minimize increasing rate of ammonia, organic matter and SS, thus thistreatment can maintain water quality in rearing tank. So, it can be concluded that corrugatedplastic had capability to reduce or remove of ammonia, organic matter and SS.

Abstract

Selat Makassar merupakan salah satu daerah perairan di Indonesia yang mempunyai lapisan termoklin sekaligus sebagai jalur lintasan Arlindo yang mendapatkan pengaruh musiman akibat pergerakan angin muson yang akan berpengaruh pada struktur lapisan termoklin. Hasil pengolahan data menggunakan software Ocean Data View 4.3.2 menunjukkan bahwa struktur lapisan termoklin di perairan Selat Makassar memiliki sebaran batas atas dengan kisaran kedalaman antara 44,7 – 61,7 m dengan temperatur batas atas 28,34 – 27,61 oC, rata-rata kedalaman sebaran batas atas atas adalah  53,58 m dengan temperatur 28,01 oC. Sebaran batas bawah lapisan termoklin berada pada kisaran kedalaman antara 135,6 – 254,9 m dengan temperatur batas bawah 19,35 – 13,24 oC, rata-rata kedalaman sebaran batas bawah adalah 164,63 dengan temperatur sebesar 17,56 oC. Ketebalan lapisan termoklin berkisar antara 82,2 – 200,11 m dengan ketebalan rata-rata setebal 111,04 m.  Gradien temperatur  lapisan termoklin berkisar antara 0,073 – 0,123 oC/m dengan rata-rata sebesar 0,1oC/m.

Abstract

Kreativitas merupakan kemampuan seseorang dalam membuat sesuatu yang berbeda dari yang lain atau menciptakan sesuatu yang baru. Penelitian bertujuan meningkatkan kreativitas siswa dalam membuat karya fisika melalui model pembelajaran berbasis STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan subyek penelitian sebanyak 33 siswa kelas XI MIPA 6 SMA Negeri 4 Bandung Semester Ganjil Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi dan lembar kerja siswa. Aspek kreativitas dalam membuat karya fisika yang diukur dalam penelitian ini mencakup empat indikator, yaitu fleksibilitas, kelancaran, elaborasi dan keaslian. Penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 siklus yaitu siklus I dan siklus II yang pada setiap siklusnya terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan, tahap observasi dan tahap refleksi, yang masing-masing memiliki 2 pertemuan tiap siklusnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kreativitas siswa dalam membuat karya fisika pada siklus I secara keseluruhan berada pada kategori kreativitas rendah dengan presentase sebesar 31,43% dengan capaian indikator fleksibilitas sebesar 31,06% (kategori rendah), kelancaran sebesar 31,81% (kategori rendah), elaborasi sebesar 29,54% (kategori rendah) dan keaslian sebesar 33,33% (kategori rendah). Pada siklus II kreativitas siswa dalam membuat karya fisika secara keseluruhan berada pada kategori kreativitas tinggi dengan presentase sebesar 81,06% dengan capaian indikator fleksibilitas sebesar 80,30% (kategori tinggi), kelancaran sebesar 81,81% (kategori tinggi), elaborasi sebesar 79,54% (kategori tinggi) dan keaslian sebesar 82,57% (kategori tinggi). Dengan demikian kreativitas siswa dalam membuat karya fisika meningkat dari siklus I ke siklus II melalui model pembelajaran berbasis STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). Kata Kunci: Kreativitas, Pembelajaran Berbasis STEM. ABSTRACT Creativity is the ability of someone to make something different from others or create something new. The research aims to improve students' creativity in making physics through STEM-based learning models (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). This research is a classroom action research with 33 subjects of class XI MIPA 6 Bandung 4 High School Odd Semester Academic Year 2018/2019. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation and student worksheets. Aspects of creativity in making physical works measured in this study include four indicators, namely flexibility, fluency, elaboration and authenticity. This study consisted of 2 cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II which in each cycle consisted of the planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages, each of which had 2 meetings each cycle. The results showed that the creativity of students in making physics works in the first cycle as a whole was in the category of low creativity with a percentage of 31.43% with achievement of indicators of flexibility of 31.06% (low category), fluency of 31.81% (low category ), elaboration of 29.54% (low category) and authenticity of 33.33% (low category). In cycle II students' creativity in making physics works as a whole is in the category of high creativity with a percentage of 81.06% with achievement of flexibility indicators of 80.30% (high category), fluency of 81.81% (high category), elaboration of 79.54% (high category) and authenticity of 82.57% (high category). Thus the creativity of students in making physics works increased from cycle I to cycle II through STEM-based learning models (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). Keywords: Creativity, STEM Based Learning.

Abstract

Bioethanol is a fuel extracted from plant. Bioethanol can be extracted from cassava, sweet potato, sugarcane, corn, grain sorghum, sweet sorghum, sagoo, palms, coconut and rice. The aren palm is the most potential source of bioethanol, and as one of the most productive raw material of bioethanol. A research is needed to be able to produce bioethanol in a simple way so that it can be applayed by society. In this study, the effects of temperature (T) and length of fermentation (t) on ethanol production was examined. Temperature used is 27 oC and 32 oC. Samples from each treatment will be taken every 24 hours, starting from third days, which is 72 hours (H3), 96 hours (H4), 120 hours (H5), 144 hours (H6) and 168 hours (H7). Analysis performed includes changes in the sugar content, pH, total acid and ethanol content. The results showed that sugar content and pH decreased with increasing fermentation time, in both temperature, 27 oC and 32 oC. In contrast total acid was increased with increasing fermentation time. Increase in total acid is related to the formation of acids during fermentation. Ethanol content increased with increasing fermentation time in both 27 oC and 32 oC, though, the increase was higher at 32 oC. Highest ethanol content was obtained on day 5 in temperatures 32 oC.

Abstract

Abstrak Nitrat sangatlah penting bagi kehidupan fitoplankton di laut, sehingga diperlukan kajian tentang sebaran nitrat. Penyebaran nitrat ini dipengaruhi beberapa faktor baik secara lansung dan tidak langsung. Secara langsung penyebaran nitrat dipengaruhi oleh arus pasang surut dan secara tidak langsug dipengaruhi oleh faktor fisika kimia oseanografi, yaitu suhu, salinitas, dan pH. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Perairan Tugu Semarang pada tanggal 1 Maret 2012. Lokasi pengambilan sampel dibagi menjadi 6 stasiun yang dapat mewakili persebaran nitrat di perairan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kandungan nitrat  di perairan Tugu, Semarang dan mengetahui sebaran nitrat yang dipengaruhi faktor hidro oseanografi. Metode yang digunakandalampengambilan sampel air laut adalahpurposive sampling method. Hasil penelitian di perairan Tugu Semarang menunjukkan bahwa tipe pasang surut yang terjadi adalah campuran condong ke harian tunggal. Konsentrasi nitrat ketika surut berkisar 0,288 - 0,342 mg/L, dan ketika pasang 0,283 - 0,337 mg/L. Persebaran nitrat yang terjadi saat surut lebih tinggi konsentrasinya dibanding pada saat pasang. Arus tidak terlalu mempengaruhi pola sebaran nitrat, tetapi penurunan konsentrasi nitrat diakibatkan adanya pengenceran.
