Abstract

This study aims to describe readers’ reception of story fact elements (character, plot, and setting) in Ayat-Ayat Cinta (AAC). The data sources were reception texts uploaded by readers and were downloaded through Google. The data analysis and interpretation employed a combination of two perspectives, i.e. text reception and hermeneutics. The findings show that readers respond to the elements in the reception with positive and negative tones. In general, however, they respond to the elements positively. The characters that most readers respond to are Fahri, Aisha, Maria, and Nurul. Readers respond to the plot of AAC holistically, but most of them respond to only parts of the plot. They respond to two settings, i.e. spatial and social settings. Keywords: readers’ reception, story fact

Abstract

This study examines the difficulties of students learning the motion of bedana dance at extracurricular activities at Bandar Lampung 7 High School. The theory used is constructivism theory. The research methods used were observation, interviews, documentation, and test techniques. The theory used is learning and discussion methods in bedana dance learning. The data sources of this study are teachers and 8 students. The technique for collecting data is observation, interviews and documentation. The research instruments used were observation, interviews, documentation. Analysis of the data used is data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing. The implementation of learning the first steps students warm up, the teacher delivers the material, students are divided into three groups, and the teacher evaluates, in the third stage is the assessment of students' bedana dancing abilities. There are 2 aspects observed, namely, aspects of wiraga and aspects of wirama. The ability to dance bedana in every aspect is good. Penelitian ini meneliti kesulitan siswa dalam mempelajari gerak tari bedana pada kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di SMA 7 Bandar Lampung. Teori yang digunakan yaitu teori konstruktivisme.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan teknik tes.Teori yang digunakan yaitu pembelajaran dan metode diskusi pada pembelajaran tari bedana.Sumber data penelitian ini adalah guru dan 8 siswa.Teknik untuk mengumpulkan data adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan  yaitu observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran langkah pertama siswa melakukan pemanasan, guru menyampaikan materi, siswa dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok, dan guru melakukan evaluasi, pada tahap ketiga yaitu penilaian kemampuan menari bedana siswa. Ada 2 aspek yang diamati yaitu, aspek wiraga dan aspek wirama.Kemampuan menari bedana pada setiap aspek yaitu baik. Kata kunci: ekstrakurikuler, gerak, identifikasi, tari bedana.

Abstract

This study examines the difficulties of students learning the motion of bedana dance at extracurricular activities at SMA Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung. The theory used is constructivism theory. The implementation of learning the first step students warm up, the teacher delivered the material, and the teacher conducted an evaluation, in the third stage, namely the assessment of students' bedana dancing skills. Difficulties experienced by students are on hand, foot and mendak movements. this was experienced by AD students and MJ at the third meeting. On Wiraga Aspects students are categorized as less, namely students AK and RD while in the Wirama aspect students are categorized as less namely MJ students. The difficulty experienced by these students is caused by internal factors, namely lack of motivation in oneself, in each exercise is always not serious, it is difficult to understand the movements being taught, and lack of flexibility of the body. Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang kesulitan siswa belajar gerak tari bedana pada kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di SMA Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung.Teori yang digunakan yaitu teori konstruktivisme. Teknik untuk mengumpulkan data adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran langkah pertama siswa melakukan pemanasan, guru menyampaikan materi,dan guru melakukan evaluasi, pada tahap ketiga yaitu penilaian kemampuan menari bedana siswa. Kesulitan yang dialami siswa yaitu pada gerakan tangan, kaki dan mendak. Ini dialami oleh siswa AD dan MJ pada pertemuan ketiga. Pada Aspek Wiraga siswa yang dikategorikan kurang yaitu siswa AK dan RD sedangkan pada aspek Wirama siswa yang dikategorikan kurang yaitu siswa MJ. Kesulitan yang dialami siswa tersebut disebabkan oleh faktor internal yaitu  kurangnya motivasi dalam diri sendiri pada setiap latihan selalu tidak serius,sulit memahami gerakan yang diajarkan dan kurangnya kelenturan tubuh. Kata kunci: ekstrakurikuler, gerak, identifikasi,  tari bedana.

Abstract

Loan words mean words from origin language that become part of another language and used like their own language. Novel 5 cm by Donny Dhirgantoro was used in this research. Reads novel well to know which words were loan words was the technique that used. Loan words were absorbed by three ways, such us loan words that doesnt need to change by EYD because the words was absorp in long time, loan words that havent absorp yet into Indonesian language so the words have to write based real language form, and loan words that phoneme and spells were based of EYD. Based on curiculum of 1994 and 2004, loan word were learned in indonesian language subject. Even on next curiculum it doesn’t there, but we can still write loan words well based the way of EYD.Unsur serapan adalah kata-kata dari bahasa asal yang menjadi bagian bahasa lain dan digunakan seperti bahasa sendiri. Novel 5 cm karya Donny Dhirgantoro dipakai penulis dalam penelitian ini. Teknik yang digunakan adalah membaca novel dengan baik untuk mengetahui mana unsur serapan. Unsur serapan dalam novel diserap dengan kaidah EYD: unsur yang sudah lama terserap dalam bahasa Indonesia tidak perlu diubah ejaannya, unsur asing yang belum sepenuhnya terserap dalam bahasa Indonesia sehingga pengucapan dan ejaannya mengikuti cara asing, dan unsur yang pengucapan dan penulisannya disesuaikan dengan kaidah bahasa Indonesia. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah kurikulum 1994 dan 2004, istilah serapan diajarkan dalam pelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Meskipun pada kurikulum selanjutnya tidak diajarkan, namun kaidah penulisan unsur serapan masih dirasakan sampai sekarang.Kata kunci: implikasi, novel, unsur serapan.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to describe the structure of paragraph in students essay of class XI IPA1 at Senior High School 12 Bandarlampung in the year of 2012/2013. The method applied is descriptive qualitative method. The structure paragraph applied is the first structure paragraph which consists of  topic sentence and supporting details that consist its sentences. The second structure paragraph consists topic sentence, direct supporting details and indirect supporting details which consist of  39 sentences. The third structure paragraph consists  topic sentence, some direct supporting details, and one of supporting details has indirect supporting details which consists seven sentences. The fourth structure paragraph consists topic sentence, some direct supporting details and each of the supporting details has indirect supporting details which consist four sentences.Tujuan penelitian adalah mendeskripsikan struktur paragraf pada karangan siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 12 Bandarlampung Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Struktur paragraf  yang digunakan, yaitu struktur paragraf  pertama yang terdiri atas kalimat topik dan kalimat pengembang langsung berjumlah 45 penggunaan. Pada struktur paragraf kedua yang terdiri atas kalimat topik, kalimat pengembang langsung, dan kalimat pengembang tidak langsung berjumlah 39 penggunaan. Struktur paragraf ketiga terdiri atas kalimat topik, beberapa kalimat pengembang langsung, dan salah satu kalimat pengembang langsung itu memiliki kalimat pengembang tidak langsung berjumlah 7 penggunaan. Struktur paragraf keempat terdiri atas kalimat topik, beberapa kalimat pengembang langsung, dan masing-masing kalimat pengembang langsung itu memiliki kalimat pengembang tidak langsung berjumlah 4 penggunaan.Kata kunci: karangan siswa, paragraf, struktur.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to describe the use of Indonesian idiom based on its shape, types, and source of Ranah 3 Warna novel by A. Fuadi along with the implications of the use of idiom as teaching material of Bahasa in senior high school. The research method was qualititative research. The whole use of idioms which were found in Ranah 3 Warna Novel by A. Fuadi were 158 idioms. From its shape, there were 51 partly idioms shape and 107 full idiom. From its genre, there were 145 expressions idioms, 12 proverb, and 1 pameo. In learning Bahasa, this research was related to learning material. Ranah 3 Warna novel by A. Fuadi could be used as teaching material so that students understand the use of idioms in discourse better.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan idiom bahasa Indonesia berdasarkan bentuk, jenis, dan sumber yang terdapat pada novel Ranah 3 Warna karya A. Fuadi serta Implikasi penggunaan idiom sebagai bahan ajar bahasa Indonesia di SMA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif. Keseluruhan penggunaan idiom yang ditemukan pada novel Ranah 3 Warna karya Ahmad Fuadi berjumlah 158 idiom. Dari bentuknya, 158 idiom ini terdapat 51 idiom berbentuk sebagian, dan 107 berbentuk penuh. Dilihat dari jenisnya 145 idiom berjenis ungkapan, 12 idiom berjenis peribahasa, dan 1 berjenis pemeo. Pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia, penelitian ini berkaitan dengan materi pembelajaran. Novel Ranah 3 Warna karya Ahmad Fuadi dapat dijadikan bahan ajar agar siswa lebih memahami penggunaan idiom dalam wacana.Kata kunci: idiom, implikasi, novel, pembelajaran.

Abstract

The research problem is the values of character education short stories in Lampung Post first half of 2013 and its feasibility as teaching materials in high school literature. The study aimed to describe the value of character education short stories Lampung Post first half of 2013 and assess its feasibility as teaching materials in high school literature. Character education values contained in Lampung Post short stories first half of 2013 comes in a variety of ways. The values of twelve values scattered into fifteen short stories. There are visible through the words of the characters, the events in the story, there is implicitly present , and also through the actions of short stories. Value of character education short stories contained in Lampung Post in the first half of 2013 is suitable as alternative teaching materials used in high school literature.Masalah penelitian ini adalah nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter cerpen Lampung Post semester pertama tahun 2013 dan kelayakannya sebagai bahan ajar sastra di SMA. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai pendidikan karakter cerpen Lampung Post semester pertama tahun 2013 dan menilai kelayakannya sebagai bahan ajar sastra di SMA. Nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang terdapat pada cerpen Lampung Post semester pertama tahun 2013 hadir dengan beragam cara. Nilai-nilai tersebut berjumlah dua belas nilai yang tersebar ke dalam lima belas cerpen. Ada yang tampak melalui perkataan tokoh, peristiwa dalam cerpen, ada yang hadir secara implisit, dan juga melalui perbuatan tokoh cerpen. Nilai pendidikan karakter yang terkandung dalam cerpen Lampung Post edisi semester pertama tahun 2013 layak dijadikan alternatif bahan ajar sastra di SMA.Kata kunci: cerpen, nilai, pendidikan karakter.

Abstract

The problem of this research is how is the conflict in the short story at the collection of short story Laki-laki Pemanggul Goni. The purpose of this research is to describe the conflict in the collection of short story and its implications upon literature learning in SMP. This research used qualitative descriptive method. The data resources were taken from many short stories in the collection of short story. It is found that the collection of short story makes use of (1) the intrapersonal conflict, (2) the interpersonal conflict, and (3) the intragroup conflict. Conflict management contained in the short story is (1) how to avoid, (2) competition, (3) accommodation, (4) compromise, and (5) collaboration. Collection of short story Laki-laki Pemanggul Goni is worthy to be used as a alternative learning material for students in SMP in terms of (1) aspect of language, (2) psychological aspect, and (3) aspect of cultural background.Masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah konflik dalam cerita pendek pada kumpulan cerpen Laki-laki Pemanggul Goni. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan konflik dalam kumpulan tersebut dan implikasinya terhadap pembelajaran sastra di SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini cerita pendek dalam kumpulan cerpen tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data ditemukan (1) konflik manusia dengan dirinya sendiri, (2) konflik manusia dengan manusia, dan (3) konflik manusia dengan masyarakat. Manajemen konflik yang terdapat dalam kumpulan cerpen tersebut adalah (1) cara menghindari, (2) kompetisi, (3) akomodasi, (4) kompromis, dan (5) kolaborasi. Kumpulan cerpen Laki-laki Pemanggul Goni layak dijadikan sebagai alternatif bahan ajar siswa di SMP ditinjau dari (1) aspek kebahasaan, (2) aspek psikologis, dan (3) aspek latar belakang kebudayaan.Kata kunci: bahan ajar, cerita pendek, konflik.

Abstract

The problem in this research is how the learning process develops the idea into paragraph subject at class X. This study aims to describe the learning process develops the idea into paragraph subject at class X.5 SMA Negeri 16 Bandar Lampung. Research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data source is an activity of learning between language teachers and students totalling 37 students. Data collection techniques used inthis study is observation, interviews, and documentation (photos and video). Data analysis techniques used are analysis of flow models, and performed simultaneously which includes the reduction of the data,the presentation of the data, and draw conclusions. The findings in study are learning implementation plans developed the idea into paragraph subject seen from the activity of teacher and students class X.5 SMA Negeri 16 Bandar Lampung learning year 2012/2013.Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana proses pembelajaran mengembangkan gagasan pokok menjadi paragraf pada siswa kelas X. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran mengembangkan gagasan pokok menjadi paragraf pada siswa kelas x.5 SMAN 16 Bandar Lampung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian adalah kegiatan pembelajaran antara guru bahasa Indonesia dan siswa yang berjumlah 37 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi,wawancara, dan dokumentasi(foto dan vidio).Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis model alir, dan dilakukan secara bersamaan  yang mencakup reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan .Temuan-temuan dalam penelitian ini adalah rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran mengembangkan gagasan pokok menjadi paragraf dilihat dari aktivitas guru dan aktivitas siswa kelas X.5 di SMA Negeri 16 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2012/2013.Kata kunci: gagasan pokok, paragraf, pembelajaran mengembangkan.

Abstract

The research problems in this research  is about the appropriateness of three elements of style (diction, figurative language, imageri) in Andrea Hirata’s  novel entitled Sebelas Patriot as teaching learning material of Indonesian language and literature at first year student of senior high school. This research aims to describe the appropriateness of those three elements of language style as the language learning material in senior high school.  The data of the research was taken by Andrea Hirata’s novel entitled Sebelas Patriot. The research method in this research was descriptive qualitative research design. In which the data was taken by the process of read a whole novel’s content, take a note, and identify the three language elements. Furthermore, the researcher analyzed and concluded the data of analysis result to find out whether or not Andrea Hirata’s entitled Sebelas Patriot can be included as the learning material for Indonesian language and literature at the senior high school level. The results of the research showed that the foreign diction was dominated by the England diction, due to the England football popularity. Nowadays, the term in English football was really familiar with the Indonesian football lovers because those people considered that football was come as the nature of England. Figurative language was dominated by the comparison of figurative language in which simile took the first place in figurative language usage. Meanwhile, antonomasia, paradoks, paralelisme, tropen came as the less usage of figurative language. It can be caused by the aims of the author whose refers to compare the similar things to the comparison object. Imagery in this novel was imagery in vision, audio, and palpability. The most useful imagery was imagery vision and imagery of palpability was the less one. It can be probably caused due to the author’s desire in taking the audience falling for the novel’s setting.  Due to the highly relation of diction studies namely diction, figurative language, and imagery towards the language learning material at first year students’ of senior high school in Indonesian language and literature. Thus, the teacher can use the Andreas Hirata’s novel entitled Sebelas Patriot as language learning material since it provides the diction usage of figurative language and imagery. In shorts, since the learning materials was appropriate to the language and literature in language aspects. It can concludes that Andrea Hirata’s Sebelas Patriot is appropriate to be the alternative teaching learning material of Indonesian language and literature at the first year students of senior high school especially in the intrinsic aspects namely language style.Keyword: novel, appropriateness, element of style
