Abstract

This corpus-based research focuses on building a corpus of Indonesian children’s storybooks to find the frequent content words in order to identify Indonesian-core vocabulary for teaching English to Indonesian preschool children. The data was gathered from 131 Indo¬nesian children’s storybooks, which resulted in a corpus of 134,320 words. These data were run through a frequency menu in MonoConc Pro, a corpus program. Data analysis was analyzed by selecting the frequent nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs before each of them was lemmatized. The result showed that the children were already exposed to both ordinary and imaginative concepts, antonym in adjective, time reference, and compound nouns. Abstract

The characteristic of a jelly candy is sweet in taste and has elastic texture. The elastic texture due to gelling agent addition such as carrageenan, sea weed, gum arabic, and gelatin. The Utilization of nile tilapia bone as the source of gelatin product is away to prevent gelatin that is not halal. The aim of the research was to know the concentration of nile tilapia bone gelatin which produced the best quality of jelly candies based on physical chemical characteristic as well as the member of Escherichia coli and hedonic value. The experiment was designed using a Completely Randomized Design with 3 treatments (9%, 10%, 11%) of nile tilapia bone gelatin concentrations. Each treatment was done in triplicate. Data of elasticity, moisture content, water activity, pH, sugar contents were analyzed with Analysis of Varians (ANOVA). A Honestly Significant Difference (HSD) test was conducted to find out the difference among the treatments. The data of hedonic quality was analyzed by a Kruskall Wallis test and continued by a Multiple Comparison. The result showed that the addition of 10% nile tilapia bone gelatin produced the best quality product which had the elasticity (14.20 Newton); moisture content (17.06%); Aw 0.785; pH 4.78; sugar content (48.23%); hedonic (8.13) and the product did not content Escherichia coli bacteria. Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mensintesis khitosan dan khitosan berat molekul rendah dari limbah udang putih (Penaeus merguiensis) 2) mengkarakterisasi khitosan dan khitosan berat molekul rendah, 3) menguji aktivitas khitosan berat molekul rendah terhadap bakteri Staphylococcus epidermidis.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen. Sintesis khitosan dilakukan melalui proses deproteinasi, demineralisasi, dan deasetilasi. Selanjutnya dilakukan Karakterisasi terhadap khitosan yang meliputi rendemen, kadar air, kadar abu, berat molekul, daya ikat air, daya ikat lemak, kelarutan, viskositas, derajat polimerisasi, derajat deasetilasi, dan struktur menngunakan FTIR. Sintesis khitosan berat molekul rendah dilakukan melalui proses hidrolisis secara enzimatis menggunakan enzim papain. Karakterisasi khitosan berat molekul rendah dilakukan dengan menghitung rendemen, berat molekul, derajat polimerisasi, derajat deasetilasi, dan struktur mennggunakan FTIR. Uji aktivitas antibakteri khitosan berat molekul rendah dilakukan terhadap bakteri S. epidermidis dilakukan menggunakan metode difusi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Khitosan dapat disintesis dari limbah udang putih melalui proses deproteinasi, demineralisasi, dan deasetilasi. 2) Karakteristik fisik khitosan yang dihasilkan adalah rendemen 52,82%, kadar air  (2,3±0,1)%, kadar abu 4,038%, berat molekul 2.679,57 g/mol, daya ikat air (590±21,3)%, daya ikat minyak (569±4,29)%, kelarutan (28±3,2)%, viskositas (1,33 ± 0,04) cp, derajat polimerisasi 16,627,dan derajat deasetilasi 82,72% dan karakteristik fisik khitosan berat molekul rendah. 3) Khitosan berat molekul rendah dapat disintesis dengan cara hidrolisis enzimatis menggunakan enzim papain. 4) Karakteristik khitosan berat molekul rendah meliputi rendemen 60%, berat molekul 2.401,80 g/mol, derajat polimerisasi 14,903, dan derajat deasetilasi 83,71%. 5) Dari aspek struktur kimia, produk khitosan, Khitosan berat molekul rendah dapat dibuktikan dari analisis FTIR. 6) Uji aktivitas antibakteri khitosan berat molekul rendah terhadap bakteri S. epidermidis pada konsentrasi 0,4% memiliki daya hambat 8,71 mm, konsentrasi 0,6% memiliki daya hambat 10,38 mm dan konsentrasi 0,8% memiliki daya hambat 15,91 mm. Kata Kunci: Limbah udang, khitosan, berat molekul rendah, hidrolisis, papain, antibakteri

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analysis the influences of learning motivation, discipline and environment simultaneously toward student?s achievements on accountant. This research uses causal descriptive with the numbers of population were 170 students, this research used census technique sampling. Result of this research is to show the influences of learning motivation, discipline and environment simultaneously toward student?s achievement on accountant in eleventh grade students of SMA Negeri 3 Palu which is shown by double determination  adjustment coefficient  score ( Adj. R- Square (R) was 0,659.  This score shows that three independent variable in this research have big influences was 65,9% toward students achievement on accountant. While others was 34,1% has influenced by  other variable such as emotional question , spiritual question, culture and the leader style which wasn?t being observed but also give influence to students achievement on accountant  in SMA Negeri 3 Palu .

Abstract

This research aims to develop a tutorial learning using a computer accounting and to determine the extent of the effectiveness of these products. Research design used of design. Development of learning the steps of Dick and Carey. The development of research results concluded that: the needs analysis use assessment questionnaires material expert, instructional design and learners. From the assessment results, it can be said that it is feasible to use. Computer learning tutorials is more effective and student’s interest is more increased in the learning process rather than the comparison class that did not use computer learning tutorials. The effectiveness in the use of learning tutorials were tested using t-test coefficient t is greater than t coefficient data table (2:00 > 5058), thus learning tutorials used computer was declared more effectivePenelitian bertujuan mengembangkan  pembelajaran tutorial menggunakan komputer pelajaran akuntansi dan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana efektifitas produk tersebut. Desain penelitian menggunakan desain. Desain pengembangan pembelajaran mengikuti langkah-langkah Dick and Carey. Hasil penelitian Pengembangan disimpulkan: Analis kebutuhan  menggunakan angket penilaian ahli materi, desain pembelajaran dan peserta didik, dari hasil penilaian  dapat dikatakan layak untuk digunakan. Pembelajaran   tutorial komputer  lebih efektif dan minat belajar siswa lebih meningkat  dalam proses pembelajaran dari pada kelas pembanding yang diberi perlakuaan tidak menggunakan pembelajaran tutorial komputer. Efektifitas penggunaan pembelajaran tutorial  diuji dengan menggunakan  uji- t  diperoleh koefesien t hitung lebih besar dari data koefesien t table (5.058>2.00), dengan demikian pembelajaran tutorial menggunakan komputer  dinyatakan lebih efektif.Kata kunci: pembelajaran akuntansi, pengembangan, tutorial komputer

Abstract

This research is conducted to determine the not polite speech used by teenagers. The purpose of this research to describe the language is not polite by teenagers in the area of Teluk Betung Barat Bandarlampung and its implications for learning Indonesian. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. Sources of data in this research is adult at Sinar Mulya village Teluk Betung Barat. The data were analyzed in this study were not polite form of speech used by teenagers. The results showed that the language in communication not polite adolescents done when the speaker is angry. In addition, the relationship between the narrator and hearer also affect the not polite language in communication. Violation of the principle of civility in speech dominated by the maxim praise adolescents. This maxim outline any disrespect substitutions to minimize and maximize the hearer respect hearer.Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui tuturan yang tidak santun yang digunakan oleh anak remaja. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan ketidaksantunan berbahasa oleh remaja di daerah Teluk Betung Barat Bandarlampung dan implikasinya terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah remaja di desa Sinar Mulya daerah Teluk Betung Barat. Data yang menjadi kajian dalam penelitian ini berupa tuturan yang tidak santun yang digunakan oleh remaja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa realisasi ketidaksantunan berbahasa dalam komunikasi remaja di daerah Teluk Betung Barat banyak dilakukan saat penutur sedang marah. Selain itu, hubungan antara penutur dengan mitra tutur juga ikut memengaruhi terjadinya ketidaksantunan. Pelanggaran prinsip kesopanan pada tuturan remaja didominasi oleh maksim pujian. Maksim ini menggariskan setiap pertuturan untuk meminimalkan ketidakhormatan pada mitra tutur dan memaksimalkan rasa hormat pada mitra tutur.Kata kunci: ketidaksantunan, komunikasi, maksim, remaja.

Abstract

Salinity stress is known for adverse effect on plants. Priming with salicylic acid was able to improve plant performance under salinity stress. This study aimed to determine the effect of priming duration with salicylic acid on growth, leaf anatomy and the optimal priming duration for sweet corn seedlings (Zea mays L.) under salinity stress. The experiment was based on Completely Randomized Design with two factors and five replications. The first factor was priming duration with salicylic acid (2 mM) with four different durations (0, 12, 18 and 24 h). The second factor was the level of salinity (NaCl 0% and 3%). Parameters observed were germination percentage, plant height, root length, fresh weight, dry weight, chlorophyll content, leaf proline content, leaf anatomy and stomatal density. Data were analyzed with t-test, ANOVA and followed by Duncan’s test at 95% confidence level. The results showed that 18-h priming duration observed as the highest germination percentage which was 7% higher than control.  Priming for 24 h showed phytotoxic effect for sweet corn on the germination phase by reducing the percentage of germination. The application of salicylic acid mitigated the toxic effects of NaCl stress on maize seedlings and considerably improved root and shoot growth, photosynthetic pigments, fresh weight, dry weight, proline content, and stomatal density, as well as could maintaining the leaf anatomy. The optimal priming duration with salicylic acid for sweet corn seedlings under 3 % salinity was 18 h.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the Effect of Media Use of Comics Without Text and Direct Learning on Early Knowledge and Narrative Writing Skills for Grade IV Elementary School Students. The type of research used is Quasi Experiment in the form of Randomized Control Group Only Design. The population in this study were fourth grade students of SDN Gugus V District X Koto Tanah Datar District with a sample of fourth grade students at SDN 26 Singgalang and fourth grade students at SDN 30 Singgalang. Sampling is done by Simple Random Sampling technique. The technique of analyzing data through initial knowledge tests, and the final test of narrative writing skills. The hypothesis is proposed using the t-test formula and two-way ANOVA. The results of the study showed that there was an effect of the use of media comics without text and direct learning on the initial knowledge and writing skills of students in elementary school fourth grade with 1) tests of narrative writing skills of students learning using comic media without text higher than students learning using learning directly with the average in the experimental class 83.37 and the average in the control class 76.75, 2) the test of narrative writing skills of students with high initial knowledge who learn using comic media without text higher than those who learn using direct learning with the average in the experimental class 85.75 and the average in the control class 79.64, 3) the test of narrative writing skills of students with low initial knowledge who learn using comic media without text is higher than those who learn using direct learning with on average in experimental class 81 and average in class control 75.19, 4) there is no interaction between comic media without text and the initial knowledge of students on narrative writing skills with ftable 4.09 and fcount 0.547.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the appropriate accounting to be applied at the company as a result of accounting is financial reports that can convey information about the work of each part of the company , especially the financial section. Regarding the accounting firm used descriptive method and interviews to determine the data to be used and applied accounting weaknesses in the company.The result showed that the accounting on Kitty Shop is still not operating effectively visible from Kitty Shop still could not present financial statements are correct and there are still some weaknesses that need to be considered and corrected for the achievement of corporate goals more effectively and efficiently. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis akuntansi yang sesuai dengan untuk diterapkan di perusahaan karena hasil dari akuntansi adalah laporan keuangan yang dapat menyampaikan informasi hasil kerja setiap bagian perusahaan terutama bagian keuangan. Mengenai akuntansi perusahaan digunakan metode wawancara untuk mengetahui data yang akan digunakan serta kelemahan akuntansi yang diterapkan di perusahaan. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa akuntansi pada Kitty Shop masih belum berjalan dengan efektif terlihat dari Kitty Shop masih belum bisa menyajikan laporan keuangan secara benar serta masih terdapat beberapa kelemahan yang perlu diperhatikan dan diperbaiki untuk pencapaian tujuan perusahaan dengan lebih efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul penyusunan RPP tematik-integratif berbasis character building yang layak dan efektif diterapkan sebagai bahan belajar mandiri bagi guru sekolah dasar. Penelitian pengembangan ini mengacu pada langkah yang dikembangkan oleh Borg & Gall yang terdiri dari 10 langkah. Subjek uji coba dalam penelitian ini adalah guru-guru kelas sekolah dasar di Gugus II Kecamatan Bambanglipuro Bantul, baik yang belum mengikuti pelatihan Kurikulum 2013 maupun yang sudah pernah. Jumlah subjek uji coba dalam penelitian ini adalah 2 orang guru untuk uji lapangan terbatas, 10 orang guru untuk uji coba lapangan utama, dan 36 orang guru untuk uji coba lapangan operasional. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan anekdot. Teknik ana- lisis data menggunakan paired sample test dan independent sample t-test dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul layak digunakan menurut penilaian ahli materi, ahli media, dan subjek uji coba pada uji coba lapangan terbatas, uji coba lapangan utama, dan uji coba lapangan operasional. Modul juga efektif digunakan sebagai bahan belajar mandiri, baik dari segi pemahaman maupun penerapan. Kata Kunci: modul, RPP, tematik-integratif, character building, belajar mandiri THE DEVELOPMENT OF A MODULE FOR WRITING THEMATIC-INTEGRATIVE LESSON PLANS BASED ON CHARACTER BUILDING AS A LEARNING MATERIAL FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHERS Abstract: This research aimed at developing a module for writing thematic-integrative lesson plans based on character building appropriate and effective to be applied as an independent learning material for elementary school teachers. This research and development referred to the 10-step procedure developed by Borg & Gall. The subjects of the try-out in this research were classroom elementary school teachers of Gugus II in District of Bambanglipuro Bantul, both who had joined the 2013 Curriculum training and who had not, consisting of 2 teachers for the limited try-out, 10 teachers for the main field try-out, and 36 teachers for the operational field try-out. The data collection instruments were questionnaires and anecdotes. The data analysis used the techniques of paired sample test and independent sample t-test with the significance values of 0,05. The results showed that the module was appropriate for use, according to the materials expert, the media expert, and the subjects of limited, main and operational try-outs. The module was also effective for use as teachers’ independent learning materials, both for understanding or application.
