Abstract

The objective of the research is to find out the position of fresh fruit bunch (FFB) price of oil palmdetermined by regional government in a range of its price predicted by bilateral monopoly marketapproach, meaning that whether it have protected plasma farmers and reaching a price that reflectedbalance bargaining positions, or it tended to come close to a monopsonist price or to monopolist price.Three nucleus estate smallholders (NES) types was selected as samples to be examined their conditionand data (1998-2002) in this research, which were NES-Transmigration managed by private andpublic firms, and NES of small scale credit type. Single equations analyses of econometric modelwere used to estimate FFB price and volume in constructing demand and supply curves of thecommodity. The results show that the determined FFB price is proven to have protected farmers frommonopsonist price application without that intervention. However, the its level in bilateral monopolymarket perspective, in which KUD representing farmers as a monopolist, still closed to monopsonistprice. This also reflects stronger bargaining power of the nucleus firm than the plasma farmers, andthe status of FFB price as a derivation of world CPO price. More strong commitment and seriousattempt are needed from both sides to increase partnerships works in order to obtain fair FFB price inthe future.

Abstract

The purpose of this study are: (1) to determine the structure of the household income of rice farmers in lowland swamp land, and (2) to determine the distribution of household income of farmers in various typologies lebak.Penelitian wetlands was held in Ogan Ilir and Ogan Ogan Ilir in March until May 2013. Sampling technique is simple random sample of 222 farmers, or 10.5 percent of 2,111 respondents used in this research. These respondents were divided into 3 groups: farmers who cultivate land swampy marsh embankment, mid and deep. The method used is a survey method. Data collected consist of primary and secondary data. The structure of household income farmers viewed from the contribution of a business on total household income, while the income distribution is calculated using Gini index. The results showed the contribution of household income on lebak dikes and in largely derived from non farming, to contribute to the embankment of lebak by 63.62% and amounted to 48.43% in the lowland, while in the mid lebak largely derived from rice farming with a contribution of 70.03%. The distribution of household income in the three types of inequality lebak almost evenly with relatively low because it has a Gini index of less than 0.4.Keywords: contribution, distribution, revenue

Abstract

The study aim to 1) Describing of business pattern developed farmer households in various typologies of lowland swamp land, and 2) Analyzing household income of farmers in various businesses developed in lowland swamp land. The sampling method used is a simple random sample with a total of  responden  as many as 222 farmers. The study used a survey method. The results showed that the business pattern of households at shallow swampy, ie: Horticulture: annual fruit, Livestock: chickens and goats, trade, household industry, transport services, Rice, fishing, horticulture: vegetables and fruits a season and crops: cassava and peanuts, Labour, fish farming. The business pattern of households at middle swamp, ie: horticulture: annual fruit, Livestock: ducks, trade, household industry, transport services, rice, fishing, horticulture: vegetables and fruits a season, Labor, fish farming. The business pattern of households at deep swampy, ie: Horticulture: annual fruit, Livestock: duck and buffalo, trade, household industry, transport services, rice, fishing, horticulture: vegetables and fruits a season, Labor, fishing, fish farming. Household income in each of the  swampy land, ie: household income  the shallow swampy amounted Rp19.525.400/year.  The household income  the middle swampy amounted Rp20.212.000/year.  The household income the deep swampy amounted Rp18.248.000/yearKeywords: pattern of business, income, household, lebak, surveyABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini 1) mendeskripsikan pola usaha yang dikembangkan rumah tangga petani pada berbagai tipologi lahan rawa lebak, dan 2) menghitung pendapatan rumah tangga petani pada berbagai pola usaha yang dikembangkan pada lahan rawa lebak. Metode penarikan contoh yang digunakan adalah sampel acak sederhana (random sampling) dengan jumlah total sebanyak 222 orang petani. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pola usaha yang dikembangkan petani lahan rawa lebak pematang adalah: hortikultura:buah-buahan tahunan, Ternak: ayam dan kambing, dagang, industri rumah tangga, jasa angkutan, padi, penangkapan ikan, hortikultura: sayuran dan buah-buahan semusim dan palawija: ubi kayu dan kacang tanah, Buruh, budi daya ikan. Pola lebak tengahan: hortikultura:buah-buahan tahunan, Ternak: itik, dagang, industri rumah tangga, jasa angkutan, padi, penangkapan ikan, hortikultura: sayuran dan buah-buahan semusim, Buruh, budi daya ikan.  Pola usaha rumah tangga pada lebak dalam: hortikultura:buah-buahan tahunan, Ternak: itik dan kerbau, dagang, industri rumah tangga, jasa angkutan, padi, penangkapan ikan, hortikultura: sayuran dan buah-buahan semusim, Buruh, penangkapan ikan, budi daya ikan. Pendapatan rumah tangga yang mengusahakan lebak, yaitu lebak tengahan: Rp20.212.000/rumah tangga/tahun, lebak pematang Rp19.525.400/rumah tangga/tahun dan lebak dalam Rp18.248.000/rumah tangga/tahun. Kata kunci: pola usaha, pendapatan, rumah tangga, lebak, survei

Abstract

CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) lingkungan merupakan tindakan atau konsep yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan (sesuai kemampuan perusahaan tersebut) sebagai bentuk tanggungjawab mereka terhadap sosial dan lingkungan sekitar dimana perusahaan itu berada. Menurut Anatan (2008), CSR merupakan salah satu wujud partisipasi dunia usaha untuk mengembangkan program kepedulian perusahaan kepada masyarakat sekitar melalui penciptaan dan pemeliharaan keseimbangan antara mencetak keuntungan, fungsi-fungsi sosial dan pemeliharaan lingkungan hidup. Penelitian ini  termasuk penelitian deskriptif dengan metode survey. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 382 Kepala Keluarga (KK) dengan teknik pengambilan sampel adalah stratified random sampling. Data disajikan dalam bentuk grafik serta narasi untuk menginterpretasikan data tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan skor jawaban responden implementasi program CSR lingkungan PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk yang selalu dan sering dilakukan di Kelurahan Sukajadi, Air Gading, Talang Jawa, Saung Naga, Tanjung Agung, Pusar dan Batu Kuning adalah pada indikator program pengembangan prasarana keagamaan dan fasilitas umum dan indikator program pemberian bantuan korban bencana alam. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa Implementasi program CSR Lingkungan PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk berpengaruh terhadap kondisi sosial ekonomi masyarakat di wilayah ring I Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu. Saran penelitian adalah perlu dibuat strategi kebijakan pembuatan program CSR Lingkungan PT Semen Baturaja yang lebih memperhatikan nilai lokal masyarakat, agar efektifitas dan efisiensi program dapat dicapai

Abstract

Commodity development of agriculture in the from of primary product in Indonesia which began with the rubber has developed abaout a century, and the relatively recent palm thirty-five years. Most of the primary product are exported to the word market and the price is always fluctuating according supply and demand conditions of the word market this led to foreign exchange earning and income economic actors foreign earnings will only be obtained if downstream industry is developed for both these commodities south Sumatra has a great opportunity to implement the downstream industry on the basis of abundant raw material resources ,the existence of a development plan in the ocean port of Tanjung Api-api, development of transport infrastructure, energy, water, and support a variety of related institutional. Of course the main actor is the both domestic and foreign,either already engaged in the crumb rubber industry as well as other industries.One location is in special economic zone (KEK) near Tanjung Api-api, and most importantly, a strong commitment and cooperation between actors coherent, government ,the public and researchers to realize the development of downstream industries of rubber and palm oil.

Abstract

Peningkatan jumlah destinasi wisata di Bogor telah mengakibatkan persaingan ketat pada industri pariwisata. Situasi ini mengakibatkan taman wisata air terjun untuk fokus pada pembangunan citra destinasi yang kuat dan pelayanan yang berkualitas agar memberikan kepuasan kepada pengunjung serta menimbulkan niat berkunjung kembali. Penelitian ini menemukan adanya pengaruh kualitas jasa dan citra destinasi terhadap kepuasan niat berkunjung kembali pada taman rekreasi air terjun di Bogor. Populasi penelitian ini adalah pengunjung wisata air terjun akhir minggu di bulan September 2015 dengan ukuran sampel 114 responden. Metode nonprobability sampling dan teknik convenience sampling digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif dan kuantitatif menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modeling dengan Smart PLS 2.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas jasa dan citra destinasi masing-masing berpengaruh langsung terhadap kepuasan dan niat berkunjung kembali. Selain itu, kepuasan pengunjung berpengaruh langsung terhadap niat berkunjung kembali. Oleh karena itu, pengelolaan kepuasan pengunjung melalui penyediaan kualitas jasa dan citra destinasi yang tinggi merupakan faktor penting dalam mendapatkan niat berkunjung kembali.

Abstract

Industri telekomunikasi telah berkembang dengan pesat dalam beberapa decade terakhir. Deregulasi pada sector telekomunikasi membuka peluang yang lebih besar bagi perusahaan perusahaan telekomunikasi untuk bersaing dalam penyediaan layanan seluler. Salah satu strategi untuk bertahan hidup yang ditempuh adalah dengan membangun kesetiaan pelanggan. Tujuan riset ini adalah untuk menganalisis inter-relasi determinan-determinan dari kesetiaan yang terdiri atas kualitas jasa, nilai yang dipersepsikan, dan kepuasan pelanggan. Populasi yang digunakan dalam studi ini adalah pengguna kartu pra bayar GSM Simpati. Adapun pengolahan data dilakukan menggunakan SEM dengan bantuan perangkat lunak LISREL 8.7. Validitas dan reliabilitas diukur menggunakan confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). Dari enam hipotesis, lima di antaranya diterima sedangkan lainnya ditolak. Kualitas jasa memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap nilai yang dipersepsikan dan kepuasan pelanggan namun tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap kesetiaan pelanggan. Pengaruh kualitas jasa terhadap kepuasan adalah lebih besar daripada pengaruh kualitas jasa terhadap nilai yang dipersepsikan. Kepuasan dan kesetiaan dipengaruhi oleh nilai yang dipersepsikan pelanggan. Pengaruh dari nilai yang dipersepsikan terhadap kesetiaan adalah lebih besar daripada terhadap kepuasan. Kesetiaan pelanggan mempengaruhi kepuasan pelanggan secara positif dan signifikan. Berdasarkan pada kontribusi dari indikator dari konstruk, untuk memperoleh kesetiaan pelanggan, Telkomsel perlu memelihara dan meningkatkan cakupan wilayah, kualitas suara, kualitas hubungan, dan kualitas sinyal dari Simpati. Dengan peningkatan dari kualitas, pelanggan akan merasakan nilai yang positif termasuk pengorbanan tenaga, upaya, dan waktu dari pelanggan. Sebagai tambahan, hal ini akan menciptakan kepuasan pelanggan yang menggunakan layanan kartu pra bayar GSM Simpati dan memberikan rekomendasi dan komunikasi mulut ke mulut yang positif.Kata Kunci: kualitas jasa, nilai yang dipersepsikan, kesetiaan, kartu pra bayar

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the role of satisfaction and commitment as mediating the effect of service quality on student loyalty as the user of Open University's Online Tutorial. Based on data analysis on student of Management program 229 as respondents with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), this study found the relationship between: (1) positive influence of service quality to satisfaction and loyalty of students using tuton; (2) the positive effect of satisfaction on student loyalty using tuton; (3) satisfaction is a mediator between service quality and loyalty of students using tuton. Conversely, commitment has no positive effect on student loyalty as a tuton user. In addition, commitment does not mediates the effect of satisfaction on the loyalty of tuton users. Abstract

Lastinawati et al, 2018. Price Transmission Analysis of Rice in Ogan Komering Ilir District, South Sumatra Province. JLSO 7(1):43-49. Price transmission is one indicator of whether or not a marketing system is efficient and also can explain the distribution of welfare between producers and consumers in the marketing channel. This study aimed to analyze the transmission of rice prices which are the basic needs of the Indonesian people, both the price transmission of consumer to farmers, and vice versa, with two groups of rice based on their quality, namely premium and medium rice. This research conducted at Ogan Komering Ilir District, South Sumatra Province. Price transmission was analyzed using price transmission elasticity, using weekly rice price series data from the second week of March 2016 to the second week of September 2018. The results showed that the transmission of consumer prices of premium and medium rice to the price of harvested dry grain at farmer level had an elasticity value not equal to one, and vice versa. This showed that the rice market in Ogan Komering Ilir Regency was in elastic and less efficient, because prices were transmitted asymmetrically.

Abstract

Online tutorials is one form of e-learning are given UT. Since the registration period 2013.1 - 2014.2, the number of courses offered in Tuton increased 11% and participants increased 52%. Although Tuton has been growing rapidly, but the total decline in the number of students from the registration period 2013.1 to 2015.1. A decrease in the number of students can be justified as an indicator of lack of loyalty or retention of students. The main objective of this study was to test the relationships between the antecedents of loyalty, service quality, commitment, satisfaction, and reputation. The study population was coming from four faculties and one graduate program.Non probability method of sampling with judgmental sampling technique used in this study. The minimum required sample size of 200 respondents. Survey data collection is done by inviting respondents by email to fill out a questionnaire online in google site. Then the data were analyzed either descriptively and quantitatively using descriptive analysis and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Results of hypothesis testing showed 6 of 7 hypothesis is accepted with significant results. The sixth hypothesis are the influence of the quality of services to satisfaction; the effect on the reputation of the quality of services; the effect of commitment to student satisfaction; the effect of satisfaction to reputation; the effect of satisfaction on loyalty; and the effect of reputation on loyalty. As for the hypothesis is rejected is the effect of the reputation on commitment. Tutorial online merupakan salah satu bentuk e-learning yang diberikan UT.Sejak masa registrasi 2013.1-2014.2, jumlah mata kuliah yang ditawarkan dalam tuton bertambah sebesar 11% dan peserta tuton meningkat 52%. Walaupun tuton telah berkembang pesat, tetapi secara total terjadi penurunan jumlah mahasiwa dari masa registrasi 2013.1 hingga 2015.1. Penurunan jumlah mahasiswa dapat dijustifikasi sebagai salah satu indikator rendahnya loyalitas atau retensi mahasiswa.Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah menguji relasi-relasi diantara anteseden loyalitas, yaitu kualitas jasa, komitmen, kepuasan, dan reputasi.Populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta tuton masa registrasi 2015.1 yang berasal dari 4 fakultas dan 1 program pascasarjana.Metode nonprobability sampling dengan teknik judgemental sampling digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Adapun ukuran sampel yang diperlukan minimum 200 responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan  secara survei dengan mengundang responden melalui surel untuk mengisi kuesioner online dalam situs google. Kemudian data dianalisis baik secara deskriptif maupun kuantitatif menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan 6 dari 7 hipotesis diterima dengan hasil yang signifikan. Keenam hipotesis tersebut adalah pengaruh kualitas jasa terhadap kepuasan; pengaruh kualitas jasa terhadap reputasi; pengaruh komitmen terhadap kepuasan mahasiswa; pengaruh kepuasan terhadap reputasi; pengaruh kepuasan terhadap loyalitas; dan pengaruh reputasi terhadap loyalitas. Adapun satu hipotesis yang ditolak adalah pengaruh komitmen terhadap reputasi.
