Pengaruh Vertical Garden Terhadap Suhu Ruangan Sebagai Lembar Kerja Materi Pemanasan Global

Abstract

This study aims to find out significant effect of vertical garden on air temperature in one of the classrooms and the characteristics of Student Worksheet (LKPD) in class VII of the application of the use of vertical garden in the material of global warming. The mining model used is Borg and Gall. The study was conducted at Bandar Lampung Middle School 8 in August-September 2018. The type of data used is quantitative data that were air temperature measurement data in the vertical garden and non-vertical garden spaces. The results showed the value of t way -2,226, because | z | ≥ t0.05 then H0 is rejected. This means that there way a significant effect of vertical garden on the temperature of the classroom, while for the average score characteristics (LKPD) by the lecturer and teacher validator based on the overall aspects of 85,45% and 77% with the category "Very Good and Good" . Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan vertical garden terhadap suhu udara pada salah satu ruang kelas dan karakteristik Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) SMP kelas VII aplikasi penggunaan vertical garden pada materi pemanasan global.Model pengambangan yang digunakan yaitu Borg and Gall. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung pada bulan Agustus- September 2018.Jenis data yang digunakan yaitu data kuantitatif berupa data pengukuran suhu udara pada ruang verticalgarden dan non vertical garden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa diperoleh nilai t= -2,226, karena  ≥ t0,05 maka H0 ditolak. Hal ini berarti ada pengaruh yang signifikan dari penggunaan vertical garden terhadap suhu ruang kelas, sedangkan untuk karakteristik (LKPD) oleh validator dosen  dan guru diperoleh rata-rata skor keidealan berdasarkan keseluruhan aspek yaitu 85.45% dan 77% dengan kategori “Sangat Baik dan Baik”. Kata kunci: vertical garden, suhu udara, lembar kerja peserta didik (LKPD)

Abstract

Critical thinking skills and mastery of subject matter is required by students in the learning procces. The research has purpose to determine the effect of application audio-visual media through TPS model to the critical thinking ability and material mastery on environmental management subject matter. This is a experimental study research by pretest postest non equivalent group design. The samples of this research are VII E and VII F classroom chosen by purposive sampling method. Quantitative data obtained from the pretest and the posttest which analyzed statistically using t-test by spss 17. Qualitative data obtained from questionnaire regarding student response on audio-visual media through TPS model which analyzed descriptively. The results showed an increase in the critical thinking skills and material mastery of the experimental class on all indicators (critical thinking skills N-gain 61.12%, mastery of subject matter N- gain 62.25%). Moreover, 70% students give positive response on audio-visual media through TPS learning model. Therefore, the using of audio-visual media through TPS has influence significantly to increasing the critical thinking skill and material mastery of the student. Keywords: audio-visual media, cooperative learning model of TPS,   critical thinking skill, material mastery.

PROFIL GURU DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPA PADA KELAS III SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe how the teachers teach science for grade three of Rajabasa elementary school. The research subjects are  six teachers who teached science for grade three of Rajabasa elementary school by using purposive sampling technique. The research data was qualitative data that was obtained from description of teacher’s learning process. Data analysis was gotten from learning activity observation sheet that was compared with process standard, scientific approach and contructivism. The research result show that  science learning that was done by teachers who teach grade three of Rajabasa elementary school is not suit enough with process standard (83,4%), scientific approach (66,7%)  and contructivism (66,7%). Thus, the science learning that was done by teachers who teach grade three of Rajabasa elementary school is not suit enough with those three cases.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil guru dalam pembelajaran IPA pada kelas III Sekolah Dasar di Rajabasa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah enam guru yang mengajar IPA pada kelas III Sekolah Dasar di Rajabasa menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian ini adalah data kualitatif yang diperoleh dari deskripsi proses pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan oleh guru. Analisis data diperoleh dari lembar observasi kegiatan pembelajaran yang dibandingkan dengan standar proses, pendekatan saintifik, dan konstruktivisme. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran IPA yang dilaksanakan oleh guru-guru kelas III pada SD di Rajabasa adalah kurang sesuai dengan standar proses (83,4%), pendekatan IPA saintifik (66,7%) dan konstruktivisme (66,7%). Dengan demikian, pembelajaran IPA yang dilaksanakan oleh guru-guru kelas III pada SD di Rajabasa adalah kurang sesuai dengan ketiga hal tersebut.Kata kunci: konstruktivisme, pembelajaran IPA, pendekatan saintifik, profil guru, standar proses

Abstract

The purpose of this study known the influence of using learning method two stay-two stray toward students’ study result. Design of this study was pretest-postest equivalent group. The samples were  VIIA and VIIB that chosen by random sampling. This research used quantitative and qualitative data. The quantitative data were pretest and postest that analyzed by U-test. The Qualitative data was students activity that descriptive analysis. The result of research showed that students’ highly activity result with N-gain average was 94. Then the result of students activity such as working in group, discussing, and presentation of the result of discussion were also high with the average 85,8 %. Thus, it could be concluded that the learning through TSTS method was influenced to the result and student learning activity. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran TSTS terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Desain penelitian ini adalah pretes-postes kelas ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIA dan VIIB  yang dipilih secara random sampling. Data penelitian ini berupa data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai pretes dan postes yang dianalisis menggunakan uji-U. Data kualitatif berupa data aktivitas belajar yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa tinggi dengan rata-rata nilai N-gain sebesar 94. Selanjutnya aktivitas bekerjasama dengan teman dalam mencari informasi, melakukan kegiatan diskusi, dan mempresentasikan hasil diskusi pada siswa juga tinggi dengan rata-rata 85,8%. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran menggunakan model TSTS berpengaruh terhadap hasil dan aktivitas belajar siswa. Kata kunci : aktivitas belajar, ekosistem, hasil belajar, model pembelajaran TSTS

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectivity of the cooperative learning STAD type  to improve mastery of the material and activity of the SMP Negeri 2 Tegineneng students. The study design was a pretest-posttest non equivalent. Sample were the class VIIA and VIIB that selected by cluster random sampling technique. The qualitative data obtained from the observation sheets. Quantitative data was the mastery of the material obtained from pretest and posttest. Data analysis of student activity using student activity index, whereas mastery of the material using the Mann-Whitney U test using SPSS 17. The results on the experimental class showed that a STAD model could be affect in activity and mastery of materials, it was increasing in all aspect every meeting. Thus, the STAD model can increase the activity and mastery of the subject matter of the organism characteristics  by the SMP Negeri 2 Tegineneng students.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dalam meningkatkan penguasaan materi dan aktivitas siswa SMP Negeri 2 Tegineneng. Desain penelitian ini adalah pretes-postes tak ekuivalen. Sampel adalah siswa kelas VIIA dan VIIC yang dipilih dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Data kualitatif diperoleh dari lembar observasi. Data kuantitatif yaitu penguasaan materi diperoleh dari pretes dan postes. Analisis data aktivitas siswa menggunakan indeks aktivitas siswa, sedangkan penguasaan materi menggunakan Uji Mann-Whitney U dengan program SPSS 17. Hasil penelitian pada kelas eksperimen menunjukkan model STAD berpengaruh terhadap aktivitas dan penguasaan materi, yaitu adanya peningkatan setiap aspek pada setiap pertemuannya. Dengan demikian, model STAD dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan penguasaan materi pokok ciri-ciri makhluk hidup oleh siswa SMP Negeri 2 Tegineneng.Kata kunci : aktivitas siswa, ciri-ciri makhluk hidup, penguasaan materi, STAD

Abstract

The research objective were to determine the effect of teaching materials brochures through cooperative learning model student teams achievemen division (STAD) on the activity and mastery of the material. Research design using a pretest-posttest non equivalent. The sample was grade class X2 and X3 are taken by random cluster sampling technique. The research data in the form of quantitative data and qualitative data. The results showed that the use of teaching materials brochures through STAD cooperative learning model increases student mastery of the material, is seen in the experimental class average N-value gain of 58.88. Aspects of the control of matter has the highest average value, namely the application aspects (C3) is 0.88. The average percentage of students learning activities ie 80.77% have a high criteria. Most of the students gave a positive response to the use of teaching materials brochures.Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh bahan ajar brosur melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe student teams achievemen division (STAD) terhadap aktivitas dan penguasaan materi. Desain penelitian menggunakanpretest-posttest non equivalen. Sampel penelitian ini adalah  kelas X2 dan  kelas X3 yang diambil dengan teknik clusterrandom sampling. Data penelitianberupa data kuantitatif dan data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan bahan ajar brosur melalui model pembelajaran koperatif tipe STAD meningkatkan penguasaan materi siswa, ini terlihat pada kelas eksperimen rata-rata nilai N-gain sebesar 58,88. Aspek penguasaan materi memiliki nilai rata-rata tertinggi yaitu pada aspek aplikasi  (C3) yaitu 0,88. Rata-rata persentase aktivitas belajar siswa yaitu 80,77 % memiliki criteria tinggi.Sebagian besar siswa memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap penggunaan bahan ajar brosur.Kata kunci : aktivitas siswa, brosur, fungi, STAD, penguasaan materi.

DESKRIPSI KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH SISWA PADA KONSEP PENCEMARAN LINGKUNGAN

Abstract

This research aimed to know students’ problem solving capability. The design was simple descriptive by purposive sampling so those class VII.1,VII.2, VII.3, VII.4, dan VII.5 were choosen as subject. The technique of analysis that has been used is descriptive analysis. The qualitative data were obtained from conversion assessment of student worksheet, poster and written test. The results of this research showed that students’ problem solving capability had moderate criteria (68.32). The average of percentage of student worksheet assessment  had very high criteria (85.68%), low criteria (58.48%) on poster assessment and had moderate criteria (65.11%) on written test score. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Desain yang digunakan adalah deskriptif sederhana dengan subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas VII.1, VII.2, VII.3, VII.4, dan VII.5 yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif. Data kualitatif diperoleh dari konversi penilaian LKS, poster, dan tes tertulis. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa siswa memiliki kemampuan pemecahan masalah dengan kriteria sedang (68.32). Terlihat dari rerata persentase penilaian LKS memiliki kriteria tinggi (85.68%), kriteria rendah (58.48%) pada penilaian poster dan kriteria sedang (65.11%) pada nilai tes tertulis.Kata kunci : LKS, pemecahan masalah, pencemaran lingkungan, poster, tes tertulis

PENGARUH METODE QUANTUM LEARNING TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KREATIF SISWA

Abstract

Based on observations in SMA Negeri 1 Purbolinggo, creative thinking skills by students haven’t been developed yet optimally. Alternative is the use of quantum learning. This study aimed to determine the effect of the use of quantum learning method the ability to think creatively by students in the major subject Human Motion Systems. This research is an experimental non-equivalent pretest-posttest-design study. The sample was XI IPA1 and XI IPA2 which was selected from the population using purposive sampling selected. Quantitative data obtained from the average value of pretest, posttest and N-gain. Qualitative data were in form of students’ learning activities, and students responses to quantum learning method. The results demonstrate the ability to think creatively in high experimental class. The conclusion of the study is that there is a significant influence of quantum learning method toward creative thinking abilities of students in the material at the Human Motion Systems at SMA Negeri 1 Purbolinggo. Berdasarkan observasi di SMA Negeri 1 Purbolinggo, kemampuan berpikir kreatif oleh siswa belum dikembangkan optimal. Alternatif  yang digunakan yaitu penggunaan metode quantum learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan metode quantum learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif oleh siswa pada materi pokok Sistem Gerak Pada Manusia. Penelitian merupakan studi eksperimen dengan desain pretes postes non-equivalen. Sampel penelitian  siswa kelas XI IPA1 dan XI IPA2 yang dipilih dari populasi secara purposive sampling. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari  rata-rata nilai pretes, postes, N-gain. Data kualitatif berupa aktivitas belajar siswa, dan  tanggapan siswa terhadap metode quantum learning. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif kelas eksperimen tinggi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian adalah terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan metode quantum learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada materi Sistem Gerak pada Manusia SMA Negeri 1 Purbolinggo. Kata kunci : kemampuan berpikir kreatif, metode quantum learning, sistem gerak pada manusia.

Abstract

The purpose of the research was determine the influence of TGT learning model application towards students’ achievement. The quantitative data is taken from the mean of pretest and posttest it was analyzed using T-test at 95% confidance level. The Qualitative data was students’ learning activity taken by observation sheet during learning process. This research shown that it was increasing the score of pre-test and post-test student achievment by the cooperatif learning TGT 37.54  to 88.26 with N-gain of 82.37.  The students’ learning activity the mean score of learning activity increases 78.40%. The highest aspect was asking question, it was 81.30%.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran TGT terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Data penelitian berupa data kuantitatif yaitu hasil belajar siswa yang diperoleh dari  rata-rata nilai pretes dan postes yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji-t pada taraf kepercayaan 95%. Data kualitatif  yaitu aktivitas belajar siswa yang diperoleh dari lembar observasi selama proses pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada kelas yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT dengan rata-rata pretes yaitu 37,54 meningkat menjadi rata-rata postes yaitu 88,26 dengan N-gain sebesar 82,37.  Aktivitas belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dengan nilai rata-rata aktivitas belajar sebesar 78,40 %. Aspek aktivitas yang mengalami peningkatan tertinggi adalah aspek mengajukan pertanyaan yaitu sebesar 81,30 %.Kata kunci :  aktivitas siswa, hasil belajar, model pembelajaran tipe TGT, sistem pencernaan 

INFLUENCE OF USE APPROACH TO MATERIALS SCIENCE PROCESS SKILLS ON SKILLS CRITICAL THINKING STUDENT

Abstract

The observations and discussions with teachers who taught in Biology class III SD Negeri 1 Kampung Baru Lampung, it is known that the dominant learning more teachers using the conventional approach. Students also receive more information from the teacher so that students are less than optimal in empowering potential, including critical thinking skills. One effort that can help empower students in critical thinking skills is to use science process skills. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of science process skills for critical thinking skills of students in the subject matter of Characteristics and Needs of Living Things. The study design is a group pretest-posttest non-equivalent. The samples in this study were grade IIIA and IIIB were randomly selected by random sampling technique clusster. Data were obtained from the pretest and posttest at each meeting, the gain score is calculated by the formula. Data analysis using t-test at 5% level of belief using SPSS 17. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant effect of the use of science process skills for critical thinking skills of students in the subject matter of Characteristics and Needs of Living Things. Critical thinking skills students are learning in the classroom using science process skills approach higher grade than learning to use a conventional approach.
