Abstract

Nation Indonesia is a multicultural nation, therefore, education should be developed in accordance with the conditions of a multicultural society. Appropriate education for development in a multicultural society is multicultural education. In a study of multicultural education is necessary to increase the awareness that all learners have special characteristics because of their age, religion, gender, social class, ethnic, racial, or cultural characteristic embedded in each self. Multicultural education deals with the idea that all learners regardless of their cultural characteristics, should have equal opportunities to learn in school. Differences that exist between them is a must, and that difference must be received in reasonable not to discriminate. In order to achieve the goals of multicultural education needs to develop appropriate learning strategies and appropriate, one of which is based on learning the local culture. Local culture is a culture that is direct, close, and physically is all around us. Local culture is usually introduced by family and close relatives. Each region in Indonesia has a specificity that can be the regional identity. The specificity could be because of race, history, location, religion, and beliefs espoused. Diversity and distinctiveness can be used by teachers in developing multicultural education.

Abstract

Warga negara muda memiliki peran penting dalam pergaulan internasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana membangun wawasan global sesuai karakteristik warga negara muda. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode grounded theory. Sumber data terdiri dari sumber kepustakaan dan responden yang dipilih dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan studi dokumentasi dan wawancara. Analisis data menggunakan analisis induktif. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan bahwa membangun wawasan global warga negara muda harus memperhatikan aspek perkembangan biologis (fisik), kognitif, bahasa, dan sosioemosional. Warga negara muda termasuk dalam periode masa remaja.Pada periode ini, seorang anak semakin ingin bebas dan mencari jati diri. Pemikiran mereka menjadi semakin abstrak, logis, dan idealis.Kata kunci: pendidikan kewarganegaraan, wawasan global, warga negara muda

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study was aimed at determining the influence of project citizen based on mass media on student’s critical thinking skills, and the implication towards student’s personal resilient in second grade of Senior High School 4 Surakarta, Central Java.This research was a quasi experimental study with pretest-posttest control group design. This research was conducted in class XI semester 2 at Senior High School 4 Surakarta, Central Java in the academic year 2017/2018. The research population was all of second grade student’s in Senior High School 4 Surakarta, Central Java. Sampling was taken by simple random sampling technique. This study used one experiment group and one control group. Data collection was done through pretest, posttest, questionnaire, and observation. The research instruments in this research were test and non test instruments. The data analysis technique used multivariate analysis of variance manova test using SPSS 22.0.The result of this research showed that  there was significant influence of project citizen model based on mass media on student’s critical thinking skills with significance of 0.033 ≤ 0.05. The equal 0.033 with positive signs indicated the positive direction (accordance), meaning that the better implementation of project citizen model based on mass media, the better also student’s critical thinking skills. Critical thinking skills that showed a positive direction have implications towards students personal resilience. The critical thinking skills that students possess were essentially clear or logical thinking and actually look deeply at relevant concepts by exploring things like the fundamental problem. In the process of critical thinking, all things are considered to be contemplated, thought out, and then concluded logically and clearly. It is a high-level thinking skill that becomes students personal resilience as a young citizen in order to analyze problem solvingABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh praktik belajar kewarganegaraan berbasis media massa terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis dan implikasinya terhadap ketahanan pribadi siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 4 Surakarta, Jawa Tengah.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi experimental (eksperimen semu) dengan desain penelitian pretest-posttest. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada kelas XI semester 2 di SMA Negeri 4 Surakarta, Jawa Tengah tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Populasi penelitian yaitu siswa kelas XI di SMA N 4 Surakarta, Jawa Tengah. Teknik pemilihan sampel yaitu teknik simple random sampling. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada satu kelompok eksperimen dan satu kelompok kontrol. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara pretest, posttest, kuesioner, dan observasi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah instrumen tes dan non tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji analisis multivariat varian menggunakan program SPSS 22.0.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan positif dari model praktik belajar kewarganegaraan berbasis media massa terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dengan signifikansi sebesar 0,033 ≤ 0,05. Angka 0,033 bertanda positif menunjukkan arah positif (searah), artinya bahwa semakin baik penerapan praktik belajar kewarganegaraan berbasis media massa maka semakin baik pula keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Keterampilan berpikir kritis yang menunjukkan arah positif (searah) berimplikasi terhadap ketahanan pribadi siswa. Keterampilan berpikir kritis yang dimiliki siswa merupakan pemikiran secara jelas atau logis dan benar-benar melihat secara mendalam terhadap berbagai konsep yang relevan dengan mengeksplorasi hal-hal seperti masalah yang mendasar. Dalam proses berpikir kritis, semua hal dipertimbangkan untuk direnungkan, dipikirkan, kemudian disimpulkan secara logis dan jelas. Hal ini merupakan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi yang menjadi ketahanan pribadi siswa dalam rangka analisis penyelesaian masalah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan: (1) Modul pembelajaran pendidikan antikorupsi sebagai sumber belajar yang layak untuk peserta didik SMA kelas X, (2) Modul pendidikan antikorupsi yang efektif pada hasil belajar peserta didik di SMA, (3) Modul pendidikan antikorupsi yang efektif pada sikap antikorupsi peserta didik di kelas X. Penelitian ini merupakan model penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) dihasilkan modul pendidikan antikorupsi yang layak sebagai sumber belajar pada mata pelajaran PPKn kelas X; (2) modul pendidikan antikorupsi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik di SMA. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan perolehan gain score dan meningkatnya nilai mean; (3) modul pendidikan antikorupsi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan sikap antikorupsi peserta didik di SMA. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan perolehan gain score dan meningkatnya skor mean.Kata kunci: modul, pendidikan antikorupsi, pendidikan pancasila dan kewarganegaraan DEVELOPING ANTI-CORRUPTION EDUCATION MODULE IN THE SUBJECT OF PANCASILA AND CIVICS EDUCATION OF HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS GRADE XAbstractThis research aims to produce: (1) anti-corruption education learning modules for high school students grade X, (2) anti-corruption education modules that effectively improve the learning outcomes of students in high school, and (3) anti-corruption education modules that effectively improve the anti-corruption learners in grade X. This research model is research and development (R&D) based. The following conclusions were drawn from the research results: (1) The development results in anti-corruption education modules in subjects Pancasila  and Civics Education in grade X, (2) anti-corruption education modules are affective to improve learning outcomes of students in high school as evidenced by the acquisition gain score and an increase in the mean value, (3) anti-corruption education modules are affeetive to improve the anti-corruption attitudes of high school students. This is evidenced by the acquisition gain score and an increase in the mean score.Keywords: module, anti-corruption education, pancasila  and civics education
