Abstract

Efforts to improve the quality of education through teacher development needs serious attention. One of the flagship projects implemented through professional organizations MGMP empowerment. MGMP can be developed as a forum for the professional development of teachers. Facts on the ground indicate that the performance of MGMP still low. It is a challenge science teachers professional development. Formulation of the research problem is how the model of coaching junior high science teacher professionalism in management MGMP Teaching Clinic? The purpose of research described Teaching Clinic MGMP management model as a model of professionalism coaching junior high school science teacher. Benefits of the research as materials development science education human resource management (MSDMP). The model developed can be used as study design, organization, coaching, evaluating performance and professionalism of science teachers. The study design is a Research and Development (R & D) to develop management models MGMP Science Teaching Clinic SMP Semarang. The products produced in this study is the management model and the Guidelines for Teaching Clinic MGMP. Validation results showed the model can be used as a junior high science teacher professional development. The effectiveness of the model shown in performance enhancement science teacher before and after participating in the Cluster Clinical Didactic methodical. This means that the performance of science teachers through the Teaching Clinic is better than before. Conclusions showed that MGMP empowerment through Teaching Clinic to improve service quality in building and developing the junior high science teacher professionalism. Teaching Clinic MGMP serves as a follow-up professionally assistance given to teachers who have problems. Recommended science teacher, MGMP, Teaching Management Clinic at the Department of Education and related agencies as a model of training and professional development of teachers through MGMP.

Abstract

PGRI Semarang universities develop character education in every interaction both academic and non-academic. Strengthening these characters contained in Catur Dharma of the University, imitation. Based on the above, do research designing monitoring and evaluation of the model-based imitation of character education for the academic community of the PGRI Semarang University. This study uses R & D.Design based on the indicators set out in the imitation contained four components, namely the character of self-awareness, social awareness, self-management, and social skills. This model describes the monitoring and evaluation of imitation-based character education are implemented in an integrated manner. Suitability monitoring and evaluation design, implementation monitoring and evaluation, and monitoring and evaluation instrument of accession with the activities of the academic community into the main direction of this model.Research recommendations are given to the agencies to be able to change the conceptual model into a contextual model

Abstract

The purpose of this study are: (1) Finding out how much is the influence of school culture on educational quality, (2) Finding out how much is the influence of the competence of teachers to the quality of education, and (3) Finding out how much is the influence of school culture and teacher competence collectively to the quality of education. The population in this study was all State junior high school teachers throughout the Sub District of Randudongkal District of Pemalang, the number of the population was 225 people, and the samples were selected using proportionate random sampling technique as many as 69 people. The data analysis was using descriptive analysis, the test of data requirements, and analysis, / regression test. The test results for the prerequisite of research data it is concluded that the data were normally distributed, homogeneous, linear, does not incur multicollinearity and does not incur heteroskedasticity. While from the hypothesis test, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect on the school cultures to the quality of education in the total of 0.911 with a contribution of 82.8%. There is a significant effect of teacher competence on the quality of education at 0.790 with a contribution of 61.9%. There is the influence collectively on the School Culture and Teachers Competence against Education Quality of 0.977 with a contribution of 95.3%

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran dan menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan visioner kepala sekolah terhadap efektivitas sekolah di sekolah dasar negeri Kecamatan Slawi, mengetahui gambaran dan menganalisis pengaruh iklim sekolah terhadap efektivitas sekolah di sekolah dasar negeri Kecamatan Slawi, dan mengetahui gambaran dan menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan visioner kepala sekolah dan iklim sekolah terhadap efektivitas sekolah di sekolah dasar negeri Kecamatan Slawi.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuesioner. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif, uji persyaratan dan uji hipotesis. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru sekolah dasar negeri di Kecamatan Slawi yang berjumlah 231 orang. Pengambilan sampel dengan teknik simple random sampling  sebanyak 147 guru dari 37 SD Negeri. Hasil uji prasyarat dari data penelitian diperoleh data berdistribusi normal, linier, tidak multikolinier.Hasil penelitian diperoleh (1) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan kepemimpinan visioner kepala sekolah terhadap efektivitas sekolah, (2) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan iklim sekolah terhadap efektivitas sekolah, dan (3) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan kepemimpinan visioner kepala sekolah dan iklim sekolah secara bersama-sama terhadap efektivitas sekolah

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis: (1) nilai-nilai dasar budaya sekolah berbasis mutu di SMP Takhassus Al Qur’an Tarub Kabupaten Tegal, (2) cara penanaman nilai-nilai budaya sekolah di SMP Takhassus Al Qur’an Tarub Kabupaten Tegal, (3) cara mempertahankan budaya sekolah berbasis mutu di SMP Takhassus Al Qur’an Tarub Kabupaten Tegal.Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam pemelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian menggunakan jenis penelitian naturalistik. Tempat penelitian adalah di SMP Takhassus Al Qur’an Tarub Kabupaten Tegal. Desain dan langkah penelitian dilaksanakan dengan mengadakan pra penelitian terlebih dahulu, kemudian menyusun instrumen penelitian dan melaksanakan pengumpulan data dengan kehadiran peneliti sebagai instrumen utama pengambil data. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumen. Teknik analisis data yaitu dengan mereduksi data yang diperoleh, menyajikan data kemudian membuat kesimpulan dari data yang didapatkan. Pengecekan keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik.Hasil penelitian dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa nilai-nilai dasar budaya sekolah berbasis mutu yang dikembangkan SMP Takhassus basis mutu adalah nilai-nilai akhlak mulia, disiplin, dan tanggung jawab. Cara penanaman nilai-nilai budaya sekolah berbasis mutu adalah dengan menggunakan cerita, ikon, dan ritual budaya sekolah. Untuk mempertahankan nilai-nilai budaya sekolah berbasis mutu adalah dengan melakukan seleksi, manajemen puncak, dan sosialisasi.

Abstract

Understanding the potential of self is very necessary to be given in an effort to prepare a tough generation of 21 century who have adequate skills. The fundamental problem is the low ability of self-recognition of kinesthetic response and communication between person and person in his group. Marginal children as well as groups of children The changes and demands of school curricula are directed to the development of the 21st-century generation. The study of kinesthetic and interpersonal skill indicators as part of the development of basic skills is developed in both formal and non-formal education. This study aims to analyze the increase of bodily-kinesthetic and interpersonal skill in science learning in MTs through the application of the scientific approach. The design of this research is quasi-experiment (Quasi-Experimental Design) which form Posttest-Only Control Design. The population in this research is all students of class VIII MTs Negeri Mranggen. The sample consists of two classes taken with simple random sampling technique. There is a significant difference between bodily-kinesthetic and interpersonal skills that use learners worksheets with the teaching materials used in the school. The difference is indicated by the average bodily-kinesthetic and interpersonal skill values between experiment classes that have a higher value than the control class. Data were analyzed by using the right side t-test. Based on the results of data analysis can be concluded that the application of the scientific approach has an effect on the increase of bodily-kinesthetic and interpersonal skill of MTs students.

Abstract

Tantangan zaman membawa pergeseran paradigma pendidikan. Tantangan tersebut menjadi latar belakang utama pergeseran kompetensi peserta didik di sekolah. Pembentukan pribadi yang cerdas, mandiri, bermartabat, dan memiliki kesiapan untuk melakukan kerja menjadi capaian utama pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, inovasi pengelolaan pembelajaran diperlukan dalam mencapai tujuan tersebut. Pengembangan bodily kinesthetic dan interpersonal skill peserta didik dikemas melalui pengelolaan pembelajaran sains (khususnya IPA dan Fisika) dengan model POMER (Planning, Organizing, Maximizing The Potential, Evaluating, Reflecting). Model ini dibangun dan dikembangkan dalam penelitian Research and Development. Hasil validasi ahli menunjukkan model POMER layak digunakan sebagai model pengelolaan pembelajaran sains dengan tingkat kelayakan 83,33%. Hal ini berarti pengelolaan pembelajaran sains dapat ditingkatkan untuk memaksimalkan potensi peserta didik. Model POMER lebih meningkatkan pengembangan potensi kinestetik dan interaktif peserta didik. Potensi kinestetik dapat dikembangkan dalam bodily kinaesthetic skill dan interaktif dapat dikembangkan melalui interpersonal skill. Penelitian direkomendasikan pada guru IPA dan guru Fisika dalam mengemas pembelajaran POMER untuk memaksimalkan potensi peserta didik melalui pengembangan bodily kinesthetic dan interpersonal skill.Kata kunci: Model Pengelolaan Pembelajaran, POMER, bodily kinesthetic dan interpersonal skill

Abstract

National Examination subjects often become subjects scourge for all parties concerned. Not only students but school administrators often feel such concerns. Selection of subject teachers in accordance with the needs and objectives of the school to be one example of the role of the teacher determines the success of the national exam. Therefore, efforts to improve teacher quality national examination subjects is needed. Independently self-development should become self-awareness. Support from stakeholders motivates teachers to always work and achievement.This study uses a quantitative descriptive design. Focus observed were junior high school teachers with national examination subjects in the area of North Semarang.Results of the study describe IX class teacher profile in the selected region. Triangulation of the results showed a very heavy burden on teachers and teacher influence self-management is concerned. This has an impact on the low self-development of teachers. Recommendations are given to schools and stakeholders in fostering professionalism IX classroom teachers independently as an effort to improve achievement and school quality.

Abstract

Permasalahan utama penelitian ini adalah motivasi kerja, budaya sekolah dan  kepuasan kerja guru SMK Negeri di Kabupaten Jepara, Tujuan penelitian ini (1) mengetahui pengaruh motivasi  kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja  guru (2) mengetahui pengaruh budaya sekolah terhadap kepuasan kerja  guru (3) mengetahui pengaruh motivasi kerja dan budaya sekolah  terhadap kepuasan kerja  guru SMK Negeri di Kabupaten Jepara.Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah guru SMK Negeri di Kabupaten Jepara dengan jumlah 415 orang. Sampel penelitian adalah 81 orang guru. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik  proportional random sampling. Uji validitas dan reliabilitas, uji normalitas, uji linearitas, uji regresi tunggal dan regresi ganda menggunakan SPSS.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan motivasi kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja guru sebesar 25,1%, sisanya sebesar 74,9% dipengaruh oleh faktor lain. 2) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan budaya sekolah terhadap kepuasan kerja guru sebesar 16,6%, sisanya sebesar 83,4% dipengaruh oleh faktor lain. 3) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan motivasi kerja dan budaya sekolah terhadap kepuasan kerja  guru  SMK di kabupaten Jepara sebesar 33,3%, sisanya sebesar 66,7% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.Saran dari penulis agar kepala SMK Negeri di Kabupaten Jepara menyusun program pembinaan terhadap guru secara terpadu untuk meningkatkan motivasi kerja dan budaya sekolah yang baik sehingga kepuasan kerja guru akan meningkat.
