Abstract

This classroom action research focuses on improving the instruction quality of Research Method course at a special educational-need teacher education. The improvement is deemed necessary because the course is not positively responded by the students of this teacher education. Group investigation model is then implemented in this research method course for two cycles. The results of the study indicate that group investigation Model improves students’ active participation in the course, students’ responding skills, and students’ achievement.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) mendeskripsikan wujud campur kode yang berupa kata; (2) mendeskripsikan wujud campur kode yang berupa frasa; (3) mendeskripsikan wujud campur kode yang berupa baster; (4) mendeskripsikan wujud campur kode yang berupa pengulangan kata; (5) mendeskripsikan wujud campur kode yang berupa idiom; dan (6) mendeskripsikan wujud campur kode yang berupa klausa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara teknik wawancara bertahap, teknik simak bebas libat cakap, teknik rekam, dan teknik catat. Instrumen penelitian adalah peneliti terlibat langsung dalam pengambilan data yang dibantu dengan alat tulis dan alat rekam. Dalam analisis data digunakan teknik deskriptif. Teknik penyajian hasil analisis data yang digunakan ialah teknik informal. Berdasarkan hasil analisis disimpulkan bahwa (1) campur kode yang berwujud kata berjumlah 53 buah; (2) campur kode yang berwujud frasa berjumlah 22 buah; (3) campur kode yang berwujud baster berjumlah 9 buah; (4) campur kode yang berwujud pengulangan kata berjumlah 19 buah; (5) campur kode yang berupa idiom berjumlah 13 buah; dan (6) campur kode yang berwujud klausa berjumlah 24 buah.   Kata kunci: campur kode, sosiolinguistik

Abstract

Abstract: The reading skill of low mental disordered children needs sto be improved. They do not get trouble in their articulation, but their vocabularies cannot run well. Therefore, they get difficulties in communicating with other, in the learning process of Indonesia language, they get difficulties. Therefore, the result of their learning is very low. In the learning process through notebook, the children will read easily. It can improve their confidence because they can read through this media and their skill is not different from other children. This research aims to know the improvement of the reading skill through note bppk for the low mental retarded children. The subjects of this research are 5 children of fourth grade at Delta Sejahtera inclusive school Tanggulangin Sidoarjo. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) by using the cycles for the design. The learning process is conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings. Each meeting is conducted in 60 minutes. The data collecting methods used are observation and test. The data is analyzed by using the average score. The result of the research shows that there is an improvement. It can be proven from the children’s activity in the learning process. In the first cycle, the result is 2.55% in the first meeting and it become 3.22% in the second meeting. In the second cycle, the result is 12.13% in the first meeting and it becomes 17.9% in the second meeting. Based on the result, it can be concluded that there is an improvement of the reading skill of low mental disordered children at fourth grade through notebook in the process of Indonesia Language Learning.Keywords : study result, note book.

Abstract

abstract Problems faced by mental retardation children causes their low study result. It can be seen from the mathematics subject which demands the students to have abstract thinking. The teacher should understand learning model in order to conduct effective learning process to improve the study result. Based in this background, the researcher applies make a match type as cooperative learning model to find its effect for mild mental retardation children’s study result at second grade of SDLB-C Harmoni Sidoarjo.This research is quantitative research in the form of pre experiment research. The design used is the one group pre test post test design. The data collecting technique used is test. It is used to get the mathematics study result before and after giving the treatment. The treatment is conducted in eight times and 60 minutes each. The data analysis technique used is nonparametric statistic analysis, sign test.Based on the analysis by using sign test, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of make a match type as cooperative learning for the mild mental retardation children’s mathematic study result at SDLB-C Harmoni Sidoarjo. The critical score of 5% for one side test (1,64) and two sides test (1,96) show that Z count (2,03) is bigger than Ztable or Zcount > Ztable.Keywords: make a match, mathematic study result

Abstract

AbstrakMental retarded child is a child who has the intelligence under the average intelligence. They have difficulties in speaking. This problem has relation with their cognitive skill. Therefore, their speaking problems must be minimized. Based on the field observation at Dharma Wanita inclusive school Lebo Sidoarjo, mental retarded children’s speaking skill is still moderate. The problems are in the form of unclear pronunciation, decision of stating only the last word, and saliva which is always produced. They often do not understand when they are communicating or being given question. Therefore, the sensory integration approach is used to minimize their speaking problem. It is because the sensory integration approach is in line with the mental retarded children’s characteristics.Based on this background, this is a research aims to analyze the effect of sensory integration for moderate mental retarded children’s speaking skill at Dharma Wanita inclusive school C Lebo Sidoarjo. This research is a pre experimental research by using quantitative approach, single subjeck research and A-B reversal design. The data analysis is simple descriptive statistics.The result shows that in the baseline phase (A), the moderate mental retarted children’s frequency in pronouncing, speaking, and stating the transportation is 3-7. This frequency shows the variable or instability. After applying the sensory integration approach, their speaking skill is improved as 9-1.Based on the intra condition visual, it shows a better change. The inter condition visual shows the relation between conditions. Abstract

Murwakala is the story of the puppet show that is usually used in  the Javanesse traditional seremonial namely ruwatan. Since it is oral tradition, it should be changed into the written text when it is analyzed further through the phylological process.  The main process in philological activities is determining the most reliable text form. For this purpose, it is necessary to understand particular knowledge on the author, culture and tradition that have influence on the work. This is due to the fact that the main task of philology is criticism towards text and the purpose of the text criticism is the text that is the closest version to the original text. It should be done   because usually every story teller has his own style in telling the story, that leads to the variations. In order to get the  story which has the best quality, the textual comparation should be done. This article presents those process to get the best written text.Keywords: Murwakala, Filologi, Ruwatan

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan:1) Mengetahui seberapa besar tingkat penerapan model aptitude treatment interaction pada mata pelajaran IPS; 2) Mengetahui seberapa besar tingkat hasil belajar kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan model aptitude treatment interaction pada mata pelajaran IPS; 3) Mengatahui seberapa besar tingkat hasil belajar kelas kontrol dengan tidak menggunakan model aptitude treatment interaction pada mata pelajaran IPS; 4) Mengetahui pengaruh hasil belajar IPS siswa dengan menggunakan model aptitude treatment interaction. Penelitian dilakukan di MI Nurul Falah Kubang, menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui observasi. Hasil penelitian ini mendapati; Pertama, tingkat penerapan model aptitudetreatment interaction pada mata pelajaran IPS adalah baik; Kedua, tingkat hasil belajar kelas kontrol sebelum pembelajaran cukup dan sesudah pembelajaran baik; Ketiga, tinggkat hasil belajar kelas eksperimen sebelum pembelajaran cukup dan sesudah pembelajaran baik; Keempat, terdapat pengaruh model aptitude treatment dokumentasi dan tes. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 22 orang untuk kelas kontrol dan 20 orang untuk kelas eksperimen interaction terhadap hasil belajar. Penerapan model aptitude treatment interaction, mampu mewujudkan kondisi belajar yang dinamis, kreatif dan mandiri.

Abstract

                                                                         Abstract               Vocabulary has an important role in the language as the process of thought or the media to communicate in the society which must be mastered by the mild mental retarded children. Based on the first observation, the second grade children get difficulties in their vocabularies, especially to recognize the vocabularies of plants and animals. Therefore, the appropriate way which meets their characteristics and needs is needed in the learnings process to develop their vocabularies. One of them is through the use of environment near school. This research aims to find out the effect of environmental learning source for the mild mental retarded children’s vocabulary before and after they are given the treatment. This research is quantitative research. It is pre-experiment research by using pretest-posttest design. The subjects of the research are 6 children. The data collecting technique is test. Sign test non parametric statistic is used to analyze the data. Based on the research result, the data is analyzed by using sign test, non parametric techniques and critical score α = 5%. Therefore the Zh is achieved from the pre test an post test, 2.05, it is bigger than Z critical score by using one side test 1.64 and two sides test 1.96.Therefore, Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The conclusion of this research is that there is a significant effect of environmental learnings source for the mild mental retarded children’s vocabulary at second grade of C Pertiwi Scholl for children with special needs in Mojokerto. Abstract

ABSTRACTA hindrance in communicating which hearing impairment children experienced was caused by the limitedness of hearing impairment children in hearing. The communication hindrance made hearing impairment children tend to withdraw from their environment and only depended on other people whom they only knew. This condition made hearing impairment children have difficulty when they entered to society environment to find a job so they required an education of vocational proficiency. One of the vocational proficiencies thought to hearing impairment children in senior high school level was food science. Bento characteristic was a new innovation in food science area i.e. arranging food supply so that it would be interesting and would make the children happy carrying food supply to the school. By carrying food supply to the school the children healthy would be more warranty, economic, and the children’s eating time would be on time. Therefore, it required a learning model which could optimize the vocational proficiency of bento characteristic and hearing impairment children’s skill in social life i.e. using cooperative learning.The purpose of this research was to test the influence of cooperative learning toward vocational proficiency of bento characteristic to hearing impairment children in class XII of SMALB Karya Mulia Surabaya. The type of this research was pre experiment in the design of “one group pre test post test design”. The data analysis was non parametric with sign test.The analysis result used sign test formula could be concluded that there was significant influence between cooperative learning and vocational proficiency of bento characteristic to hearing impairment children in SMALB Karya Mulia Surabaya and with critic test 5% to one side test (1,64) and two side (1,96) it indicated that Z value obtained in counting (2,05) was greater than value significance test.Keywords: cooperative learning, vocational proficiency of bento characteristic

Abstract

ABSTRACTHearing impairment children had several hindrances, one of the problems the hearing impairment children had was speech especially in writing basic sentence. hearing impairment children in writing sentence generally overlapped the structure arrangement or SPOK because of minimum vocabulary mastered while in writing a sentence it required mastering pattern structure of the sentence which would be written. therefore, it required a learning model which could optimize hearing impairment children ability in arranging basic sentence using inductive model of picturing word.This research had purpose to know whether there was influence of inductive model of picturing word toward writing basic sentence skill to hearing impairement children of class IV in SDLB B Karya Mulia Surabaya II Surabaya. This research used quantitative approach with pre experimental and one group pretest-posttest design. The data collection used test to know the result of writing basic sentence skill before and after doing treatment. The data analysis used sign test formula.The research indicated there was influence of inductive model of picturing word toward writing basic sentence skill. The analysis result ibndicated Z tavle 5% to two sides test was 1,96. Zh value obtained was 2,05 so that null hypothesis was refused and work hypothesis was accepted.Keywords: inductive model of picyuring word, writing skill
