Abstract

Response of Sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.) Pollination to Honey Bees (Aphis cerana) and Crop PopulationABSTRACT. High percentage of empty seed most problem sunflower cultivation in Indonesian, less native pollinators may be caused. Grown sunflower in the beekeepers state can be raising sum of fully seeds per head, in the other hand sunflower crops was source of nectar and pollen. The objective of this research was study response of sunflower with expression of percentage of empty seeds and seeds yield to be present honey-bees. The research was conducted in Buanasakti village, Batanghari sub-district, West Lampung district from December 2007 to March 2008. The treatment was distance between beekeepers state (in the stable: 0, 2, and 4 km) and number of plant population per ha (40,000, 60,000, and 80,000 plants). The conclusion was: (1) in the beekeepers state was produce number of branch was higher 124% and 32% than 4 km and 2 km from beekeepers state, respectively: percentage of empty seeds, dry seed per plot and harvest index in the beekeepers state was increasing 199%, 215,47% and 32.36% than 4 km from beekeepers state, (2) The population of 80,000 plant per ha was increasing dry weight of seeds per plot was higher than 60,000 and 40,000 plant per ha, and (3) in each state was difference number of population caused number of flowering date and head diameter prominent was significantly.

Abstract

Phosphorus and Nitrogen Uptake by Sunflower Due to Urea and SP-36 Fertilization on UltisolABSTRACT. The objective of this research were to study the effect of nitrogen (N) from urea and phosphorus (P) from SP-36 fertilization on N and P uptake by sunflowers (Heliantus annuus L.) on Ultisol.The result of this experiment used was a randomized completely block design arranged in factorial pattern with three replications. The first factor was urea fertilizer (without N, 108.70, 217.40, and 326.10 kg ha-1 urea) and the second factor was P fertilizer (without P, 138.90, 277.80, and 416.70 kg ha-1 SP-36). The result of the experiment showed that, the application of increased urea at various rates of SP-36 affected on soil N total, P available (Bray-1), and yield of sunflowers. Nitrogen and P uptake as well as dry weight of sunflowers by application of 217.40 kg ha-1 urea was higher than without urea. Fertilization of 277.80 kg ha-1 SP-36 had influenced N and P uptake than without SP-36.

Abstract

Permasalahan utama adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa di kelas IV SDK Despot Petunasugi, pada pembelajaran IPS dengan materi kenampakan alam dan keragaman sosial budaya. Pembelajaran ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDK Despot Petunasugi pada pelajaran IPS dengan materi kenampakan alam dan keragaman sosial budaya. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mengacu pada model PTK yang dikemukakan oleh Kemmis dan Mc. Targgart yang terbagi dalam 4 tahap yaitu: 1.Perencanaan, 2.Pelaksanaan tindakan, 3.Pengamatan/observasi, 4.Refleksi. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data kuantitatif dan data kualitatif. Pelaksanaan ini dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus dan masing-masing dua pertemuan. Pada pertemuan pertama siklus I hasil persentase aktivitas guru mencapai 65% dan pertemuan ke II mencapai 75% berada dalam kategori baik. Sedangkan hasil persentase aktivitas siswa pada pertemuan pertama siklus I mencapai 60% dan pertemuan ke II mencapai 65% berada dalam kategori baik. Pada hasil evaluasi kemampuan awal nilai rata-rata adalah 57,5. Adapun hasil evaluasi pada pertemuan 1 siklus I nilai rata-rata siswa mencapai 58,7 dan hasil evaluasi pertemuan 2 siklus I nilai rata-rata siswa mencapai 68,7. Berada dalam kategori baik. Sedangkan hasil evaluasi siswa pada pertemuan 1 siklus II nilai rata-rata mencapai 76,8  dan pada pertemuan 2 siklus II nilai rata-rata mencapai 89,3 berada dalam kategori sangat baik. Telah mencapai keberhasilan karena sudah sesuai dengan standar KKM di SDK Despot Petunasugi yaitu (65). Kata Kunci: Metode Jigsaw, Hasil Belajar, Pembelajaran IPS

Abstract

This study aims to analyze: (1) design of lesson plan Model of Teams Games Tournament,  (2) implementation Teams Games Tournament learning to increase motivation and learning activities of students in learning economy, (3) the system of learning evaluation model Teams Games Tournament, and (4) increasing of student achievement in the learning economy.The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) through   three cycles. The research subject is a class that is a class X.  Techniques   of data collection using questionnaire techniques, observation sheets, and tests. Data were analyzed by descriptive.quantitative.and.qualitative.Kata kunci: TGT, motivasi, aktivitas,  prestasi belajar.

Abstract

Problems in this study were the low mathematics learning outcomes of students, the environment and learning interest which make less support in the learning process of the fourth grade students at SD Negeri 1 Rajabasa Bandarlampung academic year 2014/2015. The population in this study were 120 students, with a sample of 30 students while sampling thechnique used was simple random sampling. The independent variable was the learning environment (X1) and interest in learning (X2) while the dependent variable was the result of learning mathematics (Y). Results of the data analysis showed that (1) there is a significant relationship between the learning environment with learning outcomes of Mathematics with a correlation coefficient of 0.684, (2) there is a significant relationship between learning interest with the learning outcomes of Mathematics with a correlation coefficient of 0.670, (3) there is a significant relationship between the environment and learning interset with the mathematics learning outcomes with coefficient of 0.710.Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah masih rendahnya hasil belajar Matematika siswa, lingkungan  dan minat belajar yang kurang mendukungnya proses pembelajaran pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Rajabasa Raya Kota Bandarlampung Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 120 siswa, dengan sampel sebanyak 30 siswa sementara tekhik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling. Variabel bebas adalah lingkungan belajar (X1) dan minat belajar (X2) sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah hasil belajar Matematika (Y).  Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa (1) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara lingkungan belajar dengan hasil belajar Matematika dengan koefisiensi korelasi sebesar 0,684, (2) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara minat belajar dengan hasil belajar Matematika dengan koefisiensi korelasi sebesar 0,670, (3) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara lingkungan dan minat belajar dengan hasil belajar Matematika dengan koefisiensi sebesar 0,710Kata kunci: lingkungan belajar, minat belajar, hasil belajar matematika.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan memaparkan struktur formal dan naratif, unsur semiotik, dan nilai etnopedagogik. Dalam Cerita Pantun Bujang Pangalasan. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik studi bibliografis. Hasilpenelitian ini mendeskripsikan tiga hal, yaitu struktur formal dan struktur naratif, unsur semiotik dan nilai etnopedagogik. Struktur Carita Pantun Bujang Pangalasan mencakup tindakan tokoh, alur, dan latar. Unsur semiotik mengacu pada indeks tindakan tokoh dan latar cerita. Nilai etnopedagogik dalam Cerita Pantun Bujang Pangalasan menunjukan karakter yakin pada kekuasaan Tuhan, hasrat belajar dan menguasai ilmu, hal ini dideskripsikan dengan karakter cerdas, berani, jujur, waspada, bersih hati, teguh hati, berusaha memahami dan memperhatikan orang lain, sopan, bijaksana, adil, sederhana dan rendah hati. Dengan karakter yang baik ini akhir ceritanya tercapai apa yang dicita-citakan oleh rajanya yaitu, kemuliaan, ketentraman dan ketenangan hidup, dan lulus ujian mencapai kesempurnaan, rakyat hidup rukun dan damai. This research aims to discover and delineate the formal and narrative structure, semiotic structure and ethnopedagogic values out of the story of Bujang Pangalasan. The research employed a descriptive method. Data were collected through a library research technique. Results reveal three parts: the structural, semiotic and etnopédagogic structures. The structure of the story of Bujang Pangalasan includes actions of the characters, plot and settings. The elements of semiotics are indexes of actions of the characters and plot.The ethnopedagogic values comprise a belief in God’s power, a passion for learning and acquiring science. This is portrayed in good traits such as smart, courageous, honest, alert, kind hearted, strong-willed, courteous, wise, just, modest, down to earth, and considerate of others. With these, in the end of the story, what the king was wishing, namely nobility, peace and serenity, attainment of perfection, harmonious life of people, were fulfilled.

Swimming endurance of mice administered black tea extract and chicken egg powder

Abstract

Research of swimming endurance on mice administered black tea extract and chicken egg powder was carried out. The aim of this research was to evalute natatory exhaustion mice administered black tea extract, chicken egg powder and its combinated. The result of this research shown that mice administered of black tea extract and chicken egg powder have a swimming endurance 3.25 minutes and 3.01 minutes. Mice which administered combination of black tea extract and chicken egg powder have a swimming endurance 4.80 minutes. Generally, mice which administered combination of black tea extract and chicken egg powder have a swimming endurance more better than mice which administered of black tea extract and chicken egg powder individually.
