Abstract

The purpose of this service is to improve the ability of elementary school teachers in realizing enjoyable learning through the development of archipelago dongeng material. The subject of this service is an elementary school teacher in the city of Surakarta. The method used in this service begins the Workshop, Practices, and Implementation. In conducting this training, subjects were asked to work on tests related to the development of fairy tale material. Analysis of the data used is pre-test and post-test. The results of this activity are an increase in the knowledge and understanding of teachers about the development of the archipelago fairy tale teaching materials.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kosakata bahasa Inggris melalui Mind Map pada anak kelompok A1 TKIT Nur Hidayah tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dan setiap siklus terdiri dari dua kali pertemuan dan setiap kali pertemuan terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan obsevasi dan refleksi. Hasil menunjukan dari pratindakan persentase ketuntasan kosakata bahasa Inggris sebanyak 3 anak atau 23%, siklus I meningkat sebanyak 7 anak atau 54%, dan pada siklus II meningkat sebanyak 11 anak atau 85%. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kosakata bahasa Inggris dapat ditingkatkan melalui Mind Map pada anak kelompok A1 TKIT Nur Hidayah Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014.Kata Kunci: Kosakata Bahasa Inggris,Mind Map

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to improve the speaking skill through Initiation Debate method in Indonesian language subject. The form of this research was Classroom Action Research (CAR) and it was conducted in three cycles. Each cycle consisted of four phases, namely planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The technique of collecting data are used interviews, observations, performance testing, and documentations. The technique of analyzing data use the interactive analysis model consists of three components, namely data reduction, data display, and conclucion or verification. The conclusion from this research is the application of Initiation Debate method can improve the speaking skill in Indonesian language subject of the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 01 Bolon in the academic year of 2013/2014. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara melalui metode Inisiasi Debat pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang berlangsung selama tiga siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, tes unjuk kerja, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model analisis interaktif yang terdiri dari tiga komponen, yaitu reduksi data, sajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan (verifikasi). Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan metode Inisiasi Debat dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas V SD Negeri 01 Bolon tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Kata Kunci: Keterampilan berbicara, metode Inisiasi Debat.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve the understanding of energy concept by applying Visualization, Auditory, Kinestethic (VAK) learning model in third grade students of SD Ta?mirul Islam Surakarta in academic year 2017/2018. The from of this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which the implementation is done with two cycles and each cycle there are two meetings. Eachcycle consists of four stages : planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subject of this research is the students of the third grade of SD Ta?mirul Islam Surakarta with the number of the students is 25 students. The techniques of collecting the data that used in this study are observation, interview, test, and documentation.The technique of validity test is the validity of content. The result of this research shows that there is an increase of value understanding the energy concept from pre-action value until the implementation of cycle II.

Abstract

Abstract: The research aimed to improve of concept comprehension on economy activity by applying Advance Organizer model to the students in IVth grade of Karanganyar State Primary School in academic year 2016/2017.This research was a classroom action research which was held in two cycles. There were four stages in each cycle, which was planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects were I as researcher, teacher, and students in IVth grade of Karanganyar State Primary School in academic year 2016/2017. The data were data of the comprehension on economy activity, student’s activity, and teacher’s activity. The data sources were the teacher and the students in IVth grade. The data collection techniques were test, observation, and interview. Data validaty was triangulation. Data analysis was interactive analysis which consisted of data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing.The result shows that application of Advance Organizer model can improve the concept comprehension on economy activity of the students in IVth grade of Karanganyar State Primary School in academic year 2016/2017. Abstrak:Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep kegiatan ekonomi melalui penerapan model Advance Organizer pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Karanganyar Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017. Subjek penelitian ini adalah saya sebagai peneliti, guru, dan siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Karanganyar tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Data yang digunakan adalah data pemahaman konsep kegiatan ekonomi, data aktivitas siswa, dan data aktivitas guru. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa kelas IV. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes, observasi, dan wawancara. Uji validitas data yang digunakan adalah triangulasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis interaktif yang terdiri dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Advance Organizer dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep kegiatan ekonomi pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Karanganyar tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Kata Kunci: pemahaman konsep, kegiatan ekonomi, model Advance Organizer

Abstract

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mennyimak anak dan mendeskripsikan hasil penerapan storytelling dengan media audio pada anak. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, setiap siklus terdiri tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kondisi awal persentase ketuntasan anak mencapai 43,75%, pada siklus I persentase ketuntasan anak mencapai 62,5%, pada siklus II persentase ketuntasan anak mencapai 81,25%, dan dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui penerapan storytelling dengan media audio dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menyimak pada anak kelompok A TK Al-Huda Kerten Surakarta Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014.Kata kunci: Kemampuan menyimak, storytelling dengan media audio, anak TK Kelompok A

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve math problem solving skill through the implementation of cooperative learning model of Think Talk Write (TTW) type in grade V students of SD N Surakarta. Research subjects are researchers and 40 students of grade V SD N Surakarta. Techniques of collecting data conducted are any observation techniques, interviews, tests, and documentation. Validity of data used is the content validity, source triangulation, and triangulation technique. Based on the results of research indicate that the average pre-action value equal to 52,7 with classical completeness 22,50%, increase in cycle I equal to 72,73 with classical completeness 67,50%, and increase again 80,5 with classical thoroughness 90 %. Based on the data it can be concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning model type Think-Talk-Write (TTW) can improve the skills of solving mathematics problems on the students of grade V SD N Surakarta academic year 2017/2018.

Abstract

Based on the observation result the listening skill on  short stories of students class V of SDN Sigit II,Tangen, Sragen in academic 2017/2018 still low. Students experience problems on concentration and remember the contents of short stories. This research aims to:(1) apply Mind Mapping to improve listening skill on short stories, and (2) to describe the precise steps of Mind Mapping to improve listening skill on short stories.This research is clasroom action research (CAR) conducted during two cycles. Each cycles consists of four stages, there are planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The subject of this research is fifth grade students of SDN Sigit II. Technique of data collecting used observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity technique used were content validity, triangualtion of techniques and triangulation of source. Technique of the data analysis used is interactive analysis. Result of this research indicate that listening skill on short stories of students class V of SDN Sigit II from preaction until cycle II has increased by 86,6%. The conclusion of this research are: (1) the implementation of  Mind Mapping can improve the listening skill of short stories of fifth grade students at SDN Sigit II,and (2) discribed the precise step of Mind Mapping to improve listening skill on short stories
